「PERSONALITY」

While she may run an art store and likes animals quite a fair bit, Glimmer Shimmer has a bite to her under her smiles and glitter. Glimmer Shimmer loves meeting new ponies and befriending them, however she's quick to drop her smile and rip those apart who push her. Glimmer Shimmer isn't the kind of pony you expect to have a backbone; she loves arts and crafts, volunteers on her free-time, and seems to always have something kind to say. She prefers a happy and easygoing life and attitude, but Glimmer has no interest in letting others step on her.

Observant and witty, Glimmer is quick to learn about another pony and stores information away. Usually, this is used to discover their favorite type of cookie or what color they may like, but Glimmer Shimmer is always ready to whirl on someone who threatens her and use the information she knows. Having been raised by a gang, Glimmer knows how to strike someone where it hurts.

On the other hand, if you're a nice pony you'll have a glitter-loving friend who will give you discounts to her store. She loves "home like" things, enjoying any reason to break out scissors or even a baking pan. If you so much as mention you need x or y she will try and make it if she can. Her motto is "homemade goods are life saving", although it makes no sense. She dreams of living a simple life full of kids and a partner and will do anything to prevent life from taking that from her.

Glimmer Shimmer believes strongly in honesty and loyalty. She will never lie and can be brutally honest. Relationships are also key to her -- become someone she's close to and she'll shed her skin for you.

「BIOGRAPHY」

Glimmer Shimmer was born to a single mother. The unicorn planned to have a child and immediately set the house up for her daughter. The basket knew great love, as the mother was the leader of a rowdy gang who instantly accepted the child within their ranks. Her mother would sing to her while she slept within her basket and doted on the infant constantly.

The gang were instantly enamored with Glimmer Shimmer. Known more for generally being a crowd of ponies who viewed one another as family and often beating up local delinquents, the gang was still feared for the type of ponies who run within it. Rougher, more aggressive personalities would surround Glimmer Shimmer, ensuring her childhood was void of bullying. Glimmer Shimmer was incredibly happy in the beginning of her childhood.

Unfortunately, her mother ended up with what seemed to be the flu at the time. As the sickness persisted her mother went to the hospital and discovered she was suffering from a disease she would not explain to her daughter. Glimmer Shimmer spent the rest of her childhood in the hospital. Her mother ended up perishing when Glimmer became a teenager, leaving the child to the gangs care. She went out of control; picking fights when she could and traumatizing the general town. This is when a gang member introduced her to crafting, which she took to immediately.

She slowly calmed down as an adult. Crafts become her passion and Glimmer left the gang to pursue a more wholesome life. This doesn't mean the gang doesn't watch over her, though. Glimmer ended up opening a store called Bits n' Bobs, which she cherishes deeply.

During a singles night excursion she met Seam Queen. Smitten by the beauty, Glimmer Shimmer instantly got her number (despite hating phones) and sought multiple dates out with the beauty. They haven't sealed the deal yet, but Glimmer is crafting a way to ask, of course.
