[PRP] Quiet bird (Luyu & Dhahabu)

Luyu had been hiding pretty much during the whole of the sky ceremony. Now though the pale lioness was trying to be brave and put herself out there. Her little bird Culvour sat on her shoulder and whispered in her ear. Luyu knew that she had to try and be brave. Staying in the shadows and not socialising was making her more and more introverted. She really didn't want to be introverted. She wanted to be more friendly, she wanted to make friends and be able to approach others. She wanted to go to someone that wasn't just her family and feel confident enough to say hello.

With that in mind she had let her little bird companion talk her in to going to this years tree ceremony. She had been to one before when she was much younger, surrounded by her family she had felt safe and secure, she had also stayed in a close knit bundle never leaving her siblings to explore the wider world. She had always been quiet, taking after her name, she was a little nervous bird, but this year, she would change that.

Culvour spread her wings and looked around owlishly, she was actually braver than her lion companion, which didnt really make any sense, she was a lot smaller and a lot more vulnerable than her lioness friend, but she knew deep down that if she didn't stand tall and be brave she would never get Luyu to meet anyone outside of her family unit. "Come on Luyu, speed up or the festival will be over."

Dhahabu Ligaiisei had done the complete opposite of what Luyu had been doing during the sky ceremony. he had been very active in enjoying the sky ceremony and chatting with those who were family or friend. he was very outgoing with no issues even greeting the new comers who decided to join and put into the different clans. right now though he had managed to slip away from his family to go see if there was anyone else beside family he could chat up. grinning, he was now away from the group of his family and off on his own to see if there was anyone new for him to make friends with. it was the best part of the yearly ceremony's in his opinion to meet the new comers and those from the other clans.

The pale male caught her eye almost immediately, his teal tattoos making him stand out despite his cream and white coat. She managed a smile, he seemed to me coming this way,s he just had to pouch up the courage and say hello. Clearing her throat she made a strangled sound that came out like a mixture between a frog and a vulture.

Chastising herself she tried again, this time her voice managed a very quiet melodic squeek and even a word. "Hello." She smiles shyly her sky blue eyes glancing over the other, he definately wasn't of the same clan as she but that's as the point of coming here, she was here to be social. To find friends that were currently strangers.

Dhahabu had not noticed her at first until he heard the sound she made, which caught his attention quickly. it was when she finally spoke hello shortly after that, he was surprised by how quiet and shy she seem. giving a smile to her, he could tell she was not part of the shadow clan but from one of the others. "hello to you too. i'am Dhahabu Ligaiisei of the shadow clan." grinning it was clear he was happy to be meeting someone new. " do you mind if I ask your name and what clan your from? I know pretty much everyone in the shadow clan unless they just joined cause of the ceremony." sitting down and curling his tail around himself, he kept a cheesy grin on his face but couldn't help it since he was in such a great mood.

The pale lioness shook her head "I was born here." She whispers a little smile on her maw. She had broken the ice, or well she had managed to get words out to someone that was a stranger. He had a full name which meant he too was born here. Shadow clan, she definately didn't know anyone from there. "I'm Luyu Adagau, I am of the bird clan" She shuffles her paws nervously. She still didn't feel sure about speaking to someone new, but at least she was trying.

The little female dove opened her wings and fluttered to sit on the lionesses head. "You don't have to be shy Luyu." The little bird clicked her beak and nodded to Dhahabu "Luyu doesn't get out much." She bobs happily.
