A lion was on Ogon's mind. It wasn't his small family, be it his siblings, parents, or children. Though now and then two of his daughters did pop into his head, especially when he saw Sekhmet, finding the blue very... Startling. He'd asked their maternal grandmother, the blue didn't come from Arevik's side, so it was from somewhere back in his own mysterious family. And it had made Led very... Very... Incredibly blue...
But no, at the moment a different lioness was on his mind. Despite everything, Alamea, former Hongshan and former Nergui slave, still hated him on principal of who his fa- sire was. He huffed, pacing back and forth in the shade, away from the main pride sleeping areas and away from the medic wards. Why was she so infuriating, and why couldn't he stop thinking about her and why she made him mad?

Ogon paused in his pacing, lifting his head. He could hear voices approaching, and a quick look around helped him zero in on the two approaching lions. Who were they again... He vaguely recognized the adolescent, remembering him being a cub. The lioness, though, was much newer, a somewhat recently joined rogue. His ears twitched, listening to their words, processing them. They'd gone beyond the borders... Right, a party had gone out. Kiran had been amid them, leaving with them to act as a field medic.
He thought, then, of Alamea, and how much she'd surely seen. He'd have to ask some time, when she didn't hate him. Taking a deep breath, Ogon started toward the lions. The adolescent had grown up with Ogon long-established as around, surely he didn't distrust the medic for the Nergui blood he bore, and the lioness had joined long after, so, he hoped, she had no firm opinion of his heritage. "Excuse me... What's it like out there, past the borders?" A part of him did want to go, but even stoic medics could be afraid.

"Ogon'krylo...." He tilted his head, thinking about the question. In the mean time, he said, "It's good to put a name to a face." His gaze pointed to Pyrallis. "I know many faces in this pride, as a medic, but names escape me often." Ogon shifted, thinking again on what he wanted to know. "I suppose a start would be, is there really as much water as others have said? It seems hard to believe anywhere has endless water of any kind... Or grass." Grass was another thing he rarely saw much of, mainly dried old stalks that grew near rock formations. When he thought about it, Ogon didn't think he'd ever even seen that thing he'd heard Singh talk about, a tree. Having latent fear of the world past the border, he'd felt no need to go look.
