Although he found his behavior odd, he wouldn't question him. He found it cute how affectionate the man was being tonight. Sitting side by side, they looked over their menus. A couple of minutes had passed before a waiter came by with chips and salsa, setting both before them as well as two small bowls. When asked for drinks, he waited while Kieran placed his order first. Then he ordered a Coke for himself as well. Kieran soon recited his dinner order Jakob took a moment before deciding on the beef fajita. When it was his turn he told the man what he wanted and handed over his menu. The waiter took down their orders and soon left them in peace. Once he was gone, Jakob turned his attention to the man beside him. "I'm glad you're back. I missed our dates." he said, smiling shyly.

Once there order was placed, the waiter too their menus and left to get there drinks. Kieran glanced toward Miguel as he turned his attention toward him. He nodded as Miguel spoke smiling at him. " Me too." Kieran spoke leaning over to kiss Miguel on the lips. He was glad to be home. Kirean had missed Miguel, he hated being apart from him. However he had things to take care of. He only hoped Miguel wouldn't ask too much about it. Kieran didn't want to explain himself. He found it better if Miguel would just ignore it.

There would be no questioning about Kieran's whereabouts. Someone had already done him the service of filling him in, thus erasing all curiosity from his mind. Even if he hadn't known he wondered if he would want to know what he had been doing. He liked to think he would. But then again, maybe it would just be easier to think of it as work. Kind of like when he disappeared the previous month. Either way, he tried not to give it much thought. What mattered was that Kieran was back and he was safe. As he expressed himself, he watched as the man smiled and leaned over to kiss him. Jakob happily kissed him back. Pulling back, he sighed contently. He studied the man's face for a moment, allowing his eyes to soak up the details he was sure he had forgotten. "You look tired. Did you drive during your trip?" he asked curiously. It seemed like an innocent enough question. It wasn't as though he was asking him what exact highway he took there and back. Hopefully Kieran wouldn't mind answering him.

There wasn't a lot to discuss on his side. For the past month he had been tending to his mother's affairs. He knew that in his own way he had been keeping a distance. Kieran worried about what would Miguel think. He didn't want to talk about it. Kieran didn't think Miguel would push him either which he was thankful. He leaned over kissing Miguel. If anything it was something he missed, the taste of his lips. Kieran watched Miguel as he pulled back to look him over. He indeed was tired and already a five o'clock shadow was showing on his face. Kieran listened as Miguel questioned him. He nodded slightly, "Yeah, a little " Kieran didn't mind answering his question. It was simple and not evasive.

He wouldn't push since Abel had told him what he needed to know. But there were still some things he wanted to know for himself. He was just careful about how he went about presenting these questions. He didn't want to bug Kieran when he looked like hell. As Kieran came closer, he closed his eyes and kissed him tenderly. When he pulled away, he studied the man's face and questioned how mode of transportation. That least Abel had not disclosed to him. It was an easily enough guess since he had not seen his car in weeks. He took note of his tired eyes and five o'clock shadow. Jakob could only imagine how he must feel in this very moment. He watched as the man nodded and answered his question. Sighing, he leaned forward for another soft kiss. "You should have stayed home to sleep. We could have gone on a date another night." he said softly.

The last month had been hard on him. He had been driving all over, running back between his hotel and his childhood home. Kirean didn't mind taking Miguel out. It was the least he could do and he missed him. He still had questions on why Miguel was staying at his house but he didn't want to argue right now. Kirean kissed Miguel as he was kissed back. He listened as Miguel spoke. Keiran shrugged lightly, "Yeah, but then I wouldn't be able to spend some time with you." He spoke not minding that they had gone out. It wasn't long before the waiter returned with their drinks. Kieran thanked him as he took a sip from his drink.

While he was happy to at long last be spending time with Kieran, he would have preferred he took care of himself first. He didn't want to sound ungrateful or like he didn't want to see him. But one thing Abel had failed to mention was where Kieran had gone. When the man said he was tired, he wasn't sure if he was tired from driving only a few hours or the entire day. It was something he wanted to ask, but he wasn't entirely sure Kieran would answer him...at this point in time anyway. Jakob watched as the man shrugged at his comment before speaking again. Smiling, he leaned a bit closer to Kieran to kiss him again but stopped as the waiter approached. Blushing slightly, Jakob thanked the man as their drinks were set in front of them. He pulled his own closer then picked up the bottle of salsa. Pouring a small amount into his own, he turned to Kieran. "Do you want any of this?" he asked, changing the subject. It was probably for the best. If he continued on about Kieran's trip he felt like he would soon hit a brick wall and they'd end up in silence.

Kieran was glad that Miguel wasn't questioning him. He didn't want to explain himself. Kieran wasn't ready yet to talk. He just wanted to enjoy himself with Miguel. As the waiter came over to drop off their drinks, he hardly cared if he judged them for kissing. They were allowed to do as they pleased. He took note of Miguel's blush across his face. Kieran found it amusing but wouldn't tease him. He sipped his drink as he sat there. Kieran grabbed a few chips and munched in them. He watched as Miguel grabbed the salsa before speaking. Kieran shook his head lightly as Miguel questioned him. "No, I'm good right now. Thanks." He responded, at the moment he was unsure of what to talk about. Kieran had plenty on his mind but he didn't want to argue with Miguel.

He couldn't help himself for being embarrassed. While he knew that they were allowed to do as they pleased, he wasn't too keen on having an audience tonight. While he was sure at point tonight they could kiss and touch again, he wanted Kieran all himself. After so much time apart he greedy like that. He didn't want to be stared at, or worse, catch others staring at Kieran. Jakob busied himself with pouring salsa into his bowl. He watched as the man shook his head before giving him a verbal response. He nodded and set the bottle aside for now. Reaching over, Jakob grabbed a large chip for himself, dunking it a few times into the salsa. He too wasn't sure what to talk about. He didn't really want to go much further about what happened with Abel. And he knew that Kieran wouldn't say anything about his trip. He racked his brain a few minutes, trying to think of varying subjects they might be able to discuss. When nothing else came to mind, he turned again towards Kieran. "So when we finish here, I guess you're just going to take me home?" he asked. Not that they had made any plans, but he was curious how time Kieran was giving up to be with him when he knew he could be doing other things.

Kieran was in no rush to part from Miguel. He would rather spend time with him then rush home. Kieran saw no need to. He didn't know if Miguel had to go home either. Kieran munched on his chips as they sat there. He sat in silence as they both ate chips. Kirean glanced toward Miguel as he questioned him. He shrugged lightly, "Not unless you want to...I was hoping to spend more time with you and you have somewhere to be?" Kieran questioned Miguel as he teased him about being in a rush. He thought about getting a hotel room for the two of them for the night but he wasn't sure how Miguel would take it.

He too was in no rush to get home. He doubted anyone had even noticed that he was gone. Sure sometimes the others would acknowledge him. But most days he was by himself. Until Kieran had come along, he had been perfectly fine with that. Now he spent his days pining to see him again and hoping he'd at least get a text. So pathetic. Picking up a chip, he nipped a few while thinking of another topic to discuss. When at last an idea came to him, he spoke up. Once again, the man shrugged. Jakob blushed again as he was teased. "Not particularly," he said honestly. "Since you said you were tired, I wasn't sure if you'd want to hang out for that long...But uh, if you're offering...I can stay." Jakob smiled shyly as he glanced towards the man. He wasn't entirely sure by Kieran's meaning, but he thinking back on their last few dates he could take a wild guess.

Kieran didn't think Abel needed him after all he seemed in his own mind when he checked on him. He knew later Abel might question him but he wouldn't push it now. Kieran saw no need to get rid of Miguel so fast. He wanted to spend time with him for what it was worth. Kieran teased Miguel watching as he blushed at his words. He found it amusing as he listened to him talk about staying with him. Kirean leaned over to kiss Miguel, "Good, besides you can't get rid of me that quickly." He spoke teasing Miguel as he kissed him.

It wasn't as though he wanted to be rid of Kieran. Quite the opposite really. But he was understanding if he were to say he wanted to go back home and sleep for fifteen hours. So long as a certain someone kept his mouth shut there would be other dates. His only worry was that Kieran would interrogate him later. His story was only half true and he was wondering how much that Kieran was really buying. He didn't anything in fear it would spoil their mood. As he spoke he felt his cheeks heat up once more. Kieran then leaned forward to press kiss to his lips. With hooded eyes, Jakob kissed the man back. He laughed as the man then teased him. "I wasn't trying to get rid of you. I was trying to be considerate." he whined. Smiling against the males' lips, he kissed him again.

Kieran understood that Miguel was being considerate. He however was in no rush to go home. After a month apart, he was feeling needy. Kieran didn't care if he was being selfish. He wanted to spend time with Miguel for what it was worth. Kieran kissed Miguel as he teased him. He listened as Miguel whined, causing him to laugh softly. Kieran kissed Miguel again bring a hand toward his chin as they kissed, drawing him closer. "Well thank you, but I'm fine. Besides I missed you.". He responded, telling half truths. Kieran indeed missed Miguel but he wasn't fine. He kissed Miguel again, his hand trailing down his chest.
