- Contact with humans is allowed, but must be discreet.
- Humans must be vetted and approved of by the clan leader before they may be told anything of the clan.
- Humans should never be told of the clan's home base, or brought to it, unless invited by the clan leader.
- Any human who betrays the clan shall be killed by the member who brought them into the fold.

- Clan members may feed from humans at will.
- Clan members must only kill humans deserving of death. What this entails is up to the clan's discretion.
- Clan members are responsible for their own clean-up. It is their responsibility to the clan to cover your tracks and ensure that the clan is not discovered.
- Feeding on children is expressly forbidden.

- It is up to the discretion of clan members if they wish to turn new members.
- Clan members may not turn any human without their consent.
- Clan members assume any and all responsibility for any fledglings they bring into the clan.
- Failure to properly educate and train new fledglings will be met with severe punishment.
- Any fledgling that proves too troublesome will be put to death. The sentence shall be carried out by the member who turned them.

- All members must remain loyal to and follow the orders of the clan leader Harbinger.
- Members of the clan must remain loyal to the Shadowsong Council and its leaders.
- Betraying the clan or council in any way is punishable by death.

spaceThe Shadowsong clan was formed nearly two hundred years ago, when its leader Kronos fell in love with a human woman. His lover grew tired of seeing him only at night, and questioned him regarding his strange habits. That night, he revealed himself to her and turned her into a vampire. From their, the pair traveled and expanded their newly-formed clan, taking in lost vampires and turning fledglings of their own.

spaceHarbinger was the first fledgling turned after Nyx, who longer to be a mother. Stolen in the night from a Russian orphanage, Sasha drew their attention because xe was the only child who was unafraid of the pair. When Sasha's power first manifested, it frightened the others, bringing their greatest fears seemingly to life before their eyes, and xe was nearly abandoned. But, fear of being left behind led Sasha to learn control of xeir abilities. Xe was dubbed 'Harbinger' by Kronos, and became heir to the clan.

xxxTHE SHADOWSONG COUNCILxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

spaceOver time, the clan grew until it was one of the largest known clans on the continent. Unrest and upheaval in the established vampire council drew the interest of Kronos, who saw it as an opportunity. With the council weakened, Kronos declared himself the leader of a new council, the Shadowsong Council, and split his clan into several, smaller clans, naming a few select members as the new leaders.

xxxTHE AUGUREY CLANxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

spaceHarbinger was given a clan, along with xeir mate Amnesia, dubbed it 'Augurey', for the death omen. Its growth was slow, its leader being discerning and easily bored. If a human could not hold xier attention for long, xe was not inclined to turn them. Finally, a wizard named Virgile drew Harbinger's attention, and xey waited until the perfect opportunity to present him with an ultimatum, to save his sister's life if he would agree to become a vampire. He accepted, and became the first fledgling of the Augurey clan.
