honestly, what's even the story behind the event other than...just because? why am I attacking and healing people? did I miss a comic or something?

Zphal wolf_with_a_dragon honestly, what's even the story behind the event other than...just because? why am I attacking and healing people? did I miss a comic or something? I was just thinking about this. I miss the manga releases that used to come with events. those were so nice to have. it made the event more alive and real. I mean, i guess yeah this even isn't so different from some of the ones we had in the past, but at least before we were taking part in a story of sorts. not just being told to go to those forums just because. this event feels more like a chore than anything else to me.

I've gotten a bit tired of these forum battle style events. Maybe because it requires too much work when I already have limited time to participate at all because of work and other real life events. I liked last event's set up where you could play what games you wanted whenever you wanted and didn't have to rely on others to "charge" your fighting ability back up.
Heck... I haven't even gotten around to do anything for this Halloween's event. I should take a look at what the items are this time to see if it's even worth squeezing some participation in or not.

I have to say I like the different costumes the NPCs are wearing this year. At least the ones I recognize. If you need reference to who (or what) everyone is dressing up as, you can look at this handy reference guide.
