The Bradbury's come from a long line of American wizards, all having attended the Salem Witches Institute. The first Bradbury's to attend the Salem Witches Institute were a pair of twin sisters, seeking refuge within the protected school. The asylum provided by the institution allowed for the survival of the Bradbury bloodline and each magical heir from then on attended the institute that protected the family from extinction during and throughout several witch hunts in America.
The Bradbury's recently relocated to the UK due to a work promotion given to Abbott, the birth of Atlas and the mysterious disappearance and subsequent death of Aurora all occurring around the same time.

DrivenWhen Arwen sets her mind on something, she won't stop until she is gets what she wants or where she needs to go. Her strong-willed personality was key to getting through her last year of schooling after the disappearance and murder of her mother. Occasionally, she does get a bit of tunnel vision and forgets the importance of asking for help and just interacting with others, in general. Intelligent Arwen is very well educated and her education paired with her impressive intellect makes her very well-versed on many fronts. However, this also causes her to overthink, rather than seeing the simple solution that is right in front of her. ObservantArwen subconsciously takes mental notes of most things around her and has helped her brother locate his wallet on several occasions. Dropped gems or misplaced trinkets are usually what she spots but she has been known to notice a few hidden or masked clues during her time at school. PerfectionistIf Arwen isn't confident something will work, she won't let it happen. Making mistakes is not something she views as a necessary step. If it doesn't work like a well-oiled machine on the first try, Arwen gets distraught and will fuss over each bit of information in order to make sure it works perfectly the next time. Avoidant Arwen would much rather not participate in activities she knows she is bad at. Not only does she get embarrassed when she struggles, she believes whatever task she is doing would be better off done by someone who is well-versed in the topic. DisorganizedArwen lives in a lot of chaotic organization, though most people would see it as a mess. She knows where everything is in the disaster zone that is her living area. EARLY CHILDHOODBefore attending school, Arwen's life was pretty easy going. She had a doting father, a kind mother and a caring brother. Her parents put both Arwen and Ambrose into private school before they were accepted into the Salem Witches Institute so that they would have some experience interacting with muggles and so they could blend in if they needed to. Ambrose went to the institute first, leaving Arwen by herself for the first time. During this time she distracted herself with solving puzzles and reading old family journals and piecing together different events from each family members' lives.
SCHOOL YEARSThe beginning of Arwen's education was relatively standard. She scored well on her C.A.T.s, through a combination of prior knowledge taught to her by her family, loads of studying and a general knack for magic. It wasn't until her fourth school year, at the age of 16, her mother disappeared suddenly. The investigation was a long and grueling process and for almost two years, there was no further information. Her personal outlook turned darker, she felt helpless knowing there would be no way she could help find her mother, her previously organized and balanced life slowly deteriorated into chaos. Her grades slipped and she neglected her friends. Midway through her sixth year, she received news that a muggle had stumbled across her mother's remains buried in a shallow grave in the woods near their family home. Despite this tragic information, it offered Arwen closure, allowing her to slowly piece her life back together. She was sad often, mourned for a long while, but she also knew that time would be the only thing that would make it better. Her grades began to get better, though she still lets the chaos overtake her occasionally. When she graduated, her grades were nearly as good as they were at the start, which gave her hope for the future and the disappearance of her mother gave her an idea for her future occupation.
POST-GRADUATIONAfter the discovery of her mother's remains, she graduated from Salem Witches Institute and began to piece together all of the clues both the muggle police and wizard authorities had discovered individually. A few months after her mother's funeral, Arwen felt as though she were finally getting somewhere with her investigation when Ambrose revealed he had gotten his then girlfriend pregnant and that she was due within the next few months. And when Atlas finally did come, he was given to the Bradbury's to take care of, as Ambrose's girlfriend's family would be unable to provide for it. Around the same time, Abbott also received a promotion that would require him to relocate to the United Kingdom. Deciding that that would be in the family's best interest, Abbott moved his slowly growing family away from their family home and across the pond, into the countryside.
Shortly after moving to the UK, Arwen met a number of people, most she considers friends, although, Oliver Davis was the exception. The pair became fast friends, she found herself very much comfortable with herself around him. It wasn't long before Arwen realized she had some pretty serious feelings for Oliver, albeit, she wouldn't admit it to herself, let alone someone else. After a couple years of mutual pining, the pair finally confessed their feelings for one another and have been dating ever since.

Hopeless Romantic Ambrose loves to love - and is quite good at it. In contrast with his father, Ambrose learned quickly how to express himself and his feelings to others for the most part. He craves physical affection of others, which results in most of his affection being put into intimate relationships. SteadfastAmbrose is very loyal to those he loves, and even more protective. He has gotten into multiple scraps when confronting those speaking down upon or harming his friends and family. Patient Ambrose is patient, especially with children. He just genuinely enjoys helping people and most of the time, people just need someone who is patient to sit and listen and help them through what they're dealing with. It also helps when Atlas throws a tantrum. SecretiveAmbrose keeps certain aspects of himself very much to himself. He doesn't want others to know that he has faults, because he believes they will stop liking him. He is terrified of not being shown affection, so he does what he thinks is necessary. Escapist Ambrose tends to ignore things that will cause him future problems. If he does something that has later consequences, he will avoid the problem for as long as he possibly can. He is afraid of admitting his mistakes because he wants everyone to always be pleased by him, rather than upset. Impulsive Ambrose is very impulsive, if he gets a sudden urge to do just about anything, he will go out and do it. That's where most of his tattoos came from. He immediately does without contemplating the consequences or debating the pros and cons, very unlike his father, and more like his mother.

EARLY CHILDHOODMost of Ambrose's early childhood, he was showered with affection and gifts. His family doted upon him relentlessly and he fed off of it. At the age of four, Arwen was born. Initially, he was worried that he wouldn't get as much attention anymore, but he quickly discovered her could get everyone's attention by playing and sharing with his younger sister, who was just happy to be included.
SCHOOL YEARSAmbrose did well enough in school, he tried his hardest in his classes and that's what mattered to him, in terms of academics. His social life was much more interesting. He would flirt around with a number of girls in his year, some taking it seriously which would develop into a short-lived relationship and others blowing him off, inserting self-doubt into his life. In his sixth year, he flirted with a classmate, Juliana Baroni, and managed to woo her. In a whirlwind romance, the pair ended up dating. Ambrose thought of Juliana as someone he would marry in the future and Juliana did not see it that way. A few months after graduating, Juliana broke off the relationship, as she could tell he wanted much more out of it than she did.
POST-GRADUATIONAfter graduating and after his breakup with Juliana, Ambrose felt as if he were stranded in the middle of the ocean, unsure of how to get better and unsure of who he was as a person. He swore off relationships until he could find himself again, but, if you get a few drinks in him, that promise to himself slowly loosen. When his mother was disappeared, he hit rock bottom. After about a year of his mother missing, he found himself on Juliana's front porch and she took him in. Around the same time his mother's remains were discovered, Juliana revealed to him that she was pregnant. He was unsure of what to do from there, but the pair decided that one or the other would raise the child. That responsibility fell to Ambrose as Juliana's family was going through economic strife and would be unable to provide for another child. Ambrose finally confessed about the baby two months after his mother's funeral, deciding to face his father's disappointment than his wrath later on. Surprisingly, both Abbott and Arwen were very open to the idea of helping raise a baby. When Atlas was born, Ambrose was immediately attached. And when Abbott decided to move to the U.K., Ambrose made arrangements with Juliana to ensure that she would still have visitation with Atlas.
