Xo is a dangerously independent mare, and she displays many of the personality traits that kalona are known for. She is haughty on good days and grumpy on middling days; on a bad day, she can be downright hostile. However, that doesn't stop Xo from enjoying her life - she has moments where girlish wonder sneaks in, particularly during the turning of leaves in autumn and during the blooming of new life during spring. She has little use for political machinations and would be pretty unlikely to join a herd - especially after heading about what happened with the last kalona herd. She's more likely to enjoy forming a family, if someone can get past her defenses and convince her to like them.

Tahuya is the balm to her parents' irritations. A gentle, quiet girl, her whole persona radiates calm and reasonableness. She is slightly younger than her sisters, Skykomish and Chelan, and grew up observing them and living in their shadows (by choice). As an adult, she doesn't feel inferior to them, but knows that she is different from them in her own, strong way. She is the quiet glue holding her family together, making steadying suggestions in a thoughtful voice. She enjoys spending time up to her shoulders in calm waters, absorbing the sensation of water rippling across her skin.

Euthymia is very observant and patient with others, typically unassuming and nonjudgmental, but by no means is she naive. She is extremely perceptive but does not believe it is her place to judge others. She cares deeply for her family and is most openly animated when with her siblings, of which there are many xD She is compassionate and will try to offer the insight she feels people in crisis may need, but she will also distance herself for her own protection if she feels her own mental health is at risk. She will be a very dedicated friend to anyone who dedicates time and positive energy to her.
