Tracking was one he expected. That wasn't to say he enjoyed it, but he knew it would have to be done. After several trips through the neighborhood it was obvious that Kieran was out of the area. Where and how long he would be gone, he couldn't say. Just as he had done a month prior, Kieran had all but fell off the face of the earth. He was sure the man he was stalking would have answers. Though he was doubtful that he would give them to him so easily. He did not know much of Abel, but enough that he would not just hand over the information.
Just as he was instructed, he watched Abel like a hawk. He wouldn't dare go in to his house. Instead he lingered outside it. Day and night he would stroll through the neighborhood, walk past his house, and look through the open windows. He wasn't even trying to be discreet anymore. After all, they both knew he was there. Just as they always knew his purpose for stalking him.
Jakob hated to know what sort of thoughts ran through the man's head each time he caught him staring at his house, or when he not so casually passed him in the grocery store. If Kieran were still in town he would likely be pissed for playing with Abel like this. In the long run he was sure it would not be doing him any favors. Still, he took the risks.
Knowing what they were is exactly why he was here tonight. Here in this loud, crowded space with thrashing bodies everywhere and not a soul to witness what was happening. Walking up to the counter he ordered himself a vodka neat. The bartender busied herself fixing his drink while others crowded around him. In his ear voices overlapped one another as they all tried to order at once. He edged away from those yelling voices to scan the area. Up in the VIP section, he could just barely see who was occupying the space. By now he knew Abel's features well enough though to know that he was not there.
After a minutes of waiting his drink was placed down in front of him. Jakob thanked the bartender and picked it up to take a sip. Holding his drink close to him, he dared to move away from his spot at the counter to find a place where he could observe his surroundings better. Moving through the crowd, he took note of a few faces here and there. None of them were the person he was looking for.
Jakob soon found a small space on the other side of the room. He stood with his back to a pillar as he watched the people dance and walk around the club. Twenty minutes past as he sipped his vodka. His head swiveled back and forth a few times before he caught sight of the very person he was looking for. There. Walking into the club as though he owned it and making straight of the VIP section. His eyes glued to the man's back, but he did not move from his spot. Odd as it was, he wanted to be seen. To have Abel know that he was here, watching him. Sure he could not follow up there on his own. But he would have to come down eventually. Finishing off what was left of his drink, he placed the glass on the tray of a passing waitress.

Watching Miguel, Abel was curious as to how long he would continue this. He knew that MIguel was afraid of him, which is what he preferred. After all it would keep him alive longer. Abel didn’t know when Kieran would return, but if Miguel didn’t make a move then he would. He beckoned Miguel forward to join him in the VIP rom. Abel didn’t know if he would follow his request but it was worth a try.
He sipped on his drink, while Miguel made his way through the crowd. Abel watched as Miguel finally reached the VIP area and was blocked by the bouncers. It was to be expected. He found it amusing that Miguel could only go so far. Abel stood walking toward the entrance, standing beside the bouncer. ”Let him in.” He spoke directing the bouncer to let Miguel in. After giving him permission, the bouncer opened the corded rope to allow Miguel to enter. Abel turned away, motioning Miguel to follow him back toward his seat, which was next to another chair and a table which sat between them, where he left his drink. He picked it up again, waiting for Miguel to join him. ”Can I get you something to drink?” Abel asked pretending to be nice and care if Miguel was thirsty.

At the moment he didn't really care if he was easy to read. He wasn't interested in playing nice. Hell, he wasn't interested in playing at all. A guy like Abel was no fun to kill. He was too smart for his own good and didn't know when to shut up. If there weren't so many god damn witnesses he would slit his throat here and now. Instead he kept his eyes on the man while he seemed amused by their conversation. Jakob on the other hand saw nothing funny about this whole thing. He knew he should have stayed with the crowd. Though he doubted Abel would hide up here forever. He had the arrogance of child who had never been told no.
After speaking, Jakob picked up his glass and took a sip of the vodka. It was good. Better than the stuff they served the main crowd. Not that he would admit to that. Setting the glass back down Abel spoke again. He took note of the harshness of his tone. Still he was not bothered. Somehow he knew. He couldn't prove how or why, call it a gut feeling. "No, you're not forcing me. But the one who signs my checks is. So until he's satisfied, you're stuck with me." Picking up the glass again, he drained what was left of the vodka, and licked his lips. "Or maybe I'm letting you live because of Kieran. Ever think of that? If Kieran wants to invite me in again I won't stop him. Hell, you would have loved how he pulled me into your house the last time I was over. He was so ravenous I thought he was going to ******** me right at the front door. And besides, it's not like Kieran is the only one keeping dirty little secrets. Bet that sister of yours never clued you in. She actually caught us making out around the side of the house about two months ago. Then just like that she gave Kieran her keys and we disappeared into the night." Jakob wasn't too stupid either. He knew sleeping with Kieran wasn't in his best interest. But he also wasn't going to deny that he wasn't enjoying. He didn't care if Abel disliked it. He was dating Kieran, not Abel.

The way he saw things there wasn't too much difference when a person jealous and when they were also protective. He didn't know which Abel was or why he even cared so much. He'd seen the way he and Kieran interacted with one another. They seemed like complete strangers and yet Kieran claimed they had known one another for years. He found their relationship to be very odd, even more as he was distrustful of Abel.
Jakob wasn't afraid or offended as Abel continued to interrogate him. His own arrogance began to show as he openly spoke of their relationship. He watched as the man rolled his eyes and seemed unmoved at the mention of his sister. A bit surprising. Especially since Kieran was very fearful of her knowing. He sat back in his chair as the waitress was beckoned. She tapped forward, taking away his empty glass before moving away once more.
When Abel spoke again, Jakob smirked. "Well first off, he would want to know why the hell you're still breathing. And second, Kieran's nowhere on his radar, so he probably wouldn't care about that. Third, the only person's sex life he does care about is his wife." he replied. When he finished speaking the waitress returned, setting their drinks down in front of them. Jakob nodded his thanks before taking a sip. "Why are you so concerned about Kieran's sex life anyway?" he asked, wanting a few answers for himself. He knew of course he could ask Kieran these same questions, but he preferred hearing the answers from a different source.

The need to interrogate Miguel was not necessary. He just couldn’t help himself. Abel found it curious to know how well Miguel knew Kieran. He could protect himself easily, after all he had been doing it all his life. Abel wasn’t surprised to know that Addy knew more about Miguel and Kieran than he did. It wasn’t important to know about Kieran’s relationship, but when the relationship could eventually mean his death, then he couldn’t help but be nosey.
As he ordered more drinks for the both of them, Abel returned his attention toward Miguel. He knew that Cornelius would want to know why he was still alive. Abel didn’t think he would care to know he was going out with Kieran, if it could be called that. He rolled his eyes slightly, ”Yes, and for obvious reasons, Cornelius is wrong. After all if I truly had an sexual contact with his wife, she would probably be dead.” Abel spoke as he took his drink from the waitress who handed it off to him.
He took a sip from it as he watched Miguel. Abel wasn’t surprised that Miguel wanted to know why he was so interested in Kieran’s sex life. He knew that talking to Miguel about Kieran was probably not the smartest thing but he didn’t want to see Kieran get hurt. ”Why, because Kieran doesn’t need someone who will hurt him. He needs someone who will accept him and understand him.” Abel spoke watching Miguel as he sat there.
Talking about Kieran he worried. Abel didn’t want to tell Miguel things he needed to know. He sighed softly as he sat there. ”Let me ask you this, do you even know where Kieran is right now?” Abel asked curiously, he knew but wasn’t sure if Miguel knew.

Of course Cornelius didn’t care if he liked c**k. All he knew was his wife had gone to him and complained about Abel touching her. He had to wonder if she was only hoping to help her husband move in on his territory. It would make sense to him, after all with him gone, Cornelius could move in on him. Abel though wasn’t about to let it happen. He was not going to die by the hands of Miguel. Abel already knew in a hand to hand combat, he would win. However there were always many weapons to choose from.
He found it amusing to listen to Miguel talk about Cornelius. Abel shrugged lightly, ”True, I wonder though what he would do if she was killed instead.” He spoke curiously, though more rhetorical. Abel sipped his drink as he sat there watching Miguel.
As he questioned Miguel, he could see that he was getting annoyed with him. Abel didn’t mind, it would at least give him a chance to see his true side. He preferred an honest and open answer instead of walking around the truth. Abel found Miguel amusing as he sat there. ”No, it’s not because of your job or who you associate with. As for getting hurt, he’s already been hurt.” He spoke as he shifted slightly in his chair.
Questioning Miguel about where Kieran was, it seemed that Kieran had not spoken to him too much, or at all. Abel wasn’t surprised, after all he had barely spoken to him in the last month, but he at least knew where he was. He didn’t know about any payback. After all it wasn’t like Kieran told him about any of his relationships, he usually kept them to himself.
Abel was trying to avoid Miguel knowing too much, but he found it necessary. He didn’t want Miguel to judge Kieran but perhaps understand him a little. ”Kieran’s in St. Louis taking care of his mother’s affairs...Why I don’t know, I wished he would have just let her rot in a pauper’s grave. She deserves nothing better, especially for the way she treated Kieran.” Abel spoke annoying, slightly but with the dead woman not Miguel. He hadn’t seen or heard from her either in the last few years. Abel was glad she was dead, after all he should have killed her himself years ago.
