The guards at the gate seemed to pay the entire thing little mind as it seemed like a rather routine shipment, and Keiji was rather well known. So with a few welcome exchanges and smiles between the Revolutionary Samurai and Guards, the cargo moved unimpeded.

The tall man, Zeus found himself finally at his destination after some direction from the weird girls he met in the forest he had fallen out of the sky into. However much to his surprise, he could hear a familiar sound. Actually, now that he looked at it...he could see a familiar flame. "Huh, but I don't think that'd be her." He said aloud, albeit to himself. Shaking his head though as he looked at the gates of the village. "Mortals and their civil wars though." As if disappointed with coming here now. He sighed, scratching the back of his head with his large hands as he stood there trying to think about what exactly he would do now. "This makes things a little bit more difficult. How do I go about this?" He questioned aloud again, albeit to himself. Navigating through a civil war to find a single person who he had been told resided here or around here or something like that would be tough. It wasn't something Zeus felt fond of having to do in general. The large man stood there, staring at the gates as he pondered his next course of action. Of course he had time to do such, it wasn't like he was in any sort of rush. Although attaining the powers he once held before would be a difficult task indeed....he was immortal as far as he knew anyways. He had plenty of time to do it.
The sound of Seikaβs feet racing towards the gate could be heard from afar, the samurai having received word of what had transpired at Zaishin by her familyβs owl. The sight that laid before her was enough to cause the Seiryuu to fall onto her knees. The village that her people had worked so hard to rebuild after everything was lying in ruin. Buildings crumbled in ruin as fires surrounded the perimeter of the village. Little was known about exactly what had happened or who was attacking, but it mattered very little in Seikaβs eyes. All she desired was finding the one responsible and bringing them to justice for attacking her homeland. "Whoβs responsible for this?!" she said aloud to herself and Musica, if she was within range. The other woman could tell her fellow Arashi police force was now a mess of emotions. Her petite, soft hands balled in a silent fury, shaking violently as she grit her teeth at the Shogunate Palace.
The castle was a milestone of chaos. Waters crashed against the sides of the buildings, spilling into the streets far away. Fires erupted from the building, torching the interiors. Miasma leaked from the holes torn into the foundation of the building, while thunder crashed on the exterior of the building. Seika squinted her eyes at a silhouette standing atop the Shogunβs Castle. Her eyes narrowed, turning to Musica with anger in her heart. "Iβve got to get up to the Iron Castle. Whoever's up there is the one thatβs causing all of this, I know it!" she said, her voice nearly wavering with sheer fury.

"Haha, yeah totally!β Musica hadnβt exactly made out what Seika had said. She just stood there with a stupid grin on her face while her mind caught up. It wasnβt until the samurai had bolted out from the room that the white haired shinobi realized something was up. βHey Seika-hey wait up!β She called out, chasing after her.
That had been before the sudden pilgrimage to Zaishin. They had left in such a rush that Musica was still walking around sans an arm. Sheβd given the mechanics a general idea of where she would be, but not being familiar with Zaishin made it hard to be specific. Not that it would matter too much anyway. Seika led the charge of the two of them into the city, and the police chief caught a whiff of something familiar: combat, pure and simple. Musica seemed unbothered by it, focused despite the cacophony of noise, until the flames started to rise. It was a quick explosion, a sudden burst of fire from off to the side, but it was enough to force Musica to a halt. Her blood ran cold and she couldnβt take her eyes from the embers. Musica wasnβt fond of fire, and the sight of it was enough for her to temporarily forget their mission. She shook her head as the fires died down, reminding herself that she had a job to do.
Once Musica recollected herself, she caught up to Seikaβs side. The girl shifted her gaze up to where the samurai had been looking, but saw nothing. Still, Seikaβs fury was as real as anything else, so Musica trusted her about someone being up there. βSlow down, Seika.β Musica placed her good hand on her friendβs shoulder, for reassurance and maybe to hold her back. Even though Musica knew that, if Seika wanted to, she could easily rip the white haired womanβs arm clean off. βOkay so we fight to the top, easy-breasy. But what about casualties? Or do you just wanna cut your way up, like, a bajillion floors?β Musica locked eyes with Seika. She wanted to talk a little sense into her friend. But the way that the shinobiβs eyes lit up would convey one thing: whatever Seika did, Musica would go along with. Simple as.

Seika was hysterical at the sight of her home in flames, even from the front entrance. She was breathing heavily, knuckles a pure white color out of sheer anger. The normally stoic woman was showing emotion so very clear for the first with Musica, feeling the weight of the police captain's hand on her shoulder. She quickly spun back around to face the woman with a look of anger, quickly switching to uncertainty. It was as if the gravity of the situation had settled in as all of that rage had suddenly been vented. For as much as she talked, this was her very first time with a full scale village wide siege. "I don'tβ¦The peopleβ¦I'm supposed to protect the village butβ¦I dont know what to doβ¦" The girl paced, grabbing her head while looking back to the city in despair around them. Seika, whether with help or guidance from her friend, would begin a breathing stance as she inhaled to calm herself down. The scent of burning timber and fresh blood made such a task difficult, but Seika would manage to eventually stop panicking. "Rain, rain, falling from the sky. My mother will come to me with her umbrella. Splish, splash, splish, splashβ¦" The samurai mumbled to herself, slowing her breathing down as she'd close her eyes to the carnage around them. Easier said than done, but what was a samurai if a lifetime of dedication?
After calming herself, Seika would exhale and open her eyes again at Musica. "My apologies, Musica. I feel better now. We should lend assistance to any civilians around the area and check for survivors. Iβ¦want to check on my family, but they can wait. They'll make it through this. I know it." The woman's hand came to rest on the tip of her empty sheaths, ready to activate reiken at a moment's notice. She was still clearly affected by what was occurring, that much was obvious in her eyes full of rage and worry. "I will take up point ahead. Follow behind me and be prepared. These enemies may not be so obvious to tell from civilians. We should probably find a safe place to keep them once we've established a safe zone. We'll leave when you're ready."

Seikaβs mumbled words caught the attention of Musica, but she didnβt say anything more about them. It was good to see the girl calming down, even a little. βIβm sure your family will be okay, if theyβre half as strong as you are, Seika.β The young woman gave the samurai an encouraging smile before removing her hand. Musica did her best not to show it, but her body was still in quite a bit of pain from what happened in Arashi. The two had traveled so quickly, she hadnβt gotten time to rest properly. Musicaβs only concern was whether or not sheβd be able to keep up with Seika, or if sheβd just drag her down. Still, she came here to help her friend. So she shook the doubts from her mind. βIt doesnβt matter who they are! Weβll knock βem down and knock βem down!β Musica pumped her fist energetically while she tried to bolster Seikaβs spirits.
Musicaβs own eyes glowed like miniature storms as the two of them got ready to advance. A confident smirk played on her lips as Seika. βLeave that to me, Iβll work on a safe zone as we go.β The air immediately around the police chief dropped in temperature by degrees as she readied herself. βI gotchur back, Seika. Wherever youβre gonna go, Iβll follow. Letβs move!β

"The stench of disgrace on you is as thick as always, Seiichi." A voice would call out from the gates. Walking towards the two women a robust figure. One that seemed to be eyeing Seika as he walked towards them. To Seika, he could be recognized as her uncle. Stopping for a moment before the man would click his tongue then look away. "We'll talk of your abandonment of Zaishin and..." The man paused for a moment, motioning towards Seika in general. "....this mess later. For now, go help your fellow nobles against the rebellion. Understood, boy." Although the man clearly phrased it as a question the tone of voice he used and his attitude towards Seika made it clear that it was more like an order to her instead. One which he was still expecting yes to. Walking back into the gates and into the gates ready to fight as well. Mumbling...well more like speaking his thoughts out loud as he walked. "Filthy rats that think they can stand up to and question nobles."
Musica looked at the man, her eyes going wide with confusion. She even mouthed back the sentence heβd spoken about disgrace, her brain still trying to catch up to the sudden change in gears. βWhoβs this guy?β She whispered to Seika, covering her mouth with her good hand as she leaned in. But she didnβt wait for a response before turning back to the man. βHey who are you supposed to be, even?β She called out. And he must be confused. Who the hell was-ohβ¦. Musica glanced back to her friend as her own thoughts finally caught up. The white haired girl took a few steps forward, to place herself between Seika and the old man instinctively. βOh, Iβm sorry. You must be mistaken.β A smile crept upon Musicaβs face, but the police chief was never good at hiding her emotions. It couldnβt be more obvious that it was a fake smile, covering up her irritation that she was beginning to feel at this old manβs attitude. βWhich is fine, you mustβve forgotten your glasses, old man. Seika raced all the way from Arashi to help you, and you canβt even be bothered with a simple hello?β
Musica could feel her irritation begin to boil over, a vein popping in her temple as she looked at this man. Her smile quickly faded to a scowl. She couldn't hide it much longer. She could feel her clenched fist begin to shake and she did her best to hide it behind her jacket without making even more of a scene. Staring at this man before her, Musicaβs memory flashed back to the conversation she held with Seika way back when. How the samurai had expressed uncertainty with her life choices. And now, standing here, it was all too clear why she felt that way. βAnd just who the hell do you think you are, anyway?β She growled, her eyes lighting up with the power of a storm.

Seika was just about to run forward when another voice from nearby would cause her entire being to freeze. That same tone being used again and again when she was...somebody else. Her head craned over to see a silver haired older male who informed her of the stench of disappointment that followed her wherever she went. In an instant, all that fury and emotion drained out of Seika, turning the girl into a fumbling mess of a person that she had been known as well before leaving Zaishin. "U-Uncle!" she flummoxed, standing at attention to him while clearly feeling the proverbial lash of his words against her. Every sentence was a blade through her heart, bringing the samurai down to unimaginable levels. Musica whispered, asking who the man was while Seika wouldn't have her eyes leave him. Though the police chief could still make out the sheer terror that Seika was experiencing. "That is my uncle, one of my few remaining direct families. I stayed with him and my other family since my parents were slain long ago." she whispered in response to the white haired woman beside her. Her uncle would walk closer with that same expression of discontent on his face.
"It is, uh, n-nice to see you are well. I was worried-" her point was cut off mid way as Seiitaigen infirmed her of a future discussion after the current situation was resolved. It would eventually round back around to the one topic Seika was dreading, but it would have to come some day, even if she were to run from it. Her eyyes drifted to Musica while she would bet between them, looking all but too upset at what was occurring right in front of her. The samurai had wanted this to be more formal than before, but not even an hour back and she was beginning to recall why exactly she was not looking forward to return in the first place. The other girl's hand was shaking as Seika reached to move out in front of her to not start a fight with her uncle. With Musica's arm behind her, Seika would reach to cover it with her own hand, giving it a short squeeze. Maybe it was to help calm her down, or reminder her that she had a friend here. It could be either, really. Musica's outburst was just going to get her in more trouble.
"No, no, it's fine, Uncle! Really! Aha...This is Musica. She is somebody I trust deeply to help us." Seika said, trying to smooth over the meeting while flashing the friend a pained expression. One that wanted to apologize but was unable. "Y-Yes, sir. We will help the nobles right away..."
