Hoglah was no medic. Any information regarding serious injuries mostly came from whatever knowledge gleaned in school. That’s why it was reassuring to have Heartbreaker around. She would have never been able to determine whether someone’s condition was serious unless it was painfully obvious. Her hand lightly rested on the woman’s head as she administered the luck that Heartbreaker requested. This particular individual needed the extra bit compared to everyone else who just appeared to be petrified by the fear that took hold of them. Her fingertips were feeling a bit numb as Hog administered about 1/5th of her luck to the victim. Hopefully, the addition would help them pull through the worst of it but that would honestly depend on how things play out from here. Anything could happen that might potentially worsen the victim’s current status.
"It’s done." She didn’t need to make a long-winded conversation as her hand retracted from the injured person. "Alright then. I’m counting on you to take care of her." With a definitive nod, Chance was up and away from the scene. If Heartbreaker said that he had everything under control then she had no reason to doubt him. 'I hope he can do it! I hope I wasn’t too mean when I spoke to him. I’ll pray that he can help her.' Of course, she wasn’t going to show this soft side to anyone.
Chance was running back to the team when their baddie began to shift their attention over to the donut shop. That didn’t exactly look like a good sign as something came hurtling towards the building. Pinky looked back to see the lack of customers and the injured individual. That was mostly reassuring but Heartbreaker was just making his way back into the shop. Was there any guarantee that he would be able to run out unscathed? Well, she didn’t want to risk that! With some energy collecting in her hands, she tossed over to the building. It was well within her sights as she targeted the sides of the building’s roof. The projected results were to have the ceiling collapse in a particular fashion that would allow Heartbreaker to come out with a few injuries as possible. When she saw the man coming out of the fast-food location, she soon returned her attention back to their target. [TLDR: Chance gives the woman extra luck, uses her energy to help have Jesse get out of the donut shop unscathed and arrives at the scene with Heartbreaker]

xxx" You had your chance sir. You are not compiling with us so we will have to take you in by force." It did not matter what that woman said to him! You don't go blasting people because of what they say! Someone besides her could of got serially hurt. " Scarlet Spider!" Mizuki hissed at him in a whisper as he called the woman a not so nice name. She shook her head at him before the man before them started to talk about Kyos woman? Was she here? Mizuki was about to look around for her but she clued in that this man was talking about her. The black haired woman just narrowed her eyes at the man before her, not showing any emotion to that comment. The man had then jumped into the air and shot another blast at the donut shop that was causing the roof to start to collapse on the people inside. Some of those people were from the team!
Turning to the shop, she wanted to run over and try to help as many peoples she could but she knew that the two that were already in there were on it. She had faith in them and knew that they could handle it. She couldn't let there scout member of the team take this guy out on his own! Scarlet Spider had then told her to follow his lead and went off without another word. " Scarlet Spider wait!" Mizuki turned back to look at Daisuke, not sure what she should do as her teammate went off without telling her a plan! Clinching her fists, Mizuki ran after her team mate and watched the two in the air. Mizuki had no way to attack the man while he was in the air so she would wait for the moment he was on the ground to strike unless told otherwise.

Jesse had been about halfway through the donut shop when suddenly he paused for a moment at the rumbling and his eyes widened when he heard the sound of a loud bang and then the roof began collapsing down on him and fasts**t!He thought to himself before he sprinted out of the shop as fast as he possibly could. It seemed like the building was thankfully just collapsing around him but that didn't stop stray debris from hitting him in the head and back, many of which were quite heavy, Thankfully nothing serious collapsed on top of him just as he completely dove through the shattered window and rolled onto the concrete as dust settled from the collapsed building. Jesse sat there on his hands and knees as the sheer adrenaline was still coursing through his veins, causing his hands to tremble a little bit. He caught his breath for a moment as he carefully stood up and glanced over at Chance and Starlight before following their gaze up to Scarlet Spider whom was now in the air to fight. Jesse paled a little bit, while Spider was in the air the three of them couldn't do much for him, what was he doing right now!? This wasn't the time to be showing off "Doesn't he realize that Toon is just here to observe and step in when things get bad!?"he questioned Chance and Starlight before then shaking his head a little bit. Scarlet Spider was getting too ahead of himself, they needed to stick together"And things are going to get bad quick if we don't fight as one unit"he stated as he tried thinking of some kind of plan. It was so easy to come up with a plan when there was no pressure and he was just sitting in the comfort of his desk"Errr...SPIDER PULL BACK NOW!"he shouted for the other man in worry, this was not what they should be doing right now! Having Spider so far away from his team was not a wise decision, they would be at their strongest together. He just hoped that his words weren't too late.

The kid really wanted in on the action? Why not...fight as a unit? Instead, he came for him. That was, a mistake. Kyo had his peculiarity down almost to the exact nature. Though, if he was thinking that, why would he come into contact with him? If anything, probably be best to use range attacks that didn't involve his body. No matter. With his might swing, he was coming for Hades with a kick, and Hades just was going to try and break his leg. Simple and easy. Gathering energy into his right hand, as he came flying for the horizontal kick, he went to throw a punch straight at the kick so the two could collide. He could of just released a shockwave and blew him back before the kick connected, but he wanted the shockwave to smash straight into the spider's foot. He wanted to break the spider. Whether it work or not, he wouldn't know but he did know one thing. The release of the shockwave still should be enough send him back flying. He didn't have to release it in a distance. He could release it by contact as well. He was not someone you would want to be close to. At least far away have better chance. Still, these were kiddos right? If connected, it was going to be a little bit of a toll on Hades. Putting some actual power behind the punch, the recoil to his arm was probably going to be enough for it to feel bruised. Which isn't too bad. Only when it fractured, would he start to worry. He didn't think they will push him to that point though.

And so there Kyo was, sending the kick in, but was too late. If anything, it showed the difference in experience between the two. The way Kyo was virtually moving, and attacked without any planning had shown that he had put in too much faith in his spider powers. There's only so much a Peculiarity can do when it's just beginning to create itself. Not even Kyo knew much and now he was paying the price for it. Right as the kick connected, Kyo's spider senses were going on high alert, as his foot would connect to the man's fist It was just a regular interception, but Kyo's senses picked up more than that, as he would feel the heavy stinging in the back of his head. Right on cue, the man activated his Peculiarity, and would use the sheer blast to send Kyo bakc down on the floor at high speeds and have him drag hard and fast against the floor, where he would flip on his front and back. Jesse and Mizuki were definitely right. They needed to attack as a team to bring him down. Oww... Jesus.... Kyo said, coughing as he would try to pick himself up. Slowly staggering on his feet, he felt the sharp sprain on his foot AH!! His leg definitely was bruised from that. It might probably be in more pain than he's worth. Nngh... I'm sorry guys... Kyo said, as he felt the guilt on him. This was just some lowly thug on the streets, and the fact that Kyo would lose his temper like that showed how bad it was. We need to take this guy down as a team... Anybody got a plan? Kyo asked, muscling through the pain. Now he definitely needed to get serious!

Pinky checked to see if Heartbreaker was all good. She really did need to get a better handle on her powers. But, as luck would have it, it seemed like her teammate was in good shape to move around after the building collapsed. It was possible that he might need to be checked out by a healer when they got back to the school later today.
Though that line of thought could wait a bit as she tried to refocus on Mr.Hogthespotlight. She had no idea what was going on in the brunette’s head. He was charging right into the thick of things and ordering people around. Though she had no qualms with dividing their team to help multiple locations, it felt as if Scarlet Spider was leaving his teammates in the dust. She looked at Starlight who was on the ground, waiting for something to come her way. Chance vaguely recalled that the other girl’s ability had something to do with her vision. If the villain was going to be up in the air and away from Starlight, was it possible….!!! 'Maybe the villain is trying to pick us off one by one?!' That was an alarming thought as she was internally panicking. You really couldn’t judge a book by it’s cover.
With how unfortunate these turn of events led, it seemed like Scarlet's injury was knocking some sense into him. Chance approached the injured teammate and, hopefully, had the rest of the members nearby. She had to think, quickly! "He blasts some kind of energy from his hands and feet." Well, the girl certainly stated the obvious from what she was able to witness. "Maybe if we can bind them, we have a chance." But how would that happen? She needed to think harder. The girl breathed in and looked at her teammates. Their abilities quickly flashed through her head. "If we can lower down his guard and get him out of commission, we could have a shot." It was just spitballing ideas but something could come out of it. "Heartbreaker, how lucky do you think you’d be able to allure him?" If given the word, Chance was planning on administering some luck into her teammate.
Pinky placed a hand on the pheromone dude while another was placed on Starlight. "And if Starlight can get close, she could use her ability." While speaking, she kept her voice hushed. Still, she never told any of them what to do. How could she? She was no leader after all. In her mind, the girl kept panicking and had the desire to go back to the school and hide under her sheets. Too bad she couldn’t show that persona right now.
[TLDR: Chance gives out some ideas and asks questions to Heartbreaker and Starlight]
xxx It seemed that Mizuki was not the only one that thought that Scarlet Spider was acting to quickly without a plan. Not only that but he was acting without his team! He was getting to ahead of himself! " If we don't think of something quick he could not only seriously get himself hurt but others as well!" The young woman known as Starlight said looking back at Heartbreaker before looking back at the fight that Scarlet Spider had gotten himself into. Her eyes widened at the sight when Scarlet Spider was struck by the villain. " Scarlet Spider!" As the younger student yelled in pain, Starlight quickly hurried over to him, helping him up and backing him away to the others before the villain tried to attack him again. " What were you thinking? You could of gotten yourself killed just now!" The woman said as she helped Scarlet Spider to the two other teammates.
They were not going to win if they tried attacking him one at a time however each person wanted. the Villian would just pick them off one by one! They needed a plan to work together and fast before it was to late. Other people in the area could get hurt. What they knew so far is that this villain could blast some kind of energy through his feet and hands, which could blast him into the air and also cause serious damage as they have seen a few times already. " Blind him?" Mizuki said, mostly to herself as she looked at Chance. It seemed that she was onto something so the raven haired girl listened to what she had to say. " Chance that is brilliant!" Starlight gasped as she smiled brightly at her team. " If Heartbreaker can get him closer to us I should be able to use my Shooting Star ability to blind him. That can give us a window to attack but… Once I use my Shooting Star ability it will break my contact lenses and everyone will be venerable to Space Dementia. Once I use the Shooting Star ability you guys can not look at me in they eyes till I put on my spare contact lenses. No matter what."
She had a serious face on her for once. She meant what she said, no matter what happens they could not look at her in the eyes nor come close till she had her spare contact lenses on. If anyone on her team got Space Dementia who knows what could happen.

After being helped by Mizuki, Kyo really had it hit deep. Why wasn't he thinking of them as his equals? He's been so used to helping others thinking that they needed everything done for them. If anything, Kyo was just trying to please everyone, to the point where he wouldn't trust them with this. It has to change now. The leg was hurting like hell, and he surprised it wasn't torn off from the power of that blast. Wait.... that blast. Kyo said, as he thought of it. Things that usually send out a massive shockwave usually has recoil towards it. Thinking of a cannon from a tank, he realised that they always jump back due to the sheer force of the kinetic energy it exerts when shooting. Even the metalic sounds banging together made him remember. Guys, he might be dealing with heavy recoil. It can't be good on the human bones to be taking that much force after shooting out those explosions randomly like that. Kyo said. He knew Chance's plan could definitely work. If he was able to take all that recoil, we'd be dead a while ago. So we gotta take advantage of his intervals. I know I messed up, but I'll make it up to you guys with following your plan, Chance! Kyo said, reaching down and attaching new web cartridges to his wrists. Starlight, ready to destroy your contacts? Kyo asked Mizuki, as he would charge in. Instead of throwing himself again, he would aim his hands at the man, and shoot pellets of web at him. Now GET OOOVER HERE!!! Kyosuke would yell at the man, trying to yank him back, as he would shoot a long line of web at his chest.

Jesse frowned deeply when he saw Spider get flung back like a rag doll. Thankfully he at the very least managed to escape with only a couple injuries so with that he nodded his head"You better be sorry, we were worried!"he scolded the other but Jesse was just relieved that Spider was OK and mostly unharmed. But now they had a bigger problem and that was the villain before them, they needed to really come up with some kind of plan, however it seemed that Chance had come up with a plan which caused him to grin a little bit as he caught her drift"Depends really but usually it doesn't take much luck but I won't say no to some help"Jesse was already preparing his pheromones for the man in the air but for now he'd wait for the signal and now with Starlight on board he grinned a little bit as they were ready, however before they could jump into action Jesse remembered a quick warning"Listen before we start I need to tell you guys, I can't control how he interprets the love he'll feel, so be prepared for anything. Love can make people crazy..."Jesse explained before nodding his head at his team as he separated off from the group so that once the peromones reached him he'd have all his attention. Of course he watched Scarlet Spider get back into action by shooting webs which he supposed was fine, Jesse just needed this momentary distraction. With that Jesse would offer up the his patented sexy grin as his pheromones would finally rise up towards the villain, once reaching him the man would notice a sweet aroma, probably taking the form of his favorite scent. With that Jesse would let out a small whistle to try and get his attention"C'mon big guy, why not come down here and have some playtime with me?"he called out shamelessly, running a hand through his pink hair a bit as he flared his open jacket a bit more to be as enticing as possible"Just you and me, so come and get it"it was always hard to tell how some would react to the sudden surge of love and desire. So far the guy seemed pretty wise to stay up in the air and out of their range but then it also spoke volumes about how nutty the guy might possibly be since he did attack that woman for a rather poor reason. Either way Jesse had to be ready for anything.

xxx They had a plan, the only plan thy had as they did not have time to sit around and think of anything else. The team had one shot to make this work so hopefully luck was on their side, which thanks to Chance it should be. Turning to Heartbreaker she nodded as he explained that they did not know how this man would react to his peculiarity. This was all a gamble but it was all that they had! " No holding back alright?" She gave them all a smile before she turned her attention at Hades. " On it!" Mizuki nodded her head as Scarlet Spider asked if she was ready to destroy her contacts. She let Scarlet Spider make their move first, with Scarlet Spider shooting webs at Hades to try to pull him closer and Heartbreaker trying to lure him in with his charm so to say. The raven haired girl waited for her opening before she would make her move. If Heartbreakers charm worked on Hades and came closer to the group and was not so far off the ground, that was when Mizuki would strike.
If Hades was close enough, that was when Mizuki moved. Quickly Mizuki would run towards the man who caused so much trouble and once she was passed everyone in her group and they were out of her eye sight other then Hades is when she made her first attack. " Hey!" If Hades made eye contact with her, he would see a blinding light, shoot across Mizukis eyes that would blind him for a few moments. Doing this attack shattered the girls contacts in the process so she had to be careful where she looked as to not infect someone with Space Dementia. Making one last move, Mizuki would run up to Hades and leap into the air. Why did she leap into the air? This girl was one of the biggest klutz in the school so what was she thinking? She was just going to fall flat on her face right? Well if you really knew Mizuki you would know that she is a black belt in judo and in a fight was the only time was Mizuki not the biggest klutz you ever met. She was almost a different person! With ease and grace, Mizuki jumped into the air and round house kicked, hoping to hit Hades in the face. If she made the hit, Mizuki would land on the ground with ease and he space eyes shut tightly. " Scarlet Spider now!" If Hades was hit by Mizukis flying roundhouse kick and blinded they had a few moments where he would not be mobile which was Scarlets Spiders chance to tie him up in his web.

At this moment, everything had been seeming to work well together. The combined attacks with Jesse, Hoglah, and Mizuki. It all not only worked well, but gave Kyo all the needed time to come in. The web shots worked perfectly, as well as Jesse's charm spell. And even better, Mizuki's eye power stunned him pretty well. Right afterwords, he would go in for the final attack. Of course, that was all said and done when Mizuki pulled off that amazing round house kick to his face. I mean... I can pull that off too, ya know... He wouls mutter to himself, not trying to show embarrassment from his earliest attack. Still, now was his chance and it was more evident with Mizuki's words telling him it's his turn to web him up and immobilize him now. Got it!! Take This!! With a high leap from the opposite side of where Mizuki launched Hades, Kyo was there with the rest of his web cartridges ready. Leaping into the air, Kyo would spray a highly concentrated amount of his web fluids right towards Hades before sticking him. There, Kyo would rapidly solidify all of that web and spin in the air at high speed, spiralling the cocooned Hades in circles before whipping him to the floor. Whatever was left of his cartridge, however, Kyo would use to spray it down at Hades, sticking him to the floor he would land on. Hell yeah, does what a Spider can!! Kyo would shout in victory, as Kyo would then wince in pain, and kneel down on the floor. His leg was still badly hurt, which was keeping him from standing at all. The whole stunt he pulled was just his pure will keeping him from feeling the pain. Damn, that hurts like hell... You guys fine? Kyo asked his friends.

Holy s**t this experience had probably torn away several years of his life. Every instinct told him to bust in and take out the culprit himself while keeping the students at a distance and safe. But that was not what he had been instructed to do. So he had forced himself to stay towards the periphery and watch. Damn it, why did Hei-chan make me quit smoking! Though he probably would have still been nervous while chain-smoking and probably would have burned himself or something by now, but still. He was going through toothpicks (his alternative while he was still training his brain to stop craving nicotine) like oxygen, and had even accidentally swallowed one. After what felt like a lifetime, the assailant was taken down and none of his students were dead! He had made sure to call the police as soon as the fight began, so they should be there soon. He threw his latest toothpick in the trash then approached the students. "Cops are on the way, they can handle him from here." He looked them each in the eye, except Mizuki of course, he knew about her perc and was not interested in getting space dementia. "Anyways, it's good you guys leapt into action quickly, and splitting up distract the assailant while the others got the civs out. Chance, Heartbreaker, and Starlight, good work on a plan that used your strengths. Scarlet..." he pinched the bridge of his nose, he could already feel a headache coming on. "I would chew you out, but I think you learned the lesson, unfortunately in a more painful way than it should have been. Once the police arrive, we are getting you to the nurse's office." He was pretty sure he had handled that fairly well, no point in reinforcing a point that was already well enforced.

For days leading up to today, he had felt so nervous that he thought it quite likely that he might faint on the spot. Of course his darling Hei-chan had picked up on this, but Daisuke would always explain it away as being nervous about the field assignment the kids were going to do (he didn't want to send anyone home in a bodybag, but he also knew he wasn't supposed to interfere). Later, the story had changed to still being tense from the field assignment, plus being nervous about the giant banquet that would be held for all of the city's heroes. " ((I don't want to embarrass you,)) " he would explain, " ((I'm going to be introduced in conjunction with you. I don't want the other guests saying, 'oh, I never knew Akiyama-sama was interested in anthropology, but it would appear he has a Homo habilis following him about.' Though, you had better watch what you do, or I might devolve to Homo erectus.)) " This was also true: he had never been good with social things, and with his beloved so recently reinstated, he didn't want to be the social faux pas that ruined his reputation. But of course, neither of these were the total reason. The primary reason he was so nervous was because today was the day he was going to finally make a real move towards showing Hei-chan how much he cared for him: today was the day he was going to propose. A million and one different calamities had been running through his head, most of them pretty much impossible, but they filled him with terror and self-doubt. What if he couldn't fend off the alien invasion? Would he have enough time to confess his feelings if the sun careened towards Earth? It was stupid of him, but his brain had ditched reason all together and was making him a nervous wreck. Last night, he had been unable to sleep for the longest time, though his heart had calmed itself just a bit (he could never stay too anxious while in his love's arms), his mind trying to prepare for every possible obstacle. Whether it was by design or fate, he had felt Hei-chan's grip tighten around him for just a second, could feel just the slightest increase in pressure as their bodies were so close, and finally his mind had reached its epiphany: he needed to stop being such a selfish little brat. This coming day, Tuesday, May 28th, was Hei-chan's day. Everything was to be perfect for him, and it would be far from perfect if Daisuke was fidgety and nervous the whole time. He had already come up with a damn romantic plan, now all he had to do was smoothly put it into play, and Hei-chan would be whisked off his feet, absolutely ecstatic with what his little Dai-chan had prepared for him. For the first time in over a week, he was actually able to sleep well, knowing that he knew his man well, and as long as he didn't psych himself out, everything would go well.
That morning, he had awoken fairly early, and after giving his love a quick little kiss (hopefully it would not wake him up), he started getting ready for the little "outing" they had planned. The story was that they were going to spend a little family time before the big ball, and that was totally the only reason that Hei-chan, Mitsu-san, Koyanagi-sensei, and him were all going to be at the Square together. Of course Mitsu and Seiji knew the real reason, but they seemed quite willing to play along so that it would be a surprise. Though both had warned him that there would be a fair number of tears shed after the proposal; so long as they were tears of joy, Daisuke didn't mind if he got soaked. One benefit of his overly-analytical mind: he had already picked out what he was going to wear and had made sure it was all pressed and ready. He quickly donned a deep purple with lavender blossoms summer yukata, and a lavender sash which matched the blossoms. Yes summer and dark colors didn't exactly go together, but Hei-chan liked to wear darker clothes to contrast with his luxurious moonbeam hair, and well, Daisuke didn't mind if he was part of that contrast as well. Besides, shades of purple were totally his color palette. He made sure to slip the ring in its little case into an inner pocket while Hei-chan wasn't looking. Daisuke had already explained that the mysterious object he kept hidden was a surprise for Hei-chan that really ought to be left a surprise, but he wasn't about to let on that the surprise was getting found out today. If he was asked why he was so dressed up, he had a simple reply: " ((on our first date, I didn't have an understanding of how one was supposed to dress. I went for practical rather than becoming. This time, given it is a celebration for all of us, I want to be sure to look presentable.)) " Yes, he had to be perfectly presentable for this momentous occasion.
Though every fiber of his being wanted to drag Hei-chan on over to the ferris wheel, where he had already arranged for them to have a bit of privacy. But no, that would be way too suspicious. So instead, he managed to keep things casual and absolutely no rush. If there was any real difference in his demeanor, it was that he had managed to keep the same smile going all day, and he was kind of keeping glued to Hei-chan. Not clingy glued, just, the furthest apart he seemed to allow was for them to only be holding hands. Now what he really needed was an excuse to steal Hei-chan away, then he could get this whole shindig really on a roll. He knew Mitsu and Seiji had his back, and they would help him out on this. They all were a very tight-knit family, after all.

Something was up. He could never really tell what, but there was definitely something going on. He wanted to believe that what Daisuke said about the heroes banquet and the field missions were true. But would those really keep him at so much unease that he would have trouble sleeping at night? You could say that he was a little sensitive to social cues after being the target of the media for so many years with his "scandal". Even now, it was still strange to be reinstated as a hero, and even to have his teaching license back. He had a hard time believing that things were suddenly just looking up for him sometimes. Perhaps something negatively big would come and ruin everything he has worked at until now? He really hoped that didn't happen. (("Dai-chan, you really look nice in that yukata, but you didn't have to get all dressed up for a family outing." )) The man would say with a chuckle as he gently squeezed his lover's hand. Mitsuru and Seiji were trailing in the back behind them, chatting about classes, science and music. Random topics to probably keep them from having to listen to the lovebirds in front of them. Suddenly, Heisuke gasps and moves in closer to whisper to Daisuke with a sensual tone. (("Are you dressed like that because you are trying to seduce me?" )) He made an embarrassed and happy expression as he made a waving motion with his freehand at his side. He looked like a squealing schoolgirl. (("In public? You're so naughty Dai-chan!" ))
(("Could you not be so gross in public?" ))The man pouts as he looks back at Seiji and sticks out his tongue, Mitsuru only chuckling at their antics. Heisuke's attention turned back to Daisuke before he gave him a kiss on his cheek. (("We have to behave in public, but you can seduce me all you want when we get home.~" )) A few more kisses to the cheek and the man was humming in glee. It seemed like it was going to be a really good day, and he was looking forward to it. He could ask all his questions later. What the surprise Dai-chan spoke of was, why he has really been so stressed lately. Why the heck he was so damn cute all the time. They were all very valid questions that he would try to get his answers to in one fell swoop as soon as they were behind closed doors and completely alone.

Was he trying to seduce Hei-chan? He supposed in a way he was, though he had a different goal than what was implied. He wasn't trying to weasel out some physical intimacy, no, he was trying to prime his love for a life-long commitment. " ((When am I ever not trying to seduce you? Can't have you realizing there are nicer, more attractive people out there who would kill to be in my place.)) " Not that his Hei-chan would ever ditch like that, but he knew it was absolutely true that there were plenty of people out there who wouldn't mind stepping over Daisuke to get to Hei-chan. Well, only over Daisuke's dead body would that happen. Even if his reaction didn't surprise Daisuke, he still noted with delight just how damn cute he was. There was a youthful innocence to him that not even some of his students still had. Thinking of it that way was a little disturbing as was wondering if those little moments, were they something his mother had observed with glee back when they were in high school? Actually, that was the only down side he had discovered about this whole situation: his mother's knowledge was a tad creepy at times. At the same time, he was getting some very interesting info and stories, so not even being a second gen crush was too bad.
He gave a slight smirk at Seiji's comment. In times of yore, he would have completely agreed, but now he was one of the ones being "gross," so it was a different matter. Though he wasn't entirely sure if this was an excuse given to him as an opportunity, he was going to take it. " ((Well, perhaps we can find a mutually beneficial solution. If you two will excuse us, maybe we will find some privacy on the ferris wheel? Worked rather well the first time, maybe it will hold a little more luck for us?" It was on the ferris wheel that Daisuke had sort of bluntly declared them officially an item. Once again, he really had no idea about romance back then, and though he still struggled, he was getting much much better. As soon as permission was given, he peeled off with Hei-chan, taking the lead, but not exactly dragging him away. As they got nearer, they could see that the ferris wheel was not moving at the moment, " ((I hope it isn't broken. Or at least, I hope it waits to break until we are up near the top by ourselves...)) " That would have been epic foreshadowing if he hadn't arranged all of this himself. He approached the operator and politely asked, "excuse me, is the ferris wheel closed?" The operator looked up and gave a slight nod, "We had it closed for some maintenance, but it's all good now. If you want, y'all can take a ride real quick before we open it up to everyone again." Daisuke nodded, "yes please." Turning back to Hei-chan he added with a smirk, "I wonder if I just jinxed us?" He wondered what Hei-chan thought of all of this. Not that Daisuke couldn't be assertive, but he wasn't usually one to direct what they did, and today he was definitely taking the lead. Well heck, Hei-chan had to know by now that something was up, but at least it wasn't too much longer until the big surprise was revealed.
He escorted Hei-chan onto the ride, his composure slowly fading as the excitement of the coming moment continued to well up inside him. The car rose steadily up and up, up until it hit the top of the wheel. All of a sudden, power was cut and the wheel stopped. Moreover, the operator was out of sight. They were completely alone up there. The normal reaction would have been to panic or start trying to figure out how to get down, but Daisuke was beaming. " ((I should probably state that I bribed him yesterday to do that, to make sure that you and I were the only ones on this ride. I needed someplace besides the house where I could be alone with you. We need to talk.)) " Holy s**t he hadn't meant for it to sound like a breakup! When he had gone over it in his head, he hadn't gotten that impression, but saying it out loud...yikes. Hopefully his obvious joy would help to dismiss that notion. He took Hei-chan's hands in his own, resting them upon his knees, gently stroking the backs of his love's hands. " ((Hei-chan, you are my life. Before I met you, I was dead, waiting for the reaper to come collect what was his. And damn if I even knew I had given myself away like that. But the moment I saw you, hanging out in the refreshment building of all places, I genuinely thought I had walked in on a god. Your smile and gentle words rekindled my soul, and every moment I spend with you resurrects a little more of me. I probably shouldn't admit this, but until you made me promise...I had already planned out my suicide if I lost you, because, well, you know...geez I really shouldn't have admitted that.)) " He shook his head slightly. That wasn't an impression he should be making: that was a shitty form of guilt tripping. " ((I'm not trying to guilt trip you or anything. Whatever you do of your own volition is fine. Just if we had been separated prematurely... Anyways, you are worth more to me than life itself. I don't know how I ever survived before meeting you, and I doubt I would have survived much longer without you. You have made me a better man than I had ever thought possible, and I will be better yet, if only so that I may feel worthy to receive your love. You are the kindest, gentlest, most loving person I have ever met. Your presence lights the whole world. You bring this troubled soul peace, my beautiful moonbeam. Mitsu-san tells me what an extraordinary father you are, and from what I have seen, I can't help but agree. If having you as a lover is anything like having you as a husband, then I know you are also a perfect husband.)) " He removed a single hand from the embrace, though for a moment it only rested near the inner pocket of his yukata. " ((Well, there I go presenting a whole argument of reason for every decision. Let me just summarize, I guess.)) " Finally he took the little box out of his pocket, then ever so carefully shifted off of the seat so that he could kneel before Hei-chan. " ((You are the love of my life and I will never let you go. So,)) " he opened up the box, revealing an ivory ring with a bas relief of two hearts intertwined upon an infinity sign. It was exactly the right size, Daisuke had temporarily "borrowed" one of his rings to make sure the size was perfect. He hoped that Hei-chan hadn't missed it too much while it had disappeared... " ((Akiyama Heisuke, will you marry me?)) "
