Inusekai Park | Dog Summons | Stat Cap: 8

Nestled in the sagelands is a massive grassy field expanse and a number of man-made constructs gifted by summoners and sages of the past. The land of the dogs has been traditionally nameless and only known as the Inusekai (dog world) but has been nicknamed the “dog park” because of the playsets introduced by human summoners in more recent years. It is a dog’s paradise filled with toys and playsets such as dog slides. The pack's alpha sleeps under the tree in the center of Inusekai. Hundreds of dogs roam the grounds and sleep around Tsubaki under the great tree of Inusekai. There are also large ponds located throughout the park for the canines to swim and cool off. The pack’s territory is always sunny and warm during the day but cools off in the evening. The clouds above Inusekai Park are famously large and pleasantly puffy at all times.

Way of the Dog: A simple yet effective strategy to battle, those of the dog are among the best trackers in the world and they use this fact to their advantage. When sage mode is active and half nature chakra is paid in a technique, then for as long as the user remains aware of the targets location (whether by sight, smell, chakra, heat, etc) Projectiles both chakra and not will curve their trajectory until they either strike their intended target or collided with an opposing jutsu. If desired the user may also take direct control over the trajectory of their jutsu by spending an activation to do so.

Dog’s Elements: Lightning, Earth.

Current Sages:
1. Unki Amano [ Contract Holder, Hurrak ]
2. Shinji Ketsueki [Evil Toaster Yokai]
3.

                                ▰ Toboe
                                Rank D | Chakra: 250 | Stamina: 260
                                Str: 2 | Spd: 1 | Agi: 2 | End: 0
Toboe is a beagle with calico coloring and easy to carry in the arms. Toboe is a shy dog who prefers to hide behind the other dogs. As such his selection of jutsu lean toward surveillance and hiding.

                                Ability: A Nose for Trouble
Toboe's special ability allows him to have tracking abilities through scent. He can distinguish any scent even if the target has tried to mask their scent through various means (Ignoring colossians with techniques that try to hide scent). Toboe can track one target through an entire topic. However, this enhanced scent also makes him much more susceptible to genjutsu involving scent, resulting in scent-based genjutsu taking one rank higher chakra cost to kai out of.

Burying Shame | Rank D | Cost: Stamina
Toboe’s can rapidly bore a holethrough any earth or doton jutsu, including an opponent's jutsu. Creating holes through an opponent's jutu does not defeat it, but instead can ignore a collision by allowing the dog to tunnel through the effect. Holes are also considered permanent structures unless altered by other means. New holes are also considered connected to previous holes.

Major Whiff | Rank D | Cost: Chakra
Toboe uses wind chakra to enhance his scent. This allows him to smell out a scent he has gathered throughout the entire sub-forum to which the dog is in. {On use, picks up the trail of a previous scent. I.e Toboe picked up the scent in thread 1. He uses whiff. He finds the scent is in thread 2. They can then move to thread 2. If the technique is used again it can determine if the scent is still in 2 or if it's moved again.} This ability lasts for three posts when used, and during this duration any attacks that originate from the tracked target location will grant both the dog and its summoner [2] points in agility if using a physical based dodge action to avoid it.

Scaredy Cat | Rank C | Cost: Complex
Toboe’s body is channeled with lightning chakra as he charges the enemy, or finds some other eans of making physical contact with a foe. This makes his hair stand on its ends like a cat. Anyone who touches Toboe risks damage equal to this jutsu and stage two burns. If this ability is increased via the strength stat, then the stage of burns is also increased with it. With this jutsu always dealing a minimum of stage two burns.

                                ▰ Todoroki
                                Rank C | Chakra: 400 | Stamina: 450
                                Str: 3 | Spd: 4 | Agi: 0 | End: 0
A brown german shepard who comes up to the waist of a six foot man while he sits. The dog has a highly curious nature and is the most social toward strangers. Todoroki is also an extremely loyal dog who wishes to support his contract holder. Because of this, his techniques are designed to be used to either hold off or subdue the enemies of the summoner. Todoroki is proud of being the best boy of the pack.

                                Ability: Proud Partner
While summoned on the field, Todoroki is able to perform a unique form Korabo through the use of shouting encouragement.. This does not require an activation from Todoroki to perform but still increases a single jutsu of your choice by one rank per post. Because this form of korabo is special, it cannot be combined with other forms of korabo. Meaning you cannot use this to boost your jutsu and then use a clone or other source to korabo that again into a higher rank.

                                Takedown | Rank C | Cost: Simple
Todoroki leaps onto a target in order to knock them onto the floor and pin them to the ground holding them in place. This technique gains a [1] point increase in strength, and increases by [1] point each post the target is trapped by the pin. Breaking the pin requires stamina equal to the rank of this technique after stat increases, as well as another rank in stamina per every [2] point difference between Todoroki and the pinned target. Ex: Todoroki has [4] in his strength stat and the pinned target has [0]. They then have to pay A rank in stamina, plus a D ranked amount added on for the [4] point difference in strength. Pinned targets are considered unable to move their hands to perform jutsu, but other methods of forming chakra may still be used.

Rushing Aid | Rank C | Cost: Complex
Todoroki uses chakra to blur in front of the summoner. The dog then braces for impact by revilatizing its legendary armor or even increasing it to the rank of this technique if adequate stats are granted. Unlike other defensive techniques, however, Rushing Aid scales off of the strength stat as his fighting spirit clashes directly with any attack!

Howling Bloodmode | Rank B | Cost: Chakra
Todoroki opens his mouth and lets loose a fear inspiring howl. Rather than demoralize the enemy, his voice instead acts as the key to tapping into his primal nature. While in this state Todoroki’s body grows more muscular as it holds onto stat increasing effect. Any time another effect grants Todoroki a stat increase, the amount gained is increased by [1] up to his max stat cap. Additionally, while in this mode all stat reductions can only apply their respective decrease at rate of [1] per post. Meaning that a stat decrease of [4] in strength all at once is now spread out as Todoroki loses [1] in strength every post for four posts until the max duration is applied. Multiple stat reductions are ignored until max duration of this effect. [4 posts] is reached. Two post cooldown.

                                ▰ Tenkai Pack
                                Rank B | Chakra: 680 | Stamina: 680
                                Str: 4 | Spd: 4 | Agi: 2 | End: 6
Six Dobermanns each the size of Todoroki. The six move as one and seldom debate amongst themselves. Their priority is to neutralize any threat to the pack. This includes any threat to the contract owner.

                                Ability: We are One
Each Dobermann has a single activation and are capable of making their own attacks separately. The listed stats are a model of each of the doberman’s physical abilities. In addition, resources are shared between the six dogs.

Spiral Cage | Rank B | Cost: Chakra
Four of the pack surround a target. Each one uses a D-ranked amount of chakra. A giant whirlwind surrounds the target, forbidding them from moving. The whirlwind keeps the target within its borders and, if they take their feet off of the ground, causes them to be violently flung against the cylinder base of the whirlpool. Each collision causes moderate gashes against the opponent. Whirlwind last four posts.

Double Strike | Rank B | Cost: Stamina
Two dogs of the Tenkai pack will strike against an opponent. They’ll either attack from separate directions or from the same place. Each attack is counter as C-ranked in power, and is considered to have overwhelming ONLY in speed.

Chain Lightning | Rank A | Cost: Chakra
The technique begins with any number of dogs are close enough to each other. Lightning will form between their bodies to create a chain of lightning between them. In addition to this lightning damaging any enemy in contact, running into the chain will cause the opponent to become tangled within it. Trapped targets are unable to mold chakra properly as electricity jolts through their body. Lightning lasts for four posts.

                                ▰ Takemaru
                                Rank A | Chakra: 815 | Stamina: 815
                                Str: 3 | Spd: 3 | Agi: 8 | End: 8
A great dane the size of a horse. He is the more even tempered of the dogs with a pure gray coat. He does not like to fight, and thus will do everything in his power to stop it. Ideally he would prefer to hang out with children and be scratched behind the ear.

                                Ability: Compassionate Ally
If any other dog summon was taken out during the course of the fight, Takemaru is able to refill them with vigor and life and have them return to the battle, restoring stamina and chakra from Takemaru’s remaining pools up to the animal's max. Stats of the revived animal also may be filled up to their stat cap from Takemaru’s stat arrangement above [Fading after two posts].. Using this unsummons himself in the process and this can only be done once per fight.

Sage Mode Bark | Rank A | Cost: Chakra
Takemaru barks loudly against a target who has activated sage mode. The nature chakra in the bark causes the sage mode to be de-activated. The opponent cannot re-activate sage mode for two posts. This technique has a four post cooldown.

Curse Mark Bark | Rank A | Cost: Chakra
Takemaru barks loudly against a target who has activated a curse mark. The nature chakra in the bark causes the curse mark to be de-activated. The opponent cannot re-activate their curse mark for two posts. This technique has a four post cooldown.

Demon Cloak Bark | Rank S | Cost: Chakra
Takemaru barks loudly against a target who has activated a demon cloak. The nature chakra in the bark causes the demon cloak to be de-activated. The opponent cannot re-activate their demon cloak for two posts nor can they communicate with their demon in any way. This technique has a four post cooldown.

                                ▰ Tsubaki
                                Rank S | Chakra: 1300 | Stamina: 740
                                Str: 8 | Spd: 8 | Agi: 0 | End: 8
Tsubaki is a bloodhound, but she’s a gentle girl. She’s slightly smaller than the Tenkai pack, but her wisdom causes her to stand a head above them. She’s got golden brown fur and can see through most people. She is the one who decides who will be a contract holder.

                                Ability: Dog Years of Wisdom
Tsubaki is a master at reading targets, a tool she has developed by virtue of her age. For as long as she is able to see the target, Tsubaki is considered to have all the benefits of the infinite perception (and as if she were using a sensory technique). This also includes knowledge of inanimate objects, such as all famous weapons, seven mist swords, or otherwise, upon sight.

Chidori: Thunder Repeater | Rank S | Cost: Chakra
It is no secret of the bond that the dogs and Hatake share, but it is perhaps exemplified best through the use of this jutsu: Tsubaki’s own variation of the Hatake Chidori. By first taking a running start, Tsubaki’s body will convert into a one of pure raiton. A bolt of lightning not unsimilar in appearance to a Chidori or Raikiri. Then. traveling in a straight line, Tsubaki will tea through the opponent as if she were a lightning based projectile. However, the true power of this technique comes in it’s pairing with a Hatake partner (or any lightning based nin), as the damage of this ability is repeated (but not added to colossians) for every tier of paralysis that the target is suffering. The only stipulation is that this paralysis must have been previously applied through a lightning based technique.

Weak Point | Rank S+ | Cost: Chakra
By conferring with her summoner, Tsubaki will instruct them to be able to increase the lethality of their next attack. Any offensive jutsu that is augmented with this technique now ignores armor or defensive jutsu equal in strength to this jutsu. If the augmented technique already has this effect, then this exploitation can be applied to the savagery of the strike itself, doubling the length of trauma the target suffers.

"Hm." The shark-esque girl grunted. "Hrmph." Her stomach grumbled. "How did I get here?" She asked herself not really knowing. She'd been skating along the ocean any way it would take her following the flows and currents. Now she had ended up in this rather lovely place. She felt rather calm here. Something deep below the earth seemed to be calling out to her more clearly here too. Was this a place of some spiritual significance? It seemed improbable with all the children's play equipment which was scattered around.

But what was with all this equipment? Did someone live here? Breezy could smell the vaguest hint of blood but she certainly couldn't see who lived here. The blood she smelled was that of an animal she thought though she couldn't put a finger on what or where it was coming from or what that animal might be. Perhaps the blood was rather dry by now? Stale blood was never really the same as fresh blood. Maybe there would be something Breezy could eat here. Admittedly there was grass but that was really no good. Breezy needed meat and would settle for nothing less. The weak should fear the strong!

Breezy began to sniff the ground with her powerful nose getting down on all fours. She would have her meal. One way or another!

Tsubaki
"The Benefactor of All"

Tsubaki had, quite quickly in fact, decided to attempt to become a Dog Sage. She always loved dogs, and they seemed to always be quick to like her. While Kujaku and Shigen were off doing their own things in the other parts of the sagelands, Tsubaki was here in Inusekai Park.

Looking around, she found the little dogpark pieces absolutely adorable; and the dogs playing on them even moreso. Suddenly stricken with an idea, she slowly approached the dogs as they were playing. Much to her expectation, they didn't really react; other than a quick few barks in her direction that sounded quite excited. Looking back and forth between the group of them, she spotted a smaller dog. A beagle with the coloring of a calico. Tsubaki immediately thought he was the most adorable thing ever, and waved to him. The little dog gave out a little yelp when she did this, but didn't appear especially scared. "Well hello there little one, aren't you adorable!" Tsubaki said, calmly moving over to the little dog. "W-who are you? The dog said, his movements a little uneasy. "A... talking dog? Well, that's a first." Tsubaki thought to herself before saying: "I am Tsubaki, a genin of Konohagakure." Tsubaki spoke clearly, but in a very gentle tone. She certainly didn't want to scare the poor thing. "Tsu-tsubaki!? Y-you... carry the name of our leader." The little dog paused a moment, clearly in thought. "I a-am Toboe. W-why have you c-come here, Tsubaki?" He then said, a little bit of confidence now in his voice. "I came to make a contract." Tsubaki replied softly, "Though if I had option, I'd love to stay here for awhile too." She says, then giggles a little. By the look on Toboe's face, the giggle completely won him over.

"H-here! I'll show you to the other dogs, and eventually our leader. I-is that okay?" Toboe says while skipping ahead of Tsubaki a little. "Certainly, I'd love to meet all of you!" Tsubaki replied with, her face practically beaming with joy. Quickly, the pair of them moved forwards; going deeper in the park. Rather swiftly, they came up upon a rather large german shepard. In fact, he was enormous. "T-this is Todoroki, h-he's a pretty nice guy." Toboe says as the pair of them approcach the german shepard. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Todoroki. I am Tsubaki of Konohagakure." Tsubaki said, giving a little bow. However, as she raised her head back up she saw that Todoroki was utterly dumbstruck. His face was painted with a combination of shock and happiness. "S-she shares the n-name of our leader, Todoroki. A-and s-she says she w-wants to meet h-her." Toboe explained to the much larger dog. Todoroki continued to look astonished, though he did speak up. "I see, this is a very interesting turn of events. You said you wanted to form a contract, and that you wanted to meet our leader?" Todoroki asked Tsubaki. "Well, yes. Is there an issue with that?" She asked. "Oh no, of course not. I just wanted to make certain." Todoroki replied. Proceedingly, the three of them now journeyed further into the park.

Toboe was talking about something to Todoroki in their dog language, so Tsubaki avoided interrupting them. Slowly, they came up on a rather large hill with a massive tree growing out the top of it. As they approached it, a group of six dobermans the size of Todoroki seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Tsubaki was more pleasently surprised than actually shocked, even though the last few dogs she's encountered are all taller than she is. They didn't run up the group, but the dobermans were clearly anxious... or was it excitement? It was hard to tell. Slowly as ever, Tsubaki, Toboe, and Todoroki approached the dobermans. Before either of the other two managed to say a word, Tsubaki bowed to the large hounds and said: "It is a pleasure to meet you, I am Tsubaki of Konohagakure. I am here seeking to speak with your leader, and to form a contract." Again, it took her a moment to raise her head back up; and when she did, the whole group of dobermans looked shocked, though not unpleasently. Toboe spoke up quickly, saying: "T-these six a-are the Tenkai Pack. T-they're almost a-always together like t-this..." His voice was slowly gaining confidence, and the Tenkai Pack moved into a pose so that they looked more... regal? Tsubaki wasn't entirely certain, but they sure looked impressive. Tsubaki giggled again, looking at them posing like that. Again, her laugh seemed to completely break the air and make everything feel casual.

The dogs already with her were having a conversation, though Tsubaki had no idea as to what about. Again, dog speech. Slowly, a absolutely massive great dane with a smooth grey coat approached the group. Tsubaki stood up from her comfortable spot on the grass, and looked straight at the massive hound. Intimidating isn't how she would've described him, because she thought he was adorable. Tsubaki waved to the horse sized dog, which seemed to get him a little excited as he walked up to the group. As he got within tail's reach of the other dogs, Tsubaki spoke up with yet another bow: "I am Tsubaki of Konohagakure, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am here seeking to speak with your leader, and form a contract. Might you know here they are?" For the fourth time in a row, as Tsubaki raised her head the dog looked surprised. "Is it really so surprising that my name is Tsubaki?" She asked, an eyebrow raised. The grey furred great dane seemed to laugh, though he may have been coughing; it was hard to tell. "Oh no, it simply seems to be a happy coincedence." He said, his voice surprisingly soft for his size. "Oh, that's good to hear." Tsubaki replied. The great dane then said: "I am Takemaru, it is a pleasure to meet you as well Tsubaki." Tsubaki herself was quite surprised by the gentle manners, especially given the size of Takemaru. "If you would wish to see our leader, please follow me." Takemaru said, beginning to climb the hill.

Following Takemaru up the hill and towards the massive tree, Tsubaki began to feel a gentle comforting sensation. It was... somehow familiar, though she wasn't certain as to from where. As the pair of the crested the hill, Tsubaki saw potentially the most adorable dog of her life. A bloodhound who was only a bit smaller than the Tankai Pack. As the pair of them approached, the dog lifter their head; clearly having been napping just a moment ago. "Lady Tsubaki, you have a visitor." Takemaru said, his voice a bit softer than before. Tsubaki, on the other hand, was now horribly confused. Yes, they kept saying that their leader shared her name; but this felt a little too unreal, now that she was up close. The bloodhound Tsubaki looked over to the human Tsubaki, and seemed to... smile? "What is your name?" She asked, her voice incredibly soft. "I... I am Tsubaki." Tsubaki replied, utterly taken aback by this point. "How... interesting. It is a pleasure to meet you, Tsubaki." Tsubaki the bloodhound replied. "What is it that you have come here for, Tsubaki?" The bloodhound Tsubaki asked pointedly. "Right to the point... I have come here to form a contract, and to become a sage." Tsubaki the human replied just as pointedly. "Aha! Bold, I like that. Well, both of those are arrangeable. Firstly, you must sign the contract." The bloodhound Tsubaki says, seemingly conjuring a scroll from midair.

The scroll itself was massive, for a scroll, as it stood about as tall as Tsubaki (the human). Tsubaki (the blood hound) then laid it out a bit, showing where a few blank spaces are. "There have been many before you, Tsubaki, and there will probably be many after you. By adding your name to this list, you become a part of history. Are you ready to shoulder this burden?" The bloodhound Tsubaki said, her voice becoming rather serious. "My mind was made up a long time ago, I wouldn't have come all the way out here just to leave." Tsubaki the human said, her voice cracking a little. When she then turned to look at Tsubaki (the bloodhound), she saw the dog was smiling softly. Well, to the extent that dogs can smile like humans do. Proceedingly, Tsubaki (the human) signed her name on one of the blank spots as directed by Tsubaki (the bloodhound). When she finished, she felt a sudden rush of power. It didn't feel entirely unlike the wind, and it was quite pleasent. Like that she suddenly had friends whenever she needed them. "Go ahead and keep the scroll, Tsubaki. It's now your duty to carry it with you." Tsubaki the bloodhound said, rolling the scroll back up. "Truly...? I... thank you. I don't know what else to say." Tsubaki the human said, her voice truly cracking now. In fact, tears were streaming silently down her face. She slowly picked up the massive scroll, and stared hard at it. "It's okay, I promise. I know you will keep it safe, Tsubaki." Tsubaki the bloodhound said, clearly trying to cheer Tsubaki (the human) up.

"Thank you. But..." Tsubaki the human paused a moment, then said: "But what of becoming a sage?"

Tsubaki
"The Carrier of Hope"
Read this first:
The color "Goldenrod" is for reference of the Shinobi Tsubaki. The color "Purple" is for reference of the Dog Tsubaki.

Tsubaki looked up at Tsubkai after taking a short nap, an expectant look in her eyes. Tsubaki herself, however, was too lost in her thoughts to notice the dog's attention. A few short moments pass before Tsubaki looked down at Tsubaki, now noticing her attention. "Ah... right. Becoming a sage. I had... gotten so distracted that the whole thing was blown from my mind. My apologies." She said, bowing slightly.

"So, I must meditate and attempt to draw in this 'nature chakra'?" Tsubaki asked. "In short, yes. If or when you have issues with this process, I will be right here to aid you in overcoming them." Tsubaki replied. Tsubaki nodded to herself, and got into a more comfortable position. Slowly, she closed her eyes and began to focus on the environment. Within her mind's eye, she saw something. It wasn't much, but there was a small light seemingly flitting about the memories that came to the surface of her mind.

A whole day later, and Tsubaki was begining her meditation at the break of dawn. She was completely determined to acheive true sagehood. Again, that light appeared flitting about her memories; but it was larger, though only marginally so. She hadn't asked Tsubaki if this light is what she is supposed to be focusing on, but it felt like it.

Again, another day passed. Tsubaki had checked up in Tsubaki several times now, making certain that she was still in a good condition; and that something hadn't gone wrong with the process. Tsubaki, herself, on the otherhand was so focused that she didn't ever notice the dog.

The fourth day meditation came, and with it the light was less a flitting ember: And more a blazing sphere. Tsubaki wasn't amazed at her progress, and was fairly certain that something was slowing her down. After a moment of thought, it was probably just her lack of general focus. She can't help it that she constantly worries that someone somewhere is hurting, but she must focus on the task at hand.

On the fifth day. Tsubaki was nowhere to be found. Tsubaki had no idea where she went, she seemed to have left in the middle of the night when most of everyone was sleeping. Tsubaki was worried about the girl, and so went looking for her. She found her practically at the edge of the sageland, staring off into the rolling plains and hills with a somber expression. "Is... something the matter? Tsubaki asked, speaking tentatively. Surely the process hadn't broken the girls' mind, right? "I... couldn't focus. Every time I felt that I got close to making sense of it, something else would come to mind. I can't just be sitting here, meditating my days away when there are people out there that need help." Tsubaki turned to look at the dog, her expression a little sad now. However, Tsubaki just began to laugh; though it came out more like a yipping bark. Tsubaki didn't say anything, she wasn't certain what to say anyway; and so simply waited for the dog to say something. "You already achieved sagehood Tsubaki, the fifth day is simply meant to... finalize the process." Tsubaki said, laughing again. Tsubaki on the other hand, couldn't make sense of what she meant. She was already a sage? She didn't feel any different. "Judging by the look on your face, you seem to have misunderstood. After your meditations, and by the sounds of it during them, you always thought about helping others: Yes? Well, that determination, that focus, is your catalyst for being a sage and using nature chakra. So go on: Search for those who need help, and help them. It is truly what your heart desires, is it not?" Tsubaki said, her voice overly kind. Tsubaki wasn't upset by this, in fact: It made sense. She felt more of that 'energy', the nature chakra, when she was thinking about helping people. But she was so focused at the time that she didn't notice until now. Suddenly overjoyed, Tsubaki hugged the dog tightly; and then began her journey back home.

She was sure Kujaku would be impressed, or at least happy for her. Either way, she had completed her task. While she would've loved to stay in Inusekai Park, she had greater challenges ahead of her. And she felt that she needed to check up on Kujaku, as per usual. And so, on she went. Taking winding path after winding path, feeling the nature all around her as she made her way back to Konohagakure.

Dogs. Dog world. Dog park. A grassy expanse where dogs have all the fun with all the room to run and play! This was a journey a long time coming that Unki finally fulfilled. This place in time was the brief window of time in which Unki returned to Kumoito and hadn't took on the beast of a being who battered the hotspring to bits. As consequence, in this moment in time, Unki's health was just fine! Her excursion went generally well. [1/5]

Unki certainly sought the dogs out but her intentions weren't purely for power. The diver-made-Empress was self-proclaimed "one with the ocean" with her fondness and respect for the aquatic scene was immense. But her ties to the dog were different. Her human skin was once shrouded by a coat of yellow fur and her soul was once swapped with a literal dog. The experience was certainly once in a lifetime. [2/5]

She was greeted by an orangish Shiba Inu with a warmth in its demeanor. The dog was more than eager to meet someone carrying new scents. "Hello, hello!" The Shiba said with its tail wagging. It was so exciting to have a resident canine greet her already! "Hello!" She squealed. Just absolutely tickled by how soon the encounter was kicking off on a good note. "You have food? You have food! You have meat!" The Shiba smelled out the dried beef in her pocket prompting Unki to kneel and pull out her supply of dried meat. [3/5]

It was a simple exchange of kindness. A touching exchange. The Shiba happily accepted in its jaws and savored the smokey delight before setting the snack down at its feet. The Shiba gave a longing, bright eyed look before speaking: "you are pure of heart. You understand the pursuit of the dog. Food and friendship. Here! Hang on!" The shiba ran off with the hunk of dried meat in its mouth leaving Unki to wait for a grand surprise. The Shiba returned with a far larger, golden canine with a long ears and face that Unki immediately fell in love with. [4/5]

The dog was carrying a massive hunk of bamboo in its mouth. "Boss Tsubaki! I leave it to you!" The massive hound tilted her head just enough to reveal the bamboo was a tube housing a a massive scroll. The paper spool slammed on the ground and she planted her paw on it to roll it open. "Dear pup, I have heard of your kindness. Therefore, I give you this gift. With your bloodied paw sign your name and then make a print on the paper." [5/5 - Fulfilled post requirement to slot Unki for the Dog Summoning contract]

Unki was.... lost for words by how quickly one act of generoistiy escalated. "O-oh okay. Erm." She slowly hesitated to collect a knife from her pocket, show off her unmarred palm to the dog as she flashed a sheepish smile, and slit her fingertips. She carried on with some tid-bit about health as she winced (excessively) through the act of injuring herself. "It's- uhm- not ea-easy writing in one's own blood, you know? Average human clots up with barely a- ow! A drop of blood unless its like a big, yucky wound." [1/5]

{....to be continued}
ooc: this change was better not made in an MIT - because it could get lost - but that's where it would have happened - before the present.

Unki wrote her birthname in the characters fate dictated : 天の雲姫. A careful process, really, with all the strokes needed to get it all "just right" without making too big of a mess of an injury. "T-Thank you, Miss Boss Tsuba-ki." She said as she ran her reddened middle finger on the paper for the final two strokes. Unki palmed her fingers and looked up thoughtfully to the massive dog: "what m-ade you pick me?" The massive bloodhound eased her body to the grassy ground. Paws moving to overlap one another before she lowered her head to rest on her front legs. Beside soft folds of her skin, her large tired eyes seem to drowsily beam into Unki's eyes. Unki was tiny in comparison! "I can see by the look in your eyes that you've got a unique experience with the common canine. Were there any another sage of the dogs in your life?" [2/5]
"Well. Maybe? I think? There was this one time where my whole consciousness- err- well I woke up and was a small dog! I learned the dog was a human way later!" "I see, I see." Tsubaki replied slowly. Unki's enthusiasm was not at all hard to miss. "Do you remember how it all felt?"

"Oh. Miss Boss, that was so long ago! I remember being small and seeing the world from this different perspective. I could see things differently and I remember being able to smell everyone's sweaty feet!" The Shiba Inu, munching on the dried beef trotted back over to rest beside Tsubaki cheerily chimes in between chomps, "sounds about right!" "Then there was this other time that I turned into a like a big, humanoid hound person with fur, a long wishy tail, and a cute doggy snout!" [3/5]
"We animals have a way of sensing these things out. We aren't so mythical that we can smell your complete past but that transformation stands out to us as something extraordinary. That event in particular imprinted you with a very special connection." It was... humbling in some sorts that Tsubaki was able to practically look through her and do so in a completely different means than sight. Unki palmed her injured fingers and twiddled her thumbs. "Huh. I guess I get that part. After that happened, I did begin to feel inclined more inclined to sprint on my hands and knees and chase after tabloid photographers."

"But I will warn you, Unki," the bloodhound said as she arched the folds of her brow. "none of this will excuse you from any infringements on our trust. We are loyal to the core to our friends. A battered dog who lives in fear of you will be of no use. The pack won't take too kindly to abuse." The warning didn't fall short. The little Unki paled in comparison and she didn't want to imagine the extent of becoming a snack for Tsubaki or her hounds. "Oh," she replies on a thoughtful drawl, " I don't think I could ever be mean to a sweet ole dog." It was genuine a sentiment that, again, Tsubaki's senses could pinpoint. [4/5]

It was here that the massive dog was finding herself feeling confident with the gift of knowledge she was just barking to bestow. "Why don't you put your hands together, as if channeling your energy, and try to revisit those experiences of feeling what it was like to be on four legs again?" She waited for Unki to follow with her instruction with careful attention. "Use your energy to feel out the pleasantries of the meadow and how gentle the winds blow here." The dog watched, smelled, and heard this latest contract holder breathe and hold the tiger seal in meditation. Tsubaki could feel this. The bloodhound could feel the someone else tapping into the essence of nature as a faint disturbance rippling from Unki just off to the side of her paw. Unki's ability to feel out and mold nature energies was only a matter time now and Tsubaki waited patiently. Ever mindful of her latest friend. [5/5] Sage mode learned.
