Povu had spent what felt like ages cleaning up the mess in his workshop that his young mate, Riu, had made. He kept to his word about not letting her inside again and seemed content that she kept to hers. Maybe there was some hope for the pair after all. With a long sigh, he sat back on his haunches and looked over his workshop.
He would have to restock his stores, he realized with a sigh and got to his paws. He slipped a small pouch over his head, the same he used whenever he went out gathering herbs and glanced outside his den. It didn't look like anyone was waiting for him to treat their sores or bruises. Perhaps this would be a good time to stretch is legs.
Yet, before he left, he wanted to do one last check of his workshop. He wanted to make sure that he had a clear idea of what he would be fetching. It would be no good if he came back with the more of a herb he already had plenty of, after all. One more check, he told himself, then he would go out herb gathering.
