Physical Description: Sunshine bright curly blond hair that is always just a tad too long, with sky-blue eyes and an infectious grin. K'dar stands around 6.1ft with the lean whipcord build of the highly energetic.
Personality: He has a bright and irresistible personality, always smiling and at ease with everyone around him. It is very hard to dislike K'dar, as he is a genuinely friendly and exceptionally social person. There are very few people he dislikes, but of those, folks who abuse other humans or animals are at the top of his list. Something of an idealist and most certainly an optimist, K'dar has an infectious grin and generally lightens the mood of any room he walks into.
However while everyone is his friend, no one really knows K'dar, and only a very few get past the playful prankster's facade to the man underneath. K'dar has a serious side under all the fun and playful banter, a side that is well aware of his place in the weyr and the life and death struggle all riders inherit when they impress. While not ambitious a-dragonback, K'dar has certain hopes for his future, though no idea how to go about it.
Positive Trait List Cheerful, loyal and confident
Negative Trait List Lack of ambition, casual and with the habit of deliberately reinterpreting orders he disagrees with.
History: Comes from a long line of riders, his mother is Kessia of green Talith and his father is ..well, unknown, but he was at least another dragon rider in the weyr. His lack of a father figure has never had much of an impact on K'dar. He was raised in the weyr, saw his mother whenever she came by the classrooms to see him and otherwise had a charmed childhood running round the weyr and playing with any dragon who tolerated the cheerful and highly energetic youth.

Size: 29.5ft
Physical Description: Fit and lean, Korvath is a healthy specimen of his species. Aside from the colour of his hide -ocean blue with paler limbs and a face stripe- he is otherwise absolutely unremarkable, being of a medium length for his colour, with good muscle tone and no extra weight.
Personality: Young, enthusiastic but nervous. Needs his rider's confidence and support to have faith in himself.

Hey Tan!

So it's a good solid start, but his history seems pretty sparse for being 24 Turns old. While I definitely understand not knowing a character, or waiting to see how they do in RP, I'd love if you could at least touch on a few things. Obviously there have been some big events in his life.

When did he Impress his dragon? I see it was 5 Turns ago, but had he been anxious about not Impressing? Did he care? Did he go into Hatchings just because it was something to do or did he have a passion for it?

Does he have any foster-siblings or half-siblings through Kessia?

How did he fee when Threadfall returned? It was just under a Turn ago IRL so it's pretty recent. Did anyone in his family die from it, was he or has he been wounded since Western has begun drilling?

Has he had any relationships with any one, be it close friendships, enemies, lovers?

Has he had any desire on finding out who his father is?

Does he have any hobbies? Before Thread returned, dragon riders were still expected to work for their marks, since tithing wasn't really happening. Did he have a craft or interest in a craft?

Just some things to think about to maybe fluff out his history. I'm not asking for a novel, honest, but think a little bit more about those big life events would be good to know. Then he should be good to go!
