Flitwick is a small town of roughly 13,000 people located in Bedfordshire, England, near the River Flit. In recent years it has seen its population surge, prompting more building of homes and shops to accommodate the larger number of residents. Flitwick hosts a popular farmer's market selling fresh produce every Friday. The town has a sports centre with a pool and four pubs, as well as a park on the outskirts called Woburn Forest. Flitwick Manor House, home to the Brooks family for nearly 150 years, is now a hotel that is said to be haunted by the 'Flitwick Ghost'. The Church of St. Peter & St. Paul is a medieval church in the town, recognized as a historical landmark.
