The one who enjoyed the chicken, and the sassmouth man who Therese was pegging to be a bit arrogant. His mouth was rather foul to boot. A shame, since he was a pretty handsome fellow. Handsome till he opened his mouth. The way he spoke to his own teammates left a bad taste in the back of her throat. Ick. Was he really going to be an opponent? At least her challenge broke through, as the air about them shifted, most of them coming from the male. the blue haired female had been speaking of her choosing somebody, but picking had become out of the question. With ZJ immediately jumping into it literally, Therese was met with the full height of her new opponent. Hmph. He seemed a bit shorter from above. From here he was the height of a damn tree! Winning something from Mercy sounded fantastic as a prize but she doubt she'd be able to literally keep it once she was done here... Dammit she had bad luck. "As if I plan to lose on purpose. If I had I would have never made the challenge."
With her opponents treks at the ready, Therese made sure to unlock hers. Her mystogan treks were prepared, and she could only hope they held the same properties as outside the game. At least the kind of aes they could do would end up being something she was familiar with, but it wasn't a sort of match she had the pleasure to try. Catch the balloon... Or incapacitate. How fun the second choice would have been to pick. Unfortunately she was unsure of which road he was upon, or how smart it would have been to outright rush into a head on attack. His statement to doubting her abilities was a bit of an insult though. "Hmph. Just because you are one of the best does not mean you should overlook and assume the abilities of those you just happen to meet. Thirty minutes is plenty enough time. Bring it. It just so happens I do not pull punches myself." Once the balloon had fully went airborne, Therese used her left foot as leverage, bringing the back of her heels down onto the treks to get the acceleration to go. The motors in them prepared she accelerated forward with full speed, her eyes on the sy at the balloon. The race had commenced and the first aim was to get ahead of the opponent. How ZJ would fare from there would be the start to true observing.

Anna didn't have to deal with the womanizer on her lunch break. She knew if she requested him to be quite, he wouldn't. She knew he wasn't going to leave so that she can have peace. That left her with one option. Gathering her things, she was going to take her lunch elsewhere. Getting up, she was going to leave. He could have the damn table.
Well, that went exactly how he expected.. kinda. He would look to see that the woman eventually got up and left. Was it something he said or did she really hate him that much? Ironic, he wasn't sure whether be proud or upset by that. A thought of somewhat shame came to his mind, but what was it to him. Maybe apologize? He didn't know. He did know he was fast. Getting up, he would eventually trail the lady.

Spunky!That was cute. Almost reminded him of his monster of a sister.She seemed fired up for the challenge. Hades couldn't help but awaken itself in the wake. His eyes dawning the twinkle. His lips, moist from his tongue as he was ready for the challenge. His regalia roaring to life, the skulls crying as they gained heat from the internal system within. Maximum output activating itself. Sure, Mercy may be mad about that, but she was going to get over it. Least, he hoped so. "It's not simply overlooking. I just know I am better" Hades stated, his shadow behind him as his presence growled with the regalia. The shadow, preparing its Scythe for the hunt.. He would say nothing else form that. Once she slammed onto the acceleration to start moving, he would shift his weight as well. HIs heels coming down activating his treks and chasing after Therese.
Since his acceleration was faster, it was only a couple of moments before the king would be towering over her. Unfortunately, he didn't weight for that. This was a battle after all. Trailing her, he would suddenly stop and snap kicked. The snap kick resulting in molten air being shot towards Therese. It was a simple air canon, the shell ripping through the air. ZJ taking the first swing with his deadly scythe.Hopefully she had a counter or was able get out the way. If not, this was going to be a long day. He hoped she wasn't bluffing about wanting to win.

She could have chanced on looking back, but that would have been foolish, and she was at a big disadvantage already by the regalia alone. By the get go Therese knew she had to begin the build up of moisture into her Mistogan's. This was a much stronger opponent then her after all. The boost of acceleration at the start off gave her little window to begin that build up process. There was no surprise when he had caught up to her in no time, his towering height hovering over her own shortness. His trailing behind her in her wake was an annoying bit. It made understanding of his actions behind her, but it was then he would suddenly stop had her senses went on high alert. "Hmph." The sound residing behind her gave way he was on the offensive. Defence it was for the latter. In order to get out of the directory of the bullet Therese was prepared. Changing her footwork up, and with small bursts of acceleration by pressuring more weight onto the front half of her treks, she would begin to zigzag her steps 7 feet from left and right. It allowed her a better chance to duck down closer to the ground to avoid the shell in time,only a mere strands of loose hairs being caught in its draft, crisping them. With annoyance she began to make use of the moisture she had stored up from the built up acceleration, as within her zigzagging Therese had been slicking up the ground under her feet. With enough to work with she began to put her plan into action, causing a rather large amount of miniscule bubbles, sending them towards ZJ in hopes to obscure his vision by conducting a few veils of mist to set more astray for even just a few moments. Strength and speed she was a goner, but her intentions on strategy were towards a different angle.

The hunt began. The first round, would have to go to Therese. The nightingale within reach of the Reaper's scythe but escaping elegantly from the blade. The reaper will have it's day. Seeing the nightingale fly away from the grasp, the reaper would reset and reload. The battle of the shadows elegantly displaying the battle of the treks that was occurring in reality. Well, virtual reality. If Therese wanted to live and die by strategy then she could gladly due so. Living by it would be on her head. As for ZJ. He wasn't a man of tactics. He wasn't a man for plans. That's too much work .He was a man of dominance and overpowering.
Chasing after Therese, she used the basics to get out of the way. Trick past boost by her lather road. That was fine and dandy but she really pissed him off with the bubbles and mist obscuring his vision. He didn't stop moving forward, but he did slow down a little just off the basis of he couldn't see too well, water getting into his eyes. Luckily for him, his territory. He knew it like how he knew he was the s**t. Agitation and annoyance by how she was expanding the distance, he looked towards to see where the balloon was. 30 Meters behind them. They were going away from it? He could go after it, but he was rage filled. With incredible stomps, instances of perceivable breaking would occur. The heat building up into streams, propelling him forward. The reaper was catching up. His wheels showing a tint of orange, the distance was being closed again, ZJ's path a good 10 feet to the side of Therese, but vertically he was gaining by the moment. Of course, he still need close the horizontal gap but he wasn't worried too much about that for now.
Twinkled crosses staring at her, it was time for the next round of the hunt. However, he didn't attack her. Instead, he would slightly get ahead of her vertically, being in the lead like in a race, but why?

Though the more inexperienced riders are not yet at a point where they can properly propel the heat, they can expel it in a 'nitrous stream'. By building a massive amount of heat through acceleration of their natural run, the heat will naturally cycle the circumference of the wheel, gathering as a light glowing tint of orange. The layered heat is released in specifically timed strides wherein the user stomps and tilts forward, pressuring and braking with the front wheel for a brief second. Despite the instance of braking in the trecks, the user actually shows no sign of having attempted to stop. Instead the nitrous stream funnels out from behind the trecks, forcing a massive speed increase to reach max in a matter of moments. The release used in the Air Stream trick is a juvenile version of the more powerful, compressed, ones used later on. This trick can only be used every other post. This is a D Rank Trick.
~*~*~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~* The reaper was making this match based on brawn. Brawn was admirable, but there was only so far pure power alone could take a person. The nightingale wasn't about to rely on pure brutality. Her own shadow had been reflecting her actions upon the ground, wings on its back spanned down near its back, rushing further then Therese was. During the vision debuffing of her opponent Therese would rotate her body 180 degrees into a moonwalk in order to keep a better eye on ZJ. Keeping to a neutral speed on the matter with medium strides to her feet, it was more on seeing how her opponent would respond to the mist, hoping to figure out an opening to work with. Just hovering above his head, she could spot the target far off from them, narrowing her eyes. Too far from it.... Looking away from her opponent had been a mistake though, as her opponent had taken no time to catch up near her once more, easily noting the anger reverating from the other man despite his forward posture being used to gain momentum against wind resistance. A rather wise tactic in order to catch up to her, but the object of their desires had been going the opposite direction, and chasing after her instead of getting the bottle would have made a much better choice. No matter, if he had noticed this as well, clearly he had something up his sleeve. For what it was though Therese wasn't sure where to point her finger about it. With his quick catching up once again, it of course would not take him to long to get ahead. With a faint smile an idea had come to mind, an idea coming out of this. Remaining in the moonwalk while propelling around a beam that was part of the site in her path, Therese would come into a complete stop, setting the breaks to her treks once he would get ahead of her. With more gathered moisture to the treks, she would lower down to almost a crouch, bringing weight to her left leg, using it as leverage for the upperhald of her body. Her left hand pressed to her knee cap, while the right made contact with the ground. Therese would then begin to rev the treks, with more power to the left then the right because of the weight difference, and by revving the treks, large bubbles began to form from the moisture build up. The few bubbles made would remain stable, as she would continue to add more larger and more stabilized bubbles alongside them, forming almost a sort of wall between both riders. For the moment she was unable to move because of this build up, mostly lying in wait now for ZJ to make his move and strike when she felt she should.

The main usage of these new bubble wielding skill is in the 'Bubblebeam' technique. The rider amasses bubbles in a continues stream, remaining stationary. Despite being on the somewhat slow side, these bubbles have the potential to completely shred clothing, deliver shallow cut wounds, and slow down the effected rider with a slightly numbing tingle from vibrations caused by resonation. Around A Rank, the user's skill has reached the point where the speed of the bubble production and release is faster than most projectile type attacks. -----------------------------------------

The big guns were starting to come out and Zj was more than happy to kick this into the next gear. She was playing the separation game. She didn't want to fight close which was fine when your road is equipped for distance. She had bubbles, but his shells were going to shoot her down. The reaper was preparing for the hunt again. Even with Therese stopping, the hunter wanted to continue. He wanted to say ******** her bubbles and go through, but he knew that would just do more damage to him than needed. He couldn't really see where she was, but she had to be somewhere on the other side. ******** it! As if performing the 'Air Stream' trick, ZJ released a film of heated air. This film, however, is made up of the same vapor as in the 'Air Cannon' trick. ZJ then releases a massive array of snap kicks, aiming to constantly puncture the film left before him. The resulting effects appears as a bullet stream of heated air beams. Despite being small, the accumulated bullets had some extreme intensity behind them and piercing power. Using the gatling, he would try have his beams pierce through her bubbles and hopefully pierce Therese. However, he wasn't sure if he be able to hit her. If anything, he did know he was tearing that bubble wall!! "The reaper is getting closer!!"

2.Air Gatling: Death Riders of the highest level have reached a point where their abilities are able to be broken down to their basis for use. In this uncommon, but innately powerful, technique such is expressed. Like in the earlier learned release method, the user is required to kick multiple times in rapid succession. The motion, however, has changed. After a build of heat from acceleration, the user will arc a kick, braking at the same time their treck leaves the surface used to gain friction. As if performing the 'Air Stream' trick, the user releases a film of heated air. This film, however, is made up of the same vapor as in the 'Air Cannon' trick. The user then releases a massive array of snap kicks, aiming to constantly puncture the film left before them. The resulting effects appears as a bullet stream of heated air beams. Despite being small, the accumulated bullets fire with an intensity far beyond that of the earlier Death Road techniques. This bullet stream has potential to both dent and puncture sheet metal. Each compressed air bullet that make up the Gatling fire evaporate upon contact with flesh, leaving noticeable singe marks and bruises. This is an A Class trick.

Ironic to the situation at hand, the quiet poetic boy did not accompany the others. It was a situation that was leaving him very conflicted. However, he knew that the others were going to be okay. Atleast, Husni and the twins. The others, well it was already too late for them. He wasn't a family man. That was for sure. He was always locked up in his room working on his stories but it was amazing the amount of guilt he was feeling. Maybe if he took riding as serious as Eva he could of done something. What? What more could he have done? What difference would it have made? He went on through the night thinking this and it kept in his brain for the next day. The next day wasn't a good one either. He had to volunteer as a substitute teacher at a local college. Even though he graduated, he still had community service to do. Arriving to the college,the kids would see an interesting person before them.
Walking into the classroom, a figure with torn hoodie would appear before them. His face had bandages on it which some were from cuts and majority of it seemed to be from burns. Burns from flame road rider.His face didn't show any signs of an emotional expression. Was he happy to be there? Sad to be there? Was he even human? Many rumors were flying around. The look into his eyes showing the crosses gave weight to one of the rumors. Some people got it. Some people understood why his demeanor was the way that it was. They understood knowing about the events that took place that night. His family was decimated. He had to be decimated. The fact he was even there was noble at worse and yet he wasn't breaking down. He wasn't sheltering himself. Others wanted to console him while some just sat there quietly. A Daisetsu was in the house. One that got away~. Taking off his hood, he would look over the room before setting his notebook down on the desk. A couple of swoons coming from the more unintellectual side of the classroom that didn't understand that he was probably not in an emotionally stable state.
"Okay class. Today's assignment....is just writing a 10 page story. You have class period start on it. It's due tonight at midnight. I'll try answer any questions that I can but please note there may be some things I do not know. The topic is whatever you want it to be. It's a free assignment. My name is Xander Daisetsu if you need anything" With that, he took his seat and opened his notebook. However, nothing was being written. He was just staring at a blank piece of paper. A sigh released from his lips. This, was stressful. He wondered where his twin was. Was she okay?

Her shift at the coffee shop was over. It was time for her to go to class. There was a lot for her to think about. Especially with her talking to her best customer that morning. That was had to be a heavy burden on his shoulders. Getting on the bus, she was on her way to school. All of her homework and assignments that were due, we done. She was ready for what needed to be done next and she knew she had an exam or two coming up soon. Getting off the bus, she had a nice little walk to the English building. This semester, she was taking creative writing. Something she had been dying to take for a long time.
Getting to class right on time, she sat in the front like she normally did. As always, she was earlier than everyone else and she lived off campus. Taking her earphones out, she would put her phone away having it on silent. When the teacher walked in, there was a look of confusion on her face. He looked injured and like he needed to be in someone's hospital. The room was just buzzing and then it just got worst when her took the hood of. Dee Dee sat up really straight in her chair. Why was he here? He needed to be at home with his family. Some of the college girls were complete air heads. Like really whores, he is going through a hard time. She didn't understand. The look of concern on some of their faces and her own spoke volumes. They were worried for him no doubt.
Once the assignment as given to the class, there was no way she would have a 10 page story done by midnight. She still had two other classes after this and she wouldn't be out her last class until 9 pm. She could get a good start now, but she needed to brainstorm. What to write about? Looking up as he sighed, she felt so bad for him. It was hard to focus looking at him so broken. She knew he was a famous exotic fiction writer so that gave her an idea. Getting to work, she started her brainstorm about an interracial couple that meet while in college. The girl went home with her boyfriend for Thanksgiving and learned that his family were bigots. They disapproved of him dating a black woman.
