While a Weyr is a strange place and this is entirely possible in some cases, it is not always the way things work. This thread is a place to give people the down-low for any character you write to add a little flavor to the world. What would anybody in the Weyr (or not so much so?) know about your character?
This is a place to share just that!

RULES
While rules aren't fun, here are some things to keep in mind about the information shared here to be clear and to keep from making anybody upset.
1. Only share information that anybody - within reason - is allowed to know. Things like 'Martirae's mother died of a horrible disease 7 turns ago' would be common information - to people who were at Western at the time. People who showed up later and don't care about the trivia may not know this because they didn't ask OR nobody told them. They're still allowed to find out.
If you share 'Secretly Lennik likes to steal people's socks and blame it on somebody else'* and then get mad when characters know Lennik is stealing socks, then it's your fault for sharing that information! You told them they could know that!
* Lennik does not actually do this, this is just an example.
2. This is not a place to start a personal rumor mill! While you can start potential rumors about your characters (T'mor and his Wingsecond were caught leaving their quarters together), you cannot submit information about other characters even if you have permission. However, if you have permission to have your Xeyryertsfh start a rumor about FHfdkafjdl, then the player of FHfdkafjdl can say 'X rumor is being spread about him. Evidence points to Xeyryertsfh as the source.'
3. Be as specific as needed. If only candidates would know something about your character, be clear about that. If only people x turns or older would know this, also specify that.
4. Please sort your characters by location AND age. This doesn't have to be horrendously specific, but knowing Danzik is an older Dragonrider over in Western will keep me clear on what my Teenage Candidate over in High Reaches knows.
5. Be nice. Nobody is required to post here. This is mostly for flavor and it could help with figuring who your characters get along with OR would know fairly well (and maybe make RP easier! Woah!!)

-Amongst people who actively interact with Kinye, she's obviously simple minded and could be considered dumb. She has a reputation for being easy to take advantage of. -Is Weyrborn and has several family members at High Reaches including Demanthra of Green Monath and Ashlyn of Blue Gyafrith - Draws. A lot. Some of it is humorous but could be considered childishly so.

Ichta of Blue Aurinkoth +18 Years Old/ >1 Year Old
Ichta is: -Not Weyrborn. -Previously a Weaver. Still works on a tapestry in her spare time and practices her craft. -Notable as being particularly nervous all the time, but hardworking. -To the astute, has a rather obvious affection for G'ran who impressed from the same clutch as she did. Perhaps not easily pegged as a blooming love, but she pays extra attention to needs he may have that others would never think of. Like making him properly fitting clothing. Hmmm. -She is also particularly close to Nadry of Brown Menankith. -Will fix all of your ripped clothing with no complaint. Does a great job of it. -When B'nem threw his drunken tirade in front of the Weyrlings, Ichta seemed particularly shaken by it and had to be comforted by her dear blue.
Aurinkoth is: -An Actual Ray of Sunshine™ -Known for saying hi to strangers. He will give enthusiastic hellos to all who allow him to. -Has stolen fruit when he shouldn't. In fact he'll practically beg for it. -Somewhat easily swayed by Elzebuth, G'ran's brown. If this is Ichta's influence is up to personal interpretation.
G'lin of Green Neiveth +17 Years Old/2 Years Old
G'lin is: -Not Weyrborn. -When he impressed from the Stands 2 turns ago, he notably carried his newly hatched green off of the sands. He is known for bending to her nearly every whim. -Was never a candidate. He was sorely unprepared for being bonded to a dragon and seems to struggle to a certain extent to keep up now that Thread is here. -Never participates in 'his end' of Neiveth's flights.
Neiveth is: -Absolutely flirty. Green, Blue, Brown, Bronze, or Gold, Neiveth will try to get in on cuddles and appreciate you. Never as much as her boy, but she'll appreciate you. -Rises almost precisely every 3 months. Very, very full of love. Overzealous love. Hoooooboy. -A spoiled needy princess.
W'dre of Bronze Dormith +26 Years Old/10 Years Old
W'dre is: -Not Weyrborn. -Eerily quiet. -Notably unambitious as a Bronzerider. -Somewhat mysterious despite the fact he has been around for 10 turns. -If he says he'll get something done, W'dre will throw his corpse at it if he has to.
Dormith is: -Full of guidance and very respectful of other dragons and their boundaries. -Has never chased a rising dragon. He requires permission before a Gold or a Green rises to chase. -Will listen to your troubles, but only pushes change on his own terms.
Alosha of Green Phaedrath +24 Years Old/10 Years Old
Alosha is: -Weyrborn -Treated kids around her like she was their big sister. Still will be a big-sister to candidates. -Almost always dirty -Curious. She will get in your business. -If you want it done right, have Alosha do it.
Phaedrath is: -A perfectionist. -Obviously has a preference for Bronzes, but doesn't rise often. -Aware of everything but not a gossip.
E'mel of Blue Brieteth +19 Years Old/3 Years Old
E'mel is: -Not Weyrborn and did not impress at High Reaches. -A golden retriever in the body of a boy. -Sings good -Always calls his blue 'Buddy boy' and other sweet pet names. -Is a Searchrider!
Brieteth is: -A perpetual sadness machine. -Always worried -Sensitive to searches.

-Weyrborn -Marty lost her mother to disease 7 turns ago and her father, a bluerider, blipped off the radar after that. Only those really around at the time and who cared about it would be aware of this because she doesn't talk about it. At all. -Has been standing for 5 turns unsuccessfully. Never leaves the sands crying and never shares in the excitement and hope and wonder other candidates have before them. -Is sharp and intense and straight to the point. Doesn't sugarcoat and can hurt feelings. -If you can't do it on your own....maybe find help elsewhere. She won't even help with chores if you're running behind. Yikes.

Danzik is: -Wingsecond to Fire Storm Wing -A former tanner. She still checks and makes riding straps when she's not busy. - Danzik's father, Danren, still works at the Weyr as a tanner, checking on, repairing, and making new riding gear. -A serious and stern mama. She can be a stick in the mud and will always make sure everybody is finishing what they started. -Lennik's Mom. -Is often checking in on candidates to make sure they're not being pests. Before becoming a Wingsecond, she was the Assistant Candidatemaster for several turns.
Eosphoth is: -An absolute sweetheart. She will listen to all of your problems and keep all your secrets (but Danzik will always find out so be careful). -Treats Candidates like her children, even if they're no longer actively tending to them anymore. -Lennik's best friend (for now...)
T'mor of Brown Phylideth +27 Years Old/5 Years Old
T'mor is: -Wingleader of Yokohama Wing -Captain Dad -Has a broken nose and a huge scar on his face. Yikes. -Always Friendly -T'mor's parents work in the kitchens as Cooks.
Phylideth is: -Why. -What the hell -Actual 5 year old throwing a tantrum in the cereal aisle -Does not like Bronzes -Chases all the things
Vetica of Green Shanaloth +27 Years Old/12 Years Old
Vetica is: -Was considered mute until she actually spoke at the Hatching where she impressed Shanaloth. Sometimes can still be mistaken as being so. -Jaded as hell -Has a half-glascow smile and covered in scars and burns (but not threadscore). Eek. -Wants your attention but doesn't want your attention (but she really does). She will linger around conversations and listen but won't invite herself in (then act like she doesn't know what you're talking about when you try to invite her in...sigh..) -Tsundere AF.
Shanaloth is: -Here to help you in the hard times and won't sugarcoat why they're hard or that they are at all. -Actual Giving Tree (except that Vetica will stop her from doing it too impressively).
L'nik of Brown Hessianth +19 Years Old
L'nik is: -Weyrborn to Danzik of Green Eosphoth. -He is apprenticed to his Grandfather, Danren, who works at the Weyr on riding gear. -Spent almost 6 years being an attention seeking troublemaker and fit-thrower to get attention. May have hurt some feelings or made people dislike his antics. -Is trying to amend the above. Is still rough and kind of prickly about it tho. -OK but have you seen his big bulky brown? Isn't he beautiful? L'nik is very fond of his new life partner.
Hessianth is: -Trouble, trouble, trouble. He has a strong spirit and tries to do what he wants - often. L'nik often struggles with reeling him in - no bribery in the world works. -A little hero! -Likes to play with his clutchmates - but is a very frank creature known to make dark comments. He's not for everybody.

Western Weyr Yevalee -Candidate -17 Non-binary, has a trunk full of sarong cloth. Been in the Weyr a little over a month before Vimiath's clutching (Boy's dorm). Confused with pants, so boring. Probably freaked out more then one poor soul in the bath by staying underwater for up to four minutes. (It is relaxing!) Tends to keep their hair pinned up/covered. Lots of shell/bone jewerly. High Reaches Weyr Nadry of Brown Menankith
Nadry is: not Weyrborn, has been at High Reaches since mid-3571 youngest sibling/only sister of M'yk of brown Dobrokhoth, who has avoided contact with her since she Impressed; she doesn't actively complain about it outside of her circle of friends, but will reference it/her family's disapproval without seeming overly fussed formed a close bond with Ichta and G'ran on the Sands, which has remained intact and very obvious; also spends time and gets along with R'gan, as their dragons are close exceedingly polite and generally pleasant to be around, but never the life of the party; notably uncomfortable with any discussions about or even references to any matters relating to pants feelings does her best to moderate her outspoken, progressive dragon during lessons, with varying degrees of success on rest days, usually in the morning, can be found by the lake with Menankith and her blue flit, Sir Moustache, as they 'help' her get dirty; if asked, she'll be dodgy about it and try to pass it off as a game, but she doesn't seem to be enjoying herself...
Menankith is: outspokenly progressive - he will launch into rants about equality, oppression, etc.. Nadry tries to keep him from doing so during lessons, but doesn't always succeed is very close to Basanuth and Aurinkoth, but spends a fair amount of time with Elzebuth as well (and never complains about attention from Macuith) especially preoccuppied with the wellbeing of the female Weyrlings, both human and dragon, and often concerned that they're getting enough to eat
