Welcome, Wakener, to Shinobi Strike: Shattered Past! Who I am is of no consequence, but I imagine you're confused in this big, new world, so let me help you settle in in any way I can. The world has changed a lot from the one that you know, and many things that you thought you knew may no longer exist. The great villages have been taken by demons and spirits alike, rogue machines whose orders have skewed with the ages, and, of course, mother nature herself. Information and technologies have been lost with the sands of time, leaving us at perhaps our most vulnerable. But fear not, because there are others just like you, other Wakeners, who have begun reclaiming the lands.
