⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kirean could understand not wanting to gain weight. He had to work to maintain his weight as well as muscle mass. Kieran offered up some of his gelato to Miguel as well. He watched as Miguel went about scoping up some of the gelato before holding it out to him. Kirean found it amusing, the idea of being spoon fed. He opened his mouth as he leaned forward. Kirean slipped his mouth over the spoon as he took the gelato into his mouth. He tasted the strong taste of peanut butter and under tones of chocolate. Kirean wasn't particularly fond of peanut butter but it was tasty in it's own way. He scooped out some gelato of his own and offered it to Miguel carefully as to not let it drop.

He could only imagine what sort of daily training Kieran must put himself through to stay in shape. However he doubted as many people would notice if he gained a few pounds. But that was beside the point. As they continued to eat, Jakob held out a spoonful of his gelato in offering. He hadn't really given much thought to offering to feed him. However, Kieran seemed as though he had a few thoughts of his own. Jakob watched his lips wrap around the plastic spoon as he took what was offered. He felt his cheeks warm a little at the sight but said nothing about it. Instead, he simply took back his spoon and smiled as Kieran held out his own in offering. Leaning forward, Jakob took the offering before sitting back in his chair. He could taste the light, smooth vanilla ice cream mixed with the crunchy cookies. It was surprisingly good as some cookies and cream ice creams he had tried could sometimes be a little bland. "Mmm, that's pretty good." he said after swallowing.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • The idea of sharing food was a new experience for him. He had seen the blush slide over Miguel's face as he welcomed the tasting of his gelato. Kirean offered Miguel some of his only to be fair. He watched as Miguel leaned forward tasting some of his gelato. Kirean smiled as Miguel seemed to enjoy it. He nodded as Miguel spoke as he continued to eat his gelato slowly, not open to the idea of brain freeze.

Jakob had no qualms about sharing his food. Though he had to wonder if it was the same for Kieran. After all he knew he didn’t really date, but did that mean he never shared a meal with someone that wasn’t Abel? After taking his bite, Jakob sat back and commented on the gelato. He glanced over towards Kieran as he watched him smile. Tucking a bit of hair behind his ear, Jakob returned his attention to his own gelato. Like Kieran he was taking his time. Not just to avoid brain freeze, but to watch the passing crowd and look over the near by shops. ”So clothes and shoes aside, what else do you like to shop for when you come to the mall?” he asked a few minutes of people watching.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Dating was something out of his norm. He didn’t normally date after all if he wanted sex, it was simple to find. However finding someone he wanted to spend some time with was harder. Kieran although was working on it. He didn’t understand certain things. Kieran was always surprised MIguel stuck around. He was nothing special after all he’d never been. Although with MIguel, he made him feel wanted and needed, nothing compared to how Abel made him feel. It was more meaningful and exhilarating at times.

They sat there eating, as they enjoyed each other’s company. He watched a few people as they passed by. Kieran returned his attention toward MIguel as he questioned him. He shrugged slightly at his words. ”I don’t really do a lot of mall shopping, just every once in a while. Coming here isn’t exactly fun all on my own.” Kieran replied, thinking of the many reasons; screaming children and annoying teenagers.

Despite what the male may think about himself, Jakob didn't see him that way. He was smart, funny, sexy. Sure he was a tad moody, but so was he. Jakob had no problem holding his own against him whenever they fought. The fact that the male stood an entire foot above him didn't intimidate him one bit. Jakob couldn't really say why he kept coming back. He knew the man wasn't all bad, when they weren't fighting or getting off topic, he could be really sweet. Not only that, but he knew that he genuinely cared about his well being. So, for now Jakob could handle a few fights and mood swings.

Jakob continued to nibble on his gelato before turning his attention back to his boyfriend. He watched the male give him a small shrug as he answered his question. He nodded quietly. "I think I can understand....Like the appeal of having so many stores in one place is nice. But at the same time it attracts a lot of the types of people that can make shopping more exhausting than it ought to be." He said, taking note of the many strollers and teens passing them by. Jakob wouldn't out right say that he hated kids. But he definitely had no desire to deal with them either.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kieran knew Miguel saw him differently. He didn’t understand it, probably never would. Kieran barely understood himself at times. He responded to Miguel's question. Kieran nodded smiling lightly at his words. It could be exhausting in some ways. He found no appeal about children. Kieran didn’t hate them, but wasn’t fond of them. He never thought of having children. His life just didn’t allow it, nor would he want to raise someone. Kieran had plenty of practicing raising himself, which he still wasn’t completely into the idea of a family.

The way he saw it Kieran didn't need to completely understand why he stuck around. What mattered was that he was here, he loved him, and so long as he loved him back he had no plans of leaving him. As Jakob spoke, he expressed his own dislike for the large and noisy crowd. Beside him, Kieran nodded as he shared his opinion on the matter. Smiling, Jakob leaned across the table to give him a sweet kiss. Sitting back in his chair, he pulled his gelato close to him once more.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kieran knew there was no need to question it. Which is why he didn’t out loud. He had thought sure, but to full out question them would only lead to an argument. Kieran nodded agreeing with Miguel’s words. He watched as Miguel soon leaned over to kiss him. Kieran returned the kiss, soon watching as Miguel pulled away. He too returned to his gelato which was slowly melting.

Jakob didn't think he could handle another argument today. But if Kieran wanted to ask him anything he could. He didn't ever want him to feel as though he couldn't talk to him. Though that wasn't to say he was going to force it out of him. For now, he just wanted to have a nice day with him, spend some time together, and eat his snack. After giving the male a quick kiss, Jakob sat back in his chair once more and returned his attention to his remaining gelato. There wasn't much left in the small cup, but so he didn't bother with taking small bites or trying to savor the remainder. "Hey, do you want to get out of here when we're done? Or should we try to look around a bit more? Just to see if there's anything good around here." he asked curiously. Jakob was fine with either answer. But he didn't want the male to think that he was ready to just force him out of the mall right this instant.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kieran was no longer interested in shopping anymore. He had gotten a few things. However he didn’t want to go home yet. He was dreading going back to see if Abel was there. Kieran didn’t want to deal with his annoyance from last night. He shook his head as Miguel soon questioned him. ”Nah, I don’t think there’s anything else I want to look at.” Kieran replied as he continued to eat, as he soon finished his gelato. ”What would you like to do after this, hmm?..We could go to a museum or the park?” He asked curiously as to what Miguel would like to do. Chicago had a few interesting museums and parks among other things.

The idea of going back to Abel's house was a little unsettling for him too. He didn't know what sort of mood to expect from the male, especially after last nights little event. He knew that he had only done it to annoy Kieran, but a part of him still wondered if he had been genuinely interested in joining them. Perhaps they hurt his feelings by declining the invitation. At the same time though, he knew that he likely would have hurt Kieran if he had allowed him to join. Things were still shaky and he didn't want to upset either man. But still he managed to do so.

Jakob picked at the remainder of his gelato before questioning the male. It came as no shock to him that he would want to leave. It was fine. Jakob had had his fill of the mall as well. Perhaps if he was a woman or liked women's clothing and accessories he could spend hours in a place like this. But as it was, he found little interest in the small collection of men's stores. Jakob was happy with what he got and didn't really need anything else. Taking a few more bites of his gelato, Jakob finished his own while Kieran questioned him. He sat there a moment sucking on his spoon while he thought. "Hmm, I can't say I've really done any cultural exploring as of late. Maye a park, somewhere with loads of space and things to do. Like renting a boat or riding bikes." he soon replied. While a museum did sound nice, he worried that it might be too late in the day to really enjoy one. Besides, some fresh air and sunshine wouldn't kill him.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • There wasn't much anything else that interested Kieran. He hadn't bought much though he was content. Kirean however didn't want to go home. He still wanted to hang out with Miguel. Kieran couldn't help but offer a few things. He finished off his gelato as he set the empty container aside. Kieran listened as Miguel seemed interested in the idea. He nodded as Miguel commented. "Well, we can go to Millennium and see what they have to offer. I'm not sure if they have those exact things there, but we can see." Kirean responded smiling at Miguel.

Jakob was more than willing to spend more time with Kieran. He didn't care if it was here at the mall, a random park in town, or back in his room at home. It wasn't surprising though that the male did not want to go back home just yet. After the mood they left Abel in, there was no telling what was waiting for them both if they returned. Jakob soon finished off his own gelato while Kieran gave him a few options. The idea of going to a museum was nice. But he'd rather be outside and maybe do something. There was no guarantee of course, but even just a walk would be nice. "Alright, that sounds like fun. And even if they don't we could still just hang out." he replied, smiling back at the man.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kieran hadn't really been to the park lately. He didn't mind the idea of spending time with Miguel. Kieran knew eventually Miguel would have to get back to his boss. They hadn't really discussed much on what was to come next for them. He knew Miguel currently had no plans to kill Abel but that could always change.

Listening to Miguel talk, Kirean nodded. He didn't mind what they were doing. Kirean had no extreme plans. He moved to grab his trash, "Of course…. Finished?" Kieran asked as he stood. He grabbed his trash and stepped a few feet away to throw it away. Kieran walked back to the table. He wasn't in a rush as he stood waiting for an answer.
