If Abel was such a dangerous man, he didn't understand how he was still out on public streets. Shouldn't someone have called someone else by now? Maybe lock his violent a** up in some mental institute that wasn't exactly up to speed on how things were done. Personally speaking, he would pay good money to watch Abel receive a lobotomy. Though that might still be his anger speaking. What Abel did to him was a crime. But it wasn't as though he could go to the police because technically what he in turn was trying to do to Abel, was also a crime.
Jakob couldn't help his temper. He was uncomfortable, cold, and being treated like a toy. He lashed out at the man, not that it did much good. Without anyone's help he was stuck here. The most he could do was swing back and forth, and then what? Hope he sell? Yeah, right. All that would do was likely send him to the hospital. His anger only grew as Kieran went on to grope him. He knew that the male wasn't being rough, but still, it hurt. It hadn't even been that long since Abel hit him. Maybe half an hour at least. He was tender.
He glared down at the male as he came back around him. He opened his mouth to yell some more. Instead, a hand was shoved against his throat. Jakob squirmed and tried to get out of the males grasp. With nowhere to go, it was entirely impossible. He whimpered as the male growled at him. Feeling emotional again, his body went limp as he was threatened. Of course he didn't want Abel coming back down here. He bit his bottom lip while he looked anywhere but Kieran. He just wanted down. Why was that so hard to do? Jakob sniffled a few times but did not cry. He wouldn't give Kieran that satisfaction.

Kieran could understand Miguel being angry, but he hadn’t done anything to hurt him. If anything he was being gentle. He knew that treating Miguel like a pet wasn’t in his best interest either. Kieran knew Miguel could’t hang much more longer or his arms would start to hurt if they weren’t already. He held onto Miguel’s throat, watching as he finally settled down. Kieran took the note of simple defeat as well as he stood there. ”Good, now that’s better.” He spoke releasing Miguel’s throat.
Standing there, he took note as Miguel sniffled trying hard to hold it all together. Kieran moved as he grabbed Miguel’s pants pulling them back around his waist carefully. He could only imagine how sensitive his a** was at the moment. Kieran rebuttoned his pants and zipped them up as well. He stepped away from Miguel over toward the wall, where a rope was wrapped around a hook.
Kieran unlatched the room, as he lowered Miguel back down to the floor. He did so carefully, not wanting to drop him all at once just in case he lost his footing. Kieran grabbed the keys by the hook as well. He walked over toward Miguel, as he grabbed his wrists. Kieran unlocked the handcuffs, setting them aside. He rubbed his wrists, a little to get the feeling back in them as he stood there.

He stood there feeling even more awkward as his hands were released. He kept his eyes downcast as Kieran stepped away from him. He appreciated him giving him his space. When he asked to borrow a shirt, he would have understood if he just flat out refused. After all, he didn't plan on coming back anytime soon. It wasn't as though he could just wash it and give it back to him. Still, he couldn't go home like this. One of the guys were bound to still be awake and they would notice. It would be one thing if he just came in limping or had some minor scratch. But it was obvious his injuries were more than that. He needed to hide them as best he could. At least until he could address them in his own time. Jakob heard the male speak and listened to his retreating footsteps.
He tried not to glance around the room while he stood there. He didn't want to remember this place. To the average person, this room might just seem like a work space as well as a home gym. Jakob had been given a taste of the truth. He didn't want to know what other horrors Abel might perform in this very room. Hell, he didn't even want to know if Kieran ever joined in on them. As the male returned, he was handed a plain t-shirt. "Thank you." he said quietly as he took it from his hands. Jakob turned the shirt over in his hands and slipped it over head. Unsurprisingly, the shirt was too big for him and hung a little past his hips. He didn't care. It was clean and warmer than his own skin. Hearing the male speak again, Jakob nodded.
He followed Kieran up the stairs and out of the basement. Once they were upstairs, he kept close to the man. He didn't know where Abel might be off to. He preferred not running into him once more before leaving. He then followed him through the house and towards the garage. "Wait!" he said, looking up at the man. "Before we go, I need to get something. A backpack. It's behind the building across the street." He gazed up at Kieran with a pleading look. He needed that backpack. There were valuable things inside that bag. He couldn't just leave it behind like yesterday's trash.

If Kieran had a room upstairs, it seemed odd to him that he would keep his clothes down here. But, that was none of his business. The less he knew about this house, the better. He was just grateful to have something to wear. As they made their way upstairs, Jakob remained close to the male. If he were a bit braver, or rather foolish, he might dare to cling to him for comfort. Though he doubted Kieran would appreciate that. He got the feeling the male preferred contact on his own terms, not the other way around.
He kept his eyes pealed for Abel, though he was nowhere to be seen. He had to wonder if he might have gone back upstairs to his office. After all, wasn't that like the big "no-no" area of the house? As they were headed towards the garage, it dawned on him that he was missing a very important items. He looked up at the male with a pleading gaze. He wasn't trying to run away. He just needed that backpack before he could go home. Jakob nodded and did as he was told. He followed Kieran into the garage and went around to the passenger side. Shutting the door behind him, he didn't bother with his seat belt just yet. After all, he was going to be jumping right back out.
He sat back as the male opened the garage door and backed out of the driveway. Just as promised, Kieran parked in front of the building. Jakob opened his door and went back around where he had stashed the black bag. He felt around in the darkness, for a moment frightened that it had been stolen. Feeling the strap, he smiled and snatched the bag up. He ran back to Kieran's car, slipping back into his seat, and shutting the door behind him. "Thank you." He quickly went about buckling himself up and pulled the bag into his lap. Unzipping it, he took stock of everything in it. His keys, wallet, phone, binoculars, three granola bars, two bottles of water, and his most prized possession, a Glock 19. "Ah thank god." he said, as he checked the gun to make sure it was just as he left it. Thankfully it seemed unharmed.

Kieran wasn’t mad at Miguel per say. He was more worried about him and mad at Abel. Kieran wasn’t trying to take his anger out on him, but what did he expect. He knew Miguel wasn’t going to wait around for him to be there. Kieran only had himself to blame for how things ended up. He hated to admit it, but he rather liked Miguel, even if he had been stupid. Kieran didn’t want to see him dead, especially not by Abel’s hands. He knew how cruel the man would be, if he choose to. Kieran hadn’t been gone long, but look what happened.
He could only imagine what Miguel must be thinking. After all he knew he had to be worrying about what his boss would think of him. Kieran glanced toward Miguel, as he seemed defeated by his words, but mostly what had happened. ”Are you okay?” He asked curiously, wanting to make sure Miguel was okay. Kieran didn’t know what Miguel was thinking without asking him. He knew that Miguel like to put on a brave front, but on the inside he was something more.

It wasn't just Kieran's mood that was weighing him down. Though at the moment, that was a contributing factor to his mood. He knew what he had done was stupid, but it was a job. Just like Kieran being a bodyguard, even if it was in name only, was his job. He didn't expect the man to take any blame for what happened tonight. After all, how could he? If anyone was to blame, it was that monster he lived with. Sure, Jakob broke in and entered a forbidden space. But that really justify everything that Abel had done to him, or was going to do for that matter.
With his back turned away from Kieran, he stared down at his lap. His body ached over all. His head was still pounding from where he had been knocked out. He couldn't wait to get home, crawl under the covers, and forget that tonight even happened. Hearing the male speak, he shook his head. "That rhetorical or you just making fun of me?" he replied. He peaked up to see where they were. Just a few more lights before he needed to give Kieran his next set of instructions. He sighed softly, knowing his answer would not do. "But no, I'm not." he said honestly.
