One of the underground subway systems in Japan an intersecting maze that spreads over most of the provinces due to multiple revisions to the subway system. Many parts of the subway have been longed abandoned and are inhabited by homeless and generally fought over in turf wars but due to all sections of the subway intersecting their are many pathways that connect to the active subway system, where there are active trains and where storm riders do lose their lives. Miyu wanted to be alone for a while, so she came down to the subway. Well, there were always riders here racing but they wouldn't bother her if she didn't act interested. She was sitting on the platform dangling her legs over the track. She was having trouble putting on her fake personalities since everything happened and she talked with Kai. It was starting to scare her because she couldn't talk to anyone like this. Well except Kai for some reason, she found it easier to talk to him. Maybe it was the pain meds she was on though. Thankfully they were no longer making her super tired. SHe had a different outfit on than the one she wore at the party. She sighed as she watched some riders. She pulled out her phone and went online to check out the social media, where she saw someone familiar wanting a challenge. She decided to reply and then put her phone down as her heart fluttered a bit. "What's wrong with me?" She asked her self before closing her eyes then laying down waiting for Kai.

It did not take long for Kai to show up. He was already snooping around the neighborhood due to a patreon photo-shoot in order gain some extra money. It's ironic how much people paid for his photos. Almost same amount that was paid for rated X accounts and he wasn't even stripping or anything. Making it to the underground and seeing his opponent, of course this day was just going down the drain. A sigh came over him as he would roll up and wait. What exactly was shes doing here? She was the person on the.....of course. This was the same person who got him in this situation. Granted, his team wasn't following orders so they went way overboard with the punishment but still. There was some malice there and Kai wasn't able to control that mixed with shame for how everything went down. Broken body was fine, but the line that was crossed. He kind of was glad the Knights had to start over. "Ready when you are"

Miyu stood up and looked back at Kai. He had gotten here much faster then she had thought. "Hello Kai...." She said nervously as she then looked away, talking with him had been much easier when she was on the serious painkillers. Now it seemed so difficult and she could feel her face going red. She didn't like talking to people and so she was somewhat glad when he simply said very little. She just nodded in his direction for a yes and pointed down the railroad tracks. "Next station stop is the goal." She said quickly as she hopped down onto the tracks and got ready. She had no idea if she was going to win though, it really depended on Kai's road and if he had acc tricks because she did not. She was ready to go and would wait for Kai to get into position before waving over one of the riders who had now gathered after seeing a dash get put together. The rider would give them the start so it was fair.

Is this seriously a person that's a storm rider? I hate the idea that someone so weak could try get into something like this.... However, wouldn't it be my job make her stronger now? Honestly, if it wasn't for storm riding and keeping people safe...and the sport out of a negative light...Kantero...just...let it be He was fighting internally on this situation but the time would come for them to take their positions. He was dressed up in black jeans, shades on his head and a tank top that had some unknown metal band on it. Once on the starting line, he would wait for the impartial rider to start the count down. Once it started, he would put his shades on and soon as it was time to begin, Kai took off. He may felt bad. He may felt a duty but she wanted get stronger she would have to learn the hard way. Maybe everything happens for a reason and these were all lessons they needed to learn? Taking off, his treks would start to gather traction. Flames starting to spark and form from his treks. The flames were left in a trail behind him as he continued down the subway line. He didn't check to see where she was. His goal was forward and his goal was to win.

Miyu mentally slapped herself as she screamed internally. What the hell was wrong with her, she just needed to take on her storm rider personality and this would be easy. Hell, the assassin one wouldn't be so bad but she couldn't do it. She didn't understand it at all, what was wrong. She was a master at faking things, it's how she functioned. Her real self was useless and being fake meant she was more real than her real self. Regardless there was nothing to do as they got ready to start. Once the countdown happened she took off, seemingly just behind Kai, they practically had the same acceleration. She wanted him to think she was losing though. With this useless personality, it probably made her seem weak. Him not looking back helped to serve her purpose as well as she activated Oh Time! She looked up to the ceiling to make sure she had enough space and figured she could most likely make it. It was just enough space and while normally this move was flashy, if one couldn't see her then it was an invisible pass trick. A diagonal jump started it out as she began the Method to Spin That Grab Moonride. It was basically a fancy way of passing people over there heads. Though normally one might stop she would not and instead when she landed in front of Kai after the little fancy air moves, invisible she would continue to go. And Kai she would think would be none the wiser thanks to her Oh Time! And if he did look backward she would not be in sight playing off to the thought that she was weak and slow. Now hopefully she'd just keep here just ahead of him invisible the entire time and come out in first.
Tricks: -→ Air Method to Spin That Grab Moonride l F -------► This flashy technique is used for aerial vaulting to bypass other riders in an array of acrobatic maneuvers. The arching trick begins with a diagonal jump, appearing as though the body is intended to simply go through a forward flip. Not long after gaining air does the user tilt forward and aside in a three hundred and sixty-degree corkscrew. During this motion the body is constantly in an arcing path, turning and contorting in a slow and steady aerial gyroscope. Once exiting the corkscrew the user's frame is turned horizontally, upper body still winded as they turn and perform an inverted split with their legs. After this peak maneuver, the user turns with their back facing the intended landing area. During the entire way down, the user performs a singular somersault, stabilizing for the backward riding skid to a stop.
→ Oh Time! l E -------► The very basic of all Apollon Riders tricks. Fairly simple in process, the Apollon rider generates an amass sense of heat. Time' is just the influence of heat, light, and other Flame based riding aspects to produce abnormal effects. In this beginner instance, the user uses a visual phenomenon known as "Total Reflection". Using the heat build from the Flame Road, the user will cause the temperature and humidity of the air about them to heighten, bringing it to the extent that they become invisible temporarily. This, being the same principle under which mirage's and heat hazes work, is a more discreet and less flamboyant way of producing the road's effects.

This was going way too easy. There was something a miss here. He didn't know what. Nor did he care. He remembered how stressful his style of riding was. It was crazy to say the least, but not something he was ashamed off. Aggressive and putting your all into it, it what he trained for. Soon, the rider would come into view. If she had more freedom above it could of allowed her go farther in front of him but she was hindered by the subway keeping her wings in check and that was going to be the down fall. As she came into view, wires would attack her, going to wrap around her tightly. While this usually dumped someone on their head, he simply was just going to use it to pull her back and launch himself forward. Honestly, if connected, there so many things it could of done. He wasn't thinking about the fact, the wires were probably going to be blazing hot considering they were two riders who used heat in different ways. Oh well. "Nice to see you actually making this somewhat not an automatic win" He yelled, his eyes squinting behind his shades.

Miyu landed she would glance backward to see wires coming at her. Quickly she activated time shield of heated rising updrafts to deal with the wires. It would take the image of a grandfather clock and gears. It was usually very effective against projectiles though she was not sure about how it would work with wires. Generally, worst it would slow them and throw off where they were going compared to where she was. To be sure that didn't happen again she activated Oh Time! and hoped Kai would be slowed by the shield as well. She hadn't expected to lose her invisibility but it made sense, not enough heat in the air. Not unless she had heated the tunnel beforehand which now that she thought of would have been a good idea. Regardless she could get away from the wires but she needed to hit the max speed that way if she was in front, Kai's flame road tricks wouldn't help him. She could keep her Oh Time going so if she needed she could maybe get in a dirty move or two. "Funny." It was about the best she could get out as she continued forward, she was not even sure why she was racing him. She just wanted to crawl into her bed and sleep, yet here she was so she supposed it'd be good to finish it out.

Don't slow down. He said to himself. It would of been too easy if his wire plan would of worked as needed. Of course it didn't, but that use of time shield! He could of used engulf, but decided against it. Instead, he would focus on getting to the max acceleration and blowing by her. It was only equal now because of the tricks used. Because flames was just that. Producing flames. Afterburner, now that was something to end this quickly. He was curious whether she had any similar types of tricks. Didn't matter anymore though. Using afterburner, his previous position would hold nothing more than a ball of fire in its wake. Then to the side, be the same, and even a little up the walls of the subway. Where did he go? He was working his way around her. First, it was the trick pass to ride her air stream, taking the less resistance of the air to speed up faster. Then, it was afterburner, the skillfulness of this was he sacrificed his body to use it, breaking through the shield. Of course it burned and by end of that, his already compromised shirt was basically filled with singed marks and burns, but it was the risks he would take to win! Besides, he would just borrow a hoodie or something if he needed to cover himself. The dash was just above over. How would she counter this?!

Miyu figured if he had any acceleration tricks he'd use them now as the race was getting close to over. So she did the one thing she could do, instead of staying invisible she would fill the subway with Time Sheilds, all in the hope of slowing him down even more. She had to use four to cover the subway fully to ensure he couldn't just go around, in turn, though that was a lot of heat concentrated in one area. This time she didn't look back as she raced to get to the finish line. She made her play now it was just time to focus on getting to the end, trying to win. Why did she want to win though, she didn't want to really. No, she wanted something else and she knew what it was. She wanted to impress Kai because she liked him and she could somewhat talk to him. She couldn't talk to really anyone else, even her mother. She could say maybe a few words to her and that was it. So here she was driven on by the desire to impress Kai and show him she wasn't useless. When she reached the finish line she would look around to see who won. "That was everything I had." She said taking a deep breath feeling the strain on her legs, she was still on painkillers and she pushed her body far enough for today. How had she'd fared compared to Kai.

Linda's riding took her a different part of town, as she was riding around she noticed some riders going down some stairs to an underground area. Riding up to the stairs she noticed that the staircase looked like it was leading to some subway station something Japan did differently from America. America from her experience had more subways above rather than underground, but seeing riders go down she wanted to join them to see what the underground brought her, maybe she could meet some new people like she did at the party. Backing up a little she jumped onto a railing as she grinded down the steps until she was on the base floor, once on the base floor she rode ahead as she looked to her left and right to see other riders around the area, some with their friend or others having some parts war. Speaking of a parts war there was one she was watching in particular of two she recognized back at the party, one girl and another guy. When she really looked at the guy she was surprised to find that it was Kai, a very popular and famous cosplayer, plus she was a big fan of him. It was crazy for her to meet a famous cosplayer like himself, since she was just a cosplayer who liked to do it for fun and had roughly around a hundred followers. But Kai was different he had followers in the thousands, she knew he was a very talented rider as well since she follows his page as well. Linda never had a problem with meeting people who she thought was famous in her eyes, she did feel nervous on the inside but on the outside she always tried to treat them as any normal person. Waiting for the race to end she would ride up to them as she greeted Kai first."Um excuse me Are you Kai Kantero? Of Kai Kantero cosplay? I saw you back at the party and I wanted to come say hi but I saw that you were busy. I ... I just wanted to say that I'm a big fan of your work! I'm a cosplayer myself but just a small time, but not compared to you!" Linda then paused as she looked over at the girl then back at Kai continuing. "I'm not interrupting anything am I?" Linda asked as she would remain idle looking at Kai mostly but keeping an eye to the other girl showing that she is aware of her presence.

I see he would think as he looked at the time shields and would go through one of them. It wasn't enough to disqualify him from winning but it made it where Kai wasn't really into it anymore. He should of been able to win this race easily!! Not being able to win easily just meant he needed more training. For that, it wasn't a win he deserved so a win he wasn't going to try and actually grab. Basically, he saw fault in his skills so instead trying hard this time, he rather come back and dominate the next time. Coming to a stop at the finish line, he would be at a lost for words as he was already coming up with a plan that he needed to do work out wise. More cardio and building up stamina. Less strength department. Least, she showed she wasn't completely useless. Good to know. He would take that L as a lesson. Not saying nothing, he would start to head out before he stopped hearing someone approaching. Well, this was definitely not a good public appearance. Where was his shirt? Mostly burned and singed but least it covered some parts of him. He raised a brow intrigued. He really need get a cosplay name. Hearing his name twice just made it more apparent. A disgusted look naturally came over his face when she mentioned that party. He rather forget about it. However, it soften when she was talking about being a fan of his cosplay and being a cosplayer. "Oh?" he questioned, the annoyed look still on his face. "We were just having a parts war. However, I honestly not decent for public eye. My publicist would kill me if he saw me like this." he added before starting to head past the Linda and would head towards the exit. "I guess you want an autograph or something? Look. Just follow me. I heading home. We can talk more there... Trust me. Nothing will happen to you. Miyu, keep her company as her eyes and ears. I not about go down like Vic Mignognia Because of false allegations."

Miyu looked back to see Kai behind her but it felt wrong. Something wasn't right, those time shields wouldn't have stopped him unless they had all been stacked behind one another. She had a feeling he didn't give it his all by the end or he purposely let her win. Which was not the point but in the end she couldn't do anything about it so no reason to bother. No words were spoken between them about the race which she preferred considering she might have let slip that she wasn't happy about the win. Regardless he was going to leave she reached out for him to try and grab him to get his attention. Then another girl stepped in and seemed to know him. Miyu went dead silent as she couldn't even begin to get words out. She no longer wanted to be here with so many people around. She didn't understand why it couldn't just be Kai and her. As she talked to him she then asked about interrupting something which Miyu wanted to scream yes but instead, she felt the girls eyes on her. It made her skin crawl, she didn't like people she felt claustrophobic around them almost. This was why she had fake personalities so she could deal with this but now thanks to Kai or his presence she couldn't draw upon that strength to help her.
Miyu didn't even realize as she was thinking that she had hidden behind Kai wrapping her arms around him almost as if a child would hiding behind a parent. Though in this case her arms went fully around and touched his now relatively bare chest. She could feel his muscles and her body reacted to it. Thankfully she was not a guy where such reactions would be clearly visible. So instead as he mentioned to keep her company she nodded letting go of his body quickly and spouting off a quick word or two. "...uhh yeah, I can do that." That sounded so stupid she realized only after she had said it so it was too late to take it back. Her face became redder than it already had and she just looked down to try and hide it. She truly wished of all times she could just take on one of her brave personalities with no trouble talking to people. She was ready to follow Kai out though and do as he asked.

When Linda heard from Kai that he was having a parts war with the young girl she looked at both of them as she nodded once, then when he mentioned he had a publicist she would be amazed. "Ah you have your own publicist thats pretty amazing." Linda was just a cosplayer who cosplayed just for fun she would never understand the world of cosplayiing on his level, someone who cosplayed for money which was even crazier to her. Then she watched as the other girl was behind Kai as she had her arms around him, this told Linda that they might of been dating. But Linda didn't mind that at all since she wasn't looking to hook up with the famous cosplayer, she wanted to befriend him more than that. Then when Kai rode past her and mentioned how she wanted an autograph or something she would begin to shake her head at first, but when he invited her to his house since he was going there she would be surprised by this. It wasn't everyday a famous cosplayer invited someone to their house especially that of a stranger, but she didn't feel uncomfortable or wrong about it she just simply nodded and said. "Alright then, lead the way." Then when he added Miyu to come long with her as an eye witness and not wanting to fall under like Vic she would have a hurt expression. "Ah Poor Vic, I understand Kai, lets go." Linda said as she would follow after Kai on her air treks as she watched the other girl follow along as well.
Fuji had issued his challenge and accepting it without hesitation, the golden-locked man had waited for him to stretch. Symon was taken by surprise when the boy's irises shifted into a strange pattern and his hand shot out, latching onto the collar of his jacket. A lot of possibilities as to what the kid was planning came to mind for Symon, but it was easy to tell which one he went for. Planting his feet, Fuji's head reeled back and came crashing into Symon's. It felt like it had enough force to split a rock and Symon began to fall back as if to drop dead. The spot where the iron headband met his head had turned red and blood streamed down his face, dripping onto the stone surface of the roof. He relaxed his body as he dropped, applying pressure to the back wheels of his A-Ts, shooting himself right underneath Fuji's legs. Symon slid to the edge of the roof, wheels of his A-Ts screeching along the ground and grabbed the scarf Fuji wore around his neck. "My turn," he hissed, head feeling as if it would simply split open. He yanked hard on the scarf, using the momentum gained from spinning on his treks to toss Fuji over the railing, soon following after.
Symon leaped from roof to roof with Fuji in hot pursuit, leading him on a wild chase across the city. He barreled past crowds, throwing objects here and there to ensure that Fuji was still following. Coming up on his intended destination, Symon sped up and entered a tunnel near a freeway that connected into the subway. It was here that he intended for the battle to continue.
