The Kogarashi Market Place was once run by the street merchants before the founding of the Kogarashi Institute. After it's establishment the market was bought out by the Institute by offering protection to the merchants in exchange for profits. The roving patrols of ninja seen throughout the market are initiates of the institute, looking to make their mark.
Set to the east from the gates, the Gust district is a series of caverns connected within the larger mountains that house pretty much all of the shopping is done on the day to day. The cavern itself is massive, not even coming close to capacity on it's busiest of days yet still thundering with the cacophony of the markets. Workers and shinobi also, frequently, find themselves moving through here be it for work or trade. Here is the place where civilian and shinobi meet on equal terms of engagement. Strong winds howl through the Gust District, which is what gave it it's name.

Sentinel Vest [x1] < 1600 Ryo > An extremely durable vest padded multiple times in order to protect against all shapes and sizes of physical projectiles. Unfortunately, it's rather heavy. Armor Type: Heavy. Formless and Simple projectile techniques lose their descriptive increases when impacting this armor.
Tosei-gusoku [x1] < 1500 Ryo > Traditional samurai armor. Very strong against Bukijutsu and Taijutsu attacks, but has brittle joints and is very heavy. Armor Type: Heavy. Any effects that would change the classification of a technique that hits this armor (i.e. Simple being treated as Complex) are negated, unless the damage inflicted is purely bludgeoning.

Blast Away Shield [x1] < 200 Ryo > A flimsy arm shield capable of absorbing explosive attacks pretty well- keeping one whole side of the owner safe! It typically breaks after absorbing one blow though. Armor Type: Light.
Chakra Dispersal Gloves [x1] (out of stock) < 3500 Ryo > Allows the user to disperse waves of pure chakra in order to nullify other manifestations of pure chakra. The amount of chakra used to disband must be ten plus the equivalent of the original chakra construct. ( If something is made with 100 chakra, 110 chakra must be used to disband it. )
Sealing Arm Brace [x1] < 1000 Ryo > A heavy brace that prevents the spread of infection, bodily or otherwise, through the area of the body surrounded by it. This effectively renders a limb immobile when placed on it. It is sealed shut by five locks, which are held in place by a one-time cost of 500 Chakra. While it is worn, all Taijutsu and Bukijutsu techniques cost 10 more Stamina to execute. Armor Type: Heavy, but does not apply any movement penalties due to the above restrictions.
Vambraces [x1] < 1000 Ryo > A set of two very heavy braces to be used primarily in Taijutsu training. When worn, they cost the user 20 Stamina extra for every Taijutsu or Bukijutsu technique executed, or a base of 5 Stamina per post of activity. After wearing them for 200 posts and at least two months, the extra cost disappears. Armor Type: Heavy. Wearers fully acclimated to these ignore up to 6 descriptive increases to an opponent's fortitude and treat opponent armor as one step lighter when striking with the vambraces.

Iron Leg Braces [x1] < 1000 Ryo > A set of two very heavy braces to be used primarily in Taijutsu training. When worn, they cost the user 20 Stamina extra for every Taijutsu or Bukijutsu technique executed, or a base of 5 Stamina per post of activity. After wearing them for 200 posts and at least two months, the cost remains but the user can now move as they normally would. When the braces are removed they receive a moderate speed increase. Time and space would warp in the center of the street. The purple tear in reality would open long enough for a tall, muscular man adorned in black with crimson eyes to emerge, followed by a meek blonde haired boy with mismatched eyes. The populace would look around at them indifferently after a moment of shock and awe. "Hmm. Looks a lot different since the last time I was here." He said, referring to the time he traveled here to purchase training equipment while a genin of Sunagakure.
Masato's eyes would catch something that seemed suspicious. A man with a snowflake emblem on it would take note of Taylor, signaling to another ninja before they would motion one another to exit the area. Masato would sigh, vanishing in a flurry of debris and appearing with his fist firmly resting within the nearest man's jaw line. As the man would recoil, bouncing backwards, the other two would hesitate and look at one another. " New friends?" He asked Taylor as his crimson hues fell upon them. " Kogarashi, right?" He asked the fools. One would bumble through his words, wanting to know what buisness it was of Masato's. Things didn't look good for the boys.

Taylor felt weird as they traversed time and space. How did they get here? Was this truly the power of the sharingan? Before he could ask his questions, Masato moved. When he pinned down the man with the special snowflake, Taylor looked confused. "Hardly. Why didn't I get one of those though?" He asked as his hands instinctively reached for his chain scythe. Without looking Taylor twirled the chain on his right side and then extended his arm toward a running ally of the pinned down man. The chain wrapped around his leg as a puff of smoke broke out of Taylor's back pocket. Horus emerged from the smoke and flew up as he then slammed down with both talons upon the target. When Horus pinned that man down he scanned the area for more members. There were multiple people running, including two with the snowflake symbols. However, a half a dozen or so chose to stay, as they each drew various weapons. Taylor started to twirl his chain along his right side.

With the six men around them preparing to combat the two, Taylor's chain would come in handy....Masato was indeed glad that he had handed it over to his friend. He would close his eyes as strange chakra began to flicker behind his eye lids.
" Step back." He commanded. His voice full of concern and anger. Anger at the men who would report back to the leader that the newest recruit was ready to sever their ties.His concern, clearly directed at Taylor as his Mangekyo was opened wide. His eyes would rest on the bandit directly in front of him.
A mythical black flame would ignite without warning upon his crown without warning. The flames that no light could escape would crackle eternally upon him as they would continue to ignite in the same path that Masato would look at the foes. The new group of six who brandished weapons would find their arms ablaze. The flames dared not tread where Masato's eyes did not orchestrate them.
After mere seconds, Masato and Taylor's foe would be dead...or incapacitated. With the exception of one. Masato would squad before the last concious one and glare into the man's eyes. " Do....you want to die?" he asked plainly. " What did you plan on reporting?" the man would squirm as he feared for his life. He would admit to telling their leader that the boy was seen with the same man that he was accompanying in Uzushiogakure.
Without much information to go on, it seemed Taylor was being targeted. " Is his life in danger?" he asked plainly, needing to know if his friend would be singled out. The man didn't seem to be under the impression of such dangers, though nobody had ever defected, so it was uncertain.
Masato would look about, allowing his Mangekyo to subside. His vision had become...slightly blurred at long distance since using both the Kamui technique and the Amaterasu technique.

Taylor backed up at Masato's order while Horus took to the sky. The technique his friend use caused absolute devastation. Taylor's eyes widened at the sheer power of the attack. If the two truly fought, then Taylor was positive that he wouldn't make it five seconds. When the interrogation yielded nothing, Taylor took a sigh. "It seems as though Kogarashi wishes to cut ties with me. I suggest we head back to Uzu." He said as he turned to his friend. Horus landed beside him as he continued to speak. "I recognize that I am a wanted criminal there, but at least they won't kill me." Taylor word's were filled with sorrow as his heterochromatic eyes shifted away from his friend. He didn't like how much of a burden he was becoming on his friend.

Masato would shake his head. " No. Get rid of em' all so they'll think twice about following." He said as the streets filled up with more enemies. Masato would grin mischievously as he readied himself for the next bout. He calmed himself momentarily before the first would attack. Instinctively, he would tilt his head to the left as a blade would pass by his hair only inches away. Pivoting on his left heel he would draw back his right fist so that when his body moved to the direction of the attack it would unleash a powerful knife hand that would thrust through the shoulder of the enemy.
Several other opponents would continue to surround the two. These opponents however would be a mixture of Kogarashi and another faction....the faction's dress would be familiar to Masato, perhaps to Taylor too. The land of wind's style of clothing. The two would dare not hesitate to defend themselves as the factions would both attack Masato and Taylor. It would seem they had been caught in the middle of some other events and would have to battle their way out.

__ The enchantress appeared in Gimangakure's central market. All of the citizens were clamoring to get out of there. Kagami was forced to move quickly and swim against the powerful stream of people. The crowds wanted to leave and escape collateral damage from the ongoing hostilities. "Run, you idiot!" An old man yelled at Kagami as she continued to make her way through. Eventually she elbowed her way to the center and her eyes recognized the two men from earlier. Were they not in Uzushiogakure some time ago? She figured Taylor was arrested and was a lost cause and yet he was back in Gimangakure. They were being attacked by many Kogarashi agents. "Stop!" The Kogarashi member commanded as she approached them. She did not recognize the men in the other uniforms who did not obey her command. The Kogarashi agents would cease combat and bow before Kagami's will. "Yes, Lady Kagami!" The lower ranking agents were forced to listen to her order. The power that brought her made her feel a rush of adrenaline.
Kagami weaved several hand signs together as water pooled in five areas before forming five ten foot tall mirrors. The water then formed ornately designed double-sided mirrors with glass surfaces but mostly of watery construction. One acted as a shield next to Kagami's right that she could move behind as a shield. Another one floated behind her to guard her back. The three remaining giant mirrors of water formed around Masato and Taylor. They would see their reflections in the giant mirrors that surrounded them but they were not quite caged in. The Land of Wind men who tried to lunge in were blocked by the powerful mirrors that now guarded the two men. When they all looked into the mirrors they felt that they were suddenly unable to move their legs in complete paralysis. Kagami kept her hands folded in a tiger hand seal as this effect occurred. Taylor, Masato, and the Kogarashi operatives were not targeted and therefore not under the effects of the mirrors' powerful hypnosis.
The azure haired beauty would stand close to her mirror defenses and yet still in view of Taylor and Masato from the sizable gaps between the three mirrors that protected them. "Welcome back, Taylor. Sorry about the rude welcome from the other Kogarashi agents. That was not by our orders." Her voice feigned convincing kindness as she spoke to the lad of perpetual unending confusion. "And who's this?" Kagami asked while glancing at Masato. She recognized the black-haired man from earlier but would not mention that she was spying on them. She was not certain if she needed to treat him as a threat so she remained guarded for now.

The mirrors' broad surfaces are perfectly flat and will completely reflect the images of everything they're angled toward on both sides. Taylor found himself surrounded once more. Did these people not know how to stop? Horus took to the air in order to avoid getting caught in the crossfires. The boy readied himself for the attack. And then it happened. Mirrors formed around the two men and paralyzed their attackers. Taylor caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror. He realized that his left eye and right were of different colors. His left eye was of pink hue, while his right was a bright blue. He felt like one of them wasn't a true color. He turned away from his reflection as Kagami approached them.
He felt immediately on guard. This woman had much more confidence in her abilities than he recalled her to. The casual manner she handled a dozen men proved her to at least be as capable as Masato. She definitely was not on that level the last time they met. It was for that reason Taylor felt as though it was better to be respectful than to interrogate about the wrongdoings of their rogue organization. At least, for the moment. "He's with me. He got me out of Uzushiogakure." He said. He didn't want to say more than necessary at the moment. In part because he didn't want to compromise Masato's standing within his village. For another part he wanted to make sure that, should they need to, that Masato's abilities could get them away quickly.

Masato would watch as the droves of Kogarashi ninja would break ranks and kneel before a woman clad in black and dark purple. Her ice blue hair flowed behind her as she demanded their actions stop. Masato's nostrils flared as he exhaled sharply from them.
Suddenly, his eyes would be drawn to the hand seals she weaved as she moved forward. His eyes would trace every hand seal. Mirrors would form around the group that would be within his grasp, however, a genjutsu cast through them with the additional hand seals would be captured clearly. The woman spoke, welcoming Taylor.
Masato stepped between Taylor and Kagami, his red eye sharpened on the blue haired enchantress as he grinned. " The name's Masato." His gruff voice stated plainly as he stood off with her. " Lady Kagami" he said with a pause following. His eyes shifted back and forth between the Kogarashi and land of wind agents. " Why would the land of wind be sending agents after you..." he said, tensions rising. While he had moved to Uzushiogakure, his allegiance still lied with the land of wind and it's former Kazekage.

__ Kagami could sense a flicker of fear in Taylor. The crazy boy's overly brief responses did not serve to alleviate her suspicion of his anxiety. She would simply assume, however, that the hoard of men trying to kill him was the reason. The enchantress held her hands in a tiger hand seal to keep the Land of Wind agents ensnared in her powerful enchantment. Brilliant golden eyes glanced over at the subdued agents and then back to Masato when he asked the obtrusive question. She responded immediately without hesitation despite the audacity of his questioning. "Pardon me, Mister Masato, but I believe they were attacking you before I saved your hide." She quipped before returning her hauntingly beautiful glance towards Taylor. "Taylor, you belong at your home in Kogarashi." Kagami said in a comforting tone before she winced noticing Masato's spiral forehead protector on his person. There was no doubt that he was a shinobi of Uzushiogakure. She would now focus on Masato once more. "Thank you for getting my friend out of that Hell hole and bringing him home. As a symbol of my gratitude, I'll let you walk away from here alive instead of killing you for wearing a village symbol in my presence." Kagami's tone immediately turned from comforting to threatening in no time. For her this change in emotional expression was easier than changing clothes. She was prepared for violence if that is what this dull brute wanted.

Taylor's right hand extended from his side away from him with the hand open. "Horus!" He shouted. The bird shrieked as he flew into the air. Horus' body dissolved into lightning as only a sword with a golden hilt remained. The sword dropped from the sky and landed in Taylor's open hand. It was then that Taylor pointed the sword toward Kagami as he leaned his body to the right and his muscles tightened. "You will not ever threaten him, or anyone else from my past." Taylor ordered with eyes as sharp as his blade. In truth, he had no idea how he knew to do that. It was instinctual as he felt the need to protect Masato. However, just as the need to protect him grew, so did the tattoos from his curse mark. They formed thick lines all through his arms and around his neck. They constricted around his face as there was clear signs of agony. 'Damn it.' He thought as he kept his focus on his threat. He couldn't back down, no matter what. He gritted his teeth as he returned his arm so that he could hold the blade with both hands. He had to steady himself if he was to work through the pain. He hoped Kagami would not turn this into a fight, particularly because he was not certain if he would win. But he knew that he could not allow her to stand there and threaten Taylor's one claim to his past. He had to defend it.

The clear coverage of nature chakra engulfing him. " Figured you were a two faced witch." He said confidently as Taylor and Masato began to warp in a clockwise motion. Kagami would find that her genjutsu had been mimicked and turned on herself to keep her from pursuing. Their images fading into a single vanishing point. All traces of themselves would be removed as Masato's last words would linger.
Masato and Taylor would find themselves in the dimmension that they had used as an inbetween for travel. " Release the transformation Blondie. We're going back to Uzushiogakure. " After a moment for the events to unravel, the two would teleport into Uzushiogakure.

__ Kagami watched Taylor attempt to threaten her with his brandished sword. When the markings grew along his face that intrigued her. However, she knew now that she would have to kill both of them. Meanwhile, it seemed as though she touched a nerve when she said that she saved them. She was not offended when he called her a two faced witch as that was her specialty. Masato then attempted to use a genjutsu that he learned without hand signs and through his eyes, but that did not appear to work. When Masato opened up the wormhole Kagami immediately weaved a string of hand signs together and released a powerful blast of water. They teleported away before she could make contact, but it did serve to wash the Land of Wind agents away as well as destroyed some of the businesses in the market on this street. This street's portion of the area was completely flooded. Kagami let out a frustrated grunt before allowing her water mirrors to reduce to water and glass shards before turning around and heading back to the Institute.

Falsa bounced along with her small entourage consisting of her Preta, and two new Paths: one a large man in a stone mask with stone bracers, and a small girl with a black bob cut and an almost amused expression that mirrored Falsas. Seeing Mugen and Falsa was a fearful experience for a few who knew what the story had become of Mugen, but that was of no consequence as Falsa bought her armaments, and then left. [Bought a Skiajata (Its just a katana that looks cool) for herself and all of her three companions.]
Choka had been spending most of her time as of late training and perfecting her technique with a greatsword. She had a long way to go still, but before she could train more, she needed to pick up a snack to keep her energy up. The massive fighter walked her way through the busy marketplace and took glances at the stalls while she passed. It was mostly tools and other necessities being sold here, but after a few moments, she detected an amazing smell. The fighter pushed her way closer and closer to the smell until she came across a booth selling okonomiyaki, one of Choka's favorite dishes. She was ecstatic. There was no way she could pass up on something like this.
When Choka arrived at the stall, there was one of other patron who was just receiving a paper plate with a okonomiyaki pancake on it. The man smiled and graciously accepted before bolting off into the crowd. The salesman shouted for him to get back, but the patron had already scurried off. Choka approached and looked off in the direction the patron went before turning her attention to the stall owner. The man looked totally furious and distracted after what just happened.
"Care to enlighten me on what just occurred? If I had to guess, then I'd say he just ran off without paying you." The stall owner looked up to Choka, who towered over the man. He grumbled a bit and then spoke up.
"Yeah, that guy has been stealing from all over the place. I didn't think he'd swipe anything from me too, but there he goes. Say, if I pay you to teach that b*****d a lesson, do you think you could rough him up? I'll throw in a free meal as well. What do ya say, eh?"
"Hmm..." Choka lifted her hand and cupped her skin between her fingers and thought for a moment. This decision was really a no-brainer, but Choka hated seeming too eager for anything. "I'll do it. He won't be stealing from anybody else any time soon." Choka turned away from the booth and headed into the crowd. She got a decent look at the culprit, but it would be a difficult task to find that one man in the marketplace.

All relevant formless weapons styles become formless greatsword. • I CAN SWING MY SWORD → Choka is accustomed to using swords of all types, but favors the greatsword most of all. All bukjutsu techniques cost [5] less stamina to perform. Can only reduce a cost to a minimum of [5] stamina.
• All Douka users have deep chakra pools. ( Chakra pool maximum +40. ) • After training, Douka users are able to take on the characteristics of any solid or liquid. • Although the Manipulation techniques have ranks, this is simply for learning purposes.
