description :
____ Will-O'-the-Wisps are small, nearly harmless sprites that like to play tricks on travelers. Lore dictates that travelers were often drawn off of the path by what looked to be a lantern light, where some would fall to their deaths, most notably in bogs and swamps. This has given them a bad reputation but they are not malevolent. Being creatures of fire, their bodies are made of a small flame, at the heart of which can be found a gem called a core. They can be found in almost any color. They have been seen to be manipulated by fades to let the corrupted beings know when humans are nearby.

____ Hikeshi Baba is a type of Yokai that takes the form of a withered old woman. While not benevolent, it is not aggressive either, and will almost never attack humans as it has no particular strengths. Instead, it desires the world to be dark and gloomy and will snuff out any fires it comes across in its conquest of the light. This is fairly harmless, but beware because darkness draws other Yokai, who dislike light and comfort. Hikeshi Baba spends most of its time in the spirit plane, but must come to the physical world in order to put out fires that it finds. That is the best time to strike or banish it, as it can be defeated with physical attacks. Its anchor is typically the obi of its kimono, and it will disappear if the knot is undone.

____ Goblins are small creatures, standing no more than about four feet tall, with ink black skin and thin limbs. They wear only tattered loincloths and carry a variety of rusted weapons. They keep their faces concealed with porcelain masks of various colors. Should the mask be removed, they will loose their physical form and return to the spirit plane until they can find something else to possess. They are weak, can die in similar fashions to humans, and bleed a tarry, black substance called ichor. Despite their weakness, Goblins are incredibly aggressive, and will attack almost anything that moves, aside from other Fades. However, they are considered one of the weakest among the Yokai of Tsukihara, and will follow orders of any stronger Yokai.

____ In lore the "Chimimōryō" were spirits of the mountains and rivers, often causing mischief to travelers and trying to make them lose their way, where they would then kill them and feast on their innards. When people went missing along their travels, it was attributed to one of these yokai. They bear the head of a human but a beast-like body covered in hair, which often caused confusion to those who saw it. They are a weaker type of yokai without much inherently in the way of ability, but can still be a threat to the weary on the road.

description :
____ Animated Armor is exactly as it sounds. The set of samurai-styled armor moves around on its own; nothing inhabits the inside of it, making it unable to feel pain of attacks that fall on it. Take caution around this Yokai, though, as it can possess any other armor it desirse, as long as the armor is empty, potentially making it significantly harder to defeat. The best way to avoid it becoming overwhelming is to keep armor pieces separate, so that it can only take over one piece at a time. The Yokai is held to the physical world by its helmet. While it cannot die from physical damage, destroying the helmet it is attached to drives it back to the spirit plane for an extended amount of time. Animated armor is not particularly aggressive, but like other Yokai, it dislikes humans and will likely attack them on sight. They are often found leading small patrols, alongside a couple of Masked Goblins.

description :
____ A pack-based yokai, these watery fades have no physical form normally. They can take on many different forms but typically take the shape of a four-legged beast. They will travel in groups of anywhere between three and thirty, and are almost never found on their own. And when one locks onto a target, they will all focus on that target, making them incredibly dangerous in larger numbers. However, they are not particularly hostile, and will only give chase if provoked, or commanded by a stronger yokai. Coming in contact with the water that makes up their bodies causes both corruption damage and will burn the skin with prolonged exposure. Their bodies are vulnerable to heat, which causes the water to rapidly evaporate, leaving behind a solid form that can be damaged easily. In this solid form, though, they emit a black steam that causes corruption damage in a fairly large area. Like most fades, if the mask in which they are possessing is removed or destroyed, they will lose their physical forms and return to the spirit realm.

► Liquid Form - The fade's body cannot take physical damage, as it is liquid. Because of this their form can change at will. However, their masks are fairly fragile and only take a solid hit to break. Likewise, heat can cause the water to evaporate, leaving behind a hardened body that can be damaged easily.
► Water Manipulation - Along with the ability to use some Suiton Techniques, they can manipulate bodies of water. Because of this, they have the ability to combine with other Ma no Kai'iki to become a bigger and much more dangerous version of themselves. Each fade combined increases their overall rank by a D-rank amount [i.e. [2] makes it C-rank, [4] B-rank, [8] A-rank, and [16] S-rank]. It takes a full post for them to combine with other Ma no Kai'iki, and this can be interrupted by attacking them.
► Corrupted Water - Touching the water that makes up the creature's body causes corruption damage at a rate of [2] points per hit. Likewise, if their bodies are forced into the solid form, they begin to ooze a black steam that, after one [1] post, begins to cause [2] points of corruption damage per post to anyone within five [5] meters.
► Pack Mentality - These creatures almost never travel alone, or even in small packs. In groups of [3] or more, all stats act as [1] point higher.

____ Sylphs are wind taken physical form, and the embodiment of freedom. These mischievous creatures have the ability to make themselves invisible, often making them hard to find despite being fairly common. They can also vary their size, becoming small like a fairy to the size of a small child, and typically take on a feminine form. Their colors range from blues to greens. While they can interact with the physical world, they cannot be harmed by physical attacks. However, that means they are more vulnerable to energy based attacks, despite their Fuuton techniques not exhibiting that same weaknesses. They are also incredibly susceptible to corruption.

____ In mythology, the Okuri-Inu, or Escorting Dog, was said to follow travelers and watch for them to fall down so that they could attack the helpless person. Other stories say that if the wolf is treated kindly, it will protect the traveler until they reach their destination. This does not seem to be the case in the new world. These massive wolves, although rare, are dangerous to travelers. Often, they will wait until their target appears weak or tired and then strike, and few have gotten away to tell the tale. The wolves are pitch black, appearing to be made of swirling shadows, with glowing white eyes, about twice the size of a normal wolf. They only appear at night.

However the shadows it is traveling through must be connected in order to traverse it. It takes [1] activation to enter the shadows, and [1] additional activation to exit. They cannot physically interact with objects while in this state, and if their source of shadow disappears, they immediately become solid again
