Baridi was a simple hare. She enjoyed wandering out on her own from time to time, but was only able to do this when she was certain that her bonded companion, Kiwango was asleep or staying in the pride's camp. With her light weight and padded feet, Baridi was able to hop across the snowy terrain without falling into hidden pits. Her lion companion however, was not.

With all this in mind, Baridi was almost always in a good mood when she was allowed to be out on her own. There was the instinctual thrill of not being protected by her predatory friend and the glee that came with being able to flounce wherever she liked, without having to worry about checking for the hollow sound of pits below, like she did for her companion, who was scared of falling under.

So pleased was she to be out and about today that she was distracted. So distracted that she almost didn't hear the muffled cry for help until she was standing right atop it. With alarm, she bounced back and then proceeded to dig with speedy paws until two large purple and sparkly ears popped up, scaring her half to death.

"What on earth?" She whispered only to leap sky high when a head emerged. Gathering her senses and looking thoroughly bewildered, she peered at the other hare. "What on earth are you doing? And who are you?" He wasn't apart of the Schnee, else she would have recognized him. Where did he come from?
