Sitting alone at his table, he took out his phone for something to do. He heard the low voices of the emplyees talking to one another as well as the few patrons. When the door opened, he didn't think anything of it. He merely opened a few apps, scrolling through to pass the time. While his head was still lowered he saw two men being led to a nearby table by the hostess out of the corner of his eye. Jakob still did not pay them any mind. It wasn't until about a minute later did he raise his head as the waitress had returned with a glass of water. He smiled politely and thanked her. As she turned to leave him, Jakob caught sight of who was at the other table.

His entire body froze. What were the odds that the man he was tailing would sitting right across from him. He took in the man's appearance, he looked a bit rough. Like he hadn't slept and something was wrong with his hand. Was this guy really a mafia boss? From his current state the man across from him looked more like a leader. Speaking of which who was that man? From his readings Abel didn't care for body guards. Except for certain situations. He wondered if the information he was given was wrong.

Jakob realized he had been staring for far too long. He turned his eyes back to his phone. He hoped neither man had noticed him staring, but it would be hard for them not to. Jakob normally did not openly stare at people, but he also was not always prepared for his marks to be in such close proximity to him. Closing out the apps in his phone, he pulled up the memo pad and stared writing down everything he possibly could about both men's current descriptions. He was most curious about who his companion was. Was this a lunch client? A body guard? Boyfriend even? What was his connection to Abel. He wanted to find out.

Looking over his menu, Abel could feel eyes on him. That wasn’t a surprise to him. He was used to be stared at, after all what normal person didn’t stare at a man with tattoos. Abel didn’t look like the easiest man to approach. He was more along the lines of someone others stayed away from. Abel wasn’t bothered by such a thing, he much preferred it. There was only a few he let get to know him, one being Kieran.

On the outside, the man looked like his bodyguard and that’s the way he wanted it. Kieran however was his friend, they had grown up together. Abel however trusted him more than anyone, especially with his life. Which in his line of work, was important. There wasn’t many people in his life after all. He could only count them on one hand.

Sitting there, both Kieran and Abel looked over their menus. They barely noticed the young male a few seats down watching them. As the waitress came over to get their drink over, Abel ordered himself some cold sake, while Kieran ordered a coke. Kieran wasn’t a big drinker like Abel was at times. The waitress left to take care of their drinks. Abel closed his menu after deciding on what he wanted.

He took the chance to look around the restaurant. Abel’s eyes wandered around as he took note of a familiar face. He couldn’t be sure since the club had been a little dark, but he couldn’t help but look him over. The same, exotic look. Abel hoped it was merely a coincidence seeing him again. After all there were only so many places to eat with in the area.

Abel returned his attention toward Kieran who sat across from him. He didn’t want it to seem like he was staring either. Kieran had glanced to see who Abel had been watching. He took note of the male, as he seemed to be scrawling something in a notebook. Kieran dismissed it as nothing, as he returned his attention toward his menu, before deciding and closing it.

The waitress returned with their drinks, as Kieran thanked her for the both of them. Abel had a hint of bad manners when it came to talking to others. He ordered himself, some vegetable udon and a few dynamite rolls. While Kieran ordered himself some grilled chicken skewers and salmon rolls. Once the food was ordered, the waitress left to put in the order. Abel grabbed his sake, taking a few sips from it. The alcoholic beverage did nothing for him, beside provide flavor after all sake didn’t have a lot of alcohol in it to begin with.

He couldn't help cursing himself for staring for so long. It was sloppy of him. He knew better than to openly stare down his mark. But he always never allowed himself to be so close to his marks. At least at the club, while he had dared to get closer, there was an entire section separating them. Here, he wasn't sure how the man normally interacted with strangers. For all he knew the man could take mere offense by his staring. And if that were to happen, he'd be in real trouble.

With his head ducked once more, Jakob wrote down all that he could. For his own safety, none of it was written in English. But instead, in his native Portuguese. As he sat there he could feel two sets of eyes staring at him but dared not to look just yet. The strange man would probably think nothing of his presence. But Abel.....he didn't know how good of a look the man got of him back at the club. He remembered how close he had been to him. If he really wanted, the man would have the perfect opportunity last night to stab him in the back.

Jakob wrote down a few more details before he interrupted by his own waitress. She had returned with a small plate of gyoza and set it down before him as well as a pair of chopsticks and extra napkins. He smiled and thanked her once more. Picking up the chopsticks, he ripped open the package and broke apart the two. He then picked up one of the pieces of gyoza, enjoying the sweet and savory flavors. Picking up a napkin with his free hand, he chanced another glance towards Abel. It seemed a little early to be drinking. But he doubted the man would share the same sentiment.

Drinking in the early afternoon was nothing new to him. Abel was used to it, but he didn’t have any effects from a little sake. If anything, downing half a bottle of Jägermeister, was likely to get him drunk. It wasn’t something had normally did however. He wasn’t a day drinker, but it wasn’t even the midafternoon and he was already thinking of many other things on his mind.

Being stared at however interested him. He didn’t know why but he had never expected to see the male after last night. Openly watching him didn’’t bother him. He had nothing to worry about. Abel sipped on his sake, watching as the male continued to scribble something in a notebook. He shifted in his seat, as he sat there. Abel glanced toward Kieran who seemed lost in his own world, with his phone which he noticed he had taken out instead of opting to talk to him. He didn’t mind after all communication wasn’t too big between them, unless it was necessary.

Abel glanced to see the waitress returning with the male’s food. He couldn’t help but he felt like teasing him. Abel shifted in his seat as he made his way past the male’s table in search of the bathroom. He hadn’t gotten rid of the fingers from his victim from earlier. Abel had planned on returning them to the victim a couple weeks later when they were no longer useful, just to remind him for payment. He had other plans however. Passing the table, he dropped the fingers on the male’s table.

Continuing on, he made his way toward the bathroom. Abel entered it, as he made his way toward the urinal. He moved to stand in front of it, as he unzipped his pants and went about taking care of his business.

Jakob never understood people who did any day drinking. It seemed odd to pop open a bottle when the day had just barely begun. Since it wasn't of any real importance, he didn't bother writing it down in his notebook. Instead, he ate a few pieces of gyoza while chancing glances at the two men. From his point of view, something amused Abel. Though what exactly had no idea and it wasn't as though he could ask him either. The other man was busy on his phone, doing god knows what. Popping another gyoza into his mouth, Jakob looked away as Abel had shifted in his chair. He kept his head down as the man passed. What the man did next he did not expect.

His eyes widened as the fingers were placed at the edge of his table. It was not his first time seeing a severed body part. But he couldn't exactly say that he was expecting it at look. He took a quick glance to make sure none of the employees had seen. Thankfully, they were all behind the counter and busy going about their own tasks. He then glanced back in the direction Abel had been walking only to see that he had gone. Sighing, Jakob pocketed two of the fingers that had been given to him. Taking the third, he stood from his chair and walked over to where the strange man. "Excuse me," he said too sweetly. "I hate to be a bother, but it seems your friend dropped this on his way to the toilet. Could you be a dear and let him know I'm keeping the others?"

Jakob placed the single finger in front of the man and pushed away from the table. On his way back to his own table, he brushed his fingers over the man's shoulder. He went back to his table and used one of the spare napkins to wipe away any blood that may have dripped. He had no idea what the fingers meant. Was it a warning? A game? Both? He couldn't say. Not without speaking directly to him. Jakob crossed his legs and waited for the man to come back. Anything Abel had to say, he could say it to his face.

As Abel left the table, Kieran barely noticed. He was playing with a few apps on his phone. Kieran didn’t know anything was wrong until heard a voice beside him. He glanced up to see the boy from before that he had glanced to see Abel watching. Kieran knew about Abel’s preference, but knew his friend didn’t openly do anything. He had to wonder what this one wanted. Kieran set his phone down, as he listened to the male speak. He glanced down at the finger as it was set down on the table. Kieran didn’t have to guess where it had come from. He had to wonder what plans the male wanted with the rest of the fingers, but he didn’t ask. Kieran watched as the male left turning back toward his table, but not before he felt his hand against his shoulder.

Finishing in the bathroom, Abel washed his hands and headed back toward his table. He took note of the male as he seemed, irritated by him dropping the fingers on his table. Abel hadn’t meant to play games, but still he couldn’t help himself. He walked past the male to sit down at his own table across from Kieran. Abel glanced to see a finger on the table, he had to wonder what happened to the others.

Kieran left the finger where it was, as he saw no importance of it. He watched as Abel came back to sit down across from him. Kieran directed Abel toward the finger with his hand, ”Are we sharing now?” He asked teasing Abel, whom shrugged at his words. ”Not really, I saw him last night at the club, and now here.” Abel spoke, as he picked up his sake again to down it. He saw no reason to explain himself to Kieran. Abel hadn’t expected the male however to return some fingers to him, but it seemed that a few severed fingers didn’t bother him. He had to wonder, to most people it would.

Severed body parts would not scare him so easily. After all, if they did he wouldn't be very good at his job. It amused him though that Abel would think otherwise. He wondered if either of those two men knew who he was. From the way Abel teased him and the just stared blankly his guessing was no. He did find it curious though that the man didn't even flinch when he set down the finger. As for the other fingers, he hadn't yet decided what to do with them. He could toss them out later. Or perhaps he'd just hand them off to Cornelius, let him take a look at the prints and send them back to the owner.

Jakob quietly went back to his table and finished the rest of his gyoza. A few minutes passed and he caught sight of Abel coming back from the bathroom. He watched curiously as the man he just spoke with gestured towards the finger but he could not make out his words. He turned his gaze away as Abel seemed disgruntled by something. Whatever, it wasn't his concern.

Another ten minutes passed and his waitress was back for a third time. She set the plate of sushi down before him and he thanked her kindly. Jakob ate his food and paid the two men no attention for the remainder of his meal. He was going to need more careful in the future. Last night, he had wanted to get the males' attention on purpose. Today however was just a coincidence. He wasn't expecting to find anything on Abel and yet here he was literally five feet away from him. It was both exciting and a little unnerving. When he finished eating his meal, Jakob put away his notebook, and stood from his table. He spared Abel one last glance before making his way up to the counter.

The neighborhood was small, he found it amusing to see the male so soon. Abel had to wonder but he didn’t let it bother him. He took it upon himself however to toy with the male. A few severed fingers, were just small body parts. The male would have to worry when he started dropping bodies instead. Kieran was only worried however about Abel’s behavior. He knew the male could take care of himself, but he didn’t need him scaring some random stranger. Kieran didn’t ask though, as he pushed the finger toward Abel. ”Well a couple fingers aren’t going to scare the kid.” He spoke rolling his eyes at Abel’s actions.

Abel dismissed Kieran as he spoke toward him. He hardly care if he scared the male. Abel had merely wanted to see what he was doing, testing him. He didn’t expect him to return a finger, nor keep some. Abel had to wonder who this kid was. He didn’t ask, as the waitress soon arrived with their food. Abel had lost his appetite, but he wasn’t going to let a meal go to waste.

Picking up the chopsticks, he opened the small package. Abel cracked them apart, as he went about eating his udon while it was still hot. He ignored the male the rest of the time he ate. Abel saw no need to pay him close attention. If it was a coincidence, then he would not see him again.

As the male finished eating his meal, Abel saw movement but dismissed him. He continued eating, as he finished with his udon and moved onto his sushi as it was placed before him next. Abel had ordered himself more sake in opt of water as he should be drinking. He ate his sushi as he sat there, enjoying his meal. Abel wasn’t a fan of the food, after all it was Kieran who picked it out. He merely ate it without arguing.

Once they were finished eat, Abel stood to pay for the meal with Kieran in tow. While Abel paid the bill, Kieran went outside to get the car started. Abel pulled his wallet from his pocket, as he handed the hostess over the bill. He fished out the money, as he paid here. Abel finished as he stuffed his wallet back into his pocket and made his way outside to get into the car.

He had no idea what the point of giving him the fingers was. If it was scare him, then he was going to have to try a lot harder. If it was a warning then he didn't understand it. Or maybe Abel was just an a*****e in general. His friend hadn't even spoke to him and he seemed to have better manners.

As the minutes passed, Jakob paid neither man anymore attention. He went about eating his lunch in silence. And when he finished, he packed away his things and moved to go up to pay. He spared them both one last glance before handing over a few bills and taking his receipt. On his way out, he grabbed a fortune cookie and walked a little ways from the building. Now to put his stalking skills to the test. But first things first, Jakob walked around the side of the building to lean against the wall. He pulled out his cellphone looked up his boss's phone number. As the dial tone rang, he raised the phone to his ear.

"Did you find anything?" was the first thing Cornelius asked him when he picked up."Sort of. He gave me some fingers." replied Jakob. Cornelius was quiet for a moment. He wondered if he had said something wrong.
"I've heard he does that sometimes. Sends back the limbs as a warning. Do you still still have them?"
"Yes sir. They're in my bag.....Oh and sir, there was also a man with him."
"I see. We must have overlooked this man. Find out who he is and report back to me."

The line die when the man finished speaking. So now he had to track both Abel and this man. Great, simple enough. Right. Jakob locked his phone and stuffed it away in his back, careful not to put it in the same pocket as the fingers. He stayed out of sight and waited patiently for the two men to come out. Every few minutes he poked his head out to see if they were done. He didn't know their eating habits but the two of them seemed to be taking their time.

When they did finish eating, He stood from the spot he had been kneeling in and waited patiently. He could just barely see the men paying for their meal. Cash. Smart, no paper trail. About a minute later they both walked out of the shop and towards the nearby parking lot. He didn't want to risk being seen so he pulled out his phone instead to zoom in on them. The car was plain in color with no added accessories. At least from his view. The strange man rounded towards the driver side, while Abel took the passenger. Could he be a servant? If not for the information given to him, he would have thought them to be the opposite.

Jakob snapped as many photos as he possibly could, including ones of their license plate number and both men before they got in the vehicle. He had a friend who could help him to find out more about the car later. What he was really interested in though was finished out where they were going. There were no cabs around and he doubted on foot he'd be able to keep up. It would also be a shame if he were to be caught. He'd seen how Abel liked to play in a normal setting. He hated to think how he played in a private setting.

Indeed Abel was different when it came to being in private. He couldn’t be violent in public, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t tease the male. Abel found him curious, but he knew he wasn’t likely to see him again. If he did, he had to wonder then if it was all a coincidence. Abel wouldn’t let it bother him however, he choose to ignore it for now. He didn’t see the male worth worrying about. Abel would however check into him again, if he saw him.

Leaving the sushi restaurant, Kieran started out of the parking lot. He glanced out the rearview mirror, spotting the boy from earlier with his phone out and taking pictures. Kieran only had one guess that he was photographing them. He didn’t tell Abel as he didn’t want to worry him. Kieran continued out of the parking lot, and down the street. He started heading back toward Abel’s house. Kieran could see that he had a lot on his mind at the moment.

Once back at Abel’s house, he clicked a button on the visor, opening up the garage door. He didn’t know if the male had any intent in following him, but he still didn’t need to chance of Abel being attacked outside his home. Kieran pulled into the driveway, as he parked the car in the garage. He hit the button on the visor again, lowering the garage door.

As the car was turned off, Abel unbuckled himself and got out. He didn’t question Kieran for parking in the garage, but he had to wonder. Abel slipped out, shutting the door behind him. He walked toward the door, unlocking it, as he made his way inside. Abel continued inside, heading toward his office upstairs. He turned on the light as he made his way toward his desk. Abel took a seat opening the top drawer to pull out some medical tape. He knew at least two of his fingers were broken but he didn’t let it bother him. Abel slipped his other hand out, as he straightened his fingers then taped them together. Once he was done, he threw the tape back in the drawer.

If he wanted to continue to follow them, he was going to need to be careful. He worried if he were to cross Abel a third time, the man would give him more than a couple of fingers. He would likely want to know everything there was to know about Jakob and whom he worked for. Staying hidden really was for the best.

Poking out from around the corner, Jakob snapped multiple pictures of the two men. They had both entered the car by now so he didn't even realize he had been seen. As the car pulled away, he stopped taking pictures and watched as the car soon left the lot. There was no way he would be able to keep up on foot so he didn't even bother to try. Instead, he turned on his heel and headed for his friends house. He didn't look back as he did not want to draw further attention to himself.

He used the alleyways and took the less popular streets. About fifteen minutes passed and he was soon in front of his friends house. It was an older house that did not stand out too much. The bricks were old and worn, the shutters could use a paint job, and the mail box was begging to be replaced. Ayden did not have time to appease his neighbors. Though they often complained about the state of his house. But so long as the roof did not come down on him, nor any creatures got in, he didn't care. He kept it up to date to an extent and that was it. Jakob walked up the short driveway and knocked on the door before pulling out a key. Ayden was used to him inviting himself in, so it wasn't too much of a problem. Just so long as he didn't disturb him when he was in the middle of something.

Inside it was nicely decorated with modern furniture. He passed through the living room and headed down the hall to the office. Ayden sat at the computer typing aware. His office was more like a mad scientist lab. There were microscopes, computers, test tubes, and all sorts of machines that he had never seen nor used before. He greeted the man kindly and they talked a bit about their latest assignments. Ayden wasn't exactly a member of the same gang as Jakob, but they did run in the same circles. Jakob also explained how the man he had been following gave him a "gift". He pulled the fingers from his bag and set them in a petri dish. Ayden pulled on a pair of gloves and turned the fingers over as he examined them. He told Jakob to make himself comfortable as it would be awhile before he could tell him who they belonged to.

Taking the man's advice, he moved to go into Ayden's bedroom and picked up the male's laptop. He took the device to the bed where he sat down cross legged and pulled up a new internet tab. He then pulled out his phone and looked through the pictures he had taken. None of them were anything to write home about, but at least it was obvious who he was spying on. He scrolled through the pictures before coming across the one showing their plate number. Jakob typed out the number and hit the enter. Various results came up, though many of them were related to the county and state. He clicked on the first three results, reading each of them carefully.

It didn't surprise him at all that Abel did not appear on the register for the car. He doubted the man ever drove himself these days. But there was another name that kept showing up. Going back to his search, he typed in the name Kieran. There was not much of anything about this man. However, there were a couple of pictures that showed up. Comparing them to his own, Jakob smiled. "So that's who you are." he said to himself.

If anything, Kieran had not been surprised by Abel’s behavior. He had seen him do worse. Kieran didn’t know what Abel was thinking but he never did. He knew not to question him however. Even being Abel’s friend did not give him leway into his mind. Kieran had to wonder though, if Abel saw the boy before would he see him again. He also was curious to why he had been taking pictures of them and the car. Kieran knew he would have to look into it. He did not need some child, as it were doing something untoward Abel.

Arriving back home, Kieran had pulled into the garage for safety reason. He hadn’t even got out of the car before Abel was inside. Kieran didn’t let it bother him, he knew Abel must be in pain, though hid it well. He turned off the car and slipped out. Kieran followed him inside, shutting the door behind them. He watched as Abel walked up the stairs, knowing he was going to his office. Kieran didn’t even have to guess what he had gone to do, after all he would do it himself.

He didn’t bother searching for Abel, as he went into the kitchen to get something to drink. Unlike Abel, he didn’t have too much of a taste for alcohol. Kieran preferred to keep a clear head. He grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge taking a few sips. Kieran stood against the counter, hearing movement upstairs. He remained where he was however.

Moving through the house, Kieran went upstairs to change his clothes. He didn’t think they were going to go anywhere for a few hours. Kieran walked into his room and opened his closet. He was sleeping in a guest room, so he did not have a walk in closet like Abel, not that he needed one.

After he was changed into a pair of lightweight pants. Kieran made his way downstairs again to the basement. He hadn’t bothered with a shirt, since he knew he was likely to be sweating. In the basement it held a work out area, some barbells, punching bags, and a few other things. Kieran pulled the cord as he entered, illuminating the area downstairs. He continued down, as he moved toward the punching bag. Kieran hadn’t worked out in a while, but it wasn’t as if would be getting rusty either.

An hour went by before he heard movement on the stairs, Kieran didn’t bother glancing toward them since he could hear Abel’s heavy footsteps. He continued pushing the bag, as he was covered in sweat. His arms ached a little, as well as his legs. Kieran glanced however to see Abel heading toward the sparring mat. He found he rather enjoyed sparring, after all it gave him a chance to work out his stress. Kieran quit punching the bag, as he walked toward Abel who too was wearing some lightweight pants to work out in. He took note of the medical tape against his fingers, but didn’t ask. Kieran took a stance before Abel, who nodded toward him. They moved toward each other, grapleing as strikes and kicks were made.

Both were tired, after fighting for what seemed like hours but it was only forty-five minutes. Kieran lay beside Abel on the mat working on catching his breath, however he felt better. He needed to work some kinks out in his body, as he moved to stretch it out a little. Kieran glanced to see Abel moving to head upstairs. They didn’t always talk a lot, after all what was there to talk about. He remained where he was as he eventually heard the water running, knowing Abel was taking a shower.

With a name to go with the man's face, Jakob took it upon himself to do a bit more digging. There was no way of knowing if this was the man's legal name. But at least it was a start. He hadn't expected to find something so fast on the man. There had to be more. Taking his name, he went back to the search engine to see what the clear web could tell him. There were a handful of sites asking him to pay money to find out about him. While a few other results came up with links to Facebook, LinkedIn, and the like for people with similar names. It was a bit disappointing to be honest, but not unexpected.

Switching over to the dark web, he followed looked up his name in the same way that he looked for Abel. If it was possible, there were even fewer results for him there. Mostly information did meant nothing to him such as past school records, credit information, and other snippets of the man that did not interest him. Still, as useless as it was to him, he knew it would be oh use to Cornelius. Taking out his notebook, he began to jot down several notes that seemed of importance. It wasn't a complete profile, but he would try to fill in more later. Setting the notebook aside, he did wonder. What connection did those two have? They didn't seem like the usual body guard and boss scenario he was used to seeing. He didn't think them to be partners either. So what was it?

Jakob spent the next two hours trying to find as much information as he humanly could. He spoke with a few people he found in forums, adding in whatever seemed worth remembering. By the time he had finished he learned that Keiran was no mere body guard. From the information provided, it almost sounded like he was some kind of twisted life coach. Only instead of spreading positivity and making green juice, the man was acting more like Abel's stay out of jail card. Almost anywhere Abel went, Kieran was sure to follow.

A knock at the door drew his attention away from the computer. He looked up to see Ayden lingering in the doorway.

"I managed to get the prints off your fingers."Setting the laptop aside, Jakob followed Ayden back to the office. The man then began to tell him all he had found out. The good news was they had a name and face for whom the digits belonged to. The bad news was the guy more or less ditched his legal name years ago to try and avoid his debts. Given what he had learned about Abel, it seemed that didn't work out so well for him. Jakob thanked the male for his hard work and took back the fingers. He then went into the bedroom to gather the rest of his things as well as close out everything he had been working on. He had learned a lot today. Abel was creepy, Kieran was not to be trusted, and he was going to need a disguise the next time he went looking for them both.

After thanking Ayden again, he showed himself out and headed for home. He took his time walking the neighborhood and didn't bother sticking to the alleys. He doubted anyone was looking him so he was feeling a little reckless. He followed his usual path home, stopping at a convenience store on the way to purchase a bottle of water. Coming back out, he continued on thinking about everything that had happened today and what he had learned.

After a quick sparring session with Kieran, Abel went upstairs to take a shower. He could feel the muscle in his body screaming but in a good way. Abel enjoyed the sensation after a good work out. He turned the water on cold, instead of opting for a warm shower. Abel stripped off his clothes, as he climbed into the water. He shut the shower door. Abel moved to step beneath the water, as he closed his eyes. He ran a hand up into his hair, as he enjoyed the feel of the cold water running over his body.

Once he was finished in the shower, Abel stepped out. He grabbed a towel, as he made his way toward his bedroom. Abel walked toward his closet, as he dried himself off. He looked through his closet, as he settled on a black long sleeve shirt, black pants, along with his doc martens. Abel returned to his bed as he set his things down. He worked on getting dressed after he threw the towel in the hamper.

The day went on pretty fast, Abel was growing bored. He went to check on Kieran to see if he would drive him to the club again. Abel walked down the hallway to see Kieran in his bed reading. He was never much of a reader, like Kieran was. Abel would eventually grow bored with reading after a few chapters. He preferred real to fantasy.

Driving to the club, Kieran pulled into the parking lot. He didn’t bother with pulling up at the door as he normally would. Kieran was a little worried after all seeing the boy from earlier taking their pictures, he had to wonder what was his intention. He parked the car as close as possible to the door. ”Why are you parking over here?” Abel asked curiously, he wasn’t used to Kieran parking the car unless he was coming in. Kieran turned the car off as Abel questioned him. ”I could use a drink too.” He spoke replying to Abel’s question.

Once inside, Abel made his way toward the VIP area. Kieran didn’t join him, as he went to get his own drink. He would let Abel do his own thing while he did his. Kieran had to wonder if Abel had seen the boy the night before would he show up again. Standing at the bar, he flagged down the bartender and ordered himself a tequila. He wasn’t much of a drinker, but he needed something to drink besides water or coke. After all the prices of drinks were never cheap, even if it was water there was still a charge.

The sun was just starting to set as he made his way home. He had learned quite a bit today and was eager find out even more. It had been awhile since he had this much fun with a mark. He was going to have to think of how he will get around Kieran if he wanted to meet with Abel again. Perhaps if they met again he should just lie. Tell him he thought he was attractive and wanted to date. Or something of the sort. He could just imagine how that would go over. Kieran would be probably be rolling in his grave before Jakob was ever given a chance to get as close to him again as he was today. He downed the rest of his bottled water and was soon walking into the house.

A few men sat around talking amongst themselves but otherwise paid him no mind. Dragging himself up stairs, he went straight into his bedroom walked to his desk. He would mess with his cork board later. Right now, he felt like he needed another bath. Dumping the contents of his bag out on to his desk, Jakob went about gathering his things, and went across the hall to use the shower. He locked the door behind him and turned the knobs to allow the water to heat up. Stripping, he tossed his clothes aside and slipped beneath the warm spray. He took his sweet time washing his hair and body. He emerged from the shower some twenty-five minutes later. Wrapping a towel around his waist, he took his items and went back to his room. He dried off his body, shaking out the droplets of water from his hair as he padded towards the dresser. He tossed the towel aside as he pulled out clean boxers as well as a pair of dark blue skinny jeans and a plain black t-shirt.

He knew he shouldn't be going back there. It was suicide to go back there. Jakob ignored all the warning bells in his head and quickly dressed. Along with his clothes, he also pulled his black boots and a pair of black socks. Once he was dressed, he gathered his phone, keys and wallet, heading out of his room again and going out the door. He followed the roads until he was able to hail a cab from the main streets.

Thirty minutes later Jakob was pulling up in front of the club. He paid the driver and stepped out of the cab. Just like the night before he went straight to the bouncer and gave him Cornelius's name. If it was possible the club was even more crowded than last night. He scanned the area, not seeing anyone familiar. He squeezed through the car and made his way towards the end of the bar. Jakob stood behind the small crowd that was also waiting to make an order. While he stood there he looked around some more. From his viewpoint he could see the V.I.P. section but not who was in it. He didn't doubt though that if Abel was here, that would be exactly where he was.
