CHILDHOOD Amelia was born to Clarence Forester and Gemma Moors, the child of a series of drunken hookups. Her father didn't want to have children and therefore refused to have anything to do with her beyond child support, while Gemma didn't want to have children either and ended up saddled with the responsibility of raising one. As a result, Amelia was mostly raised by the rest of the Moors family, her uncle and late aunt largely giving the most care while her grandparents doted on her and her cousin Charmaine endlessly. Amelia ended up finding herself well-cared for while her mum visited from time to time, largely to check on her and see how she was doing.
There was a reason for her mother's distance, however. Amelia, unbeknownst to her, had exhibited magic at the age of three, and her mother initially tried to blame Amelia's father for the freakish incident. However, it came to light that Amelia had an older half-brother, Chance, who, like her, was also magical. She discovered this when a friend of hers kept listening to some musician and commenting that he was really 'dreamy' and Amelia, curious, asked who he was. When it came to light that the 'dreamy' singer was, in fact, Amelia's older half-brother, Amelia was shocked, but not nearly as shocked as when she found out that she, like him, was magical. Gemma was furious, as she had denied that she was the cause of the magical 'freakness' for so long. Meanwhile Amelia discovered that there was a wider world out there of magical folk and that she had been accepted to attend Hogwarts, the same school that Chance had attended a couple of years prior.

SCHOOL YEARS
- ◊ FIRST YEAR Amelia went to Hogwarts and was sorted into Hufflepuff, the same house her brother had been in. She also discovered her brother's sisters, well, one of them, wasn't too keen on having another girl be related to their brother. However, that was not the majority of his other family, and she got along decently enough with them. Otherwise, her school year was interesting with regards to learning about magic and everything about it.
◊ SECOND YEAR Amelia's second year wasn't too bad. She hung out with friends and did her coursework, all the while hearing that her brother had a kid. Well, it was definitely a novel experience finding out that she was now an aunt.
◊ THIRD YEAR Third year was busy for Amelia, with new classes and more work. She didn't mind, but she wished that she had a bit more time. She felt like she was too busy to think sometimes!
