"Where are you going?" The small genet asked, chasing after the large lioness. The question was ignored, as the yellow female just continued forward. The pride had finished migrating for a bit, but that didn't mean Ta'la'la would stop wandering. There was too much going on in her home right now that she just needed to get away.

The death of her brother was hard of her family. Their mother especially. Not only did she need to care for the four healthy cubs, she also needed time to grieve. Ta'la'la didn't think that was happening

What was the hardest, was having to tell their blind father that one of his sons had passed. Due to the disability, he couldn't even see the boy, leaving nothing but a silent memory of him. It pained Ta'la'la, having grown so close to her father throughout her life. She needed to get away, to clear her mind.

Aadi, the blue and brown genet, followed behind her, no longer speaking for she knew she would be ignored.

Their clan was once more on the move, not that Sagonigei minded. The large lion always enjoyed the movement and the change of scenery that migration allowed -- new sights, new scents, new adventures. With his family, and the rest of Mantis with him, there was nothing that the blue-eyed lion lacked. Life in the Ela'wadiyi was good, and this particular male had no complaints. What more in life could he possibly want?

Though they were still on the move, the clan had paused for the day to rest until the heat of the day passed. Sagonigei's paws still itched, so he had peeled away, deciding to explore on ahead, and to take a few paths that he would not likely see again anytime soon. The lion was, perhaps, more adventurous than he should have been -- but his roots would always take him back home. No matter how far he went, he would always return to his clan, and his family.

Trotting up a small hill, to better over look the new area, blue eyes did not expect to see a stranger ahead of him, trotting his way. Something smaller was following her, but he didn't pay the familiar too much mind; he was looking at the lionesses bright coat, and at the tattoos he could see. Whoever she was, he was immediately curious -- it wasn't often he crossed paths with strangers from the other clans -- and the tattoos meant she was no stranger to their pride, or some very lost rogue! What clan was she from? And what was she doing way out here? Honestly, it was a fortuitous day, as far as Sagonigei was concerned!

Without a second thought, he trotted forward, hoping his approach wouldn't scare her off. They were all Ela, after all, even if they were from different Clans. "Hello there, stranger," he called out in his usual lazy fashion. "Didn't expect to run into anyone else out here."

"Just go home, Aadi." Ta'la'la spoke, moving further in the direction the clan had just traveled. The female Kanesda remembered seeing a water hole not far from here, it would probably be a quiet place to just think before she needed to head back to the clan, and ultimately, the gloominess her family exuded.

That was, until, she heard another's voice. The Bird Clan female halted her steps, the genet following her crashing into her without enough time to even prepare to stop.

"Ouch," the familiar said, rubbing her head from contact with the lioness's leg.

Ta'la'la's ears perked at the voice, her blue eyes turning a gaze towards it. There, approaching her, another Ela member. The tattoos were a dead giveaway he had been born in the pride. Most rogues who had joined only had few tattoos to cover their bodies. Her parents were prime examples of that. Ta'la's eyes narrowed slightly however. He wasn't a bird clan member. She made sure to know most of them from their constant traveling. But the question remained, who was he?

"The Bird Clan travels this was after every Festival." The lioness stated, her tone firm. While she normally would be jovial, upbeat, and greeted the male with a typical introduction, with the recent events in her life, she was quite the opposite. "What other clan is passing through as well?" She knew the bird clan, but others? Yeah, she wasn't that savvy.
