With the influx of pokemon inspired soquili migrating from their homeland to the kawani, a group of humans realised the potential of these strange, magnificent creatures and sought to exploit their unique abilities and desirable appearances for their own gain. They gathered the resources required to build a ranch, which contained stables, pastures and living quarters for the members. Once they had the basic requirements needed to store the soquili they would capture, they then set out to claim companions/mounts of their own. The pokemon wranglers didn't succeed in their mission to befriend pokemon straight away having to learn what they liked and disliked through trial and error but with sheer persistence the group eventually earned the trust and loyalty of a small number, enough so that each of the original group had one of their own. As time went on the Wranglers recruited more members, specialising in required professions to help care for the soquili they had captured and to further expand the ranch.
The pokemon wranglers have many occupations among their group.
Breeders
Breeders make sure that the pokemon on the ranch are well-groomed, bathing and brushing them everyday without fail. They make sure their living space is cleaned out and organised according to the soquili's needs. They're also in charge of breeding pairs and looking after the pairs off-spring. Breeders consult with the researchers and observers to inquire what sustenance the poke-soq in their care requires in order to survive and remain healthy, they then collect said sustenance from the farmers.
Farmers
Farmers harvest natural resources from the pokemon soquili, say there is a Tropius soquili that grows bannana's from it's chin, they will consult the observers/researchers in order to confirm whether or not it is safe to remove eg. they will grow back and is painless for the pokemon-soq.
Researchers/Observers
Researchers and observers both stay on the farm and scout pokemon-soq in the wild, watching how they interact and what unique abilities and habits each individual species and poke-soq of that species possess. They report their findings back to the Wranglers and they then contemplate whether or not to seek/capture or befriend that pokemon.
Retrievers
Retrievers specialise in hunting pokemon that have been given the green-light for capture as well as finding poke-soq that have escaped the ranch and returning them. Retrievers have pokemon-soq companions that are adept at tracking. They will also take on individual cases where a pokemon-soq owner has lost their companion or their poke-soq has run away and will retrieve them for a fee.
Vets
Vets have the necessary skills in order to treat normal wildlife however these vets must take the initiative and be able to think outside the box when treating poke-soquili, since each species and individual is different. They will consult with Observers/Researchers and Breeders in order to find a suitable solution when aiding an injured/sick pokemon-soq. They have a specialised building where they can keep and treat several poke-soq until they have made a full recovery.

Wranglers host markets where humans/pokemon owners can sell/buy/trade other pokemon at auction. They also host competitions where owners can show off their pokemon's attributes ( a lot like pokemon contests ) according to the respective category they have been entered in to for a variety of prizes.
Scheduled Pokemon races where human and pokemon overcome obstacles and compete against one another in order to win medals, trophies, race-gear and more!
