EARLY CHILDHOOD Rhona grew up with her brother Ewan on stories about Clan MacDuff and other Scotish clan's history from their father, a muggle historian who specialized in the topic. That was accompanied at the same time with stories about magic from their witch mother. Rhona was always interested especially in the tales and myths that involved magical creatures. Living in Kitkcaldy, and with her brother's penchant for trouble, they would frequently go to MacDuff Castle and the Wemyss Caves to learn about the local history and explore.

As the older twin, she's always been protective and has felt responsible for her younger brother. With his tendencies to go off and get into dangerous situations, her parents have put a lot of pressure on her to watch out for and take care of him. Though half of the time she goes off with him instead of putting an end to it there and then.
