Makara looked to her side at Kairi, the ninja who must have known the woman just facing across from them. She could tell just by watching him, his mannerisms and body language suggested her was quite beside himself at the current moment. The man stood up from his seat and would begin to pace away from the masked woman with a more agitated and shaky voice than what he had used just minutes ago. The lone beast of the group would feel at least some amount of concern thanks to those strange desires of hers that had ever been present since her least feast. She offered him a visual mlem while he would face the woman again. It was her time to go. Makara would crawl down from her position next to the log and carefully walked over towards Kairi's side on all fours. Sure her back legs were more animal like than her human hands, but that was just another beautiful addition to her!
Upon arriving at the man's left side, the kemono gently placed the top of her head into the palm of Kairi, her hands fitting over atop his while she offered him a thoughtful gaze. Well, her tag at least was Yuki-onna. Snow woman. She identified who she was with but not where he could find them. Their cause was one he could identify with deeply and it gave a small seed of thought within the back of the mans mind. Before he could comment upon the womans words however the lizard girl brushed her head up against his palm. Taking a knee he embraced the creature in a light hug before scratching its head lightly. Rising back to his feet he shifted his weight to one side as he began,"As long as your business is not to take my life, nor to bring harm to these lands, then you are a friend to me. But I wonder about that moniker of yours. Your too kind for it to be because of your behavior. Is it because you can do this too?" Snapping his fingers on his left hand he formed a bird made of ice in his hand before sending it fluttering around. He had never met anyone who had the ability to manipulate ice or snow and if she indeed was, that was something truly worth noting.

As long as a carapace (with a long, sinister tail) doesn't pop into the picture then the outcome of this conversation should turn in everyone's favor. "Our trail leads us here. The missing man in question is said to be tall," she leads into a description and whips her hand out from under her cloak and holds it up above her head. "Able-bodied,"Sadayo then flexed her arm and then drew an imaginary spiral in the air. "Would have came from the Whirlpool Islands. By the name of Kairi." Her arm would drop with her mid-air drawing and wormed back behind her cape.
"We would appreciate confirmation concerning whether or not he's been here. As a previous Whirlpool agents and allies to him any cooperation would be invaluable."

"It's been so long since I've seen someone else who manipulates ice like I do... I've spent the past while thinking I was the only one left..." She caught the tears before they formed and looked away from Kairi, gripping her hands in her lap. She had spent the last six months struggling to not to let this fire inside her consume her.
Kairi proceeded to direct the creature to and fro, up and down effectively playing with Makara with it. Turning his attention to the woman he shrugged a bit,"I came from a very simple family. We are not shinobi, I honestly do not know how or when I first made ice, but I do know it was some time ago. Maybe I received someones blood by accident, or maybe there is more hidden in my family than dad suggested. Either way, it seems I am not the only one either. If you have any tips or things you could teach me regarding it I would appreciate it." Even at his level he knew full well, that one never stopped learning, never stopped training.
OTHER SIDE! A rather large, mouth moving croak was elicited from the frog for her question. It was wondering why she was pantomiming things when it could understand her clearly. As if a spotlight narrowing all the world's attention was centered on the puppeteer. She could just feel the unspoken judgement regarding her own, unhinged faults ebbing out out of from her own head and may as well be reflecting back from her subordinate. A poker-faced mime act might feel more eccentric and not exactly be becoming behavior of an authority figure leading an underground organization. ""Ah." Sadayo sounded hopeful with her inquiry on the massive Toad's experience. What if Kairi was on the move? The croaking noises were going to take some getting used to. Her tone then rolls back to a monotonous drone "we've been asked to extend and fulfill the Hokage's request to bring him back with us." There. The greatest hurdle of this introductory obstacle has been met and scaled. Save one important detail Sadayo nearly overlooked but managed to slide in without little fuss. "to the Leaf." Sadayo temporarily eyes the shield in the toad's grip before returning her gaze to the beast's enormous eyes.

Her brow furrowed along the sudden claim concerning her identity and opened her mouth to speak. “Now, this is a circumstance where I was in need of protection. I’m just a messenger, you see. Any note about holding the title of Special Operative Captian was really only necessary to Leaf forces even if the party was neutral. She happily produces an official ID that relates her position as a member of the ordinary forces. As far as that little folded identification booklet was concerned, Sadayo was just a leaf jounin and field Medic. The ID was true but might not be up-to-date. “ Besides, you must understand that bringing more than one black operative could impose the wrong idea? But in regards to Kairi,” The booklet would be flipped closed by then and retired back in her bag.“ He had a place in the Whirlpool as a teacher. Lahlil wants that same place fulfilled in her new Leaf.”
