She was called out by Sandayu, who would instruct her to say what was on her mind if it went against whatever Sandayu had done. Obei's right hand slowly balled into a fist, the air around it cooling into a bitter cold while her crimson eyes focused on. Her mouth remained in the stoic shape it was always in though inside of them, her teeth were gritted against one another. Silence rang through the air as the oni would continue to glare at the leader, her armored hand getting to levels where the material would most likely be in danger of freezing itself before she finally relented. Obei crossed both arms and simple watched the two Uchiha train with one another while soon leaning against a tree that was close by.

__ Sandayu noted his wife's silence as sign that she was quite tired of waiting. He looked to Moriko as she jotted down the Iga Clan's code, noting the most minuet signs of hesitation or lagging in her writing. He could tell the differences as well, but for the most part found little reason to doubt her as she retained her passionate expression while swearing to head his teachings. 'There may be hope for her...' She had a type of potential that actually out-scaled what he originally believed and he hoped that there was even more to come. He nodded to Moriko after she requested further instruction regarding her awakened dojutsu. "Very well." He looked to an area of land adjacent to anyone and the seams of reality came unfurled as a passage overlayed the fabric of reality being split apart. He announced sternly, not intending to repeat himself again, "Let's go." He'd lead the way through the gateway to what looked like a volcanic landscape waiting further in the distance.
Upon entering, it would be obvious from the very flavor and scent of the air that they were no longer on the same world as before. In the opposite direction of those volcanic lands was a city-sized fortress, which he'd point to then look to Obei. The tall Oni woman seemed to still lack the strength to stand up to him even for her own beliefs but that only affirmed his strength as far as he was concerned, "I'll take care of Kagami, so you are excused for the time being." Sanda retracted his hand to form the unique seal for the Shadow Clone technique. The clone would speak to Moriko, his tone less scornful than it was toward Obei, but still quite stern, "Sister, we'll begin your training now. Follow me." The clone of her brother would lead her and her lion pet away toward the volcanic area to begin her mastery over her developing dojutsu as well as the powers dwelling inertly within. Moriko would be instructed on basic and more advanced skills and techniques at her discretion, all while Sandayu's clone reminded her of the relevance of the Code to everything she did. If Obei preferred a different location then she'd merely have to ask the other clone of Sandayu that was working within the fortress she'd been directed to.
The real Sandayu would open another Yomotsu Hirasaka leading to a different area of his newly created pocket dimension. He would take Kagami by the hand through the gateway leading to a tropical paradise. This portal closed promptly behind them and he'd release his wife's hand to set both of his on his hips and take in a deep breath. "Haaaohhh... finally, everything is coming together perfectly." He did mean to include Kagami's own goals as he took comfort in the progress of his own. "I figured out how to make my own space, so that we would no longer need Masato's Kamui realm. Funny that I managed this as an experiment before he got cold feet. A whole world, apart from the other, where everything simply works the way it should." He didn't mind helping Kagami continue to right the wrongs in her world, but having his own made those problems seem especially smaller. Sandayu avoided telling Evergreen of his accomplishment in creating his own realm. It was still quite small and insignificant compared to his mother's, but it was a start nonetheless. His hands fell from his hips and he turned to Kagami, pulling her close to himself with an admiring smile. His mood was quite jubilant compared to his usual manner. He had rid himself of the creature that fouled his clan so direly; it was little concern of his if it reincarnated since its life surely equaled that of those it was responsible for taking. Evergreen had given her acceptance of his apology and even helped him more closely realize the true power he felt slowly waking within himself. Even before that he managed to create everything here; this world and its inhabitants were trophies of his smaller victories. To make it better, he had a woman at his side who embodied everything he believed in and so much more of her own unique qualities. Sandayu lowered his lips to hers and sealed a kiss to start their early celebration. Soon, Kagami's wishes would be realized and the last of his vengeance along with it. At that time, they could finally look to the future with the burdens of their pasts trampled under their shared victory.

__ Kagami's face was still tense even as Sandayu took her hand. All of this waiting was making her ache in lustful frustration and she did not appreciate it. When she stepped into Sandayu's realm she looked around and felt herself calm down in the new environment. Kagami felt more at ease close to the water and enjoyed the sensation of the salted air from the ocean hitting her nostrils as she inhaled. Kagami felt her bare feet touch the hot sand which was even further exhilarating. They were close to a tropical forest filled with creatures like monkeys and toucans as well. She was silently pleased with Sandayu's happiness. The relief he clearly felt from exacting his vengeance against that tailed beast was understandable. She cared little for Isobu's emotions beyond what she deceived him into believing. When Sandayu finally pulled her close and smiled she responded by jumping and wrapping her legs around his waist. Her arms then wrapped around his neck tightly to maintain her balance and add some roughness to her raw affection. Her legs coiled tightly and caused her pelvis to grind into his abdomen. When his head was lowered to kiss her she immediately responded by closing her eyes and smashing her lips into his desperately. She gasped and released the heat of her breath as she deeply kissed him. There was a roughness in her passion as she remembered what he did to Uzushiogakure. "I wanted you the moment you blew that hellhole to s**t. You know I hate waiting, a*****e." The vengeful enchantress spoke to her husband through a gasp of passionate kissing. When she kissed him again she quickly bit down on his lower lip and held it while pulling it back. She bit so roughly that she drew some blood from his lip before finally letting him go and smiling devilishly. She then kissed up his neck before roughly biting his right ear as well. "Make me pay for that. I like you more when you're mad." She wanted him to hurt her and pleasure her roughly. Her submission would not be granted and would have to be forced. She then forced her body weight more onto him and would force him to fall back onto the soft sand as she trailed kisses along his neck down to his collarbone. When they were on the ground Kagami grabbed his right hand and placed it on her throat, practically begging for him to choke and dominate her. She was highly erotic and this was her gift to Sandayu for executing her will on the Whirlpool so perfectly. The seductively depraved woman then weaved her fingers through his hair and pulled his face to her's and deeply kissed him. She sucked up the excess blood from the bite mark in his lip as she did so as she continued laying on top of him. Kagami, in the end, was absolutely elated that Uzushiogakure was destroyed and that only Arashigakure remained and would celebrate with her husband here and now.

Obei continued her round of silence as things unfolded around her. Masato and his family would grow done with visiting the Evergreen and simply warp reality away until they were inside of one of his kamui dimensions. She had been fairly surprised during the first time he had done this so things like this were routine for the girl. The place where they had ended up, however, wasn't one that she would grow fond of. For one, it was more or less a volcano with a few buildings sprinkled across the mountain top and it was steamy. If there was one thing Obei hated, it was overheating herself. Maybe it was that hyoton nature of hers. Sandayu dismissed her as she just stared and let out a huff and watched the trio part ways. Moriko and the other Sandayu clone would bugger off towards the volcano and the happy couple would go elope in their own paradise. With no real other option, Obei would look at the Sandayu clone behind and have an idea on where to go.
Her boots hit the snow covered ground of an icy mountain top. The temperature here was much to her liking, enjoying the isolation away from the others, even if for just a little bit. The oni trudged alone before coming to rest on a rock over viewing the scenic mountainside and sitting down. Her mind wandered to places. The screams of the bijuu, the others of Kogarashi, she began to doubt whether or not this course of action was right. Her cestus bound hands gripped the rock around her while feeling the cold n** at her pale cheeks. Thoughts of home returned to her. Finding her mother like she had done before stumbling across Kagami that fateful day. It had felt like she had only been here for a week or so yet here she was, no closer to fulfilling that goal than she had been when first starting out. Another huff as she gathered snow in her hand and slowly crushed it with her hands and released. Bits of snow dribbled back down onto the ground while her attention shifted back to the scenic view.

__ It seemed that his little tactic against Kagami carried value as they were able to enjoy some shared privacy. He was engulfed in her passion, brought to rise and meet her challenge with his own. He smirked as he lay under her in anticipation for the trailing kisses that followed the momentary bloodshed of her affections. The restrained grunt of pleasure that came from her bite paled in comparison to the easily shifted mood which fueled the firm tone he took to reply, "As you wish." Her guidance of his hand slipped from her control and Sandayu's hand lashed out to catch her throat and roll her off to his left in a single motion. Now, with his wife under him, he tensed his grip with fingers placed in calculated positions to exceed her expectations in her preferences. He pinned her right leg under his own as it was crossed over inward to her gait, along with half of himself to assist in the restraint. Sandayu scoffed as his grip teetered between pleasure and threat while his left hand came to rest over her groin. Power born of both the Deva Path and his mastery of the Gentle Fist was exerted from this hand, finely and perfectly controlled to attack the nervous clusters which promised her indulgent satisfaction given only through the acts yet to come. Sandayu would toy with her as his hands were moved and gestured systematically to bring her ecstasy to the next highest peak and the ones after last. Kagami only received enough reprieve that hope would be taken with his own nearly violent passion demonstrated in the following embrace. The flow of time in his world was as irrelevant as it was in Evergreen's own realm, and that guaranteed that the married couple could celebrate to their hearts', minds' and bodies' full content.
After a short rest in their personal paradise Sandayu approached Kagami and sat beside her in the sand, staring out at the ocean spreading seemingly infinitely before them. "Kagami.." He still tasted her personal triumph on his lips. The blood had clotted, but the lingering metallic taste against the tip of his tongue was savored. "... our victory waits before us. Yet... something is troubling me about the future. Ungghhhhshh..." Sanda gave a frustrated sigh, unsure how to phrase the gut feeling of doubt he kept in regards to his mother's behavior. She probably wouldn't interfere with him, but how was he to know if he wasn't interfering in her own plans for these shinobi nations? "Nevermind. I'm just overthinking things, no doubt." Sandayu reached out toward the ocean and clench it into a fist, "The world will be on a new path when Arashigakure's destruction is also realized." He smirked confidently as if he were staring into the future, his overly powerful dojutsu inactive since their previous activities, then looked to his wife. Kagami continued to impress him and often exceed his expectations. He did sense a dark cloud within her, apart from the shelled welp, but saw no reason to address it. Her personal trials were far from done despite all that she had and would continue to achieve. He'd uphold his vow to assist her to fulfill all of her desires.

When he dismissed his own worries Kagami had a feeling that this matter was about his mother in some way. "It'll be a world of our own making. The future is bright beyond this darkness. Have you ever heard that the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants?" Kagami's joyous smile became a devious smirk as she remembered easily slaying Chie. This idiom felt acutely true to Kagami. They needed to put an end to the tyrannical rule of the village system to allow for free societies to form on their own. "There's no doubt that Arashigakure has prepared their defenses. They must know what happened to Whirlpool and they're a much less foolish nation in comparison." Kagami was not about to underestimate the massive imperial adversary before them just because Uzushiogakure was easily vanquished. "We should consolidate our agents at the Institute before we invade. This will take a full effort from not only the forces you're leading but also from those under my cloak and dagger command." She already had a good idea of the strategy based on Sandayu's stated plans, but there was now a development that she needed to mention now. "Although I was able to fight the majority of Chie's strongest ninjas with ease in Uzu, I think I'll need to avoid the front lines this time." Kagami would allow that change of plans of them fighting on the front lines together to sink in before she gave her explanation. "I'll infiltrate and deal with the kage using the deceptive arts. While I'd love to join you in the fight I'm afraid that I have two of us to think about." Again, another suspenseful pause as Kagami lightly bit her lip and smiled in excitement. She was sitting on this news for some time and the moment felt perfect. "I haven't had my period since we got married. I think I'm pregnant." She announced this with immense excitement. This was a milestone in any marriage and the way she phrased it was eerie in how typical it was compared to their very untypical relationship. This child would be born out of a dark union indeed but some few aspects were undoubtedly normal. She kissed her husband and wrapped her arms tightly around him from her straddling position. Once her kiss ended she gave him a sustained gaze. "If it's a boy and I hope it is because I don't think I could raise a girl who's just like me then he should be named Satoshi in your honor. Satoshi Genburyu..." She tried to state the full name for emphasis before thinking for a few seconds and giving up. "You know the rest." This child would be the heir to this new world they were making and he or she would be here to lead the next generation of the new free world.

__ Kagami became Sandayu's new horizon to gaze upon as she made herself comfortable atop of him again. He processed her philosophy and hopes for their future. Honestly, he had his own ideas for the future which he planned to bring up after everything was finished with the shinobi's nations. "They better have prepared. I only told that fool, Belamos, to make sure it was worth my full effort to claim my vengeance. Still... it's irritating that Uzu's survivors are already trying to pull together a new village that will likely still be governed by shinobi. I feel as though I haven't seen my promise to you all the way through." He voiced he regret in reference to information garnered from the sense he shared with Masato whenever he utilized the Rinnegan. 'At least he's learning to master his powers anyway. It's a shame that he'll never understand their worth if he continues to use them to serve something as fleeting as peace.' Truly, his older brother was an utter disappointment to Sanda, but he held some hope for Moriko. Regardless, they were all family so he could at least somewhat shelf his opinions to aid them if they were ever in danger.
He refocused on Kagami to hear her suggestion to consolidate her Kogarashi agents with his rather expansive military force. He didn't mind Kagami taking the backseat after having center stage in their last assault, but he was curious for her reasoning to take a more covert approach to sneak into the village to take out their leader. Of course, the reason was hidden in her choice of words. Thankfully Sandayu was a sharp-minded young man himself. His expression shifted from his typical serious, focused visage to that of somewhat disbelief. He had no words, but his expression said it all as his gaze shifted down to the location of her womb. "I was so wrapped up in everything else going on that I hadn't even noticed..." He honestly felt somewhat ashamed for only now being brought to realize, but he was far from upset. "Satoshi Genburyuichirousuke..." Sandayu sighed his potential son's name with relief and sat himself up to hold Kagami for several moments. The sounds of the waves washing up and retreating from the shore, the gentle sea breeze nudging the tropical trees and rustling their leaves, and the ambient coos and caws- among other noises from the distant wildlife etched into this moment where he learned that he had something very important to live for in the future. That was when it struck him. He pulled away and grew a serious expression in an instant. "Are you certain that you want to accompany me to Arashigakure? I know you can protect yourself and handle your own battles, but is it worth the risk? I am completely certain that I can guarantee Arashi's downfall on my own." Truly, Sandayu would have no problem commanding the entirety of their forces, and he managed to destroy a whole nation with just one simple attack. He would be putting far more effort into this next assault, so he expected far greater results.
__ Kagami was unsurprised but also irritated to hear that the Whirlpool survivors are trying to start a new village. She had a suspicion that they would be less successful this time around, however. When Konoha and Suna had the UHV war aftermath the two allied nations had the resources to start over on Awashijima relatively quickly and effectively. Joyful tears welled in Kagami's eyes when her husband reacted so sweetly to the news. "It's okay! I didn't have much time to think about it either." She said between profoundly elated gasps and tears. She understood that Sandayu wished he had been more attentive rather than surprised but she offered him a pardon all the same. When Sandayu asked the same question that she had herself for sometime before coming to her own conclusion she stopped to think. It was a more than fair question so she would give it due consideration in her response. "I'm certain. I hate Arashigakure even more than Uzushiogakure. That was the village I was assigned to when Kiri failed and they sent masses of hunter-nin after me over five years to collect Isobu who they felt belonged to them. They made my life a living Hell until I found Kogarashi." There was a resolute firmness in her voice as she expressed her deep hatred of the Storm village and all it represented. It was all fractured pieces between three angry populations tearing each other's eyes out and they assumed that Kagami's service to them was their right. "My primary and most loyal operative on the inside is Naoki Uchiha and she will summon me in the middle of the village with fuuinjutsu. Once I'm inside, I'll find and assassinate the Arashikage. He's a jinchuuriki as well so finding him will be easy. What little I know about this second Arashikage is that he's strange but less militaristic than his predecessors. A diplomatic man with a soft heart. I can use my pregnancy as a shield against his foolish mercy." She carefully planned this infiltration for some time. She would cut off the head of the snake while Sandayu devastates their army, defenses, and strongest forces. "I've no doubt that you can crush them on your own but you need me there more than you realize. There's much more risk to you than me." These were all of the details of her plan. She took a moment to contemplate and suddenly broke the silence with unexpected laughter. "And to think that we started as just a strategic marriage. Now we're going to be parents and I couldn't be more in love with you." Kagami lost her composure again as her eyes softened and welled up again. There was still so much for her to discover about Sandayu and despite their lack of courtship she had never opened her heart up to anyone like this and she did not regret this vulnerability and trust in the slightest.

__ Perhaps Kagami could forgive him for his sour news, but he felt compelled to finish what he started. After Arashigakure was handled he would certainly make his way to the Land of Fire to complete his work. He quietly accepted her benevolence and remained as such until and after she finished answering to his concern for her and their unborn child. "Very well, I understand. I trust you to have a contingency plan if anything goes wrong." He remember Naoki, and had little reason to doubt Kagami's trust in her agent. The information she had was clearly reliable enough for her to use their child as a shield from harm. It didn't exactly sit very well with him, but he wouldn't argue since he could and would uphold his promise to protect her from harm at all costs. 'Risk to me...? Hmmnn...' He hadn't considered his well being much since setting onto this path for vengeance. He was trained to protect himself from attacks and to avoid unnecessary harm to himself. However, lately his mentality was to achieve victory through any means necessary. Sandayu would hold Kagami close as she wept after proclaiming her strengthened feelings of love. "And I love you. You fuel my passion, give me strength, guide my power, and through you I am victorious." He defined her through his clan's precious code. To him, she was perfect so long as she continued to embody everything he believed in. She could do no wrong so long as that was true, and he would continue to give her his all for just as long.
Sandayu adjusted his hold of Kagami as he lifted himself into an upright seated position just before carrying her up as he got to his feet. Still holding her up with one hand Sanda used his other hand to pull his wife closer for another passionate kiss. He'd pull away awhile later and set her down on her feet. "Go, organize your agents. I'll finish preparations here then come get you when it's time." A Yomotsu Hirasaka tore open along a mostly horizontal angle to reveal Kagami's office on the other side. It would serve as a doorway for her to depart through.
__ Kagami returned her husband's kiss with equal ardor before standing up. She faced the portal out of the realm and back to the real world. It was strange, it felt like the only time that she was in paradise was when she was with her love away from the real world. It was almost as if they were hiding their passion for each other from everyone else. She faced her husband once more and responded. "I'll see you soon, my love." Parting was such sweet sorrow indeed but they needed to finish what they started. She stepped through the portal and would soon appear in her office in the Kogarashi Institute.

__ Sandayu nodded to Kagami as he shared sentiment for watching her leave his side. Her presence affirmed his confidence and ability in ways that no others could. It wasn't peace that he felt in her company, but he did always feel passion. Truly, he preferred the latter over the former. Sandayu stepped through another Yomotsu Hirasaka gateway to deliver himself to a vast desert where sands fell and were blown from their plateaus into the deep, winding maze-like craggy networks laying below. The wind howled through the expansive labyrinth and he mentally adjusted himself for the training to master his newfound powers. He had a vision for his bolstered abilities, and would not settle for less than that. Sandayu would internalize the abilities of his dojutsu trifecta, along with everything else he'd learned and mastered thus far. This new level which he stood upon only better set him apart from his past selves. Truly, but attaining this power, he felt confidence in the lack of peerage from foes that awaited him in his mother's realm. For all his might, he knew there was only few necessary uses of it. The bodies of new creations lay in countless numbers, piled and scattered across or below the barren landscape once he had reached a point that he was most comfortable for. "First, I will fulfill my promise to Kagami. Arashi will be brought to nothing. Then I will hunt down those who my foolish brother saved and finish what I started." With a snap of his right hand's index finger and thumb enacted an instantaneous clean up of the carnage he created and restoration of the environment around him. His clones had finished adjusting themselves as well and issuing commands to the various militant forces scattered across his world's entirety. Soon, the invasion would commence and a new chapter in history would be brought forth.
"Eee heehee heeheehee!! Hah ahah hah! Snow!" A young lady's voice echoed throughout the frozen mountaintop not far from Obei's solitude. "Heh! Well... he can't be all bad if he made snow! Right?" Zhi glanced back to Taylor who she'd brought along for their mission. Her father had asked them to deliver a very important message to a very important person. From what she could tell, they were pretty far off their mark, but it wouldn't be hard to track her fellow demigod down thanks to her own abilities. The had time to spare, if nothing else. Zhi eagerly ran down along the mountain until she reached a scenic cliffside view where the large Oni woman lingered by her lonesome. Without a worry or second thought Zhi called out to Obei and waved with utmost friendliness, "Yaaaaaaahooooooooooo!! Hey down there!!!" They were close enough to the top that they didn't have to worry about an avalanche... much. Zhi would skip through the otherwise undisturbed powdered snow toward Obei, trotting to a halt once she was only a short ways away. "Hiya! Sorry for being all... whoohoo and such, but could'ya tell me where I might find a fella named Sandayu Genboyoputossing-something or another?" She really was still pretty bad with names, and this son of Evergreen she'd been sent to find had the most difficult name she'd ever heard. Honestly, she only remembered his first name because his last name was impossible for her to pronounce. It didn't bug her in the least though. "Also, why're you all the way out here all by yourself? Shouldn't a fun thing like snow be enjoyed with your friends or something?" She just kinda bounced from one side's foot and back to the last over and over while she awaited Obei's reply.
The faint echo of another's voice filled Obei with curiosity as her red eyes darted around the barren landscape. Two small specks were dashing around the mountaintops as she stood up from her spot and then seemed to have spotted the oni. In response, Obei waved back and began to slowly walk towards them herself. The cold weather felt nice against her pale body. Maybe the two might react when the woman would kneel down to their height The blue haired one was energetic, bouncing all around as if she was hyped up on something. Obei's eyes followed her around no matter which way she trounced, skipped, or whatever adjective she did. "Look for San-Day-You?" Obei asked, tilted her head to the side. Her second question would probably require an explanation. "Come from San-Day-You. Obei explain."
It took a while but Obei touched upon everything. The destruction of Uzugakure, her role, how she met Kagami and Sandayu. Everything. She even included how she felt about her acts. The many worries she had and doubts for being a part of this. "And that story. Obei come here. Feel bad. Very bad." She crossed her arms and then frowned before eyeing the two in front of her. "What you two do here? Cold for non-Oni. Very cold."

__ Zhi found herself nibbling on a snowball while Obei started talking. At least, she figured the giant lady was named Obei based on the loose context of her words. Zhi was staring almost completely up thanks to her already vastly different stature; although, thankfully she had already squatted down to even everything out. Zhi went through a few more snowball snacks throughout Obei's strange tale of murder, destruction, and regret. No doubt, Zhi was painfully famliiar with the feeling. But thanks to Taylor and her father she'd managed to find new purpose in her life. She couldn't erase the blood on her hands, but she could certainly help to lessen the burden against the greater evils just outside everyone's door. Zhi tossed her last half-munched snowball off the side of the mountain and dusted off her hands, still mostly unfazed by the drastically low temperatures. "Well! That's just super terrible. Obei seems like a good... person. Yeah, that." She paused to clear her throat, "BUT! And I do understand you probably won't understand yet, BUUUUUUUUUT.... think about all the things you'll get to accomplish later. Sure, ya didn't stop your friends from hurting other people. But I can promise you that things'll get better soon... ish. Mhm." Zhi set her hands on her hips and nodded to affirm her energetic, reassuring tone. Zhi knew that she couldn't do anything to influence how things turned out unless her papa explicitly told her to do so. That was... most of the reason she was here in the first place. Shifting gears, Zhi set herself to answer Obei and keep this lovely conversation going before things got really rough. "Wwwwwwwweeeeeeellllllll... like I said before. Lookin' for that Sandayu fella. I have a really, really REEALLLLY important message for him and I gotta tell him myself. Taylor here is here to help me out and keep me company!" Zhi pulled him closer and gave him a playful kiss on the cheek. She smiled at him for a moment before he vanished in a cloud of smoke. Clones were so tricky like that. She then looked back to Obei again, "Soooo...." Her skin was nipping a bit as the hairs became frosty. Other than that, she felt just dandy. "Think ya could take me to him? Pretty please? Oh! Or maybe at least tell me where to find him 'round here? That'd be super duper neat too!" Zhi clapped her hands excitedly at the options she could com up with so far.
Well at least it felt good enough to get that off of her chest. Zhi looked to be somewhat entertained during it all despite constantly munching on snowballs which even the seven foot woman with a horn growing out of her head found very odd. When her story was finished, Obei would huff at Zhi's words. She personally couldn't see how things were were going to improve at the current rate. No doubt the emotions and feelings of her wavering loyalty had been all but known to Sandayu and Kagami at this point. It was probably why she had been sent here. Her new friend's companion was silent but cute. He was like one of those kids playing in the big kid's playground though something told her that he had some amount of power or he'd be anywhere but here. Obei was silent. Could she trust these two with delivering their message? What if it was something far more sinister than what they intended? Her eyes scanned Zhi and Taylor before nodding solemnly.
"Obei take to San-Day-You." The oni woman said. She lowered herself to the snow grounds, offering her wide arms to the two of them. "Obei carry if tired. Strong to carry two. Very strong."

__ Zhi cheered energetically, when Obei said she'd guide them, "Alriiiiiiiiigh!" She threw some snow into the air like confetti then stared at the woman for offering her a ride. 'Oh, well that's new. Finally something different from the other attempts at this!' Trusting her gut, Zhi hopped right on after accepting the offer, "Don't mind if I do!" The clone of Taylor she was keeping company with had already dispersed so it was just the two of them now. While making their way down the mountain Zhi felt inclined to clarify, "I dunno if Sandayu is your friend or anything, but you don't haveta worry about me hurting anyone. I just gotta tell him something reaaaaaally important... or everyone is in big trouble." The last bit she mumbled as softly as possible, making it easily mistaken for the little coughing fit she tried to mask it with. "Oh! And thanks for the pick-me-up! For real though, don't worry too much about what already happened. You'll get more done keeping your eyes and thoughts ahead of you instead." Zhi found herself quoting her father's imparted wisdom from when she was still in a very very dark place and drowning in her own regrets from her actions in Arashigakure not too long ago.
Zhi was keeping her eyes peeled as they made their way down the mountains in search of Sandayu. Her left eye shone golden yellow instead of her usual deep blues for a few moments as she got a little anxious tingle at the base of her neck. "Here it comes..." She was kinda sad that it wasn't the scenario where Sandayu came to them. Dealing with him out in these mountains was waaaay funnier. It was crazy how strong people always seemed to have a weakness for snowballs. Mid step, Obei would find herself walking through a dimensional doorway that opened right in front of her. She would feel a powerful attractive force pull her and Zhi through as well. Next, they would find themselves standing atop of a sandy plateau in the middle of a desert that stretched further than the eye could see in any given direction. The many other nearby plateaus designed the environment into quite the maze at the lower altitudes.
Sandayu would appear from out of nowhere, only mere paces away from the pair with a scowl on his face. He'd finished his training, fully embracing his newfound strength, only to detect an invader in his realm who Obei seemed to whimsically entertain. "State your business here, friend of Masato." He could recognize her chakra signature to be that same tiny girl who helped snap Masato out of Kagami's hypnotism just before causing quite a bit of mayhem at the middle of the village by destroying the Spire and CORE Compound. For that, he did appreciate her, but he didn't trust her at all. Moreover, he was confused about how she got here to his dimension int he first place. 'If she had space-time abilities then why didn't she just use those to save their captured comrades?' No, he was pretty sure he remembered her having a diverse set of skills, based on what he saw through Masato, but nothing like that.
Zhi softly patted Obei on the head as another show of thanks before hopping down to stand on her own two feet again. "Gosh! You're always so dang moody! Lighten up a bit. Aren't you like, all excited to maybe get your revenge and stuff for your clan?" Sandayu's brow furrowed and his body became alight in natural energy. He held his left hand out at Zhi and Obei and gave a final warning, "State your business or I will destroy you where you stand." Zhi feigned compliant fear by throwing her hands up in surrender, "Alright alright! Gosh darn!" She took a deep breath and exhaled before starting to say, "I was told to tell you that you're gonna fail. Soooooo... I was also told to tell you that you should try and do things differently so it isn't a total waste of time and effort in the long run." Zhi smiled, knowing that she was taking the path that led to another fight. Honestly, she really liked sparring with Sandayu. Not that he'd remember any of the times they'd clashed before. He never saw it as sparring though. It was always going for the kill or trying way too hard but never quite making the cut.
One could visibly see Sandayu clenching his teeth as he processed if what was said was either a threat or a warning. "I have no reason to fail. The shinobi have no defense that I can't trample and no way to protect themselves completely from my power. I will win in the end." He had no qualms with fighting multiple battles if necessary. He could rebuild and regroup his forces to maximum strength in a fraction of the time it would take them to raise and train new warriors. Sandayu knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that he had almost ever advantage imaginable. Zhi let him rest on his laurels for a bit longer while she restrained her snickering to the best of her ability. Not long after he finished boasting she just started laughing hysterically, "Hahahaha! He thinks- teeheehehahah! He thinks that-ahahah aaaaaahhh hahahahahahah!!!" She'd pretty much fallen to her knees holding her gut while she cried out of a strong combination of pity and entertainment. "O-oh... look at me!" Zhi moved her arms out to her sides and downwardly waved them around with tense fists as she openly mocked Sandayu, "I'm the son of a god s-so heheh... I just can't lose! Bwahahaahahahahahahah!!" She was truly having a fiesta with this particular go around of their meeting.
However, Sandayu was not enjoying himself even slightly. Even before realizing his divinity he never would have quietly accepted such mockery. The soft glow around his body intensified both in depth of color but also became more erratic, "Enough of this." The palm of his hand opened up to reveal a whirring mechanical chakra cannon which rapidly charged then fired a nearly atomic blast in a somewhat acutely angled wave of continuous destruction. Zhi, Obei, and much of the landscape in front of him would be disintegrated almost immediately on contact. However, Zhi and Obei were now standing behind Sandayu- safe and sound! "Keheheheh... ahhhh... still so darn funny." She picked herself back together and took a moment to dust Obei off. The Oni woman would surely be just as confused as Sandayu appeared to be right now. One moment she was there, but now they were here. 'How did she...?' He thought to himself as his hand returned to normal and he turned to face the women again. Zhi just smiled and stuck out her tongue at him, "Heehee! Surprised? I bet you're over there thinking something cliche like how did she do that, or something like that." He didn't say it out loud this time, so she was pretty sure he was just thinking it instead. It didn't help that his internalized mastery of the Rinnegan, Byakugan and Sharingan gave literally no insight on what she did to avoid his attack. "Wanna keep going? I can literally do this forever." It wasn't exactly speed, that let her accomplish her goal of becoming the fastest to ever live. However, speed was measured by the time spent getting from one place to the next. She was fundamentally satisfied with her abilities all the same. Zhi stepped away from Obei's side and walked right up to Sandayu. "You don't know it, but I'm tellin' ya that we've fought a lot and the closest you've ever come to beating me is almost hitting me... once." Sandayu glared down at the small woman brimming with energy and confidence. Her words were nonsensical as far as he could tell. "You're delusional. This is our first meeting." Sandayu couldn't even blink before he found himself laying on his back in the sand. He stared up at Zhi who was standing over him covering her mouth and giggling, "For you, yeah." Sandayu frowned again, obviously perplexed by her ability. He didn't want to subject himself to it more than necessary, but he'd gotten no clues in all the short time they'd interacted so far. 'Wait. Time?' A cog seemed to click into place in his head as he contrasted the concept to the way she had been talking so familiarly to him this whole time.
A stinging residual pain lingered throughout his body as Sandayu stood up and Zhi asked, "Did'ya figure it out, Son of Evergreen?" By this point she could hear her father scolding her but she knew he did the same cryptic stuff all the time. "And do you really want to still fight even though we have such a super tight schedule to keep to?" Honestly, she was still inviting him to try. She'd heard so much about him and what his role in her own life had been. No, they never met before this recurring event, but he'd done enough to influence her path that she felt he owed her for all the bad and good that happened up till now. In its own way, she owed him too... which was why she was trying to help him instead of doing everyone a favor and sparing the bloodshed. Sandayu dusted himself off, looked at Obei again then back down at Zhi. "Fine. I'll hear you out." He didn't have enough information or patience to deal with her and her strange time manipulation abilities. "Faaannnnntastic!" Zhi clapped her hands and twirled back away from him toward Obei again. She looked to Obei and put her index finger over her lips to suggest she be keeping this next part a secret for sure. Sandayu impatiently interjected, "Spit it out already. I have things to do. I assume the sooner you tell me whatever you need to the sooner you leave too?" Zhi looked back to him and shrugged, "Sure, I guess so." She stretched her hands high above her head, grunting with relief as she unwound a bit from a fight not had this time around.
After lowering her hands again hopped on the balls of her feet to keep herself busy while she spoke, "So yeah! You're gonna lose this fight. One way or another, it's gonna happen. The god of this world, your mother, wills it and sadly there isn't much you can do to resist it on her turf." Sandayu felt his skepticism expand and deepen considerably as this woman pointed fingers at Evergreen for his hypothetical failure. "So what? She gave me this power to replace the parasite and then some just to lose? I'm stronger than I was before." Zhi chuckled and replied, "She gave you that power. Therefore it is her power, not yours. Talk about putting all your eggs in one basket and throwing them down a well." She just shook her head and shrugged, "Now you don't have anything that can threaten her because everything you have is pretty much hers to take back from you." This was the most sense she was making since she arrived. Sandayu had a sinking suspicion of his the ease to appeal to his mother after ridding himself of the bijuu. Whatever her fear of those creatures was, he'd only now realized that he threw away a potentially important ace. "So yeah! You're pretty darn stupid, huh? Heheh!" Sanda clenched his fists and teeth. His aura burst to full strength for a long moment as the nearby plateaus crumbled up into the air before turning to dust that blew away on the wind. "Now now! She has her reasons and it isn't really meant to spite you. Her plans are just more important to her than your revenge schemes." She waved her finger like she were scolding him, still bouncing in place.
Sandayu growled under his breath and everything around the mesa they were on suddenly exploded into dust before his aura finally started to settle down. He took a moment to breathe before asking, "So how do I get what I want?" It was a simple question, and he hoped that her warning him of all this meant she was on his side. However, he wouldn't find such consolation in Zhi, "You don't. Simple as that." She shrugged apathetically then elaborated, "You talked a big game, made big plans, and whatever else. But in the end you just get to fail. Sooner you accept that and move on the better. Besides, you killing all those people is pretty selfish for the reasons you have. Didn't that Belamos fella tell you that your clan probably wouldn't want that anyway? He wasn't really... wrong. You don't actually know what they want, and I know you haven't actually asked them even though you could. You destroying Arashigakure is what you want, and what that Kagami lady wants. Neither of your wants are greater than everyone else's needs. Sucks to suck." Zhi used her rather unique skill to say almost all of that without even taking much of a breath between certain sentences or syllables. Even so, her patronizing was given with a tone of utter certainty and confidence. "Ready for the good news, though?" Sandayu put a hand over his forehead and squeezed periodically to ease the tension headache that was forming. "Whatever, sure." Zhi finally stopped bouncing on her feet and smirked.
After a long dramatic pause she declared, "At least you aren't a complete failure!" That... news was quickly perceived as another poor jest. The ground shook and rumbled more. Zhi, of course, remained unfazed even at the threat of their immediate location being reduced to the same refined destruction as the rest. "Seeeeee!? So dang moody ALL THE DARN TIME!!" If this guy could stop being serious all the time he probably wouldn't be all that bad to hang out with. I mean, he had A LOT of other flaws to work through before he could make any meaningful friendships that weren't with people like Kagami. Zhi just chucked it up to a lost cause and said, "You're going to save this universe. That's why!" She twirled and turned to face Obei. She exclaimed a mostly rhetorical question, "Wouldn't that be crazy!? The guy who destroyed a nation, forced its people to rehome after barely surviving- mostly thanks to his own brother's betrayal, and proceeded to bring even more problems to the target of his thoughtless rage gets to become the hero nobody knew they needed!" She quickly turned back to Sanda for his own reaction. Sandayu just kept on frowning before answering, "Not interested. If everything you said is true then I have no reason to help anyone in my mother's universe." Zhi hummed with emphatic curiosity, "HMMMMMMmmmmnnnn!? No one? Not a single one? Not your wife? Not your unborn son? Not your brothers or your sister? C'mon! I know family is super important to you despite how heartless and cruel you pretend to be." Zhi winked as she finished calling his bluff.
Sandayu folded his arms over his chest and dismissed his aura entirely. The quakes subsided just before he rolled his eyes and asked, "God you're annoying. Just say whatever you've got to say already." Zhi cleared her throat and corrected him, "Gods, is a more proper way to say that. Anyway!" She cleared her throat with another cheer, "So. What exactly do you know about Gods?" She swore that it was all relevant, and technically she knew what he knew... but he needed to know he knew what he knew or else things wouldn't work out anyway. Sanda just sighed heavily and played along some more. "Not much, I guess. Evergreen, my mother, is the goddess of creation or something like that. I haven't gotten a firm grasp of what exactly she can do. Then there's Belamos' father, Utu, who he said was the Sun God. I've heard of other religions but really never cared enough to look into them. Faith is too fickle." Zhi gave a small shrug and nodded a bit. She honestly felt the same for most of her life too. "Well, you're gonna learn today!" She gave him a thumbs up then said, "The main players in the game right now are your mother, Evergreen, Utu who is known as the God of Power and the Original Light- whatever that is. Then there's my papa, Zelel. Lastly, is Jashin... the God of Destruction." Tired of telling this tale so many times to the same people, Zhi abridged it to speed things up. "Your mom needed help 'cause Jashin is... well... destroying everything. Utu and Zelel agreed to help, but it's been really difficult. Now the Gods aren't really working together all that well, so... they need help too. My papa told me that you have potential to go from being a piece on the board to a new player for the whole game, if that makes sense." She sighed, finishing saying that in pretty much one breath again.
Sandayu was certain there was a massive amount of critical information not being shared from that summary, but he wouldn't sweat the little details even if there was an uncertain number of them. "Evergreen already made me a god. Shouldn't I be considered a player already?" Zhi just laughed again for a few seconds. "Ahh... you say the darndest things, y'know that? Heh... but yeah. Remember, I told you that all your power is pretty much just your mom's handmedowns. Not much of it either, but that's to be expected considering how weak she herself is right now. That's why she's so desperate to regain her strength that she'd lie and manipulate us mortals to get what she needs to save everything." Zhi set her hands on her hips and sighed, "But... she's not doing it right. What she's doing is just going to make it easier for Jashin to win because she isn't helping the other gods to help her. It's like she gave up on their help and is just trying to do it all herself anyway, like that worked out any better before she got help." She brought her right index finger to her chin as she appeared to be pondering her thoughts aloud, "Honestly, I heard that Utu is probably annoyed with her being so ungrateful. Papa doesn't really seem to mind much, but he does still want to help beat Jashin too." Even she could tell how screwed up everything was and that it was somewhat a miracle that Jashin hadn't already finished off this last bit of resistance.
Honestly, Sandayu was surprised that the gods were having political hangups like that. His expression softened a little as curiosity set in. "I'm still waiting for you to get to the damn point. What exactly are you trying to tell me?" Zhi snapped back to attention and shouted, "Oh right! So yeah! Your mom wants you to lose this upcoming fight with Arashi. My papa agrees that it is for the best, but he knows you're just going to do what you want anyway. So, here's the deal! You try and get your revenge anyway. When you lose, because you're a dummy, my papa is going to finish preparations to help you truly ascend. Then you can turn this place into our own universe as a new god! Pretty nifty, eh? EH!?" Zhi appeared next to Sandayu, nudging him as she made those last couple suggestive noises. Then Zhi appeared on Obei's shoulders and added, "Then all you have to do is hang out here and get stronger while doing your best to prepare to fight Jashin when the time comes. In the meantime, all the rest of us mortals will be back there buying as much time as we can." Zhi looked down at the Oni woman while poking the tip of her horn. "Doesn't that sound wild, Obei?" Lord knew how much of this conversation actually sunk in with the somewhat primative non demigod. Zhi had no qualms with letting Obei witness all this, though. Either Obei used the information to help save everyone or she might just be called crazy for talking about it. This world was always so focused on it's smaller problems that big ones that hadn't shown themselves were simply harder to swallow.
Sandayu remained quiet for awhle as he considered Zhi's proposal for several minutes. "So. Let me get this straight. You want me to proceed with my plans anyway, but if-" Zhi interjected by correcting him, No. WHEN you lose. Seriously, what part of time travel don't you get? I already know what's gonna happen. Sheesh!" The young woman groaned out of feigned annoyance before Sanda continued, "Semantics. Anyway, after the battle this Zelel person is going to help me become an actual god? All I have to do is come back to help out later on?" Zhi gave a round of applause, now standing back to back with Sandayu rather than still on Obei's shoulders. "Look at that! You're getting it, and that makes you way better than all the other yous I've had this silly conversation with. Neat-o! Oh, don't forget the part where you literally won't be able to come back here until it's time to. Better say your goodbyes and stuff, but don't say too much or else things will get really wierd down the road!" Zhi pushed off from Sandayu's back and turned to face him again. He too turned around to look at her, letting the realization that his isolation was assured, save for his own creations which gave little solace on the topic. He had no better options and as much as he just wanted to call everything said so far a mere hypothetical issue, there was a strong tugging deep within that suggested he invest in this endeavor. Some of it was dejavu, and the rest felt more like a call to his destiny. He lowered his head and closed his eyes. "Very well. I'll go with your plan." The idea of missing his firstborn's life troubled him greatly. He didn't know how long he had for these preparations or even how long he'd need. For all he knew, Kagami and his child could live their lives however many times over before he returned there. Likewise, his own siblings were going to be left to fend for thierselves- for better or worse.
Zhi just gave Sandayu another round of applause and cheered, "Yippeeeeee! That helps our chances a whooooooooole lot. Like... for realsies!" When she finished she gave him two thumbs up with an intentionally silly smile before saying, "Well cool. Guess my job is done here. See you around, Obei-chan. Good luck to you, Sanda-kun!" Before either could say anything to her she just vanished entirely. Sandayu raised his gaze to the desert's evening sky and he sighed a heavy-hearted sigh. "This changes everything. Haaa..." He looked to Obei for several somber seconds before asking plainly, "I've no time for you to decide how you feel about everything with these stakes. If you want to continue to support Kagami then do so. Otherwise, it's best you simply leave now." Sandayu would open a portal for Obei to leave wherever she wanted to go in the other world if she chose to abandon Kogarashi. However, if she chose to remain loyal then she'd be led out to the Kogarashi Institute to help Kagami with any final preparations. Once she was gone, Sandayu too would go to finish his own work.
