                                SUB ROADS INFO

Overview: As the development of storm riding continued to flourished, so did the techniques and principles of once simple roads. Now, do to the amount of increased natural talent and intellect, more advanced roads have become a rarity and once unique roads have become more and more common. This caused for the evolution of the Sub Roads. Once originally just roads focused on a specific aspects, these roads have evolved over the 20 year span unto unforeseen forces. There are two types of sub roads, Advanced and Fusion.

subroads are roads that hold true to the old ways of the Storm Riding world. For example, before the production of a massive road and cult like following, Apollon road was and still is a subroad of Flame road. This would mean the aspect of focus for the subroad, was time, or the use of heat mirages and light refraction with flames in order to hide and cause the illusion of time. Another example would be Current Road, which focuses on the principle of pzeolectricity in order to produce strong acoustic for superiority gravity like effects.

Fusion roads is not a new concept but one that has grown throughout the years both in complication, technicality, and popularity. Originally, the only fusion road in the storm riding world was Jade, but that needed the implementation of the regalia in order to be used efficiently. However, now do to the evolving of riding, the heavily accessibility to analyzation of roads and road mechanics at the tap of a finger, and the exponential increase of talented riders has made for the combining of two roads to become not only available but efficient without the need of regalia. To do this, riders tend to mix and combine mechanics of their main road with a mechanic of another road. This either superchargers their road and amplifies it power, or the combination of mechanics synergies to create an entirely new mechanic.

SUB ROADS

CURRENT ROAD
Road: Gaia Road
Description: The basic element of Gaia road revolves around conduction of vibrations and Piezoelectric capabilities. This road focuses more on the Piezoelectric aspect of the gaia road. By producing piezoelectricity and manipulating it not only from the production do to air treks, but the piezoelectricity in the body in which occurs from the bones, the rider utilizes this aspect to immobilize and take out their enemies through the current taking out the air treks or through the sound piercing and disorienting. This aspect is also used in the production of levitation and to strengthen, or quicken their body. With this road, the user harness. For levitation, the riders main focus on the piezoelectricity allows for the production of Acoustic waves. These waves allow for rider levitate objects at a stronger rate than any normal gaia road rider. Replacing destroying enemies with environment to taking them completely off the road. Current riders are specialists in quickly passing their opponent while disrupting them on the move, making them a force to be reckon with. Current riders prove that Gaia road doesn't have to be immobile.

Symphonia Road
Road: Ring
Description:A completely offensive retooling of the Ring Road. The Symphonic Road focuses on the Ring Road's natural sensitivity to the world of sound and weaponizes it through the use of an equipped medium. These mediums often vary in size and shape as devices; many, however, tend to take the form of various musical instruments (an example is Kanon's guitar). Powered by A.T. technology, these machines amplify the frequency of sonic vibrations to great effect by producing a variety of attacks; such as destructive sound waves, concussive blasts, and blades of sound that shred the flesh. Riders of this Road are heavily in-tune with sound and possess a keen sense of hearing. When combined with the time keeping abilities of Metronome the offensive capabilities of the Symphonic Road are almost limitless in flexible application.

CYGNUS ROAD
Road: Wing Road
Description: A unique variation of the Wing Road that specializes in producing a drastic decrease in air temperature by indirectly manipulating the movement of the molecules. This process occurs much like how one "catches a Moondrop," using their palms to interface with the air and creating a tangible surface through differential pressure (the difference in pressure between two points). Where the Cygnus Road differs is the effect of this surface. By separating lighter more active air underneath denser heavier air the contrast in weight forces the molecules of the lighter air to slow down through pressure and proximity. The rapid decrease in movement between molecules results in a significant loss of thermal energy similar to a change in the state of matter. This process allows the Cygnus Road to create immediate and devastating cold snaps at the wave of a hand; more proficient riders are able to flash freeze water vapor in the air into ice to varying degrees as their level of control expands -- particularly in enclosed spaces. Due to their body's constant exposure to freezing temperatures riders of the Cygnus Road are significantly resistant to extreme cold but likewise susceptible to large quantities of heat.

Helios Road
Road: Flame Or Apollon
Description:The original and Purest road of Storm Riding. This combines Flame and Apollon to make the original pure Flame road focusing on speed, heat, and time. With this Apollon road riders have access to Flame road tricks and Flame road riders have access to Apollon road tricks including their basic road tricks. Versatility, and more usage of heat , the pure Helios Road rewards its riders not only with 2x increase heat production and speed for lower cost, but also allows for a more methodical run.
Bonuses: Flame! and Oh Time! are able to be used with no Stamina cost. Wear costs is the same. Can pay regular stamina cost and double wear cost in order to double the production of heat from Flames and OhTime!. Gain access to the road tricks of the opposite road with no AP cost)

Pure Jade Road
Road: Jade Road
Description: Sticking to Jade road, the user has gained the ability to compensate for their previous weakness, causing for that weakness to be improved upon. With this, it’s still the Jade road you know and love granting access not only to pure jade road tricks but to wing and Gaia as well. Wing and Gaia tricks will cost an extra 3 Stamina to use while pure Jade road tricks cost an extra 2 Stamina to use. Wing and Gaia tricks are always weaker against riders who posses them as their base roads. For example if Jade user and Wing road user both use pile tornado. The wing road users wins every time no matter the strength difference. This is because the wing road user is a master of the wing road and all of its principles, while jade road riders are practitioners. Doesn't matter how strong your wind is if your manipulation of the wind is not on the same level. The only exception to this rule is possessing the Regalia in which case the regalia compensates for lack of mastery. Unlike other subroads, this subroad costs 50 AP.

THE FUME ROAD
Road: Over
Description: A road engraved within the internal workings of the body. sibling to the lotus, it is a branch of onigiris smell road. in contrast to excretions of the body however, the fume road employs the fumes of the trek themselves, exploiting friction and heat to produce toxins that can cause serious damage when inhaled. A key factor of the road is ensuring your opponent remains in range of its fumes. coupled with the fumes distribution, the road requires intensive technical skill, acute precision, and maneuverability to achieve its full potential. however, due to the indiscriminate nature of the road, user and allies alike could fall victim to its toxins if the proper precautions are not taken

Spiral Road
Road: Wing
Description:The Spiral Road, also known as the Climate Road or the Front Road, is a road derived from the Hurricane's situational paths to create an adverse wind that unionizes with the current climate and bends it to his will. the road is known as Spiral because of it cycling, or spiraling, through different climates. Its most basic elements are present, using air as a catalyst, breaking air currents and weaving them to manipulation via spiraling the streams themselves, when used in conjunction with the current weather they will birth the appropriate Front associated with it. After much training, can manipulate the air about him to form a Warm & Cold Fronts. The Rider breaks apart the wind and collects the still air that results from it, by collecting this still air it becomes very dense, and thus, more shapely and solid given its prior density due to its low temperature. The upward motion caused by the cool, dense air wedging beneath and hoisting up the warmer air creates a lowered pressure that, when combined with the moisture in the air, create controllable phenomena within a set radius. Harsh winds and thick hazes at standard levels [B-Rank], light, prolonged rain and thunderstorms at more advanced levels via the creation of miniature stratus or nimbostratus clouds [A & S Rank]. By reversing this process, utilizing slower moving, lighter warm air mass, it is lackadaisically lifted and overrun by denser cold air. As it rises and cools, it is then manipulated as it expands to create cloud coverage. Once he condenses them enough the rider can conceive and wield sleet & hail [B-Rank] and heavy snow [A & S Rank].

Glacier Road
Road: Sonia
Description:The Glacier Road focuses more on the aspect of speed, power and rotation. It is a run-style which lacks the perfection, finesse and control of the Sonia Road, but is still accompanied by the gift of having a wider range of motion and maneuverability; without which, feats of this road become impossible to accomplish. Having such similar mechanics, the Glacier Road also incorporates self-harm to the body in as much as the Sonia Road does. However, the run of Glacier Road is performed with a slight ease to the body of the rider, particularly because the body acts as a medium for transferring the pressure on the body into the surrounding air-abundant atmosphere.

As the name of the road suggests, the Glacier Road is a cold road covered in ice. It embodies not the death or absence of Air via Sonic Boom/Thorn production, but the death or absence of heat whilst now using air as a medium, instead of tearing through it. Curved movements, tight turns, swerves, and rotational movements such as twirls and fast paced spins are essential to the Glacier Road's production of ice, along with precise and sharp motions to execute it's offensive capabilities..The rider uses her rotational movement in a run, increasing the pressure she exerts on her body while in motion. A sharp swing of her leg, or a kick, becomes the motion responsible for propagating the pressure from her body into the surrounding atmosphere in the same manner as producing a sonic boom, however, in this instance, a wave of air is formed. The immediate transfer of pressure into the atmosphere is enough to rapidly decrease the temperature of the produced air wave birthed in a certain atmospheric space, to the extent that particles within that certain volume of air turn cold, condense and solidify. (This is an assumed application of the High Pressure - Low Temperature relationship for Gasses.)

The Glacier Road exists, however, by sacrificing the Sonia Road's high defensive capabilities, but turning a the usual Thorn Whips into curved blades of frozen air, at will, for an increase in general offense. Products of the Glacier Road include the later, and as well as the possibility of production of fog. In addition, because of the mechanics of the Road, it's greatest weakness becomes heat - and as such, using this run-style makes the Sakura somewhat vulnerable to existing heat-based Roads

Static Road
Road: Rising
Description: A Sub-Road built around the idea of direct collection and use of electricity without the use of currents. Instead of using a set of wires to create a current and generate large amounts of electricity, chooses to use a simple technique of moving very very fast to create static electricity. By moving at incredibly high speeds he creates a dry, heated area for ionization to occur. Once this happens he draws in an excess negative, or positive charge on his treks, creating an effect similar to when you run over carpet in socks, only in any environment. The electricity generated from this technique is much more volatile than that of the normal current contained energy. It also gathers much faster. The tricks of this sub-road are less about trickery and skill and more about an endless onslaught. Never stopping. Never resting.

Gale Road
Road: Wind
Description: A peculiar branch of the Wing Road that focuses not on speed and maneuverability, or finely molded constructs of air through finesse, but wide-spanning formless attacks powered by aggression and brute strength. Riders of the Gale Road are confident in their physical abilities often molding the wind around their limbs to enhance physical strikes and blows to their maximum potential. Gale Road tricks have a tendency to be larger and more explosive than their predecessor forgoing accuracy for a wider area of effect to create powerful bone-crushing gales of wind that level everything in their path. Common attacks from riders of the Gale Road include Air Beams and monstrous Impact Winds with enough force to tear through even Time Tricks. Similar to many other Wing family members, the Gale Road, becomes more increasingly more effective in an enclosed area. Arguably, it is the Road with the most brute strength in a closed space. Second only to the Over Road.
- Riders of the Gale Road can use Impact Wind for the Stamina cost of [1] Class less.
- If Riders of the Gale Road possess 450 Strength or more, Impact Wind, may break through any Time Trick.

Revelation Road
Road: Bloody
Description:Working off of the mechanics behind the Behemoth's Tail, Blade Fang, Crunch, as well as the Slice Method trick. Reaping the basis of vibrations from the effects of the road mechanics to enhance the fangs destructive and cutting capabilities, as well as working off of the perfect and precise timing of riding maneuvers to increase as well as create effects. This road's mechanic branches into two forms of shock waves due to the parented basis, that depends solely on how Enoch exactly uses his legs and kicks. Complete balance within the physical traits where speed and strength are a powerful factor within this road. By working off of the pressure and inertial build that are released through the treks; when kicking projectiles the fangs work off of a Oblique Shock Wave effect, where as when they are physical contact with the treks or ground itself it is based around the Bow Shock Wave effect. I.E: Using Bloody Roll Soul with the Bow effect will engage in not only a carving and bloody sequence but an explosive impact with every ride of contact on the opponents flesh. Thus, allowing him to not only kick horizontal or vertical shock waves, but focused and unfocused forms of them as well. By doing this, it allows Enoch to produce a paralytic shock wave. Making the assault more so of an internal based damage than that of external when coming into contact of physical kicks. The Revelation road utilizes the constant quick pace of the 0-Max-0 method in order to set swiftness and power that aids in the shift of momentum and produces a more persistent wave of run. The motions giving off the rider's way of appearing as if they were fluid like or liquid like. It's a smooth flick, where tricks are unpredictable, and the next move is peculiar. Mysterious in its own way, this run style gives the rider the advantage in misguiding the opponent. This road not only carves its answer into individuals, but leaves the trail that paves the way for those against or those with it. These being the very carvings within the ground that grants them the cut time of Inertial Energy boost. These trails can be used for offensive means, if the Rider has tricks for it. Making the trail of this road, just as dangerous as the Rider that created it.

Dynamic Road
Road: Ring
Description:Tuners of this sub-road create and maintain specific frequencies in their maneuvers with sound’s dynamic property. It takes a tuner’s unique Timing to sense the wavelength patterns of riders. Engine acceleration is then used to create frequencies, although it can be done via other means such as striking a surface in Jump. For example, a Tuner without custom parts utilizes the Acceleration feature of their engines to create a sound wave length matching their opponent's. They may choose to increase the speed of the wave by doing so over a low density surface such as air, or slow down the wavelengths created by accelerating the engines over a high density surface (such as water). The direction of the sound (opposing vs same) may also influence the dissonance/amplification.

Amplification is the Supportive tool of this sub-road; the Tuner creates a frequency to boost another rider’s “song” by matching its wave peaks and timing. As a result, the affected rider could gain offensive power, vitality, or merely not require as much stamina to perform maneuvers.

The Tuner creates a Dissonance frequency as an Offensive/Defensive means to weaken, neutralize, overpower, or damage another rider. Amplification/dissonance also can occur though Custom Parts slash technology being added to trecks. For example, a Tuning Fork attachment.

Onslaught Road
Road: Death
Description:Reliant purely in high speed motions and crafting volatile amounts of overwhelming heat, the road itself works off the trick, "Air Stream". With that as its base, the appliance of acceleration becomes key; movements increase the heat of the wheels until they burn a hot orange tint, reaching maximum speed in an instant. With this increase, the wheels go from orange to a glossy red; the heat having grown to such insane levels that they now completely melt anything they ride over, causing mass havoc and eradicating most surfaces. A byproduct of this is the heat in the area rises indefinitely, causing air to lighten and anyone near to feel on the verge of collapse from overheating. This effect is reduced significantly if every stopped riding constantly at max.

Mending Road
Road: Ring
Description:A road meant for those who don't wish to fight in the traditional sense, but instead intended for those who rely solely on their technology or even their allies. The Mending Road uses the principles of the Ring Road that are generally left for outside of combat; Fixing Things. The entire Sub-Road is based around fixing things while under pressure instead of while sitting pretty in a workshop. The Quick Fix Trick allows riders to repair air treks while under duress, but being only a lesser trick it doesn't pack enough power or skill behind it to truly perform a real repair job. This job takes the principles behind that trick and lets the user truly repair air treks and air trek technology on the fly, simply by trading their own personal energy for the task. The Road only works for those who are holding a set of tools design specifically for use of the road. The tools can be unique to each rider, but they must all be made specifically for use with the Mending Road and its tricks

Fantasy Road
Road: Smell
Description:The focus of the Smell Road is shifted towards the corruption of the senses of anyone affected by the sweat of the rider. Through hard work and determination, a rider of the Fantasy Road has gained important knowledge revolving around his or her applications of sweat towards other people and is now able to afflict stacks of "Corruption" upon their targets. Despite the name of the "debuff," the intent of this Sub-Road is simply to allow a Smell Road rider a way to determine how much someone is effected by their sweat, a way to apply different effects without the constant use of their treks, and to continue keeping those effects going. "Corruption" is the value used for all three, with future Fantasy Road tricks or gear requiring a specific number of stacks in order to take effect. Whenever any of these tricks or gear are used, they also remove those stacks of Corruption from the target. Each time a person comes into contact with a Fantasy Road rider's sweat, they gain One [ 01 ] stack of Corruption. When a person ends their post within a gas cloud, pool, or any other continuous application, they gain an addition stack of Corruption. Staying in the same continuous application for any longer than Two [ 02 ] posts causes the Corruption gain to increase to Two [ 02 ] at the end of each post. The overall maximum amount of stacks a single person can have on them is Ten [ 10 ] and after they have been out of contact with this road's sweat for Two [ 02 ] simultaneous posts, the stacks begin to fall off at a rate of Two [ 02 ] per post thereafter. While it's possible that two Fantasy Road rider's may use each other's Corruption stacks, neither would ever gain stacks from any Smell Road rider that is not using this Sub-Road. Corruption stacks also work on the rider's own self. However, when the rider uses tricks, they may choose who to apply it to and consume the required stacks for each individual.

FUSIONROADS

Jack Knife Road
Roads: Rock X Hurricane
Description: The Jack Knife road focuses on two separate concepts that works together in unison for total domination. The first concept is adaptability. Similar to bump up, this road focuses on that mechanic but fluctuate the potential exponentially. With this, the rider can adapt their body and their run physically to key situations turning around what seems be a hopeless situation to a surprising advantage. To put it simply, they can adapt and change their body to fit whatever need they feel is necessary for a battle. For example, a rider who naturally focuses on speed can alter their body and mind temporarily in order to change their body to be more focused on jump and strength if they find themselves in a hurdles battle. These riders focus on pure skill causing them to never truly be at a disadvantage and for scouters to never be able to get a true gauge at what they can do. Many riders have lost parts wars to Jack Knife road riders as they believed they had an overall advantage only to find out this was not the case. But this isn’t where this road truly shines. This adaptability comes into play with the riders new manipulation of the air allowing for not creation, but destruction. This fluidity of the rock road and the natural tunnel vision is what allows for this manipulation of wind to reach the advanced state of hurricane road instead of its precursor wing road. With this, the high intense focus allows for not only the ability to produce hurricane road tricks but the ability to infused cutting wind into their strikes allowing for punches and kicks that produce sonic booms, razor cutting winds, and even blasts of tornadoes. However, is unable to produce protective techniques such as impact dome and other barriers.(Pile Tornado punches for the win!). Hard counters include Rising, Gaia, Jade, Apollon and Over

Evolution: Evolution is a B rank trick that causes the user to adapt their body’s physical traits to the situation at hand. With this, the rider is able to apply a stat change for the battle situation only. This means, if a Rider Read is 300 and has it all in acceleration, but is having a hurdles match, they can switch their stats to 50 acc, 0 strength, 50 stamina, and 200 jump in order to adapt to the parts war. This causes for rider to always not be at a disadvantage. When this move is used, no other move can be used that post and this trick, while not costing stamina, will always take up 1 of the 4 trick slots per post. This trick can only be used once per battle situation. This trick costs stamina once used, then after it becomes passive.

Daisetsu Pride
Roads: Gaia X Rising
Description: A road developed through the training of Ruka and Zane, the road takes the original subroad (Current Road) from Gaia Road and amplifies it with the magnetic presence of Rising road, supercharging the rider's capabilities of magnetism, gravity, and atmospheric tricks. The main mechanic is the fusion of the pzeioelectricity produced along with the little vibrations that come off naturally from the motor and infusing it with the electricity manipulation of rising road. Due to the make up of this road, both Gaia riders and Rising riders can access this subroad..

Resonant Road
Roads: Ring X Gaia
Description: The Resonant Road involves just that: resonance, or reverberation of sound/vibrations in both an offensive and non-offensive manner. It borrows some qualities from the Gaia Road with the use of vibrations and its interaction with the riding surface; however, it branches primarily off from the qualities of Ring Road in its use of sound and rhythm. Using/manipulating sound waves and vibrations to create a sonar-like element, riders can get a vivid sense of their surroundings especially if they can’t quite see everything that is going on. This allows for riding with eyes closed or backwards (and awkwardly stare down the opponent if ahead of them). In a similar aspect, riders can use an offshoot of the Ring Road’s ability to sense the rhythm of other riders to locate and target weak points in both their person and AT’s. To use the road in an offensive manner, one merely has to redirect the use of sounds and vibrations into a more concentrated means. In simplest of forms, this involves using small pulses of sound or tremors to interrupt the proper function of opponents’ AT’s. With intensified force, concentration, and understanding of the road (along with ways to amplify sound/vibrations), these attacks can pack quite an unseen punch with sonic-boom-like results. Keen senses of feeling and hearing are important attributes to riders of the Resonant Road. Understanding and knowledge on the internal workings of both people and AT’s comes in handy, too, and so the Resonant Road is likely appealing to tuners who don’t merely wish to occupy a non-offensive role.

Regalia: Timbre Regalia
The regalia is incorporated into the back wheels of the Air Treks. A mechanism within the rear wheels rotates and reverberates to create varying decibels of sound ranging from a deep hum to a shrill, high-pitch sound almost inaudible to the human ear. It combines noise and vibrations into a concentrated force capable of low, booming quake-like tremors or sharp, cutting sound waves.

Venom Road
Roads: Sonia X Smell
Description: After obtaining a basic level of manipulation of the body's natural ability to produce sweat, the rider mainly focuses on the production of liquid nitrogen. With this, the rider incorporates the nitrogen into their run by not only increasing the nitrogen flow through the body by the normal hyperventilation practices of the sonia road, but also through the lacing of their thorns (by heavy sweat flow from their lower body), with nitrogen in which this road calls "venom" Through this new mechanic called "lacing" the nitrogen output flow heavily below the wast on the legs of the rider. This causes the nitrogen to be launched inside of the thorns that are normally created by sonia riders. This causes the nitrogen to synthesize with the thorn and on impact, seep deep inside their opponent amplifying the internal pain while at the same time disrupting the balance of gases inside the body. While rarely lethal, the method tends to drain stamina fast and knock out opponents as long as the venom road rider can withstand the road itself. When hit, the rider gains a venom stack that applies an consequential effect. This effect increases exponentially if the rider is hit in succession. When riding this road, the trick NitroCushion is replaced with Poisonous Lace.

Poisonous Lace: This technique is the basis of a Venom Road Rider. Using the same method as nitrocusion, the nitrogen absorbed is amplified do to riders new acquired talent of producing excess liquid nitrogen (sweat). With this, the flexibility access is doubled for the rider while causing the nitrogen bubbles to reach a higher amplified state. With this, the thorns of the rider becomes naturally laced with excess nitrogen making the thorns become laced with venom. With this, the thorns become more lethal not only shredding down an opponent but can completely take them out of the fight through their “venom”. Just like a venom deck in magic the gathering, its only a matter of time. With this, All thorns become laced with venom and all thorn techniques are upgraded by +1 Rank without any additional cost to air trek wear. (C rank Thorn would require B rank stamina but not B rank wear. When it comes to the venom stack system, the upgraded thorn applies. Meaning the C rank thorn being boosted to B rank, if hit will drain -3 stamina if it hits the opponent.). This is a D rank trick and costs no wear.

Venom Stack system: Multiplication
C = - 2 stamina 2 posts x 2
B = -3 Stamina 3 posts x 3
A = -4 Stamina 4 posts x 4
S = -5 Stamina 5 posts x 5
Note: If solidly hit back to back posts by the venom thorns, the venom stacks are doubled. A c rank attack on a second post would drain 4 stamina instead of 2. At 3 posts the C rank would drain 6 stamina

Mirage road.
Roads: Apollon x Wing
Description:Taking it traits from Wing and Apollon road, Mirage road is based on seeing and using winds and updrafts for speeding up and increasing rider's own maneuverability and refract light at will making their "time" unlimited or more so allowing for the recovery of time. Although it does provide apollon riders a basic set of wings, it's greatest force is in creating illusions. Achieving high speeds, a rider can 'flitter' in the air from one location to another so fast, that there would be 'traces' left in a form of illusions, or better mirages, which are aimed at misleading and confusing the opponent. The mirages are moving together with rider, copying his movements (both the movements rider is making at the moment and the movements they had made previously, which prevents the opponent from telling which one of the figures is real. However, the distance is limited and the speed a rider has to move in puts a great pressure on their bones and muscles causing for high stamina riders and athletes to be the main practitioners.

Raging Tiger Road
Roads: Fang X Flame
Description: The Raging Tiger road is a Fusion of both the Flame Road and the Fang road, leaving their roads as both bloody and fire trails in its wake. Using the generation of heat from intense speed and friction, the rider causes their wheels to overheat and glowing like a blaze. This is then used in conjunction with the Zero-Max-Zero method, in which the production of the shock wave better known as a “fang” becomes produced by these heated wheels causing the fang to catch a blaze. With this, fangs are infused with major heat, causing a bloody road rider to not only carve but burn their opponents. While the introduction of heat causes less splatter of blood due to the heat making blood dry, the power of this road is more than enough to not mind the absence of such insignificant blood splatter. With this, Fang road rides gain access to the trick Flame! and can use tricks that would normally require a flame and a bloody rider separately by themselves. It is recommended but not necessary that riders of this road acquire a special set of wheels as the stock set of wheels, while effective, wear down easily
