▪Thoughts: What does she know about me?II▫Where: Sky Villa->Nasya’s OfficeII ▫With Who: Boss Lady Nasya and RinII ▪Wearing: Blue-collar shirt [shown in picture] with black pantsII

The pair of rubies watched as his one clue was placed on the desk. He didn’t care to respond to the woman’s clarification regarding his answer. From what he had gathered, this Nasya was planning on changing what the Exiles were aiming to do. It all sounded pretty new to him, even if she would argue otherwise. Yet he held his tongue because talking about this subject would not get him any closer towards the information he actually wanted. Even her comment regarding “cause over longevity” was met with more silence. Who knew how long it would take the group to reach their “cause”. In all honesty, reaching their goal would take time and effort, something that this new Exiles had yet to do in his eyes. If their organization didn’t last long enough to see their plans pull through, then what was the point? It didn’t seem like she was actually looking for a response from him anyways. That made it easier on the redhead as they watched the Leader in silence.

The woman’s tidbit about amnesia being “fun” was met with a blink. That certainly was one way to look at things. He could have taken that statement as a personal jab to his current situation but that would get him nowhere. Getting all fussy and irked over someone’s words may have been something the demonic woman was gunning for. Well, he wasn’t about to show much empathy for his own emotions at this moment. It was only when she revealed knowing about the man that a spark of interest lit up his bored expression. According to the manner in which Nasya spoke, it seemed like that bit of information would come with a price. Fine with him, he was ready to get his hands dirty if it meant knowing who he used to be. This “task” was probably one of the things Carter had to do to get a piece of his past self. ”You desire an explanation that may or may not satisfy you?” There was a slight c**k of his head as their tone continued to paint him as a bored man. ”Because I’m willing to do what I need to do in order to figure out myself.” The redhead gestured towards the card on the table. ”That led me here. Who knows if it was supposed to lead me to you but it did in the end. If you feel as if my loyalty isn’t genuine, then do what you must to me until you are satisfied. I’m a man who has nothing else to offer but himself and this peculiarity.” There was a shrug as he placed his hands well within his pockets. Either she’d be satisfied with his honest confession, turn him around or give him a test.

His crimson gaze turned to the door as someone seemed to approach it. Even the girl named Rin picked up on it. ”Seems like one of your subordinates wishes to have a word with you.” Carter strained his ear and listened to what the door had to say. ”Male, piercing green eyes, and goes by the name of Galileo.” The name didn’t jog up anything in his memories. It seemed that the lackey wasn’t alone though as the door continued to confess. ”Seems like he brought someone along with him, someone new.” Since the door didn’t seem to recognize the ashen-haired male that came with Galileo, it was safe to assume that this was someone new to the organization or had never been on this floor before.

He might not have understood what she meant or anything about her past. How could he? She didn't bother to give him any information from her own mouth. If she deemed it important, she would reveal more to him at a later date. It was as simple as that. When she spoke of longevity it was in regards to the organization in general. If it disbanded, for whatever reason, she could find other ways to accomplish her goals. There could even come a time where she felt like the group as a whole was not needed anymore.

Nasya didn't know why he showed a slight change in demeanor, but she wasn't about to question it. Instead, she listened to what he had to say about his own goal and loyalty. Her eyes studied him after he finished. "I'm going to keep this for now." She said as she tapped the card which laid on her desk. There was something she wanted to confirm. "I'll give it back." It was the only clue he had. She wasn't about to keep it from him. If he wanted answers, it was best not to toy with clues when they were looking to mutually benefit from each other.

Both Rin and Carter were alerted to someone being at the door before her. Since the person didn't knock in the end, she had a good idea who it might have been. Her gaze returned to Carter when he spoke. A smile spread across her features as he got everything right. Until he brought up James. "I don't know where you get your information from, but don't make assumptions from what you have gathered. I only want to hear facts and truths." Assumptions get people killed. She didn't feel the need to point the fact out, however. She also wasn't going to reveal how James was not new to the core group. He might have been the newest member, but that was different. "You're free to go relax in the living room. Get something to eat from the kitchen. I will need to talk to you later." Her gaze shifted to Rin. "Keep him company." For now, she wanted to hear what the other two had to say without any new members hanging around in the room. Nasya may trust Rin more than most she just meets, but the woman was still new.

When Galileo heard the door open he stood up. Green orbs glanced over to wherever James was at in order to grab his attention. It was their turn. The man walked down the hallway expecting the younger male to follow. He gave a nod to the two who would end up walking by. Galileo stood by the door after he walked in--only so he could close it after James had entered. Then he moved to stand in front of the desk. Not feeling the need to sit in one of the chairs. Nasya was sitting back behind the desk once more. "Show me what you found."

▪Thoughts: Might as well get something to eatII▫Where: Sky Villa [Nasya’s Office]->[Living Room]II ▫With Who: Boss Lady Nasya and RinII ▪Wearing: Blue-collar shirt [shown in picture] with black pantsII

Though he was told that he would get back his card in due time, it didn’t make this any easier. Rubies were concentrated on that small card as he tried to ingrain its very image into his head. Who knows what would happen to that object, but if he was going to get it back in the future then it was possible to learn what it went through. Not like Carter was expecting the woman to understand. After all, who would necessarily believe that everything had a voice? In response to her statement the redhead gave a solemn nod. What was the point of saying anything at this point? Not like anything he’d say would actually make a difference. He did wonder what exactly she needed their object for. ’She must know something. I just need to figure out what it is.’ For the meantime, he’d just have to bid his time and wait. It wasn’t like his memories were going anywhere and there was no guarantee that what what she had to say would jog up anything. Actually, was there any guarantee that she’d even tell the truth? The amnesia man’s peculiarity would be the judge of that.

That apathetic look continued as he was informed to not make assumptions. ”It isn’t my assumption.” There was that clarification but little else was said on that matter. Not like people would believe that a door would be able to remember all the faces it saw. If the door said it didn’t recognize a certain man then who was Carter to disbelieve them? Inanimate objects were far more truthful than most organic lifeforms found around him. ”Very well. I’ll see you when you call for me.” Since he was pretty much told to leave, that was exactly what he did. With just a brief nod of farewell the amnesia man left the room. Leaving the door open for the girl he didn’t wait to see if she would actually tag along. It almost felt like they had a babysitter thrown at them. ’Great, just what I need, a kid to babysit me.’ He strolled through to the living room and glanced at the two individuals. Judging from the two males it was clear who this “Galileo” was. The colorless-haired man was the one that the door didn’t seem to recollect. Hearing what the unknown’s clothes had to say, it looked like their name was James. Well, that name didn’t jog up anything and neither did their appearance. ’Probably has nothing to do with my past.’ There was no guarantee that this was actually true, yet.

Carter made his way into the kitchen as instructed to do. ’Might as well grab some grub while I can.’ The fridge was opened up to see what morsels would be targeted for consumption. Looked like the villains stocked up an assortment of snacks. ’Guess that makes sense. Who knows if anyone actually lives on this floor.’ Grabbing a jar of cut up peaches, it seemed that this would be his prey. After going through some drawers to find a fork, the redhead took a seat on the couch and began to chow down on his snack. ’Eh, it will do.’

xxx It seemed that the redhead noticed that there was someone outside the door as well, but not only did he know someone was there, he knew who it was. How did he even know someone was there in the first place? Or even who it was when he was sitting on the other side of the room? Maybe his ability had something to do with it? Most be, there was no other way for him to know. Rin could see why Nasya would want someone like him with his talents in the group then, it could be useful. The lavender haired woman's eyes shifted to look at the two for a moment as Nasya said to never give assumptions and the redhead claimed that it was not his own assumptions. What did he mean by that? Rin glanced back at the door then at the floor again. He was an odd one...

Rin then felt Nasya's eyes on her after she told the redhead could wait in the living room. Rin lifted her head up and turned to face the leader as she was given a order to keep Carter company. Rin nodded and let the redhead walk out of the room first before she followed after grabbing the book she was reading. Did Rin want to leave Nasya and be left watching over this new guy? Not really, but she did not complain or say anything anything about the matter. It did not matter what Rin thought about the matter. The loyal guard dog followed behind Carter down the hall when she noticed the other two males that she had never seen before. She watched the two carefully before her pale blue eyes glanced down at the floor once again. One of them must of been at the door, one of Nasya's people that she has not met yet while the other a new member. By Carters description who was behind the door, the male with green eyes was one of Nasyas people.

Once the two were in the living room, Rin stopped and watched the redhead male look through the fridge. Rin had already eat so she was not going to get anything to eat. She was thinking about maybe sitting on the couch and read her book, just like she use to when she when Sebastian was still around but then the new member took over the couch. There was plenty of room for Rin to sit and read her book on the couch but was she about to do that? Hell no. So, the young female leaned against the wall by the hallway entrance so she could hear if anything happened back in Nasya's room but still have a eye on Carter and if anyone came up through the elevator. Rin then opened up her book that she was reading from before and started to read. The woman did not say a word to the male, she had nothing to say to him. If he mad any movements though, her lifeless pale blue eyes would glance up to see what he was doing before glancing back down to her book.

NASYA STARK
Location: The living area with Rin.

She arrived with Rin early in the morning. Nasya just felt more comfortable flying under the cover of the dark night sky. That's why she had a tending to arrive or leave the villa right before the sun would peek out over the horizon. It was a great view. Although Rin was with her, she could do whatever she wanted at the moment. The Exile Leader was there to have a meeting with her second: Jasper. It was a different experience--having him as her second. Technically Kaden always filled the role in the past. It wasn't as if the hellfire wielder would just do whatever she'd say without question, but they had a lot of history. Working with Jasper, who also dealt with finances, was like a breath of fresh air. He helped her look at things differently at times. It was also beneficial he knew most of the old members in and out.

Progress has been made over the last few months. Was she satisfied with the amount? No, but she probably never would be. The longer things stay as they were the worse things would get. Rushing things would get them nowhere, however. She had to be patient. The world was against them. One just had to look at the news coming from the Orphanage incident. Accusing them of causing all the destruction and death. It was appalling. No matter. The main goal was accomplished and the truth would come out later.

Nasya came out of the bathroom after washing her hands and made her way over to the grand window. It was a spot she liked to take up as she watched the small beings below. She didn't expect Jasper to arrive nearly as early as her since they agreed to meet around ten in the morning. There was no rush. Galileo and Keon were sent to scout the school, but nothing else was really happening today. At least nothing to be concerned about. This meeting was just to make sure everything was running smoothly.

xxx The last past four month have been fine for the Guard Dog. She had gotten closer to her new "master" and along whith the other Exile members. Rin got along well enough with everyone for the most part but it seemed the woman had taken a more liking to Nasya of course but also Sam. He seemed to always be nervous around her when they first met which she did not really understand but now for the most part he seemed fine with her and considered her as a friend. It was still a little strange for someone to call her a friend but she didn't really mind. She did did not fully understand the word anyways. What she did know is that Sam was important to her and if anyone tried hurting him she would have no problem bitting them.

Another thing that happened these last past few months is she got back into touch with another who was important to her and that was Haruki. They boy and he both lived on the streets together for a few years before she met Sebastian. The two had each others backs on the streets before he soon became someone important to her. Once she joined the Exiles though, Rin started to see Haruki less and less. thankfully though, the two were able to see each other again and she learned that he was working and now a student. The lavender haired woman was happy for him. He was to good to be on those streets. She was sure he could be dead now if it was not for her helping him back then. He was to kind, and thats what got people killed out there.

Today Nasya and Rin would be going to Sky Villa to meet Prophet. Rin still did not fully trust the man yet but he had not done anything to harm the Exiles nor Nasya yet. He was rather helpful to Nasya so Rin left it be for now. She did trust him a little better then at the start but she still was not sure about the man. They arrived early so they were the only ones at the Villa. Rin remained quiet as she red a book on what was once what she called her sofa as she let the time pass. Rin of course stayed alert, and any sound she heard, her pale blue eyes would glance up from her book and look towards where the noise came from. Once she determined that the noise was not a threat, she would look back at her book.

When Nasya came out of the bathroom, Rin had just finished reading her book and put the book down. She watched the older woman walk towards the window before she got up and walked over to her, standing a few feet behind her. " Prophet should be hear soon… Everything seems to be in order." Rin said a bit softly as if she did not want to disturb Nasya from whatever she may be thinking.

"Do you have a second to spare?"

Jasper Dean Frost
"Prophet"

Villain

He was sure Charon could have scheduled their meeting for earlier, and been perfectly happy with it, but he wanted to believe that out of consideration to him, she had set it a bit later: at 10 o'clock. It was still a bit on the early end for him, but with the sensory deprivation chamber he had recently purchased, he was finding that he was getting the best rest he had ever gotten, and was starting to feel more alert and energized, not that he would let others know that. He chose to dress in business casual, or at least his version of business casual, which meant a three piece suit in burgundy and orchid, but it was only cotton and he was only using gold cuff links. As per usual, Mr. Hälle dropped him off at the front door, though this time Miss Love accompanied him. She was carrying a slim briefcase of dark patent leather, while he carried...absolutely nothing. He was decidedly not so antiquated as to believe it was his duty to carry things for a strong independent person, besides, she was the secretary and he was the boss: it was the natural order of things. They rode the elevator up to the top floor, which required a special key to access. Once there, he proceeded to the main room, Miss Love following diligently behind. "Good morning, Ms. Charon, Miss Takashi." He addressed them formally and with a slight bow, as he was wont to do, which always seemed so charming with his proper British accent. "Do you wish to speak here, or would you rather somewhere on the premises generally more private?" With most anyone else in the world, he would have gone through more pleasantries and flattery in order to get them more amenable to his wishes, but he knew better than to do that with Charon: she was a focused and determined woman who liked to keep things always progressing. He found it a bit tiring, but she generally let him do as he wished so long as it did not hinder their cause, so he was thankful enough for that that he would play the game her way.

She didn't respond when Rin walked over to update her. There was nothing to mention so she wouldn't speak. The other female would know it was just how she was and there was no meaning behind not replying. Nasya wasn't being rude in her eyes. She didn't even turn to look at the two when they walked in. Not right away. It was right before he was about to speak when she turned to look at her second. A slight smile played at her lips as he greeted them. It would have been fine to talk in the living room, but professionalism was something she kept up in most cases. "We can go to the office," she stated as she began to walk in the very direction, "you two can stay here." Nasya finished as she glanced from Miss Love to Rin. It wasn't a big deal since she didn't typically dictate who of his own lackeys he could reveal things to. She trusted him to be smart with information. Rin knowing things always wasn't a big deal since she was way loyal. They didn't need to all be in the room, however.

Nasya was soon sitting in the comfy chair behind the desk. She waited for the door to be closed and Jasper to him positioned in front of her like normal. "Give me the updates." It was the typical way she asked for him to lay out any changes, progress and important information. Although she let him deal with finances, she still wanted it touched on just so she knew they were in the green. There were different projects going on. Some dealt with: like Queen. It seems they successfully got the heroes to think the original group disbanded. Nasya didn't want ties to the old way after all. The other past event which didn't go exactly to plan was moving along nicely now--as far as she knew. The Orphanage Headmistress tried to spin a tale to make them look like the savage ones, but it seems the detectives picked up on her lies to some degree. Anyone who had access to the news could find such a thing out. That's why she wanted a real update in regards to the issue. Mitch planted some evidence for a reason after all. The projects they were directly involved in mostly dealt with the academy and hero headquarters. Some other smaller things were going on and other future projects awaiting attention. For instance, Nasya didn't know what was going on with the hospital situation.

xxx There was no answer from Nasya which was normal and Rin knew this. The younger female remained silent and simply looked out the window, mostly looking at the sky line and at the birds flying. Rin had always wondered what it would be like to be a bird, to simply just fly wherever she pleased. Nasya flew often, and even took Rin along for the ride at times which it took some time to get use to for Rin. As the young woman watched the little birds outside she then heard the elevator start moving before most people could. She turned her head tot he side to look at the elevator for a moment before turning her body to face the elevator door. It was most likely Prophet but just incase, Rin was ready to attack if it was someone not welcomed.

Luckily for everyone, it was Prophet and Rin did not have to bite anyone. Rin stepped to the side so that Prophet and Miss Love could walk up to Nasya. Normally, Rin keep her head down and just let her K-9 seances take over to watch over Nasya but she kept her pale blue eyes locked on Prophet. When the words a more private room was mentioned and agreed on, Rin was about to start walking to the office but before she could take a step she was ordered to stay there with Miss. Love. Rin looked over at the Exiles leader for a moment before nodding slowly and stayed in her spot as the two walked away. Did she want to stay here? No but she did what she was told. She would be able to hear if anything went south in the office so the guard dog looked at the ground and just waited till she was needed.

"Do you have a second to spare?"

Jasper Dean Frost
"Prophet"

Miss Love handed him a folder from within the briefcase as he walked past her to head towards the office. He already knew all of the information, but having it with him would give her a read out on things as well as remind him should the unthinkable happen and he forget something. He closed the door to the office behind him, and gave her a moment to settle into her chair as he remained opposite. The moment he was invited to speak, he gave her a rundown on progress. "Investigations on the attack at the Orphanage have proceeded to the Ruins. There are currently several detectives and a few pro-heroes on the site at this moment. News stories about the attack have cleared any blame from our current lineup, so only those who ignore the news would still be miffed at us. After forever, investigators tracked down the body of Queen and the abandoned warehouse, leading them to believe that the group formerly under Queen is no more." As if in formal conclusion of this segment of updates, he removed a small packet of images and info from his folder, and slid it over to her.

"Abnormal financing and patient observation suggest that the local hospital, Starlight Hospital, is part of the issue. I do not yet have full concrete evidence, but the likelihood that illegal testing and experimentation is going on is incredibly high. I have initiated contact with a woman who's child is a patient there. The woman, Sayuri Hironaka, alias XChang'e, is a fairly small time criminal with only a few years active. However, she is highly protective of her daughter, Hana, so she should prove easy to convince to join us. We are checking out other medical facilities in the area, see if they have any connections as well." Once more, he passed the information over for her to peruse at her leisure.

"We have successfully infiltrated the school. A two man team successfully accessed the premises and were able to get a basic layout of the facilities, including finding a dungeon of some sorts. Our student informants unfortunately are participating in a patrol today, and so could not immediately follow up lest they wished for their cover to be blown. However, once things calm down, we will be sending word to them to explore the dungeon more thoroughly and report back." The fact that the place had been described to him as a dungeon was highly off-putting, but maybe back in the day when the school was founded, everyone built dungeons to hide valuable artifacts? No, still sounded weird. "Your man Rage reports progress with an informant within the Headquarters of the heroes. I am sure he could give you the most recent and thorough update." At the rate they were going, they would have informants everywhere, so they would always know what was going on.

"In other news, gang activity has gone down, so that is fewer fronts for us, potentially. However, sources tell me they are backing off out of fear more than any other reason. Whether it is fear of us or some others moving in, I am not sure. There has been a recent rise in vigilantes with no known loyalty in the city. Mostly it seems they take out more common criminals, but it is hard to say what they might do with non-heroes with a noble cause." In truth, that was how he saw them at the moment: a group who for whatever reason had never allied with the heroes, but were still working for general betterment. Granted, that wasn't his normal modus operandi, but it would work for now. "Finances are holding steady, despite increased activity. I have needed to pull in a few new resources, but nothing which hurts our goal, I assure you." With that he passed over the last of the information, but still kept the folder and apparently a small packet within. That was not going to be passed over for it had more detailed information on the financial strata, information he was quite willing to keep to himself so she could maintain plausible deniability.

She listened to him in silence. Clearing the blame was not so much of a concern since she knew people stuck to their own bias thoughts and sources of information. Not everyone would look at what they were trying to do in a good light. Grabbing a hold on the majority was enough. Especially if they were of importance. It was good to be done with the Queen situation. Too bad she couldn't visit her old stomping ground anymore though. No matter. The progress is what was important. Progress which they will make sure isn't halted by the corrupt individuals within the system. As far as she could tell, the main people at the Ruins were not involved. It didn't excuse them, however. She'd be wary of anyone who has some kind of connection to the government.

Nasya took the packet to take a look at while he continued. Soon moving to the new files he slipped over to her. "Good. I want to learn everything there is to know about the woman and her daughter. Get Mitch involved. We'll start focusing a bit more attention on the hospital." The next true infiltration would probably be the school if there is something hidden beneath, but she didn't think they'd have to take on the hero headquarters anytime soon. The only reason they already started working it was by chance. She nodded when he finished the bit related to Kaden.

Something else moving in? That could be a problem. "Get more information on the real reason activity has gone down. We need to know all the potential threats to the cause." As for the financial bit, she only uttered a simple good. They wouldn't be doing anything extra which would need financing after this meeting. Mainly because focuses were mostly being shifted from one thing to another. Nasya leaned back in her chair before addressing him again. "Do you have anything else?" It was an open question and he knew it. She was asking if there was anything more to report which might not have been addressed yet. Related to the groups tasks or members. Jasper could even bring up his own concerns and suggestions. Preferably related to what the meeting was about, but she wouldn't dismiss more personal ones if they were done with the important stuff.

"Do you have a second to spare?"

As she made her suggestions, he took notes, or rather, about a second before she made her suggestions he started taking notes. Around most people he tried to hide some of the more awkward side effects of his perc, but with Charon he saw little need: the woman was more concerned with results and acceptable methods. It was more important to show that he was listening and taking account of her words than it was to follow a particular pattern of speech and reaction. In an odd sense, it made him more comfortable associating with her. As soon as this meeting was over, he would get Miss Love to get in contact with Mitch, though of course he would convey the information personally, no need in getting a secretary involved with such delicate matters. Crusher and Mr. Hälle would be in charge of monitoring the situation in the slums: one would work surveillance while the other worked the streets. It sometimes seemed like his team was so efficient that they did not really need him; however, his perc gave them a decided edge in surveillance as well as split-second decisions, plus he was the only one who could legally amass fortunes. He had his own niche of usefulness.

"The more corruption we uncover, the more the heroes will be pressured into action. Is this permissible?" While having the heroes involved would make things go more quickly and force legislation, the heroes could not be controlled as easily, so there were fewer guards in place to ensure they enacted all of the change that was needed. Further, some members of the Exiles were decidedly not on friendly terms with the professionals, and it would be suicidal to drive their own members away. "This may be too far in the future; however, what are your plans for once this corrupt system is brought down? Putting some of our own people into power would aid us in further change, of course, but I do not believe we are an organization known for operating well within the realm of the law. Forgive my impudence if this is something we need not think upon yet. I prefer to see into the long-term future of all efforts, is the only reason I ask." Which was probably why he was still alive despite his limited combat abilities.

"Come, I show you the end
You're damned
Cause no one can defy me
Just watch these maddened creatures
Like you they all once reached out
A war to win
But I'm gonna burn this vision down"

"Yes," she said in response to if the heroes are allowed to act, "we want them to aid us. If they become a problem we will deal with it." They have been giving certain players on the hero side hints so they'd discover some things which would make them suspicious. There were certain people who were less likely to be in league with the shady government after all. The more people they got to come to their side the better. It was a risky endeavor, however. Some heroes were too righteous or blind to the truth. It was the main reason they had to be sneaky about revealing everything to the public. Empty words mean nothing. The truth needs to be shoved into their face. People needed obvious proof. Nasya wasn't actually trying to get heroes to officially join the cause, however. It would be enough if some just ended up helping--even if they didn't realize they were. That's what she meant by aid. She would only explain if he looked uncertain or didn't appear to understand.

Nasya leaned forward to place her elbows on the desk. Fingers soon pressed together while being spread out--slightly hiding her mouth. It was true their organization was not ideal. Even if they came out in the best way possible, to the masses, there were certain members who have and will be a thorn in their sides. If those weak spots aren't already known they will be at some point. That's the problem with taking over a large group when needing all the help you could get. At least they had no connection to Queen anymore. "We won't have a need for the members who don't fulfill a purpose. They'd be taken care of, but if we have to create a new organization better suited for the change we will. There is no need to stick to a big group if we have the majority of the population with us. The undedicated dead weight will be dropped." She didn't elaborate on what she meant by 'taken care of' or 'dropped'. It would be dependent on the person and situation. There were too many variables. Some were more likely to be kept around, however. Nasya let her arms fall gracefully onto the desk--lightly crossed. "It is good to address what might happen after--even if there is still much to be done." This time she didn't ask a question and merely waited to see if the man had more to say. Jasper knew he was allowed to question, but she would not give answers if she didn't have anything concrete.
