Welcome! This thread is used to request feedback on your Angeni's Domain and soquili's powers; once approved, you may begin using these powers in roleplay. (Any powers listed in the Soquili Breed Rules & Abilities thread do not need to be approved.)
Domains are restricted to first gen, non-mock children pureblooded angeni or angenicorn with four bird-like wings. Angeni are not all-powerful; rather, they have powers over a certain field, called a domain. Similarly, a domain does not grant the angeni every power or ability under the domain; the power is finite, although the angeni's owner may determine the powers. As such, multiple angeni may have the same domain and their powers may not necessarily overlap with one another's. Angeni domains must be an idea, ancient or natural objects, element, or theme. For example, the Angeni of Mercury and Angeni of Water are allowed. However, angeni may not have domains over a group of people or religion. For example, the Angeni of Egyptians is not allowed, although users may instead pick an idea, object, or theme used by the Egyptians, such as ankhs, pyramids, or mummies. Finally, all powers must be used for the good of others. How "good" is defined is flexible, but be aware that domain powers must be cast in a positive light. For instance, the Angeni of Disease could be able to cure diseases, while the Angeni of Poisons could have an encyclopedic knowledge of poisons and how to turn them beneficial, such as using foxglove for heart failure.
Soquili Powers
Approval for soquili powers involve any abilities not endowed by the soquili's breed. These powers must be depicted in the soquili's art.
Submitting Domains for Approval:
Questionable domains (that is, domains that may easily be perceived in a negative light, such as Disease, Nightmares, and Chaos) no longer need to be pre-approved. This means that no domain needs to be approved before it may be certed. However, having a domain does not guarantee its powers will be approved. Once a domain is certed, it cannot be changed. If a user is keen on a particular domain and power combination, it is recommended that the user gets powers approved before posting the pet for certing.

Please fill out the appropriate form. Forms may be updated at any time, so be sure to use the latest one provided on the front page. Use one form per soquili. Do not edit them once posted! If you must change something or reapply (such as if your original powers need to be modified), cross out the form and repost, noting as much. Your stricken out form will likely be deleted to keep things neat so as to avoid multiple entries. You will be notified by PM once approved.

All angeni domains and soquili powers approved prior to 12/2/18, including applications posted in the prior Soquili Power Applications thread, will retain their approval status. They are marked in the masterlist under the term, "Grandfathered in ".
If an angeni is listed with a domain but no grandfathering notation, it means the domain itself has been grandfathered in. However, no public record of powers were found.
If you have a record of powers being approved by RP staff prior to this thread's creation but it is not logged in the masterlist, please provide a description of the powers and proof so that we may add it.

Powers
Truth Lex Aeterna may, if he wills it, choose to see the truth in a situation. The severity of the situation affects what he sees. If it is a simple white lie, he sees it clearly. If it something that hold great weight, he may only see clues that will help his case against the offender. If a soquili is skilled in deceit he may have to attempt multiple times - though this takes mental strain on him and he may need to rest before trying again. (requires prior approval from RP partner)
True Heart if a situation is truly tricky, Lex may see into the hearts of those he is placing judgement upon. He will see nothing but their morality (whether they are good or bad or neutral etc'.). (Requires prior approval from RP partner)

Domain: Prophesy- She dreams of things that may be or will be. The catch is she has to interpret them right, which is difficult at best.
Basically, I had it that she has dreams or omens. She believes them to always be true, but that it's her error if she interprets them wrong. Not to mention taht what she "sees" may or may not come true because of changing fates.
She honestly believes it and it'd be partially intuition/picking up on signs subconsciously.

Hey You! You Forgot Me! Username: Epine de Rose Who is Missing? Cyn Generis Documentation: I was on hiatus whenever the new power threads came in to existence unfortunately so there's no approval in the threads. When I spoke to Uta previously she indicated these would be grandfathered in.
Cyn has two powers that were used in RP, but he very rarely makes use of either of them. One takes an incredible amount of physical exertion to perform and the second is simply disturbing to him so he prefers not to.
Power #1: When he looks at an individual he sees them age before him. This doesn't mean they actually age, only that he sees their life progress in front of him to the point that they fall. In general this can result in him seeing them slumber peacefully as they move on to the next world, or he can see them in all their gory demise if they die of unnatural causes. He cannot tell who, how or exactly when these unnatural events (or natural) will occur, only that they will. It's simply a natural flow of time that's viewed at an accelarated rate and there's nothing he can do to prevent it - given he's seen more unpleasant than nice events, he's grown his hair over his eyes so that he only looks at an individual when absolutely necessary.
Depending on the choices the soquili makes after he has 'seen' them, there's no guarantee the path he saw will ever come to fruition. Soquili change their minds and he's not a seer, if they change path then time changes with them.
He does use this one occasionally (last time he used it was on his grandson), but given it's quite nuanced and lacking in detail, it's definitely a 'flavour' ability rather than one of significance.
Power #2 He has the power to reverse time around an individual by up to a day - he has ONLY ever used to this to 'slow down' time and to 'buy' time. He's used it in order to delay an individual's death so that a true healer can get there to save them properly. This was RPed as a very inappropriate thing for him to be doing as it resulted in him meddling with something he shouldn't; as such it drains him by huge amounts and he's often plagued by bad karma for quite some time after.
He has only used this secondary power twice, once in his origin story (this resulted in the death of his lover as punishment as he'd overstepped) and once to save another soquili during childbirth. Generally speaking he lets nature take its course and doesn't intervene, both interventions have been as a result of natural bias and normally he knows better.
I don't anticipate he'll be using this skill again as the circumstances it was deployed in were very niche and I don't expect him to encounter them again; but I did want to make you aware of them so it didn't come as a surprise if it was ever referenced in a "remember that time..." convo or something. n_n

Soquili's Powers: She's capable of breathing underwater like one would normally breath air for up to 12 hours without resting, and is capable of using her power to allow others to do the same, but it divides the time evenly between those using the power evenly (so if she shares with one person and with herself, they both can get six hours. Three people is four hours etc). She's able to turn it on and off at will, but must have a "Long Rest" (as in out of the water relaxing and getting some sleep) to regain time back.
Other Notes: I could have Sworn I posted her (And Itzpillicoatl's) powers somewhere and got them approved, but can't find them anywhere sooo. Using RE-defining list since they're on the list of domains

Soquili's Powers:
Encyclopedia of Traditions He's able to recall traditions from the ether based on the individual or group he's focused on based on unknown factors in a near Encyclopedic fashion: this could be based on the person's history, upbringing, or culture, even if it's lost or forgotten by the individual themselves (Such as an individual with Amnesia or who's biological parents died when they were young and wish to learn more about "Their people").
It's actually harder when he focuses on using the power, as it can overwhelm with the rapid onslaught of varying and sometimes opposing stimuli, so it's easier if brought up casually as part of a conversation, allowing the information to enter his mind in a more natural, memory like manor as it's coaxed naturally. Once he's seen a tradition he can recall it about as well as anyone can for something they heard recently/once: to retain he must either be asked repeatedly about the same kind, or write it down to look up later and research.
Due to the different factors that can be involved in traditions (personal experiences and rituals, cultural upbringing vs Cultural background etc), when talking with an individual, he can create a customized tradition for that person. This is more useful for Mixed-Culture herds or individuals who want to create a ceremony or ritual (Lifemating/funeral/celebration) to repeat as needed for their family.
Other Notes: Definition of tradition

b : a belief or story or a body of beliefs or stories relating to the past that are commonly accepted as historical though not verifiable …

Veil of the Moon needs to be reworked. It's too overpowered as is. An alternative idea is that she can cast a minor glamour/illusion that will hide a couple of soquili from view using the moon's light. However, if the moon is cast in shadow (ie: an eclipse or by clouds) or the soquili move out of the view of the moonlight (ie: into a cave), the illusion vanishes.
Recharging under the moon is perfectly fine and does not need any changes. Sugared rose scent is not approved as it does not fit the certed domain.
Once you decide what you'd like to do for the rework, feel free to re-post so Faith, or myself, can review it once more for approval. Until then, powers are not approved for RP use.
Defining Powers & Abilities
Soquili's Name: High Lady Crystalania the Hope-Bringer Owner(s): StrawberryRoseTea Soquili's Cert: Domain: Moonlit Romance Soquili's Powers: Moonlight's Caress: While under the light of the moon in any phase Crystalania is able to bless a being with a minor glamour that enhances physical traits they already have causing them to be more pleasing to the eye. For example it may make one's coat more silky, any hair more flowing, their eyes brighter, or enhance their coloring. The effect is minimal drawing more on the beings natural traits than on her power. This does not tax her much immediately but more than a few uses will leave her exhausted until she has time to recharge herself. Very rarely does she find reason to use it on more than one being at a time. It is only effective while under the light of the moon and fades completely once sunlight touches the sky. This power can't be used to affect herself although moonlight sometimes brings out her traits naturally.
Veil of the Moon: When the moon is half full or more, either waxing or waning makes no difference as long as it's more than half full, Crys is able to cast an aura over a couple or poly group that will leave them undisturbed while they are together for the duration of one night so long as the moon is in the sky. Moonset or sunrise, whichever comes first, dissipates it. This works by gently redirecting the thoughts of anyone who comes within the vicinity of the lovers toward doing something that takes them away from the area. The downfall of the power is that anyone under the influence cannot be found, even in the case of an emergency, until it has worn off. It is also extremely exhausting for Crys and the more beings she casts it around the more taxing it is for her. Using it leaves her unable to perform even her minor glamour ability until she has a chance to spend time under the moon recharging. She also usually has to take a day off from her normal duties and life to just lounge around and rest. While this power can be used on herself it is pointless because it leaves her too tired to enjoy any benefit it would provide.
Crystalania has a finite amount of power that she can exert at a time and absolutely must spend time under the moon in order to recharge it. The more full the moon the less time she has to spend under it. During the new moon she is lethargic and cannot use any of her powers. Crys has a natural sugared rose scent to herself and her powers. It clings to anyone she uses her powers on until whatever help she has given fades.

Soquili's Name: Eventide Owner(s): Calixita Soquili's Cert: Domain: Winter Soquili's Powers: Eventide's powers only work to their full potential during the winter season. They don't work at all during summer, only have half their power during the spring and fall, and take more energy to use. She is unaffected by the cold all year round; but is much more vulnerable to heat.
Survivalist's Blessing Once per day, Eventide may bless up to a small group of soquili or familiars to help them survive cold weather. The blessing increases their luck in finding shelter from the elements, a hot meal, a healer -- whatever struggle is more pressing and life threatening at the time. It also envelopes them in an aura of temporary warmth until their bodies are no longer in danger from the cold.
Ice & Snow Manipulation Eventide is able to manipulate snow and ice in small ways; she can do things such as freeze small amounts of water, summon a short flurry of snow, or manipulate snow and ice into shapes. However, she can't do any of these things out of thin air; the water has to exist for her to freeze, there must be clouds in the sky in order for it to snow, etc. She merely draws the elements out of their existing sources or increases their temperatures.

Soquili's Name: Subarashi Owner(s): Roarie Desu Soquili's Cert: Domain: Moonbows Soquili's Powers: Suba's powers only work when the moon is out and showing. So clear nights and sometimes during the day when you can see the moon. You cannot create a moonbow with no moon. He creates moonbows and almost glimmers most nights without thought, this effect is singular to him and does not project to other soquili or familiars without concentration.
Moonbow Dance Suba manipulates the moons rays to create multi colored light displays at night. A parlor trick really and only really useful during a celebration. He can cover a good 20 yards if he concentrates and wants to deplete the power completely for a few days, or course a smaller radius can be sustained longer and with less exhaustion.
Moonbow Blessing If he chooses, once per day and if he hasn't depleted his powers already, he can perform a moonbow blessing. It invigorates a general sense of goodwill and happiness, can make plants that wouldn't normally continue to grow at night do so and bestows a sense of serenity and peace. Other Notes:

Rejuvenate A passive ability that those who hang around her might live longer than expected.
Longevity A power to bless an individual with longer life. This blessing would be something she charges and uses directly. The longer she wants to grant someone longer life, the more power she has to put into it/energy she needs to use. Obviously she can't grant someone immortality, but she could gain them more time.
Other Notes: Approved by Uta via PM...I just forgot to officially post it.
Restoring Touch - Siri has the ability to revive dead/dying plants. The number of plants she can revive depends on the size of the plant as well as its condition upon revival. She can restore a field section of 8ft by 8ft of severely withered corn crops once per day. Reviving a large, tall tree she could do once per day. Reviving an overtly large plant, such as a fully grown sequoia, would require multiple visits over several days to accomplish. Using her powers causes her physical fatigue and she would need to rest a full 24 hours before using them again. She must have physical contact with the plant to use her ability.
Reviving Aura - Siri emits a passive aura that makes resuscitation attempts on soquili and other living creatures more likely to succeed. I.e. a soquili or animal receiving some form of CPR will have a higher chance of the CPR working. Other Notes:

Soquili's Powers: Persephone's powers are significantly weakened in the winter, though she may still use them - more extensive use of her powers may end up knocking her out for a few days and simple tasks that required no effort instead consume energy. In the Spring, her powers are amplified and she can perform greater tasks with less energy.
Passive Abilities Passively, when she steps, the grass or plant life beneath her feet is rejuvenated and healthy and small flowers may start to sprout (this does not occur in the Winter). She emits a floral scent and, as a result, is constantly surrounded by bees and butterflies.
Growth: Persephone has the ability to make plant life grow around her. This can be as simple as making a flower bloom or something more extensive like restoring plant life to an area that was affected by a fire or other natural disaster. The higher the level of growth, the more energy she uses. Making a flower bloom is no effort, but restoring an otherwise wasteland would require a lot of her energy and resting. This ability can also be used to heal damaged or sick plants but she must first identify what is wrong with them - more complicated illnesses or infestations require more energy and it isn't guaranteed that she'll be successful.
Identification: She has the ability to identify and classify any plant matter and any uses it may have (healing, poison, food etc). Additionally, if a plant is weak or dying, she can identify what is wrong with it and treat it accordingly using her growth ability. Because of this, she has extensive knowledge of healing plants, poisons and their antidotes, and delicious foods!
Pollinators: Knowing she can't be everywhere at once and that the world is a large place with many plant-life resources, Persephone has the ability to leave behind pollinators in her wake. Once a week, she can summon either a hive of bees or a kaleidoscope of butterflies in order to continue to pollinate the plants in her wake. Aside from the fact that they seemed to be instilled with her will, they are otherwise ordinary insects. They cannot be summoned (in the bees case) in order to attack.
Other Notes: Abilities such as the bees & butterflies I'll be using one of the customs items I purchased to add to her art.

It's an aura effect that works strongest on those in close proximity to him. The more people around him, and the more panicked/scared they are, the more of a toll it takes. For example, he may be able to calm a scared foal very easily, but if there was a herd of Soquili all freaking out, and he focused on calming them all, he would be worn out for a few days and unable to use this ability.
Safe Harbour: Jasper can naturally sense which way to go to reach a safer location if there is danger around. By physically touching another soquili, he can imbue them with this knowledge so that they can get to a safer place. While he instinctively knows the safer passage, he can only do the touch-transfer once per day, so would have to be physically guiding them if he wanted to help multiple people.
