___❖ D e m o n S y s t e m:
How exactly the demons work.

• Bijuu will be given out to each village. There will be 2 per village, resulting in a single village only having 1.
○ Bijuu can be sealed in anyone, but the success of the sealing is mostly random unless specific exceptions are granted by the Demon Head.
• Before a Bijuu can be sealed, the Village leader must council the Demon Head crew and Guild Captain.
○ Bijuu have 1000 Chakra and Stamina for each tail they have, except for the Kyuubi, which has 20000 Chakra due to being an embodiment thereof. All techniques they use at their full size have their effects scaled up to a comparable size.
• A single guild member cannot have both of their characters as demon hosts.
○ When a demon host dies, the demon will die as well and form again later.
• Demons are not mindless, and will act based on past experiences. If a host treats the beast poorly, it will be more likely to try to usurp power or refuse to aid the host.
○ Demons can communicate telepathically with each other, though this can be interrupted by seals. They can grant access to this ability to their Jinchuuriki if the final stage is mastered and the two are on good terms.


___❖ D e m o n R u l e s:
Rules for both demon and host.
• Bijuu cannot be traded or given away without appropriate backlash for the character's involved, including resealing and the potential death of the original host.
○ Kekkei Genkai cannot be activated while in a state of activation above stage one.
• You must train your Bijuu in order for it to give its main benefits. Active benefits are only granted while in a certain stage of activation.
○ If you create a new RPC to host a Bijuu, the RPC does not know it is a host.
• If a sealing technique or host is not strong enough to contain the demon, the demon breaks free and the host is killed.
○ If a sealing technique is too strong, it will cut off all access to the demon's Chakra and prevent training in, and activation of, stages above the dormant stage.
• The Demon Mods are able to roleplay as any demon, including things such as dialogue with the demon if the host desires it.
○ Official judgments on the relationship between the host and beast come down to a judgment of their shared past and the demon's personal experiences.
• Demons can channel Natural Energy for their hosts via Ryousei no Jutsu. The Kyuubi does so at three times the normal rate.
○ After mastering a stage, Demon Jutsu of the appropriate level become available for learning, and take a number of posts equal to a Ninjutsu of the same rank to learn. If the Bijuu is in control, the techniques can be used forcibly.

The maximum duration you can stay in each demon form. All limits are doubled if on good terms with the demon and the stage in question is mastered.

• Dormant Stage: Maximum usage - None.
○ Awaken Stage: Maximum usage – 10 of the user’s posts. Anything after this will result in exhaustion.
• Partial-Miniaturization Stage: Maximum usage – 8 of the user’s posts. Anything after this will result in a blackout.
○ Half-Miniaturization Stage: Maximum usage – 6 of the user’s posts. Anything after this will result in death.
• Miniature Demon Stage: Maximum usage – 4 of the user’s posts. Anything after this will result in death.
○ Demon Form Stage: Maximum usage – 2 of the user’s posts. Anything after this will result in death.
• Stage Retraining: Once the final stage of training has been mastered, each stage may be retrained to increase its maximum duration by two posts. This training can be performed thrice per stage. There can be no learning reductions for this retraining, regardless of source.

General descriptions for each stage of demon power, and the amount of training needed for mastery.

___Dormant Stage [ 0 ]
To Master: 4 Posts. (Please remember; 3-4 sentences is considered one post.)
Training Style: Attempting communication with the demon.
Description: The dormant stage, which overlies all passive abilities which a demon can grant, is the first stage which needs to be mastered. This training only grants mastery over the passive manipulations of your demon. Unlike first stage training, the host will call out to the demon, rather than conversing with it.

___Awoken Stage [ 1 ]
To Master: 6 Posts. (Please remember; 3-4 sentences are considered one post.)
Training Style: Communicating with the demon during normal ninja training.
Description: The very first step to training a demon is for the host to figure out what demon is sealed away! The easiest way for this to happen is for the host to be flung into a dire situation, be it mental or physical stress. When they have been brought to this state of danger, the demon will speak to them. Stronger demons will often mock the host, whereas weaker ones may sympathize. Either way, after this revelation, the host and demon can communicate freely.

___Partial-Miniaturization Stage [ 2 ]
To Master: 8 Posts. (Please remember; 3-4 sentences are considered one post.)
Training Style: Typical ninja training using demon's Chakra.
Description: During this stage, the demon needs to allow its Chakra to leak to the host- Granting a marginal boost in the host's abilities. The demon's Chakra will wrap a "cloak" of Chakra around the host, simply meaning that this stage is easily detectable by the normal eye. Without training, this stage is only accessible when the host is in a life or death situation, or whenever the demon makes a grab at power.

___Half-Miniaturization Stage [ 3 ]
To Master: 10 Posts. (Please remember; 3-4 sentences are considered one post.)
Training Style: Ninja training using demon skin.
Description: During this stage, the Chakra that the demon was previously feeding to the host begins to come at a faster and richer pace. No longer leaking out in an aura, the Chakra will mold and bend around the host- forming a Chakra skin of the corresponding demon. If the host is still losing their life or death battle during stage two, the third form will be triggered. Without training, the user has almost no control, becoming a feral beast that can barely tell the difference between friend and foe.

___Miniature Demon Stage [ 4 ]
To Master: 12 Posts. (Please remember, 3-4 sentences are considered one post.)
Training Style: Ninja training while in fusion form.
Description: This stage, commonly referred to as "Mini-Demon Form", can only be achieved once stage three has been mastered. Similar to the third stage, the host will become overwhelmed with demonic Chakra which twirls and radiates around his or her body. The host quickly loses control and his or her body takes on the demon's shape without its size, and begins going on a rampage; from here, the host must fight and regain control over the body, or risk having the demon fully manifest.

___Demon Power Stage [ 5 ]
To Master: 14 Posts. (Please remember, 3-4 sentences are considered one post.)
Training Style: Ninja training while in fusion form.
Description: This stage, commonly referred to as "Demon Form", can only be achieved once the host has given up his or her body to the demon and then taken control of the body once more. Similar to the fourth stage, the host will become overwhelmed with demonic Chakra which twirls and radiates around their body. However, rather than losing control and allowing the Chakra skin to expand, the host and demon strike a bargain- Allowing the host to take on a form which perfectly resembles their tailed beast. While in this unison, the host has complete usage of the demon's abilities, the two trusting one another in order to assure survival.


___❖ D e m o n J u t s u:
Techniques that all demons have access to. Hosts can use these techniques while under the influence of the demon in stage two or higher.
Tailed Beast Chakra Arms

Creates arms out of demonic Chakra that can extend up to twenty meters. These arms can interact with objects as the Bijuu's normal appendages can and have all of the Bijuu's normal strength. If used by a host, the arms become those of the host. Last for two of the user's posts, with an upkeep cost of 20 Chakra for every post thereafter.

Chakra Transfer Technique

This technique allows the user to transfer Chakra to another person. Once, the user transfers the Chakra, he/she is able to manipulate that Chakra remotely. All people with whom the user shares Chakra in this way are affected by techniques that target a certain Chakra signature. This can be used to give other people access to demonic Chakra.

Bijuu Dama [ Tailed Beast Ball ]

The Tailed Beast Ball is the ultimate technique of a tailed beast and its jinchūriki. To form the attack, they gather both positive black chakra and negative white chakra, then shape it into a sphere. The black and white chakra needs to be balanced at an 8:2 ratio respectively or it will backfire. The ball can be fired differently, either in sphere form--which can be detonated for a wave explosion--launched to form a dome-shaped blast which flattens and erases everything around it, or as a concentrated beam of energy which gives it explosive penetrative power. A Tailed Beast Ball is incredibly dense, as when Naruto Uzumaki in his four-tailed form created one, the ground around him sunk beneath his weight after he swallowed it. When used in close proximity to other tailed beasts performing the technique, the Tailed Beast Balls can be combined, vastly increasing the attack's destructive power and size. Despite its density, the Tailed Beast Ball is extremely fast when launched, able to cross an entire sea in a few seconds. All Bijuu can charge and fire a basic Tailed Beast Ball in one post, but also have a secondary version listed in their technique lists which have varying properties and take one full post to charge unless otherwise specified. The basic Tailed Beast Ball can wipe out an area the size of a small Village, but will also tire out the user for two posts after it is fired, slowing him/her drastically.

Renzoku Bijuu Dama [ Continuous Tailed Beast Balls ]

The tailed beast or transformed jinchūriki fires multiple uncompressed Tailed Beast Balls in rapid succession at the opponent. These Tailed Beast Balls lack the pure destructive force of their other versions, causing explosions only one tenth the size of the normal version, but can be fired in rapid succession without any charge time. Fires up to three balls per activation.

Shinsō Shinri [ Tailed Beast Psyche Plain ]

An innate skill possessed by all the tailed beasts, which allows them to communicate with one another without speaking. They have several plains to their subconscious minds known as the Mental World (精神世界, Seishin Sekai). It is accessible for all tailed beasts and their respective jinchūriki if the beast so wishes, however, it requires a jinchūriki and their tailed beast to be fully linked to gain access to the deeper plains. Furthermore, it is impossible for influences from the outside to reach this plain, even if the tailed beasts are being controlled.

Tailed Beast Shockwave

A tailed beast uses its massive Chakra reserve to turn anything from a roar or a wave into a powerful force of pressure and destruction. An E-Rank shockwave has a range of two meters, with an additional meter of range added for every rank beyond that. Shockwaves can disrupt, redirect, or otherwise overpower other techniques and structures of its rank or lower, and the Chakra involved will glow more intensely with each additional rank. S-Rank shockwaves look like directed Chakra explosions to the untrained eye. Shockwaves take up an entire post for their usage, but are launched at the beginning of the post and dissipate at the end. Sizes are given for Jinchuuriki.

Tailed Beast Switch

If a seal has been loosened or is otherwise too weak to contain a demon, or if the host's willpower wanes, the Bijuu can forcibly assume control of the body if it does not want to escape. Similarly, the host can voluntarily allow the Bijuu control over the body, though living through this is a problem if the two are not on good terms.

D e s c r i p t i o n:
___In the anime series this demon has been shown through Gaara. The demon's look is that of a one tailed tanuki- which resembles a typical raccoon. It boasts a dark beige skin tone, dark blue markings, a long tail, and a well sized stomach. This demon controls the sands of the deserts and the wind of the world, usually combining both to make protection techniques it calls “the ultimate defense.” Past hosts were known to have some of the physical qualities of the demon itself- such as black rings around both of their eyes, or dark blue marks on limbs. The host's attitude also changes; a profound increase in more cynical laughter and a tendency for solitude are common, reflecting the Bijuu’s cunning attitude. Hosts typically carry an object, usually a bottle or gourd, which is capable of containing the Ichibi's sand.
___Shukaku himself can use Fuuton techniques alongside his usual sand techniques at Bijuu scales. He learns and can use one Fuuton technique his host knows per the host’s rank, can naturally expand his chest beyond normal limits, and has a knack for projectile Ninjutsu. If the host does not have Fuuton, he knows Renkuudan [ Drilling Air Bullet ] and Sasandan [ Sand Scattering Bullets ], which is listed below under stage six.

D e m o n S t a g e s:
___Dormant Stage [0]
The passive stage- this stage and its effects are always present. Demon activity can only be noticed by the host. Shukaku will do all in his power to protect the host, manipulating sand from the host's canister to protect them from small to medium attacks and/or thrown objects, no matter who initiates said assault. It is for this reason that Shukaku is known as the "Demon of Ultimate Defense."
_Basic Effects: ( Without mastery. )
• Passive Chakra boost: +20 Chakra.
• Shukaku will protect the host with Shield of Sand no matter the host's desire.
• Forced into periods of sleeplessness.
_Advanced Effects: ( After mastery. Basic effects overridden. )

• Shukaku will protect host with Shield of Sand if they cannot react. Costs [10] additional Chakra for unconscious usage.

___Awoken Stage [1]
The first usage of the Ichibi's Chakra. This and all stages beyond it are activated / sustained stages. Atop making use of the demon's Chakra, the host will also gain certain characteristics, such as: dark outlines around both eyes, slight growth in carnivorous teeth, and partial lengthening of the ears. Because Shukaku's Chakra is now more freely flowing throughout the host, it will generate sand patches on the user's body to lighten impact and slash damage ( however, this is very weak compared to the Armor of Sand technique. )
_Basic Effects: ( Without mastery. )
• Active Chakra increase: +5 Chakra ( Per ninja rank. )
• Sand patches appear on the host's body to absorb moderate physical damage if shield fails. Costs [15] Chakra. ( No choice. )

___Partial-Miniaturization Stage [2]
The host will continue to draw out the Ichibi's Chakra, taking on more of its traits, and getting more of its powers. The sand that previously appeared in patches now wraps around the torso to form a medium-weight protective armor, and also coils near the rear to form a small imitation of the demon's tail. Additionally, the sand that was once utterly blank now bares the dark markings seen on Shukaku's skin. Although this form gives the host a good boost in defense, it cripples movement if they are not used to the weight of the sand.

• Sand lines host's torso to form weighted armor.
• Sand forms at host's rear to form four (4') foot scaled tail.

___Half-Miniaturization Stage [3]
The dark blue marked sand that was previously encasing the torso spreads to the host's dominant arm, part of the face, and also furthers the length and size of the false tail. With these new alterations, along with the continual increase in Chakra, the host begins to greatly resemble the Shukaku. These new sand limbs can be stretched and manipulated as if normal demon sand. Unlike the previous stage, the host should now be used to the weight brought on by wearing the sand, in fact being able to use such weight to their advantage.

• Sand lines host's dominant arm, providing adaptable and manipulable offense.

___Miniature Demon Stage [4]
The host will allow Shukaku's sand to absorb almost all of their body, leaving only the legs revealed for movement purposes. Facial features become utterly feral, both arms take on the demon's shape, and the tail finishes forming. In this stage the host's physical capabilities are increased, and thanks to the Chakra support, there are almost no repercussions. Additionally, like the previous few stages, the limbs and tail of the mini-Shukaku can stretch and otherwise be manipulated like sand. The weak point of this stage, however, is the host's revealed legs.
_Basic Effects: ( Without mastery. )

• Host becomes miniature sand Shukaku with adaptable arms and tail.

___Demon Power Stage [5]
Basic: The host utterly surrenders to their desire to live/have power, giving full control of their body to the Ichibi. During this stage, the demon itself will emerge in full form, although it is still directly tied to the host. For a short amount of time, Shukaku will be free to use its power in order to fight for the host, and thusly itself. Whence this window of time has closed, the host will have to regain control of the demon no matter what. If they decide not to, the Ichibi will retain in its full form, and the host will never be able to regain consciousness or their body- essentially dead.
Advanced: The host, having survived giving up their body to the Ichibi, has dealt with incredible amounts demon Chakra. During this stage, the host will attempt to tap into Shukaku's power without giving up his own body. Through collaboration with the demon, the two have come up with a way to keep one another alive. Once more, sand is wrapped around the host, however, rather than melding into Shukaku's form, the sand will mold to the host's figure. By taking on this shape, the host will be able to fight with a much more comfortable range of movement, while still obtaining the benefits of Shukaku's Chakra.
Reminder: Both basic and advanced forms of stage five [5] can be used after it is mastered, though they have different restrictions.

• Sand perfectly lines the host's entire body, forming a skin. Allows adaptable and manipulable offense and defense.
• Chakra flickers off of body like circular specks of sand in the wind.
• Sand becomes denser, increasing its durability and strength.
• Physical strength, defense, and speed greatly increased.
• Vastness of the Desert (Passive Attribute): At the host's discretion, all defensive techniques (including seals) can be raised in strength by one rank, so long as Shukaku agrees to pay half the cost of the technique.

Suna Soushi no Jutsu [ Sand Creation Technique ]

The process of breaking down earth and other such materials into sand for storage or other techniques. Costs a D-Rank amount of Chakra and converts one square meter of rock into sand for each post of activation.

Sabure Tama [ Sand Bullet ]

The host forms a small sphere made of sand and compresses it into their hand to increase its hardness. The sphere can strike opponents with such speed and force that it knocks them unconscious.

Suna no Tate [ Shield of Sand ]

Whenever the host is about to come to harm, a shield of sand will automatically surround and protect him. The sand will react regardless of his will, even protecting him from self-inflicted injuries. This is due to the One-Tailed Shukaku's desire to survive. The shield is capable of withstanding considerably strong attacks and projectiles, and can be hardened to a point where it's stronger than steel. It can be defeated by avoiding it entirely with extremely high-speed attacks before it can intercept them, or by merely overcoming the shield with incredible brute force. Blocks up to C-Rank techniques completely and moves at about half the speed of a normal Shunshin. Lasts for four of the user’s posts, with an upkeep cost of five Chakra per post afterward.

___Level one [1] techniques:
Tanukineiri no Jutsu [ Feigning Sleep Technique ]

Tanukineiri no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that allows Gaara to take full advantage of incarnation of sand. After being possessed by the Shukaku spirit, Gaara loses control of his body and personality to the demon when he sleeps. Normally as the medium, Gaara does not sleep to try and retain control over himself and the spirit. This limits the true power of Shukaku. However, if he wishes to allow Shukaku to emerge and obtain full control, he can use this technique to place himself into a temporary sleep. To end the sleep, a strong knock to the medium will wake them and end the control of the spirit.

Daisan no Me [ Third Eye ]

Using Chakra, the host connects a sand-made eye to his optic nerve, which enables him to know what happens in the sand eye's field of vision. This is genuinely a third eye for its user. One can control the size of the eye depending on its use. Its main purpose is spying, since it can form and disperse in any location on command, given the presence of sand. Has an upkeep cost of five Chakra for every two posts of activation after the first one.

Suna Bunshin no Jutsu [ Sand Clone Technique ]

The Sand Clone is different from the other types of clone techniques in that the sand does not completely assume the form of the user, but remains as sand the entire time. That is to say, the clone's form can be changed instantly into sand, and the enemy's body can be trapped. Its many applications with long-range attacks can have it act as a lure and a decoy. This is where it draws the line with other clones. ( User can spend [10] Chakra per post to manipulate the sand clone after its construction. )

Suna Shigure [ Sand Drizzle ]

After clotting together sand into countless small lumps, the host uses them to attack an enemy from every direction. Because all the sand lumps are controlled by Chakra, it is possible to commence an attack with almost zero blind spots. This technique is often used as lure in battle, distracting an opponent and leaving them vulnerable to an attack from below. The rain covers an area up to five meters in radius and can cause severe bruising and moderate injury to all in its radius. Sand can be made to cling to targets for an additional 20 Chakra at activation. Lasts for three of the user’s posts, after which an upkeep cost of 10 Chakra per post is necessary.

___Level two [2] techniques:
Suna no Yoroi [ Armor of Sand ]

With this jutsu, the host can cover himself in a compacted layer of sand, providing an additional defense should other protective measures fail. Though quite effective, maintaining the armor requires a large amount of Chakra and stamina. Furthermore, it is nowhere as resilient as the Shield of Sand, since it easily breaks away upon impact, meaning that the sole purpose of the armor is to absorb impact channeled unto the host's body during battle. Another weakness is the additional weight of the sand means a decrease of speed and mobility. Lasts for two of the user’s posts, with an upkeep cost of 10 Chakra for every post following.

Sabaku Kyuu [ Sand Binding Coffin ]

With his ability to control sand, the host encases his opponent(s) in a large amount of the Shukaku's special sand, immobilizing them. It can be used to suffocate an opponent or be used as preparation for a deadlier technique, the Sand Waterfall Funeral. Can be overcome by techniques A-Rank or higher.

Sabaku Sousou [ Sand Waterfall Funeral ]

After wrapping an opponent with sand with either Sand Binding Coffin or Sand Drizzle, the host will cause the sand to implode and crush whatever is within it. According to various sources, when used to kill a person, the death is so quick that there isn't even time for the victim to feel any pain. The pressure also produces a sizable fountain of blood. One can control the pressure used in the attack, which allows either the breaking of bones or complete liquefaction of an opponent.

Suna Shuriken [ Sand Shuriken ]

While some form of sand is wrapped around the host's arms, he will clot and compose compact "shuriken" from said sand. The host will then swing their arms, using the force to propel the projectiles with incredible speed. Shukaku no Tate is a Ninjutsu technique said to be Gaara's Saikou Zettai Bougyo (Supreme Absolute Defense). To stop an incoming attack, Gaara will mainfest a small form of the Shukaku demon out of sand. Gaara collects extremely solid minerals from underground and mixes them into his sand using pressure from his Chakra. This creates a very strong defensive barrier that can block techniques up to one rank above its own. Requires an upkeep of half the initial activation cost for every post beyond the first post of activation, with a minimum upkeep of 5 Chakra.

Rendan: Suna Shigure [ Successive Shots: Sand Drizzle ]

A powered up version of the typical Sand Drizzle. Using additional Chakra and sand, the lumps previously used become super compact sand bullets capable of breaking bones. Is applied once during the effect of Sand Drizzle and is considered active as long as the same Sand Drizzle remains active.

Suna no Tama [ Sphere of Sand ]

Used while Shield of Sand is active. The host surrounds himself with his Shield of Sand to guard against attacks. He then uses the Third Eye to watch his opponents' movements and control sand as necessary to battle them. In addition to being extremely dense, this sand-sphere can form spikes from its surface to spear any would-be attacker. This technique can also be used in mid-air. Just as the Shield of Sand, however, forces strong and concentrated enough can pierce the sphere; B-Rank techniques can break through with some ease, provided they can reach the sphere’s surface.

Shukaku no Hoko [ Halberd of Shukaku ]

Shukaku no Hoko is a Ninjutsu technique said to be Gaara's Saikou Zettai Kougeki (Supreme Absolute Attack). Gaara collects extremely solid minerals and mixes them into his sand using pressure from his Chakra. This creates a very strong and hard Shukaku-like halberd which he can then throw. The strength of the material allows it to penetrate strong defenses up to its own rank.

Gokusa Maisou [ Prison Sand Burial ]

Using his ability to manipulate sand, the host will loosen the ground below his targets and cause them to sink two hundred meters into the earth. By being imprisoned at this depth, the pressure will completely nullify their ability to move. Also, the pressure resulting from being buried at such an extreme depth would surely kill any normal human, if not from suffocation, the fact that all their bones would break. Unfortunately, this technique takes some time (1 post) to fully take effect after activation.

Sabaku Rou [ Sand Binding Prison ]

A capturing ninjutsu that is a major characteristic to Shukaku's host. Using ordinary sand, a perfectly airtight space is created, in which the enemy is captured. An enormous quantity of sand completely envelops the target from every direction in order to capture them. The durability and size of the prison depend on the amount of Chakra poured into it. One can fine-tune the sand's properties to the target's size and properties, with a person-sized target costing C-Rank to contain. No matter if the target is on the ground or flying in the air, it is almost impossible to escape from this technique.

Sabaku Sōtaisō [ Desert Layered Imperial Funeral ]

Using a large quantity of sand, Gaara covers the enemy with several successive layers of the material, before compressing it into the form of a huge pyramid which acts to imprison the target upon its completion. Using Shukaku's chakra along with this technique increases the strength of the binding and sealing power, as Gaara rued the fact that he needed Shukaku's aid in using this to seal Madara Uchiha. Requires the activation of an S-Rank technique to disrupt the sand from within. Lasts for five of the user’s posts, but becomes permanent with the addition of Sabaku Sōtaisō Fūin [ Desert Layered Imperial Funeral Seal ].

Suna no Kanchi [ Sand Sensing ]

A contact type (接触タイプ, Sesshoku Taipu) of sensing. By dispersing a significant quantity of specialized sand in a targeted area, the user is able to discern the presence of any enemy coming into direct contact with the sand in question. If this substance is spread upon appropriately textured and colored terrain, it becomes almost impossible to detect by simply its appearance alone. Covers an area one hundred meters in radius and lasts for three of the user’s posts, after which there is an upkeep cost of 10 Chakra per post.

Kuusa Bouheki [ Sky Sand Protective Wall ]

Kuusa Bouheki is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Gaara. Using his ability to levitate sand, Gaara will form a large protective wall to block incoming attacks, such as explosions. Because of the large amount of sand involved, the jutsu drains a lot of Chakra. Can block Village-sized assaults up to A-Rank in power. Lasts for five of the user’s posts, with an upkeep cost of 40 Chakra for every post afterward.

Suna Raishin [ Sand Lightning Needles ]

Suna Raishin is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Gaara. Gaara will hurl sand into the air which will come down around his target as hard pikes. Electricity will be generated from the pikes to arc towards and attack his opponent. This technique will neutralize electricity-based techniques up to A-Rank. Lasts for five of the user’s posts.

Sabaku Taisou [ Sand Waterfall Imperial Funeral ]

Following the Quicksand Waterfall Flow technique, the host slams both hands palm down into the sand, creating powerful shock waves that compress the sand. Anything buried in the sand is subsequently crushed. The compressions also create massive earthquakes. Can be used in any landscape covered in sand. Affects an area up to twenty meters across.

Sabaku Sōtaisō Fūin [ Desert Layered Imperial Funeral Seal ]

Using its own sand-body as a medium, Shukaku first covers its opponent in layers of sand, which forms into a step pyramid. The intricate markings on the tanuki's body then serve as an interlocking cursed seal, which when completed, traps the captive. This seal completely restricts movement and the usage of Chakra within its boundaries, and will shrink Shukaku to half his size until he is able to make enough sand to replace that which was lost. Takes one of the user’s posts to set up and activate.

Suna no Mayu [ Cocoon of Sand ]

Suna no Mayu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Gaara. It serves as one of Gaara's absolute defenses. After forming the needed hand seals, a sphere of sand will surround his body. This sand cocoon is made as a defensive measure and is also made to allow Gaara to enter into his Shukaku state. While in the cocoon Gaara will use the Daisan no Me (Third Eye) to view his opponent and the surrounding battlefield.

Ryousa Bakuryou [ Quicksand Waterfall Flow ]

This jutsu sends a massive amount of sand towards an opponent in the form of a wave, covering and "drowning" them in an ocean of sand. In addition to the wave effect of the Jutsu, the host can control the sand, allowing him to attack his opponent while they attempt to outrun the wave. It was once shown that the technique can be so powerful as to change the landscape, turning acres of forest into nothing but a desert with occasional broken trees. This appears to be the only sand based demon technique that requires hand seals, and in practice is virtually unavoidable. It is usually followed by an area crushing technique to kill the opponent. Coats an area up to twenty meters across in sand up to four meters deep.

Fuuton: Sasandan [ Wind Release: Sand Scattering Bullets ]

After Gaara forms numerous sand bullets, Shukaku expels a giant gust of wind from its stomach to increase the force of the bullets. This attack is powerful enough to pierce through flesh with ease. An additional benefit of this attack is that Gaara can then use any of the sand left in his target's bloodstream to immobilize them, leaving them vulnerable to follow up attacks. This can be used to redirect and vastly increase the speed and penetrating power of any projectiles in the blast, which covers an area twenty meters across starting at the user’s mouth.

D e s c r i p t i o n:
___In the anime series this demon has been shown through Yugito Nii. The demon's look is that of a two-tailed cat. It is constantly shrouded in a dark blue spectral flame; this flame quickly burns Chakra entities in addition to functioning as a normal flame would. The Bakeneko has a green eye—which gazes in to the dreams of sleepers—and a yellow eye—which gazes upon the physical world. It also has two long tails, large, sharp fangs, and claws. This demon controls the fires of the world and can influence the dream world, wherein it makes its home. Past hosts were known to have some of the physical qualities of the demon itself: many were slender and agile, and almost all past hosts kept their hair long. Should the Nibi influence its host’s personality, the host will tend to be much more aggressive than normal Shinobi, though they are also typically lazier and, paradoxically, more polite, much like the demon. Hosts usually wear a Japa Mala around one arm to symbolize their connection with the demon.
___Matatabi herself has working knowledge of Katon techniques. If the host knows Katon techniques, then she will know the same ones and be able to use them on the scale of a Bijuu. If not bound to a host with an elemental affinity for Katon, the host can study and have the demon learn one Katon Jutsu per rank, up to the host’s rank, but only if the two are on good terms.

___Dormant Stage [0]
The passive stage: This stage and its effects are always present. Demon activity can only be noticed by the host. The Nibi will protect the host by increasing his or her speed. However, this boosted speed does not decrease the host’s reaction time.

• Spectral Fire: When using the Nibi’s techniques, they can be formed in such a way as to incorporate the beast’s fire. This only affects techniques with a physical component, so techniques like Genjutsu remain unaffected. This fire is treated the same as Fire Element techniques, after accounting for the Chakra disrupting effects.

In addition to making use of the demon's Chakra, the host will also gain certain characteristics, such as: strengthening of nails, slight sharpening of the teeth, and slightly increased strength. Because the Nibi's Chakra is now more freely flowing throughout the host, it will generate small, weak patches of spectral fire on the user's body to deal damage to physical attackers. This fire does not hurt the host.

The host will continue to draw out the Nibi's Chakra, taking on more of its traits and getting more of its powers. The fire that previously appeared in patches now covers the back, arms, and legs of the host, and also coils near the rear to form a small imitation of the demon's first tail. Additionally, the flames darken and take on a hue similar to the Nibi’s true form. In this form, the host gains a boost to his or her foot speed; however, if the host has not trained in this state, he or she will risk tearing of muscles, breaking bones, etc. Due to the shift in the concentration of Chakra to the legs, physical strength is also lowered.

With these new alterations, along with the continual increase in Chakra, the host begins to greatly resemble the Nibi. The fire coating the host’s hands and feet forms claws that afford the host increased grip; because of this, running on walls and holding on to opponents becomes simple. Unlike the previous stage, the host’s Chakra should now have evened out, bringing his or her strength up to match his or her foot speed.

Facial features become feline, the limbs take on the demon's shape, fangs and claws lengthen and sharpen, and the second tail begins to form. In this stage the host's physical capabilities are increased, and thanks to the Chakra support, there are almost no repercussions. Additionally, the intensity of the flames increases to the point where water boils upon coming in to contact with the host. The weak point of this stage, however, is the host's human skin.

___Demon Power Stage [5]
Basic: The host utterly surrenders to their desire for life/power, giving full control of their body to the Nibi. During this stage, the demon itself will emerge in full form, although it is still directly tied to the host. For a short amount of time, Matatabi will be free to use its power in order to fight for the host, and by association itself. Once this window of time has closed, the host will have to regain control of the demon no matter what. If they decide not to or fail to do so, the Nibi will retain in its full form, and the host will never be able to regain consciousness or their body- essentially dead.
Advanced: The host, having survived giving up their body to the Nibi, has dealt with incredible amounts demonic Chakra. During this stage, the host will attempt to tap into Matatabi's power without giving up his or her own body. Through collaboration with the demon, the two have come up with a way to keep one another alive. Once more, fire is wrapped around the host; however, rather than melding into Matatabi's form, the fire will mold to the host's figure. By taking on this shape, the host will be able to fight with a much more comfortable range of movement, while still obtaining the benefits of Matatabi's Chakra.
Reminder: Both basic and advanced forms of stage five [5] can be used after it is mastered, though they have different restrictions.

The user extends spectral fire to the fingers and creates claws out of it. The claws are capable of defending against blunt weapons, and can leave burns on the enemy’s skin if it makes contact with the enemy. Lasts for three of the user’s posts.

Kugi no Jutsu [ Nail Technique ]

The user flares the Chakra in the patches of spectral fire on his or her body, causing them to suddenly extend outward by five feet and skewer anything that they touch. The flames cause minor burns to clothing and flesh in addition to interrupting the molding of Chakra for techniques C-Rank and lower.

Hoshokusha no Jutsu [ Predator Technique ]

Increases the user’s feelings of aggression while coating his or her feet in spectral flames. The flames will spread across another entity very quickly after they come in to contact with it, and burn for three of the affected character’s posts.

Hitodama no Jutsu [ Corpse Fire Technique ]

The user forms preexisting fires in to floating orbs of spectral flame. Following that, the user can launch them at the opponent or simply let them hang in the air. The strength of the spectral flames is directly related to the intensity of the original fire. Orbs disappear after five of the user’s posts.

Houka no Waza [ Art of Setting Fires ]

The user flicks a small ball of spectral fire at the target. When the ball hits, it spreads a short distance around the object that it has struck and burns hotly for one post. This technique is used mostly to disrupt Chakra forms.

Higuchi no Jutsu [ Flaming Maw Technique ]

The user creates a spectral flame in his or her hand and throws it at a target. After hitting, the flame climbs up a target without moving outward. The fire will continue to grow in height even after it has reached the top of the target. The fire can serve as a beacon for allies or other attacks and will act like normal fire after five posts.

Fuanshin no Jutsu [ Uncertainty Technique ]

The user flicks his or her tail at a target quickly, intending to strike or envelop the target with the tail. In addition to this, the tail leaves a streak of spectral fire in the air for two of the user’s posts afterward along its path, providing a constant danger to the other Shinobi in the area.

Honoo no Tate [ Blaze Shield ]

Creates a ring of spectral flame around the crown of the head. When the user is threatened, he or she can cause the ring to balloon outward and form a shield that covers the user. The shield is capable of blocking techniques B-Rank or lower.

Waregane no Jutsu [ Cracked Bell Technique ]
Rank A
The user builds up Chakra in the palms of his or her hands, and then slams them in to the ground. The ground then cracks and spectral flames billow forth from the cracks, shooting upward and heating the area quickly. The flames burn hotly for five of the user’s posts before fading.

___Level four [4] techniques:
Toraneko no Jutsu [ Ocelot Technique ]
Rank B
The user distributes Chakra through his or her limbs and uses it to boost all physical stats for a short time. While under the influence of this technique, incredible feats of athleticism become possible, such as jumping hundreds of feet in the air. Lasts for four of the user’s posts.

Chousan no Jutsu [ Paper Lantern Technique ]
Rank A
The user molds a cube out of the spectral flame. The cube is capable of floating on water and gives off a bright light. When it comes in to contact with another technique or something solid, it explodes and coats everything in a ten meter radius with spectral flames. The flames spread quickly and are capable of burning away the Chakra of anyone who is unlucky enough to be caught in the blaze. Spectral flames become regular flames after burning away an appropriate amount of Chakra.

Funakaji no Jutsu [ Fire aboard Ship Technique ]
Rank A
Creates a field of spectral flame of radius 10 meters around the user. This field follows the user wherever he or she goes, and while the spectral flames do not spread, the fires they cause do. Lasts for five of the user’s posts.

___Level five [5] techniques:
Nijuushin no Jutsu [ Doppelganger Technique ]
Rank B
The user flicks his or her tails at a target. If the target catches fire, even for a brief moment, the fire grows in to a clone of that person and continues to fight for the Nibi. The Doppelganger can be dispersed by a lethal strike to the head or chest and functions as a clone created by the user, though it uses the target’s abilities.

Gotokuneko [ Cat of Five Virtues ]

The user exhales a large wall of spectral fire that burns brightly. If this technique ignites anything, then small kittens made of spectral fire start spawning from the blaze, and continue to do so until it is extinguished at a rate of two per user’s post. The kittens can be operated like solid clones, though they cannot use techniques above C-Rank. If there are already spectral flames present, they may be used to spawn kittens as well. Kittens are one-tenth the size of the user.

Neko no Suzu [ Cat’s Bell ]

The user forms a bell-like attachment for a tail out of spectral flames. The bell lasts for five of the user’s posts and decreases the cost of all demonic techniques by 20 Chakra, to a minimum of 5 Chakra.

Bakeneko no Jutsu [ Demon Cat Technique ]

This is the Nibi’s version of the Tailed Beast Bomb. It begins by gathering a large amount of spectral flame in its mouth, and then fires it in a beam-type attack. The blast blows away most defenses, and coats everything in its path in spectral flames. After using this attack, the Nibi starts to feel sleepy once more and cannot activate techniques above B-Rank for three posts afterward.

___Level six [6] techniques:
Goryou no Jutsu [ Vengeful Departed Spirits Technique ]
Rank B
Creates twenty to thirty floating orbs that hover at random heights about in an area. When a Chakra-containing body other than the user comes within a few meters of an orb, it explodes, coating an area up to a meter around it in spectral flames. The spectral flames then spread out to envelop anything they contact.

Nekomata no Jutsu [ Fork-Tail Demon Cat Technique ]

Changes the Chakra around the user to mimic the form of the Bakeneko without changing the user’s size. This includes the creation of solid fang, claws, and a tail that the user can manipulate at will. Lasts for eight of the user’s posts.

It is covered in a thick shell that is green on every part of the Sanbi’s body except for the underbelly, where it is red; the green shell is incredibly hard and resistant to Chakra of all natures and forms, as is the red shell to a lesser extent. The Sanbi has an injured right eye that it cannot open, although the reasons for this are unknown. It also has three tails that are each longer than the main body and are pointed on their ends, making them viable weapons; large, sharp extensions of the shell that cover most of the face; hands with functioning thumbs; a powerful jaw; and thick, muscular legs. This demon controls the waters of the world and can influence the minds of those around it via illusions. None of the past hosts were known to retain the physical qualities of the demon. Should the demon influence its host’s personality, the host will tend to be incredibly shy, not unlike the demon itself. Hosts typically wear green to symbolize their connection with the demon.
___Isobu has a working knowledge of Suiton techniques as well as Genjutsu. He can use any Suiton techniques and Genjutsu the host knows, and can learn up to one technique of both Suiton and Genjutsu per rank up to the host’s rank if the host does not know any Suiton techniques.

The passive stage: This stage and its effects are always present. Demon activity can only be noticed by the host. Isobu will protect the host by hardening the host’s flesh slightly in order to resist physical attacks and provide a very slight buffer against Ninjutsu.

___Awoken Stage [1]
This is the first usage of the Sanbi's Chakra. This and all stages beyond it are activated / sustained stages. In addition to making use of the demon's Chakra, the host will also gain certain characteristics, such as: hardening of nails, slight strengthening of jaw muscles, and increased stamina. Because Isobu's Chakra is now more freely flowing throughout the host, it will generate small, weak patches of shell on the user's body to protect the host from physical attackers. The shell is effective against both physical attacks and Ninjutsu.

By extending the charge time on a technique by one post, the host is able to use the demon’s Chakra to double the range, duration, or power of the technique. This drains from Isobu an amount of Chakra equal to that paid by the host to activate the technique.

___Partial-Miniaturization Stage [2]
The host will continue to draw out the Sanbi's Chakra, taking on more of its traits and getting more of its powers. The shell that previously appeared in patches now covers the chest, arms, legs, and neck of the host, and also protrudes near the rear to form a small imitation of the demon's first tail. Additionally, the shell on the host’s chest thickens and takes on a dark red hue. In this form, the host gains a boost to his or her swimming speed; however, the host will also become significantly slowed due to the spread of the Sanbi’s shell across his or her body.

With these new alterations, along with the continual increase in Chakra, the host begins to greatly resemble Isobu. The shell coating the host’s arms, legs, and shoulders grows small spikes. Unlike the previous stage, the host’s Chakra should now be able to channel the demon’s Chakra, bringing his or her speed back up to its original levels.

___Miniature Demon Stage [4]
The host will allow Sanbi's thick shell to absorb all of his or her body, leaving only the eyes unchanged. Bodily features become that of the demon: the limbs thicken to withstand the weight of the shell, the spiked protrusions begin to cover the host’s face, the second tail finishes forming and the third tail begins to form. In this stage the host's physical capabilities are increased, and thanks to the Chakra support, there are almost no repercussions. Additionally, the original green shell begins to break up as the spikes grow, coating the host’s back and limbs like heavy armor while the thinner red shell coats the rest of the body. The weak point of this stage, however, is the host's inability to stand on two legs.

___Demon Power Stage [5]
Basic: The host utterly surrenders to their desire for life/power, giving full control of their body to the Sanbi. During this stage, the demon itself will emerge in full form with all three tails formed, although it is still directly tied to the host. For a short amount of time, Isobu will be free to use its power in order to fight for the host, and by association itself. Once this window of time has closed, the host will have to regain control of the demon no matter what. If they decide not to or fail to do so, the Sanbi will retain its full form, and the host will never be able to regain consciousness or their body- essentially dead.
Advanced: The host, having survived giving up their body to the Sanbi, has dealt with incredible amounts demonic Chakra. During this stage, the host will attempt to tap into Isobu's power without giving up his or her own body. Through collaboration with the demon, the two have come up with a way to keep one another alive. Once more, shell is wrapped around the host; however, rather than folding into Isobu’s form, the shell will mold to the host's figure. By taking on this shape, the host will be able to fight with a much more comfortable range of movement, while still obtaining the benefits of Isobu's Chakra.
Reminder: Both basic and advanced forms of stage five [5] can be used after it is mastered, though they have different restrictions.

• Red Shell: Red shell is lighter and affords the wearer resistance to Genjutsu. For hosts not of Genjutsu class, this allows them to use Kai [ Release ] as a member of the Genjutsu class; for members of the Genjutsu class, the requirements for releasing an illusion are treated as one rank lower.
• Green Shell: Green shell is tough and heavy. All projectile attacks are treated as being one quarter as powerful against the wearer and Taijutsu and Bukijutsu are treated as if they were half as powerful. The wearer of this shell cannot use any type of Shunshin or Kawarimi technique, even elemental ones, and only gets two activations per post instead of three.

Uroko Tsuba no Jutsu [ Fish Scale Spitting Technique ]

The user molds demonic Chakra in to thin plates in his or her mouth, and then spits them at great speeds from the mouth. The plates resemble fish scales in shape, but are very sharp and rapidly expand as they fly. The plates disappear three posts after coming to rest, or one post after hitting water. Gosunkugi: Shuuren no Jutsu [ Long Nail: Convergence Technique ]

The user strikes the opponent with a powerful blow, causing a large formation of coral to quickly grow from the initial point of contact. This then rapidly solidifies and restricts the enemy's mobility as the substance continues to grow, eventually covering their entire body. Can be used with any Taijutsu technique or as a standalone attack.

Gosunkugi: Se no Jutsu [ Long Nail: Torrent Technique ]

After this technique is activated, the spikes on the user’s armor shoot outward and branch off in to many smaller spikes. The branching process continues until a hemisphere of spikes surrounds the user, at which point the growth stops and each branch becomes porous coral and begins to pump out large amounts of water at high speeds. Kaimetsuteki Nami [ Catastrophic Wave ]

By feeding a large amount of Chakra in to a large body of water, the host converts it to salt water and causes it to rise up and coat nearby landscapes. After coating the land, the water quickly recedes, dragging all protrusions on the landscape with it. This technique is used to flatten the landscape and soak it through with salt water.

Shukuzu Sanran no Jutsu [ Miniature Copy Spawning Technique ]

The host opens its mouth and allows several miniature versions of the Sanbi to crawl out. The miniatures then chase and attack all creatures in the area other than the host, and are capable of using up to two level three or lower Demon techniques before fading out of existence. Kiri Gensou no Jutsu [ Mist Illusions Technique ]

After expelling a large amount of mist from its mouth, the Sanbi can manipulate the mist to cast illusions on anyone within. The illusions vary from person to person, affecting each in the way that he or she would fear the most. Additionally, the illusions attempt to lead the targets toward traps and other lethal formations, such as cliffs.

Kōro Otoshi [ Shell Tower Falling ]

Isobu (or the host while fully transformed into Isobu) can roll into a ball and bulldoze its opponents, making full use of its many spiky protrusions in a manner similar to the Akimichi clan's Spiked Human Bullet Tank. This maneuver can also be used to escape attacks.

Suisou no Jutsu [ Liquid Transmission Technique ]

Creates a small pocket dimension through which the Sanbi must travel to reach a new body of water. This technique can only be used once per month, and it takes a full 24 hours to reach the destination after the technique is activated. As soon as it is activated, a thick membrane appears around the Sanbi at both the entrance and exit points. If either of these membranes is popped, the technique is canceled and the Sanbi is expelled into the body of water that held it previously. If any foreign bodies enter the pocket dimension with the Sanbi, they are transported in to a maze-like world that is created by shell similar to the Sanbi’s own, in which they will be constantly attacked by miniature Sanbi clones until they either die or escape. Popping the membrane requires an S-Ranked amount of Chakra.

Atsuryokuha [ Pressure Wave ]

The Sanbi’s version of the Bijuu Ball. It focuses its demonic Chakra with its three tails, wraps it in salt water, and launches it at a given target. However, when the ball explodes, the Chakra retains the properties of water, dousing all but the hardiest of fires and drowning the landscape in a quickly-spreading flood.

Kawarou no Jutsu [ Shell Prison Technique ]

The user makes a hand seal and focuses Chakra around the target. Plate-like armor begins to form around the target, encasing him or her in a prison made of the Sanbi’s armor. The armor can be broken by an A-Ranked technique.

The user sheds the shell he or she has created and appears nearby; the transfer is near-immediate and the shell left behind retains all of the techniques that the user cast on himself or herself before the transfer. D e s c r i p t i o n:
___In the anime series this demon has been shown through the character Roushi. The demon's body is that of an enormous, four-tailed ape. It is covered in thick fur that is red on every part of the Yonbi’s body except for the chest, hands and feet, where it has no fur and shows its pale skin; the demon’s body is resistant to blunt damage and large amounts of heat. The Yonbi has the ability to shoot lava from its mouth through an extension of its throat, giving it both offensive and defensive versatility. It has four tails that are each significantly shorter than the main body, making them less mobile but stronger as weapons; two large, dull canine teeth jut from the Yonbi’s upper jaw and end below the lower lip, even when the jaw is fully opened; hands with functioning thumbs; a powerful body; and enormous, muscular arms and legs. This demon controls the lava and magma of the world and can very slightly influence the emotions of those around it. Past hosts were known to reflect the demon’s red coloring in their hair or choice of dress. Should the Yonbi exert its influence over the host’s personality, the host will tend to act arrogantly and question authority, much like the proud beast inside them. Hosts typically wear warm colors to symbolize their connection with the demon.
___Son has an understanding of Doton and Katon techniques, but refuses to use any of them. Due to his pride, he will always refuse to use any techniques that humans have laid claim to, regardless of his relationship with a host. He is not, however, averse to helping out his host, so long as the host holds him in high esteem and acts very respectfully, as he enjoys seeing his own power in action. He prides himself on his prowess with Taijutsu, and enjoys seeing people brawl. He is somewhat interested in how humans use Taijutsu, though he would never use it personally.

The user melts rock and wears it like a second skin. The lava will remain hot for five posts, and can attach to others if they come into contact with it. The user will raise both fists above his or her head and then strike the ground with them. The Yonbi’s version of the Bijuu Ball. The beast gathers a large amount of Chakra in its mouth and fires a ball of condensed Chakra. ___In the anime series this demon has been shown through the character Han. The demon's body is that of an enormous, five-tailed whale-horse covered in thick white fur that waterproofs the body and keeps the demon warm; due to this, the demon is resistant to water and water-based attacks, as well as cold temperatures. In addition to its defensive fur, the Gobi has the ability to use steam to harm its enemies, and uses the steam to double as a secondary defense while attacking. Its five tails are each as long as the main body and are used for balance and, occasionally, as blunt weapons. It has a large, scoop-like mouth that it uses to swallow its prey; muscular, hooved legs; and five large, fin-shaped horns on its head that help it swim when it needs to do so. This demon controls the steam and weather of the world, and is almost constantly surrounded by a storm when not sealed. Past hosts were not known to retain the demon’s physical appearance; however, should the demon exert its influence over the host’s personality, the host will tend to be reclusive and very humble, much like the demon itself. Hosts typically wear concealing clothing to symbolize their connection with the demon and its reclusive attitude.
___Kokuou has a thorough understanding of Suiton and Raiton techniques, but cannot use them; however, she will often let a host know what a Suiton or Raiton technique’s effects are, should the user catch the hand signs. Conversely, she can identify ongoing techniques if the host can see their effects or is given adequate description. Additionally, the fur thickens and takes on a lighter hue closer to the white shade of the demon’s fur. In this form, the host gains a boost to his or her speed; however, the host will also become significantly clumsier due to the increased lengthening of the limbs. The fur that previously coated the limbs and torso now completely covers the host’s body. The second and third tails begin to form as well, following the first quickly. The fur coating the host’s arms, legs, and shoulders grows longer and thicker and the jaw begins to jut out from its normal position. The torso also grows, making it easier to maneuver with the larger limbs. The second and third tails finish forming when the stage is mastered.

A technique which forces all steam, fog, and mist in the area that was created by the host to rapidly expand. Creates a localized hurricane overhead the user. To activate this technique, the user must raise one hand toward the sky and fire a bright ball of Chakra upward. This demon is very kind compared to other demons and does not like to see needless sacrifice; as such, it is considered one of the more agreeable demons, as it does not often try to break free and will even help the host, though neither of these apply if the host is cruel or needlessly violent. Past hosts were not known to retain the demon’s physical appearance. Should the demon exert its influence over the host’s personality, the host will typically become very calm and helpful. Hosts typically wear light blue clothing to symbolize their connection with the demon.
___Saiken is not very familiar with any kind of technique, but can use any Maruton techniques his host knows without forming hand signs. He is baffled by Taijutsu and Bukijutsu, as his body is not suited for any sort of direct combat; any attempts to teach him Taijutsu or Bukijutsu will confuse him enough that he either stops talking to the person trying to teach him, or else starts to rampage.

The passive stage: This stage and its effects are always present. Demon activity can only be noticed by the host. Saiken will not protect the host in case of danger.

___Awoken Stage [1]
This is the first usage of the Rokubi's Chakra. This and all stages beyond it are activated / sustained stages. In addition to making use of the demon's Chakra, the host will also gain certain characteristics, such as: slight swelling of skin on torso, slightly increased strength, and slightly decreased speed. Because Saiken's Chakra is now more freely flowing throughout the host, it will generate small, thin patches of clear slime on the host's body. The slime has no strong corrosive properties.

Surfaces coated by the water from this technique increase the cost of using Water Walking and Tree Walking techniques on them by one rank.

___Partial-Miniaturization Stage [2]
The host will continue to draw out the Rokubi's Chakra, taking on more of its traits and getting more of its powers. The slime that previously appeared in patches now covers the arms, back, and torso of the host, and demonic Chakra flows outward near the rear to form small imitations of the demon's first and second tails. Additionally, the skin swells and takes on a lighter hue closer to the white shade of the demon’s body. In this form, the host gains a boost to his or her strength; however, the host will also become significantly slower and clumsier due to the increased size of the body. Mastery of this stage completes the first and second tails.

The slime that previously coated the limbs and torso now completely covers the host’s body. The third and fourth tails begin to form as well, following the first two quickly. With these new alterations, along with the continual increase in Chakra, the host begins to greatly resemble Saiken. The slime coating the host’s arms, back, and torso thickens and spreads to cover all of the body except for the head. The torso also swells more, making it more difficult to maneuver. The third and fourth tails finish forming when the stage is mastered.

___Miniature Demon Stage [4]
The host will allow Rokubi's bone structure to form out of demonic Chakra around his or her body, leaving a humanoid body under the Rokubi’s skeleton. Bodily features become those of the demon: the body swells to fill the space in the skeleton; the teeth recede; the torso grows; arms shrink as the legs thicken; the hands and feet become encased in a soft, spongy substance; and the fifth tail begins forming. In this stage the host's physical capabilities are increased, and thanks to the Chakra support, there are almost no repercussions. The weak point of this stage, however, is the host's inability to move quickly; additionally, the host leaves a trail of slime wherever he or she goes, making him or her very easy to track. This trail of slime is naturally corrosive for two of the user’s posts, and can cause mild damage and chemical burns to anything that comes into contact with it.

___Demon Power Stage [5]
Basic: The host utterly surrenders to their desire for life/power, giving full control of their body to the Rokubi. During this stage, the demon itself will emerge in full form with all six tails formed, although it is still directly tied to the host. For a short amount of time, Saiken will be free to use its power in order to fight for the host, and by association itself. Once this window of time has closed, the host will have to regain control of the demon no matter what. If they decide not to or fail to do so, the Rokubi will retain its full form, and the host will never be able to regain consciousness or their body- essentially dead.
Advanced: The host, having survived giving up their body to the Rokubi, has dealt with incredible amounts demonic Chakra. During this stage, the host will attempt to tap into Saiken's power without giving up his or her own body. Through collaboration with the demon, the two have come up with a way to keep one another alive. Once more, the host’s body is coated in slime; however, rather than taking on Saiken’s form, the host retains his or her own figure. By rejecting the Rokubi’s shape, the host will be able to fight with a much more comfortable range of movement, while still obtaining the benefits of Saiken's Chakra and slime.
Reminder: Both basic and advanced forms of stage five [5] can be used after it is mastered, though they have different restrictions.

The more Chakra paid, the more prominent the attribute is: at S-Rank, sticky slime requires an S-Ranked amount of exertion to break free; slick slime requires S-Ranked Tree or Water Walking techniques to be employed; and corrosive slime will completely dissolve any inanimate object it encounters. Chakra-draining slime will drain half the amount of Chakra used to create it from any incoming techniques and return that Chakra to the host, though it only drains up to the affected Jutsu’s maximum. After the target comes in to contact with some of the user’s slime, the user can activate this technique. The slime loses all of its Chakra draining properties, but stains the Chakra signature of the target. This stain can be felt by the host, and can be followed. Suberiyasui Hedoro no Jutsu [ Slippery Slime Technique ]

The user inhales, and then spits out a large volume of slime. This slime spreads out very quickly, coating as much as possible and flowing up vertical surfaces in order to more fully spread. The slime is incredibly slippery, making it difficult to stand on even while using Chakra. Objects coated in this slime become almost impossible to hold. Can coat an area up to 20 meters in radius in slime.

Yokoyari no Jutsu [ Interruption Technique ]

As long as the target’s hands have slime on them, this technique will work. The slime will coat the hands completely, making it incredibly difficult to form hand seals and mold Chakra for techniques, and will become very sticky. Activating techniques thus becomes very difficult, as well as removing the slime. Lasts for up to ten of the target’s posts, or until dispersed by a technique A-Rank or higher. Once stuck to something, it takes a B-Rank amount of Stamina to pull free.

Hiruma [ Leech Gap ]

The user covers himself or herself in a highly corrosive layer of slime which burns through restraints enough for the user to slip free. Will burn through restraints the technique’s rank or lower. Only affects things the user is touching, though the slime can run. If used with a Chakra cloak active, that cloak turns dark blue.

Ichimyaku no Jutsu [ Connecting Thread Technique ]

The user extends a thin stream of slime toward the enemy, onto whom it then latches. The thread is very sticky, making it difficult to cut, and drains twenty Chakra per post from the target. Requires an active upkeep of 10 Chakra per post.

Kahen na Nami [ Variable Wave ]

The user sends out a large wave of slime that splashes across the area. After the initial activation, the user can change the slime to either make it sticky or slick, but in the extreme; the stickiness can bind crowds of people in place, and the slick slime makes it nearly impossible find and keep a grip on anything. If the slime is unchanged, it is severely corrosive. Slime disappears when fed a B-Ranked amount of Chakra.

Katai Hedoro [ Hard Slime ]

After forming a hand seal, the user sends out a wave of demonic Chakra to all of the slime in the area. The slime immediately hardens, losing all of its other properties, but cannot be broken by a force weaker than A-Rank.

Hoshijutsu [ Draining Technique ]

Contrary to common thought, this technique does not drain Chakra. By sending out a wave of Chakra that reaches everywhere within ten meters of the user, the user is able to affect the slime in the area, lulling any target covered in it into a lethargic state, eventually causing sleep. Lethargy occurs one post after activation, sleep occurs three posts after activation. Lasts for five posts.

Hedoro Bakuhatsu [ Slime Explosion ]

By welling up Chakra inside the body, the user is able to cause slime to shoot off of his or her body at great speeds, coating the area in slime. The slime retains its Chakra draining properties for four of the user’s posts after leaving the body.

Hedoro Kaiten [ Slime Rotation ]

Allows the user to change the properties of slime after it has been launched, provided the slime has not become inert. The slime can be made highly corrosive, slippery, sticky, runny, or can harden the slime to trap those within it. Adds three posts to the time any affected slime remains active. Affects all slime within line of sight.

Sansan [ Acid Scattering ]

The user releases a dense gas composed of a highly corrosive alkaline substance from his or her mouth. The gas is strong enough to instantly disintegrate wood.

Changes the composition of the slime on the user’s body to be able to dissolve and disappear in water. The water then acts like slime, becoming sluggish and becoming either sticky, slick, corrosive, or Chakra-draining. All slime created within three posts of activation is affected. Chakra-draining slime will devour a B-Ranked amount of Chakra from any incoming techniques and return that Chakra to the host, though it only drains up to the affected Jutsu’s maximum. Fushokudan [ Corrosion Bomb ]

Causes all slime in the area to harden and constrict with enough force to break rock. This technique is used usually to kill large numbers of enemies or to destroy architecture; either way, it is devastating. Affects an entire thread. Cost is halved if the slime is already hardened, whether by Jutsu or otherwise. Affected slime does not have to be active.

Namekuji no Kyouran [ Slug’s Frenzy ]

The Rokubi’s version of the Bijuu Ball. The Rokubi gathers a large amount of Chakra in its mouth, and then expels it in a devastating, wide-range blast. The blast lacks the power that most Bijuu Ball variants have, but it makes up for this by draining 100 Chakra from every living creature that it hits, if possible. This does not mean that the technique is not damaging, though; getting hit directly by it almost guarantees death.

Hedoro Saisei no Jutsu [ Slime Resuscitation Technique ]

The user sends a wave of demonic Chakra through the environment. The Chakra is devoured by all of the slime already in the area, granting to it the qualities that the slime on the user’s body has for four of the user’s posts. Namekuji no Namida [ Slug’s Tears ]

The user activates this technique by kissing the target on the forehead. Doing so sends 100 Chakra to the target and nullifies most diseases and viruses in that person’s body.

D e s c r i p t i o n:
___In the anime series this demon has been shown through the character Fuu. The demon's body is that of a large beetle with six wings and one cerci serving as its seven tails. It is covered in a hard exoskeleton that serves as armor for the Bijuu. In addition to its wings and cerci, the Nanabi has six arms adorned with razor-sharp claws that the creature uses to latch on to prey and to climb, as well as a large forked horn on the head that serves as a bashing weapon. This demon controls the winds of the world, and uses them to supplement its already formidable defensive and offensive capabilities. Despite its considerable power, past hosts were not known to retain any facets of the demon’s physical appearance; however, due to the Nanabi’s relative strength, hosts tend to take on its personality to a degree and are cheerful and inquisitive unless they can thoroughly suppress the demon. In addition, hosts typically wear clothing that is either very light in color or very dark to symbolize their connection with the demon, as it contains both very bright and very dark hues on its body.
___Choumei has a thorough understanding of Fuuton techniques, much like Shukaku. He can use any Fuuton techniques his host knows, and can even use them in collaboration with the host if the host is in a state of activation and the two are on good terms. He is a sucker when it comes to the number seven, and will almost always comment on, or be relatively excited about, any techniques involving that number. Hosts frequently report hearing his voice for the first time seven days after the sealing or on their seventh birthday, whichever is later.

The third and fourth wings begin to form as well, following the first two quickly, and two extra sets of insect arms begin forming along the torso underneath the first two; however, they will not fully form until later and are little more than stubs at this point. With these new alterations, along with the continual increase in Chakra, the host begins to greatly resemble Choumei. The host’s speed and strength increase once more, but not nearly as much as they did in previous stages. The third and fourth tails finish forming when the stage is mastered.

In this stage the host's physical capabilities are increased, and thanks to the Chakra support, there are almost no repercussions. The weak point of this stage, however, is the host's inability to balance well while using the wings.

Advanced: The host, having survived giving up their body to the Nanabi, has dealt with incredible amounts demonic Chakra. During this stage, the host will attempt to tap into Choumei's power without giving up his or her own body. Through collaboration with the demon, the two have come up with a way to keep one another alive. Once more, the host’s skin darkens; however, rather than taking on Choumei’s form, the host retains his or her own figure. By rejecting the Nanabi’s shape, the host will be able to fight with a much more comfortable range of movement, while still obtaining the benefits of Choumei's Chakra and the ability to travel on walls and ceilings without the use of Chakra.
Reminder: Both basic and advanced forms of stage five [5] can be used after it is mastered, though they have different restrictions.

The user flaps the completed wings twice, whipping up a large gust of wind that blows away in all directions at shin-height. The gust is powerful enough to topple small buildings and kick up large clouds of dust at the same time, but is used mainly to knock down and repel enemies. Has a range of fifteen meters and lasts for up to two of the user’s posts of flapping.

Gisou no Jutsu [ Camouflage Technique ]

Alters the colors of the user’s body and the demonic Chakra to more closely match the colors of the surroundings. This color can change up to three times before the technique wears off and the colors revert to what they were originally. Cannot be seen through via Doujutsu, unlike other techniques similar to it. Sensors using sensory techniques B-Rank or above can uncover the user.

Daiyou no Jutsu [ Replacement Technique ]

If the Nanabi’s exoskeleton or body is immobilized, the host can crack open the body to escape from the immobilization. Doing so puts the user in a stage of activation one lower than he or she started with, unless in the Nanabi’s complete form. This shell can then be broken down into scales for use with other techniques.

Oroshijutsu [ Launching Technique ]

Propels all objects and people in an area ten meters in radius roughly one hundred feet in the air by creating a strong updraft. This has the added effect of nullifying techniques under A-Rank that involve downward motion. The upward acceleration is sudden enough to prevent the completion of hand seals and cause severe whiplash. If used indoors, this technique will destroy eight stories of architecture above it. Technique persists for three of the user’s posts, and can be pulsed for no additional cost to the user, though this function consumes an activation per post (regardless of how many pulses are caused in that post).

Calls down a large volume of air from the upper atmosphere, dropping temperatures in the thread to temperatures far below zero degrees Fahrenheit. This cold snap can cause metal to break, windows to shatter, and water to freeze. After the sudden chill, the thread warms back up to its normal temperature naturally. Any Shinobi in the thread when this technique enacts will suffer severe frostbite. When activated at Bijuu scales, affects an entire Village.

Katto [ Fly into a Rage ]

After activating this technique, the host begins attacking completely without regard to his or her own safety, let alone the safety of others. While in this state, both physical strength and the strength of all Jutsu used by the host are doubled. Lasts for three of the host’s posts, and can only be used once per battle.

The Nanabi’s version of the Bijuu Ball. After gathering chakra at the tip of the horn, the Nanabi releases the Chakra in one direction. The Chakra is green in color and can blow through a forest easily. The blast is accompanied by strong winds, and together the combination can annihilate a small city.

Spawns a set of insect wings and cerci for balance in flight. D e s c r i p t i o n:
___In the anime series this demon has been shown through the character Killer Bee. The demon's body is that of an ox’s torso with the tentacles of an octopus, each tentacle serving as a tail. It is covered in gray-brown skin that offers little protection other than simply being durable. In addition to its eight tentacles, the Hachibi has two large, muscular arms and a head adorned with two sets of tough horns that the creature uses to do battle with other creatures. This demon is very tough and serious, and tends to use its head to augment its power more than the other demons seem to. However, despite its considerable power, past hosts were not known to retain any facets of the demon’s physical appearance, nor did they retain any of the mental attributes of the demon outside of its personality. Because of this, hosts are often very difficult to uncover, as they look and act like normal Shinobi.
___Gyuuki, being the most outwardly intelligent of the Bijuu, can remember the name and effects of any technique he sees twice. However, he tends to only help his host when it’s the most tactically advantageous for him, and will pry at his host’s most sensitive memories to try to gain control over the body. If he is on good terms with his host, however, he will put all of his attention toward addressing the situation at hand. He bears surprisingly little ill will for his hosts, aside from generally wanting to be free.

In this stage the host's physical capabilities are increased, and thanks to the Chakra support, there are almost no repercussions. The weak point of this stage, however, is the small size of the host’s legs in comparison to the rest of the body.

Once this window of time has closed, the host will have to regain control of the demon no matter what. If they decide not to or fail to do so, the Hachibi will retain its full form, and the host will never be able to regain consciousness or their body- essentially dead.

The user lets out a deafening Chakra-laced roar that drains all who hear it of the will to fight. This technique can even be used to calm other Bijuu and summons. If used on a raging Nanabi, the Nanabi calms down.

The user gathers a large amount of Chakra around his or her own body, making an opaque orb of Chakra around the user. The user marks an opponent, usually by discharging Chakra into them by touch. After the mark has been made, the user forms a hand seal and spawns a cloud of ink. The cloud is attracted to the mark put on the target, and will follow it quickly and trap the target. The cloud is thick enough that it cannot be seen through even with Doujutsu.

Gyuuki coils his tails around himself before extending them with an enormous amount of physical strength. This causes him to spin rapidly, resulting in the generation of tremendous gusts of wind that buffet everything in the surrounding area. Toubatsu [ Subjugation ]

A technique that allows the Hachibi to catch and redirect Bijuu Ball attacks from the first demon through the seventh.

Meian [ Light and Darkness ]

The Hachibi’s version of the Bijuu Ball. The Hachibi concentrates a large amount of light and dark Chakra in to a ball, and then unleashes it in a directional blast. A fully charged Tailed Beast Ball from the Eight-Tails can fill an entire valley with the explosion as well as plough through a multiple layered barrier.

Bubun Henge no Jutsu [ Partial Transformation Technique ]

By activating this technique, the user changes one portion of his or her body to an equivalent part of the Hachibi’s body. This is often used to switch out an arm for the Hachibi’s or to turn the legs in to tentacles to facilitate quick swimming.

Shinzen Doumyukuryu no Jutsu [ Friendship Aneurysm Technique ]

The user activates this technique by allowing the demon to take control of the body during this stage of activation. The demon’s body forms, but the user also appears on the demon’s body, attached from the waist down. During this stage, the Hachibi can do battle without activating techniques above Level Two while the host can use techniques B-Ranked and under. Can only be used once per battle, as an aneurysm is not nice to keep having.

D e s c r i p t i o n:
___In the anime series this demon has been shown through the character Naruto. The demon's body is that of an enormous, nine-tailed fox covered in orange fur. In addition to its nine tails, the Kyuubi has sharp teeth and claws that it uses to damage and grip opponents. This demon is in tune with the emotions of creatures and uses that ability to control its hosts, locating and dragging out every negative emotion the host has ever felt. The only hosts to survive interacting with him for very long are ones who have great control over themselves. The demon’s considerable Chakra marks the host by giving him or her whisker-like shadows on the cheeks, but as long as it is properly sealed away, the Kyuubi will not alter the host’s personality.
___Kurama is frequently thought to have an infinite amount of Chakra, through no fault of his own. This makes him perfect for sharing his Chakra with other people, as he can easily fuel a large army’s Chakra supplies singlehandedly. As a side-effect of this massive amount of Chakra, his hosts tend to have great difficulty controlling Chakra in active stages. Unless a demonic stage has already been mastered, techniques used during its activation cost twice as much as they usually do, due to the flooding of the host’s Chakra network. The Kyuubi is by far the most violently active demon in hosts who have not befriended him: he will pounce on any and every chance to break free from his host, even going so far as to try to escape whenever the host draws on his Chakra. For this reason, it is wise to use two seals to contain him, even if this serves only to further enrage him.

___Awoken Stage [1]
This is the first usage of the Kyuubi's Chakra. This and all stages beyond it are activated / sustained stages. In addition to making use of the demon's Chakra, the host will also gain certain characteristics, such as: darkening of the whisker marks, a Chakra cloak, increased strength, and slightly increased speed. In addition, this stage and all up to the fifth stage provide the user with absurd regenerative abilities.
_Basic Effects: ( Without mastery. )

• Speed slightly increased.
• Strength increased.

___Partial-Miniaturization Stage [2]
The host will continue to draw out the Kyuubi's Chakra, taking on more of its traits and getting more of its powers. Demonic Chakra flows outward near the rear to form small imitations of the demon's first and second tails. Additionally, the whisker marks darken and the lips and area around the eyes turn black. In this form, the host gains a further boost to his or her strength and speed. Mastery of this stage completes the first and second tails.

• Active Chakra increase: +50 Chakra ( Per ninja rank. )
• Demonic Chakra forms two 5 foot long tails at the host’s rear.
• Speed increased; strength increased.
• Lips and skin around eyes turns black.
_Advanced Effects: ( After mastery. Basic effects overridden. )
• Passive Chakra increase: +55 Chakra.
• Active Chakra increase: +55 Chakra ( Per ninja rank. )
• Access to level two [2] demon techniques.
• Demonic Chakra forms two completed tails 6 feet long at the host’s rear.
• Speed increased; strength increased.

___Half-Miniaturization Stage [3]
The third, fourth and fifth tails begin to form, and bring with them the first cases of Chakra damage to the body: as the tails form, the host’s skin peels off and burns away in the poisonous Chakra. Additionally, the host bulks up considerably as the demonic Chakra piles directly on to the host’s body, forming a thick skin armored with Chakra; with these new alterations, along with the continual increase in Chakra, the host begins to greatly resemble Kurama. The host’s speed and strength increase once more, keeping consistent with the growth made in previous stages. The third, fourth, and fifth tails finish forming when the stage is mastered.

• Demonic Chakra piles on to the body, making it stronger and more durable while destroying the host’s skin. In addition, the Chakra forms a thick defensive layer of skin that is very difficult to penetrate.

• Passive Chakra increase: +60 Chakra.
• Active Chakra increase: +60 Chakra ( Per ninja rank. )
• Access to level three [3] demon techniques.
• Demonic Chakra piles onto the body, making it stronger and more durable while destroying the host’s skin. In addition, the Chakra forms a thick defensive layer of skin that is very difficult to penetrate.
• Speed and strength greatly increased.
• The third, fourth, and fifth tails finish forming.

___Miniature Demon Stage [4]
The host will allow Kyuubi's skeleton to begin forming out of demonic Chakra around his or her body, leaving a slightly humanoid body under the Kyuubi’s weighty skeleton. Most bodily features become those of the demon: the fingers become longer and the fingernails sharpen in to claws; the teeth lengthen and sharpen; and the sixth, seventh and eighth tails begin forming. In this stage the host's physical capabilities are greatly increased, and thanks to the Chakra support, there are almost no repercussions. The weak point of this stage, however, is the volatility of the host’s demeanor.

• Active Chakra increase: +60 Chakra ( Per ninja rank. )
• Host becomes a miniature version of Kurama.
• Strength and stamina increased.
• Sixth, seventh, and eighth tails begin developing.
_Advanced Effects: ( After mastery. Basic effects overridden. )
• Passive Chakra increase: +65 Chakra.
• Active Chakra increase: +65 Chakra ( Per ninja rank. )
• Host becomes a miniature version of Kurama with eight tails.
• Access to level four [4] demon techniques.
• Strength incredibly increased; speed incredibly increased.

___Demon Power Stage [5]
Basic: The host utterly surrenders to their desire for life/power, giving full control of their body to the Kyuubi. During this stage, the demon itself will emerge in full form with all eight tails formed, although it is still directly tied to the host. For a short amount of time, Kurama will be free to use its power in order to fight for the host, and by association itself. Once this window of time has closed, the host will have to regain control of the demon no matter what. If they decide not to or fail to do so, the Kyuubi will retain its full form, and the host will never be able to regain consciousness or their body- essentially dead.
Advanced: The host, having survived giving up their body to the Kyuubi, has dealt with incredible amounts demonic Chakra. During this stage, the host will attempt to tap into Kurama's power without giving up his or her own body. Through collaboration with the demon, the two have come up with a way to keep one another alive. The host’s skin darkens to the gray-brown color of the demon’s; however, rather than taking on Kurama’s form, the host retains his or her own figure. By rejecting the Kyuubi’s shape, the host will be able to fight with a much more comfortable range of movement, while still obtaining the benefits of Kurama's Chakra, strength, and stamina.
Reminder: Both basic and advanced forms of stage five [5] can be used after it is mastered, though they have different restrictions.

• Learn level five [5] demon techniques.
• Kurama takes over the host's body, causing it to fully materialize.
• Roleplayer acts as Kurama, attacking indiscriminately.
• Kurama has use of all known demon techniques, though they are performed on a larger scale.
_Advanced Effects: ( After mastery. Basic effects overridden. )
• Active Chakra increase: +75 Chakra ( Per ninja rank. )
• Access to level six [6] demon techniques.
• The host’s skin glows to a yellow-white color.
• Chakra rises from the host’s body like flames.
• Chakra Reinforcement (Passive Attribute): During this stage of activation, one of the host’s attributes is increased to unheard-of levels. Applies only to things like speed, dexterity, physical strength, etc.

___Level zero [0] techniques:
Enseikan no Jutsu [ Pessimism Technique ]

Forcibly alters the user’s mood until Kai [ Release ] is used to undo the effect. Using this technique to become more pessimistic makes it easier to shift in to higher stages of activation prior to mastery of Stage 5. Does not count as a Genjutsu.

Ichigeki no Jutsu [ Poke Technique ]
Rank D
A Chakra-enforced finger strike that is powerful enough to topple a foe with ease and can cause disorientation. However, it cracks the user’s finger bones if he or she has no training in Taijutsu or Bukijutsu.

Hayai Yakushin [ Quick Rush ]

By sending Chakra through the legs, the user gains the ability to rush at very high speeds, even on walls. The force of the run is enough to crack the ground underneath the user. Lasts for two of the user’s posts.

Chakura Funpatsu [ Strenuous Chakra Exertion ]
Rank C
The user sends Chakra in all directions outward from the body, creating tremendous pressure that pushes away both physical objects and Chakra forms under B-Rank. Consumes all the activations for a post and activates immediately.

___Level two [2] techniques:
Akuma no Tsume [ Demon’s Claw ]
Rank C
Temporarily solidifies the demonic Chakra on the user’s hands, granting a set of sharp claws for four of the user’s posts.

Akuma Dageki [ Demon Strike ]
Rank B
The user molds demonic Chakra in to a body part, increasing the destructive force of that body part tremendously. This only lasts for one strike, but can decimate defenses up to A-Rank.

___Level three [3] techniques:
Akuma no Doku [ Demon’s Poison ]
Rank B
Turns a portion of the demon’s Chakra in to a black mist that spreads through the area. This mist eats away at the health of those who inhale it, and has the ability to deteriorate organic material. Mist covers an area 10 meters in diameter and lasts for four of the user’s posts.

Chakura no Furyouka [ Downfall of Chakra ]

Turns a portion of the demon’s Chakra in to a red mist that spreads through the area. The mist poisons the Chakra supply of those who come in to contact with it, causing a fever and making those affected not be able to activate Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, even if they expel the Chakra to do so, while in the mist. Only affects those within the mist; all effects disappear upon exiting the mist. Technique lasts for four of the user’s posts.

___Level four [4] techniques:
Juuzen no Jutsu [ Absolute Safety Technique ]
Rank A
Reinforces the user’s body with demonic Chakra, granting the user the ability to escape from movement-sealing techniques up to S-Rank. Lasts for four of the user’s posts.

Chiisai Kaimetsu [ Small Annihilation ]
Rank S
A small version of the Kyuubi’s Bijuu Ball. This version of the Bijuu Ball is typically regarded as being roughly the same in strength as the other Bijuu’s regular Bijuu Ball techniques, with the exception of the Hachibi’s. The explosion is powerful enough to blow through the heavy defensive structure known as the Rashoumon gate, and can blow away small villages.

___Level five [5] techniques:
Nikushimi [ Hatred ]

The demon sends out a wave of Chakra, planting a specific feeling determined by the Kyuubi—typically hatred—in all those affected by the Chakra. The technique is powerful enough that it can foster permanent feelings if not quickly dispersed with Kai. This technique can only be used in this stage of activation. After mastery of Stage 5, the host will have some input as to which feelings are planted.

Kitsune Okibi [ Blazing Fox Fire ]

The demon stomps the ground, sending out a short wave of Chakra as it does so. The Chakra only travels about 10 meters, but those hit by it are coated in it. The Chakra moves and dances like fire, thus the name, and degrades the mental status of those affected, preventing Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, and Bukijutsu from being executed properly and in the right direction. Hallucinations are common. The Chakra can be removed with a Kai or with a heavy dousing of water. Mental stability returns after five posts of out-of-battle recovery.

Ryuuseiu [ Meteor Shower ]

The demon condenses demonic Chakra in to physical shapes in the stomach, then launches them out of the mouth at high speeds. The Chakra burns up as it flies, and impacts with the power of a meteor, hence the name of the technique. Launches 4-6 objects.

Zettai Kaimetsu [ Absolute Annihilation ]
Rank S+
The Kyuubi’s version of the Bijuu Ball. The Kyuubi’s Bijuu Ball creates a blast that is capable of annihilating a small mountain range, though it requires three of the demon’s posts to Charge, during which time the demon is immobilized and cannot use other techniques without cancelling this one first.

___Level six [6] techniques:
Kanjou Kenshutsu [ Emotion Sensor ]
Rank S
After activation, the user can sense positive and negative emotions within a 5 kilometer radius of him or her. However, the user can only clearly sense emotions that are within 20 meters. Stays passive for twenty of the user’s posts.

Chakura Ougonjutsu [ Chakra Alchemy ]
Rank S
Turns all released elemental Chakra (such as wood, ice, fire, etc.) in to actual physical manifestations of that element. This technique has been shown to revert Mokuton to simply being trees, and affects all techniques used within a 3 meter radius of the user. After activation, this technique stays passive for ten posts. Can only be used twice per battle.
