It goes without saying, but he's my baby. I will always have a muse for him. Even though he's an Elder now, I still want to challenge him.
Ashura is an Elder uncharmed purewalker who wields skinwalker evil and bloodlust, channeling it into an obsession for dueling and killing. Over the years, his efforts have made him an incredibly formidable, efficient killer. He is a master duelist who kills to refine his art, and continues to seek out the greatest opponents in the land.
While he used to duel and kill other purewalkers as a way to measure his skills, he's since shifted his attention to other breeds due to his understanding that there can be formidable foes of any kind based on the training they have had in their lives.
That being said, he is still a hardcore purewalker purist. He is actively working against the purewalker charming effort, and is seeking out Angeni to slaughter. He believes charms take away purewalker "freedom," that they exist to force purewalkers to fit into the world other Soquili want, rather than exist as they are naturally.
He also still believes that purewalkers have the greatest potential to be the strongest individuals in the world. Since he craves challenging opponents, he's working to prevent charming so as many purewalkers as possible can develop to contend with him.
In some way, he'd want to "guide" these receptive purewalkers to gain strength and kill those who he believes are useless, all the while culling Angeni as he sees them and, you know, just cutting down those who hinder him in any way. Promising purewalkers are only spared in hopes that they will be as strong as he has become someday, and maybe he'll finally beat an opponent he truly sees as his equal.
Ashura is also fastidious to a fault. He must be clean. It bothers him immensely when he is not.
