Taunting the man, he heard him laugh softly behind him as he teased him back. Jakob saw him step out of his line of sight. Again, he braced himself for what was to come next. Jakob couldn't help wanting to egg Kieran on even more. He knew it would end badly for him if he did, but he was curious to find out what he might do. Jakob smirked back at him as he followed up with a rhetoric. He thought about answering with a smartass reply, but wasn't given enough time.
