High Reaches
Delris of green Qeryth - Age 24
Like an ogre, he has layers. On the outermost, public-face layer he’s a quiet, friendly, inoffensive guy who keeps accidentally falling into bed with girls and feels awful when it looks like it’s going somewhere and then doesn’t work out. The next layer is reserved for closest of friends and family—all sass and love pinches. The third, carefully concealed layer is literally snark, vitriol and a terrible addiction to temporary physical gratification. His innermost layer, shut away as a childish lie for so long that he’s forgotten it’s there, is much the same as the outside, but with a powerful need to be loved and a desperate fear of rejection. Messing around with him is easy, but if he’s to be seriously romanced, it’ll take someone willing to chase after him after having her heart broken, possibly more than once, until he realizes “This is it. This is the real thing. And it’s going to be okay.” Formerly from Nabol Hold, studied at Fort Hold/Harper Hall, came to High Reaches about 4-5 turns ago. Comes with a brother (Osris, a Candidate).
F’rin/Farin of blue Yudokhath - Age 26
A lucky Magic Clutch weyrling! He feels he would adore a lovely gentlewoman who would adore listening to his ideas and encourage him in his studies. He most likely would prefer not to have a mate with superior intellect or training. However... we'll never know what works unless we try! Formerly from Fort Hold/Harper Hall, has been at High Reaches for about two turns. Comes with an older nagging mombrother and his white dragon (A’myl and Viyanakerth), and a laid back oldest brother who’s a Wingsecond with a big, huggable bronze (Ay’ril and Yffengeth).
Karone (Candidate) - Age 20
A displaced Holder princeling dealing with complete loss of all he loved to Thread -- as well as his former servant Impressing at their very first hatch and now already fighting Thread, while Karone has been left standing on the sands during every hatch he has attended, leaving him all but useless in the fight. Most recently his thought-to-be-dead brother Karou (now K’rou) appeared out of nowhere for Magic Clutch and Impressed That Bronze, choosing to shun Karone for the sake of his selfish dragon. Formerly from Rusadh Hold in the Telgar area, came to High Reaches about three turns ago, shortly after Thread returned. Nabbed for romance things.
Lesta (Candidate) - Age 24
A reckless girl who has been through Some Things. She’s got a lot of guilt hanging off of her and has a strong desire to be better as a person. She also desires approval in the worst way. She is technically HR but recently had her heart broken quite suddenly (literally overnight) and is participating in the candidate swap to Western to escape from it. Has been at HR for less than a turn.
Le'x of brown Kratoth - Age 18
Once a servant and now a newly-minted wingrider, finding his feet as his own man as he and Kratoth learn to fight Thread together. He's a very innocent, sweet person and his soul leaves his body at the slightest hint of interest from a female, especially if she is pretty. It doesn’t mean he hasn’t looked, wondered or wished, though! Formerly from Rusadh Hold in the Telgar area, came to High Reaches about three turns ago, shortly after Thread returned. Possibly nabbed for romance things.
Osris (Candidate) - Age 24
This guy’s a people person, a hugger and a great shoulder for shoulder-related needs. A good boy who takes a lot onto himself. I can picture him either causing certain types to fall in love with him quickly, or falling in love fast himself, depending. He’s a terrible wuss and good for getting reactions if you’re a prankster. Formerly from Nabol Hold, studied at Fort Hold/Harper Hall, came to High Reaches about 4-5 turns ago. Comes with a brother (Delris).
Venin of blue Raumoloth - Age 25
She's loved and lost, lost again, and lost some more. Why won't anyone stick around longer than a night or two? What's wrong with her? Well, the answer to that question is "quite a few things." But if there's a good man out there willing to stand by her side as she grows out from under her harsh memories and bitterness, he will have her love and loyalty for life. Has been at High Reaches for about two turns.
Western Weyr
Euma of green Reth - Age 28
You will literally have to fight Reth, a doberman in dragon skin, first. But Euma herself is a sweet little cinnamon roll. She is a bit shy and cautious when it comes to romance, especially the physical aspects, but this perky social butterfly wants to be loved just as much as any other girl. Former mercenary, came to Western about three turns ago, shortly after Thread returned.

An Impressee who left his former life and plans behind when he swapped from HR for Western’s Spooky Clutch. A gentle, sensitive soul. [Warning: I have very little muse for him, though!]
Talela of gold Vimiath - Age 74
Western's resident foster mom extraordinaire! She's already lived a long life and experienced as true a love as can be, but her heart is still warm with room to spare for a dashing silver-haired gentleman. She’s been at Western since she was 14… so 60ish turns.
Coming soon: Kainna (Candidate) - Age 27
Queen of impulsive decisions that inevitably embarrass her to no end. They always sound like such a great idea at the time! Whether that major fault is accidentally funny or just plain frustrating to her future mate is yet to be seen. She’s a mindhealer still trying to keep up with her craft in case she ages out someday. Formerly from Fort Hold/Harper Hall/Healer Hall, came to Western 4-5 turns ago. Comes with a male BFF/platonic soulmate.

Tall, blond and handsome thing made of muscles and manliness. All he’s missing is the beard. (Too itchy.) He’s super straightforward, sweet and smart, and would dig a relationship where no one’s ashamed of their softer feelings and there are smooches aplenty. Formerly from Fort Hold/Harper Hall, came to Western about three turns ago, shortly after Thread returned. Comes with an older brother.
