His trajectory had been variant to her own after the barrel roll had veered soaring sparrow far to the right. Thusly finished path is angled diagonally towards the right corner; far enough away from the dreaded vacuum of temporary purgatory without much effort.
Not that it mattered much in the end; when the differences in advancement are tallied and weighed. With an overall advantage in speed and just slightly better aerial handling, she'd naturally land before him; though their difference in times was no more than two seconds apart. However, as the famous sayings go; it doesn't matter if you lose by an inch or a mile. If you're not first, you're last.
It was always a bittersweet moment, but naturally he'd take it in stride. What was the point in being sore over a defeat, anyways? In competition like this is where one learns the most, and he'd certainly gleaned plenty within such a short amount of time.
Though Kain arrives only moments after, sweet time was taken in listing around the empty air and finally touching down upon the shattered and cracked surface; a butterfly light landing next to the breach. Silent almost, when compared to the meteorite that had struck moments ago. Where they stand up on high, one could practically taste the clean and crisp difference in the air. It is savored in one lung powered drag, and then another at length.
"Congrats. Ya beat me fair and square. Now I should... probably make good on this bet, huh? Sooo, waddaya want?"
He certainly wasn't of djinn descent, and had no intentions on breaking his back or jumping through extensive hoops over their agreement. Provided the demands proffered proved reasonable however, playing ball shouldn't prove much of an issue.
A dangerous one she was but there was something absolutely thrilling about it. Crazy by every definition of the word, her iron grip tightening around his throat. The blonde released her ankle and instead set both hands at the woman's wrists, he'd try prying them apart with his arguably superior strength; at least enough to prevent the crazy rabbit from strangling him."Stubborn b***h! You're American too!"He spat bitterly amidst their power struggle; referring to her dark skin and overall appearance. Hadn't she been trying to kill him Soap would've probably enjoyed this in a different manner. Try is he must to shake her loose his efforts were futile as her vice grip her weighty thighs had around his waist hadn't been something he could render himself off.
A shut eye, deep indentations of ripple muscle coursed along his arms, a coy smirk stretching his lips; Soap was having fun. Seldom had he encountered a criminal that could give him a run for his money in terms of both physical strength and flexible endurance. However, Soap was armed with a weapon that she didn't have access to.
His bucking bronco act ceased but he still kept his hands clamped at her wrists in an attempt to pry her completely off of him. Unbeknownst to the combative bunny however, was that his rooted revving engines had been gathering the moisture from the air but to the naked eye it'd just appear that Soap had stalled in place. The tires slicked, the air trapped as a result became compressed before inflating the under layers of moisture. An massive array of bubbles vomited from the rear of air treks; catching the air as they'd float and hover. Larger than some children's toy, from a fist to a basketball in size range the transparently chromatic sphere would assault the rabbit in a full salvo of bursts and blasts. They were often slow crawling things but given their direct range travel time was nearly nonexistent. They'd pack a punch, that compressed air releasing once popped and could cause a harsh laceration upon bursting contact.
Breath taking, it felt different almost. Like it was a lesser form of flying through the air. But to her it felt right, she felt at home.
She rested hearing the second pair of treks land behind her. She thrust her hands into the skin tight suit, in the portions that flexed from her arms to her waist had loose space, within a hidden pocket where she pulled out a wallet. She unfolded it and pulled out twenty thousand yen. She looked to the guy, holding out the money and glaring. Harshly. All fire and brimstone so to speak. Even then, the air was still warm, and she wanted to experience that.
Feel that More.
Warm air, it was a pleasant change from being cold all the time.
"Here, before I change my ******** mind."
Imagine, her needing something from a poor guy, what kind of low life did he think she was??

El disliked the fact this man was trying so hard to struggle in her grip, why couldn't he lie down like a good American dog? She'd snort as he stated she was American, she wouldn't confirm or deny his inference as it meant little to her what he thought she was. When he ceased to struggle and stood still while gripping her wrists she knew something was coming again, the ******** was going to use something, fine. Suddenly legs unlatched from around him as her weight dropped down while she used his grip and her own to slam her heels in the backs of his knees and send him to the floor, "Tch." she growled as she would brace herself were her interruption to work before he managed to produce all those bubbles ( that she is unaware of by the way ). Her arm would remain tensed and strong on his neck as she hadn't relinquished her grip on him fully intending to pull him down with her were he not to retaliate.

Soap wasn't one to skip leg day, power and balance were two ideals he admired the most. His knees creaked from the pressure but wouldn't fully give out as they fought back against the rabbit trying to force him down. She was feisty, if not down right psychotic. A transformed ball of rage and yet she moved with purpose as opposed to swinging for the fences. The perturbed man came to realize that he'd been dealing with a fighter that seemed to specialize in grappling. His best bet was to try and make space between them but with her on top of him like this it was proving to be difficult.
Her focus was his legs but her grip remained strong. The attempt however, hadn't stopped him from executing his attack. He'd fall to his knees, the bronzed grappler still clinging to his back, however, it'd been a plot to let her believe she was in a power position. In actuality, the grip he had on her wrists tightened, preventing her escape as he'd wear her like a shell to a tortoise as the aforementioned bubbles would pelt her from all angles; having been given enough time to float and surround her. Every one from the dozens enough carried powerful acerbic force to lacerate the body; Soap was trapping them both in this dome.
Knifing her heels into the joints of his knees had worked...not completely how she wanted as he fell forward and hunched effectively dropping all her weight into his knees as well. Red eyes widened when the first bubble burst and she'd feel a shock of pain roll through her, a feral growl escaped the woman as she would lean in and sink her teeth into the nape of his partially exposed neck. The arm she had around his neck was still seized by him as well as her free hand had been holding her wrist thus creating his inability to pry her loose easily. The small space left at the right of his neck was prime to be dug into with teeth and she didn't relent as she fully intended on drawing blood, then with extreme ability after the onslaught of pain that had assaulted her from the bubbles she'd shove off from his knees as a platform and flip her body allowing him to hold her in place while still squeezing and finally releasing his neck from her teeth. Using her body weight and her momentum she'd most likely pull the man off the ground and attempt to slam him onto his back and herself onto her belly with little remorse, she was clearly built to take a beating.

Searing pain rolled through his body, his neck the focal point. The light but harsh grind of tearing of his skin from that strong jaw forced an angry grunt from his lips. Slivers of blood cascading along his collar but nothing life threatening. As much fun as this was Soap was growing irritated by her antics, but say his chance when her chompers pulled themselves from his neck and her weight shifted from him. During her frontward leap Soap used his superior strength to finally pry himself free from her grasp; snatching away the hand that held onto her own wrist while prying the other arm away as well. So she'd end up airborne away from him empty handed.
Soap came to a stand, steadying his breath through a bitter scowl and a glow in his eyes as he yanked the headband from around his forehead. Bold and a bit bloodied the blonde hadn't flagged at all despite a few minor battle scars. The plethora of bubbles still littered the area, closing in around the rabbit even while airborne, making a clean landing complicated for her. Rapidly revving but stationary treks birthing numerous more as soon, the entire roof would become his own personal bubble bath.
El flew high into the air as he had released her completely, red eyes sparked with amusement as he had relinquished her so easily, he was foolish. A wide smile pulled across her face as she would witness the field of bubbles he made and....she rotated her weight so that she flung herself even further away landing on the opposite roof as the male let out some boisterous howl which had the woman crossing her arms over her ample chest, "Stupid. American." she stated simply before turning and literally tearing off across the opposite roof and away. Had he forgotten? He had grabbed her first and prevented escape before, which was the reason El had appeared in the first place. Digging into the ground for traction she was soon jumping and leaping with more ease then before practiced and fine movements were obvious in the woman's step as she intended to get herself to safety.

Up and over. On the bright side he managed to shake the crazed rabbit off of him. The bad news was that they were right back at square one.
There was something off about this woman however, Soap wasn't a licensed psychologist but being a detective meant that he was quick on the uptake when it came to reading people. A lack of information beforehand made his task difficult but gathering it was his specialty, improvisation be damned. She was angsty now, more aggressive, more hostile. She'd gone from gullible to abrasive and cautious in the matter of moments and while he wasn't certain of the trigger that'd caused it, he could now rule out that there weren't any drugs involved. This one was a natural basket case.
It was tricky dealing with individuals who weren't all there in the head, even trickier if you didn't watch your words around them. However, in this particular instance, Soap was much too curious to let her leave but too impatient to continue this game of cat and mouse. At the very least the woman before him seemed more sensible, but he wondered how flighty she was."Heh? Running away again? Wouldn't take a hero of justice to be such a coward. Or maybe it's because you're afraid of me? It's a shame, you're really strong too."Soap taunted arrogantly, trying to find that nerve, that switch inside of her; at the very least he'd try to probe her for the sake of gaining insight. The blonde continued rolling forwards; he'd continue to chase if she ran. The bubbles harmlessly popping along the air as he'd get rid of his defenses in hopes of goading her closer.
Pain launched through her body at all the bubbles that managed to touch her in the air, but her body was strong and durable making it easy for her to take the beating itself. Nothing compared to what had been done to her before, the male was not pleased by her escape what so ever as he called and yelled at her trying to taunt and goad her. Rolling her eyes as she landed on the next building putting two roofs between them before turning and flipping him off before proceeding to turn bend and jump away again with no issues. El was not Usa, not easily taunted by others though she found the blond to be extensively irritating, without her knowledge ti'll her next jump and landing her...well her leotard had been messed up a bit by the prior bubble explosions and proceeded to start exposing parts of her skin in provocative area's. Clicking her tongue in distaste as she would slip down into the crowd and proceed to cause hundreds of screams as she ripped off the Hawaiian shirt of a large man and pull it around herself to keep her body covered.

Predacious eyes watched the woman flip him the bird before hightailing it from the rooftops. She was more sensible than she appeared, his ploy having not worked on her but at least he knew now what didn't work. Unfortunately for her, while she believed that she was getting away, Soap now had set his focused sights on a new target. Fresh and new, intriguingly insane, undoubtedly durable, and incidentally naked; his assault caused not as much damage as he would've hoped but the view was definitely nice.
Pulling the splint of wood hunkered an inch into his chest he'd fling it lazily over his shoulder, unperturbed. The faint sting wouldn't disturb him now that his mission started. His left cheek rose as a crooked grin curved over his lips. Plot unraveling in his mind, a multitude of paths lay before him, this was a very timid situation and didn't appear to be a scenario that he could solve with just his fists.
Knotting off his headband around the wound over his throat he'd hop from the rooftops to give silent chase, keeping a low profile to observe the rabbit's behavior once she was back out in the wild.
El pulled the shirt over her body buttoning it up as she walked into the crowd, having nothing but her thigh-highs and the...she ripped off the ears that Usa had an insistence on wearing and tossed them with ease wanting to blend into the crowd a bit better though at the beginning those who witnessed the violent scene were definitely moving to avoid her. When she moved to the outer edges as she kept a lower profile she would begin to glance around for a decent way to leave. The white crosses in her eyes were complimented on by a few who noticed and began to ask where she got the contacts from, she ignored them and continued on weaving through the crowd with ease almost as if she were familiar with the whole ordeal. Spotting a store with numerous people moving in and out of it she would duck in with some men who were jostling each other and end up in an accessory shop, glancing around fervently for the back door she'd spot it behind the counter. Slipping over the object with ease she would be noticed briefly by an employee who was speechless at the sight of her ducking out, the immediate response for said employee was to call out 'thief' though she took nothing. Grunting in exasperation as she would pull the door closed behind her and slip out into an alleyway taking off at full speed with no intention of slowing down ti'll she would most likely hit a dead end.

Events take a surprising twist, and their deal comes to conclusion most unexpected. A change of heart? What had prompted such a hundred and eighty turn around?
Well, i'd imagine it wasn't my stellar personality. He muses to himself.
Finely shaped brows rise in tandem, though he takes the money after recovering from initial shock. No wires or tricks attached, suspicions are dashed and countenance perks up considerably. Despite abrasive tone and caustic glare, he's admittedly placated and grateful. It may have been a struggle to reach this point, but in the end the journey was just as rewarding as it's destination.
"Ya know, you're pretty good. I know I had fun. Keep it up, maybe we can do it again sometime."
Casual salute tipped off as his back turns, grasp filled with cash stuffs itself inside of centralized cotton sweater confines. Manners are remembered at the last second, just before preparing for take off. What kind of ingrate didn't show gratitude when it was due, after all?
"Oh, and thanks. For... this. It's even sweeter since I wasn't expecting it."
Final words of farewell tossed over a shoulder before he takes a step over the side; listing lazily through the air. Steadily dropping altitude, legs subconciously pedaling as if he were set upon a lazy stroll. The movement was pointless, but it was a comfortable force of habit he'd gotten into.
Without missing a beat, this langorous stride is what keeps him moving even after placing rimmed discs 'pon pavement once more. There was still time for a little more excitement to be found in a fledgeling night still so young, should he look hard enough and find it.
Just where was she hiding? Like a hound with a sent, the ambitious blonde had been hot on her tracks. Try as she did there was no hiding that wolf amongst the sheep, a body like that stuck out like a sore thumb. Her curves were etched deep within his memory banks, photographic memory could probably even guess her measurements correctly. All of this over a single piece of stolen food, had the woman just apologized for her actions he would've just gone on about his day.
Soap gave a deep inhalation of breath as his air treks pulsed once, twice, then thrice with vibrations that rolled through the surface and across people and constructs alike. He'd unearth all with his seismic sonar, outlining the world within his visage with resonating pulses that rolled over his eyes like a fine radar; no technological visor needed.
That escaping figure, spry movements carrying her hurried heart into an accessory shop that he'd soon follow. He'd enter as she was pinged going out the back door. The blonde hastened his pace, following her fresh carbon footprints out the door that led out into a back alley. He'd blow a sigh through his lips from the cliche scenario as he'd track her until she'd actually hit that dead end. A couple dozen feet separated them as he'd come to a halt.
"Listen, I'm not gonna hurt you. All I wanted was a damn apology, I don't like having s**t stolen from me is all. If you wanted something to eat I'd be more than happy to treat a pretty woman like you to lunch. Honestly."
He'd try speaking some sense into her, get her out of that fight or flight mindset. While his words seemed sincere the way he spoke Japanese was far more fluent and fluid than the bumbling tone he carried before; had that too been a part of the act? He'd place his hands up, palms forward in a disarming manner to show he meant no ill-intent.
"How about I go first? I apologize for attacking you, I overreacted but I assure that I am no villain. You're really strong though. I'm surprised you only came out of that with ripped clothes, but fighting us isn't going to get us anywhere since we can't really hurt each other. So how about we bury the hatchet for now and we go get you some clothes that actually fit you, huh? Can't exactly roam around in someone else's sweaty clothes. You'll get a rash."
A faint smile grazed his lips, a chuckle flowing out immediately after as his deep hues stayed fascinated on her person. He'd remove his jacket, extending it as a peace offering. It was large but not overly so unlike the giant-esque shirt she'd stolen from some poor fat man."I can keep this up all day y'know? I literally have nothing better to do."He added haughtily.
El glanced about as she easily marked her path out of the dead end, legs tensed as she prepared to jump only to suddenly snap her head back around to stare at the blond before her, he was really pursuing her through all this? How aggravating. Blood rubies became slivers between caramel lids as she took an aggressive posture, teeth bared like a rabid animal in a deep scowl as he would try to appeal to her of his 'not wanting to hurt' as well as his explanation over his dog like behavior, "I don't need sympathy from an American Dog." she hissed as she crouched arms on either side of her knees as she looked ready for an extremely powerful leap. She had already taken notice of his lack of previous broken Japanese as well as the fact he was better on AT's then expected, she wasn't foolish like her other half.
Had she had real rabbit ears or any form of other obvious signs of aggression it would be clear the woman had no trust for this male what so ever, Usamimi was a child, but Taguel was not the one to let her guard down. She only came out when she sensed imminent danger or when she felt Usa was doing something she wouldn't be able to get out of by herself. The other liked to pretend that El didn't even exist, which she was fine with...the buzzing thoughts of the other could get grating on her nerves. Even with the man's show of submission the woman clearly didn't buy it, not even a twitch of relaxation no movement to expose any form of submission as she continued to glare at the other. The man went on to apologize and attempt she was assuming, to flatter her with words that she gave no cares about, he attacked the dumb rabbit and now the vicious one came out.
The smile set alarm bells off in her head, she didn't like this man, not at all. It would be a long few minutes after his proposition as the woman continued to glare, going over her options as her legs flexed with seeming intent, long blond hair covered her body as she would slowly....very slowly rise to stand while glaring at him, "What the ******** do you want? I refuse to believe this is out of some pit of generosity you have. A scheming idiot like you has something they want in exchange for kindness. What is your goal?" she growled keeping her distance as she gave him a distrusting glare, "I am not affording you any friendship or trust what so ever you foreigner. If that is your hope you can shove that right up your a** and limp around with it." she sneered her face a twist of rage and hate at the other.
