Futton Knowledge:
Boil Release (沸遁, Futton; Viz "Vapour Style" ) is one of the two advanced nature kekkei genkai of Mei Terumī and is made up of techniques that combine fire and water-based chakra to create a powerful corrosive vapor capable of melting anything. The user is also able to control the range and level of the vapor's acidity. These techniques are strong enough to melt Susanoo's ribs; an impressive feat, as Sasuke has stated that Susanoo is even more of an absolute defense than Gaara's Shield of Sand. The bloodline itself is nearly as rare as it gets in the shinobi world, with potentially only three known users.

Passive Traits:
All Futton users must have Katon [ Fire Release ] & Suiton [ Water Release ] for their elements.
Can learn one [1] more Katon [Fire], Suiton [Water], and Futton [Boil] ninjutsu per post.
The user cannot be hurt by their own boil techniques.
At character creation, the user must choose if their techniques have a Caustic nature [burns organic material] or a Corrosive nature [burns inorganic material]. A discipline can be used to acquire the opposite effect.
Effects of Futton techniques are cancelled out by Suiton [Water] techniques of equal rank.
Futton users may choose to have [Futtō Henkan] as their starting technique.

Liquid Natures:
Neutral :: At any time, the user can choose for their technique to take on no special nature, reducing the cost of the technique by one [1] rank, to a minimum of five [5] chakra. Essentially, the techniques create boiling water or steam instead. Steam is still incredibly hot, however, regardless if it is neutral, and can still cause severe burns on contact.
Caustic :: The Caustic nature causes the user's techniques to affect organic material, such as plant matter and flesh. This nature causes chemical burns over long exposure that progressively get worse until the liquid is washed off. Unless otherwise specified, it progresses as shown in the following chart. If otherwise specified, the progression begins from wherever is equivalent in the chart below.

Corrosive :: Unlike the Caustic nature, the Corrosive nature affects inorganic material such as stone and metal. While perhaps not so effective against opponents, it can still be used to eat through weapons an armor, or cause larger scale destruction. More specifically, it causes durability damage. The amount of damage dealt scales with rank, at one [1] point per rank, unless otherwise specified, meaning an S-rank Corrosive technique would do [6] points of durability damage per post until it is washed off.


Futton Abilities:
Futtō Soujuu [Boil Manipulation]
Description: This control allows the Boil user to create and bend fluids and vapor. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body, and have their pH levels tilted toward the user's starting nature [corrosive or caustic]. It should be noted that one can only manipulate liquid or vapor that they created. Additionally, any liquid that is being freely manipulated is not very strong, and can be broken or blown away as if it were completely natural. It should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.

• Manipulated liquid or vapor lose any modifiers, aside from its nature, and are beaten by techniques of the same rank, or one rank lower against water.

Futtō Henkan [Boil Conversion]
Description: This ability allows the user to convert naturally occurring water into boiling water or vapor, or into liquid or vapor of their chosen nature [caustic or corrosive]. If neutral, the conversion scale is equivalent to that of Futtō Soujuu [Boil Manipulation]. If caustic or corrosive, the rank required is increased by one [1] rank for the same amount of liquid or vapor (i.e. a D-rank amount of chakra would produce a vial's worth of liquid or vapor). This converted material can then be manipulated freely using Futtō Soujuu [Boil Manipulation] or in established techniques, reducing the cost of said technique by a half [.5] rank.

• The amount of liquid or vapor that can be manipulated is limited to the user's experience rank limit [at E-rank can make up to C-rank, D-rank up to B-rank, etc.]

Futton Jutsu:
Shabondama no Jutsu [Soap Bubble Technique]

Description: Forming an "O" shape with their mouth, the user exhales, creating a large bubble approximately a meter in diameter. Although the bubble itself cannot withstand much pressure, but it takes on the property of the user's jutsu [caustic, corrosive, or neutral] and it can be used for a variety of things. These bubbles can also be filled with different materials, such as blinding powder, smoke, acid, etc. The bubble can be directed as desired, and popped on command, and cause a small spray of liquid that can cause skin irritation. If no command is given, the bubble will pop after three [3] posts. Up to five [5] bubbles can be made per use, but they halve in size with each one created.

Description: The user increases the temperature of chakra to the boiling point, generating large amounts of steam and evaporating any water or ice in direct contact with their body, up to the rank of this technique [see Fu Soujuu for measurements]. The pressure resulting from this emitted steam can then be used to increase the force behind physical attacks, giving the user immense strength. The exact amount of force produced is proportional to the quantity of steam released, as the greater the volume of steam utilized, the larger the pressure that can be built up. On releasing the pressure, the speed and strength of the next physical attack are increased by a half [.5] rank per two [2] ranks of this technique, starting at D-rank.

Alternatively, the user may just release the pressure in an outward blast proportionate to the rank used. This does not provide the boost to a following attack, but has the potential to cause first degree burns, due to the extreme temperature, and knock an opponent off their feet at higher ranks.

Ichimyaku no Jutsu [Connecting Thread Technique]

Description: The user extends a thin stream of sticky liquid toward the enemy, onto whom it then latches. If the string is successfully attached, breathing out, an alkaline vapor rushes down the length of the wire, spiraling as it travels. Coming into contact with the target, the vapor will then either corrode all metallic substances other that come in contact or begin to burn flesh. It is not powerful enough to do instant damage to flesh, but will be quite irritating at first before becoming more severe if not washed off. If the wire is severed, the vapor will simply linger in the air for three [3] posts, affecting all those that are within about a foot of the string.

Jōki Bakushin [Steam Dash]

Description: After increasing their chakra temperature to its boiling point, the user releases boiling steam from their body, after which, they dash straight in a straight line, taking the similar approach to a locomotive. Increases the speed of a following physical action by one [1] rank, be it offensive or defensive. The steam left in the wake of this technique can cause mild burns or corrosion to anyone who comes in contact with it.

Yogoshijutsu [Staining Technique]

Description: Producing a simple handsign, an acidic vapour fog will rise from the surrounding grounds, staining the Chakra signature of the targets within it. This stain can be felt by the target(s) as a heavy irritant which raises their cost of jutsu usage by five [5] chakra. The fog can cause first degree chemical burns and skin irritation, or begin degrading stone and metal within, depending on the nature, after two [2] posts. The fog covers a five [5] meter area, lasts for [10] posts.

Hiruma no Keishou [Leech Gap's Slight]

Description: A thin cloud will surround the user and follow them, almost like an armor, acting as a physical deterrent to others. Contact with the 'armor' will cause the user to glide around the offender, equivalent to a C-rank dodge bonus. Has no highly corrosive properties, outside of skin irritation if caustic, or minor corrosion if corrosive ([1] durability per contact), and lasts for five [5] posts or five [5] contacts, whichever occurs first.

Kuzaraseru Bakuhatsu [Corrosive Explosion]

Description: After inhaling deeply, the user will expel a large globe of vapor that hangs in the air menacingly. Contact with anything but the air will cause it to explode outwards, drenching those within a three [3] meter diameter. If neutral, the vicinity is drenched in incredibly hot water that can cause second degree burns. If caustic, instantly causes second degree burns on contact, and must be washed off immediately or it will burn more. If corrosive, will degrade metal and stone at [4] points per post until washed off.

Kōmu no Jutsu [Skilled Mist Technique ]

Description: The user releases a cloud of mist from their mouth. This mist has extremely corrosive properties, capable of melting even the strongest of armor. The technique has an inherent disadvantage in that its effects are indiscriminate, except against the user, like all techniques of this bloodline. In the event that the mist escapes the containment area, the user can spend half the techniques original cost to adjust the pH level of the mist to neutral. The technique instantly causes third degree burns, and must be washed off immediately, or corrodes metal and stone at a rate of five [5] points per post. The mist lasts for five [5] posts.

Kuzaraseru Bunshin no Jutsu [Corrosive Clone Technique ]

Description: A solid body clone made from condensed corrosive or caustic vapors poured from the user's mouth. It possesses the ability to cause fourth degree chemical burns upon contact, which cause no pain but instant nerve damage, if caustic. If corrosive, will instantly take ten [10] points of durability damage on contact, and cause degradation at a rate of five [5] points per post. The clone can use one [1] Futton-infused Suiton technique up to B-rank before dispersing, and can be destroyed by most energy-based techniques.

Kuzaraseru no Waruasobi [Trick of Corrosion ]

Description: A very simple technique which involves a simple flick of one's hands and a muster of 'sweat' vapor in the fingers. A precise flick comes from the hands or even a shake can be made as if trying to get something off one's hands. The 'sweat' streaks from the hand of the user toward the target as if it came from the barrel of a gun. If corrosive, anything hit by these droplets will immediately corrode to nothingness in their entirety as a thick film envelops it. If caustic, flesh that is hit will take fourth degree chemical burns (painless) the first post, corroding the next adjacent area each post after the initial, until not even bone remains. Creates five [5] 'bullets' per use. They can be manipulated via Futtō Soujuu [Boil Manipulation] to be redirected where the user pleases, but they lose one [1] rank of effectiveness in doing so, causing degradation over the course of three [3] posts if corrosive, and spreading every three [3] posts if caustic.

Hyōton • Ice Release
Ice as cold as the blackest heart

___Background:
Although the bloodline in general is referred to as Hyōton, it is divided into the Ice path (Hyōton, originating from the Yuki clan) and the Snow path (Yukiton, originating from the Shinsetsu clan). Though the two paths come from different places, both share many technique, save a few that were passed down from their ancestors.

Ice Release (氷遁, Hyōton; Viz "Ice Style" ) is the advanced nature kekkei genkai of the Yuki clan, and allows the users to combine wind and water-based chakra to create ice which they can manipulate through willpower alone. Originating in Mizu no Kuni, the Yuki clan was thought to have been wiped out following a civil war that led to prosecution against those with a kekkei genkai, but it seems they may have lived on in secret. Canonically, the ice Haku created was resistant to fire-based attacks, only melting slightly when coming into contact with Sasuke's flames. Using his special ability, Haku developed the Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals, which allowed him to create any number of floating mirrors made of ice to use as a shield or trap an opponent. Haku mentioned that having nearby water is an advantage, as he can simply freeze that water to create ice.

The Snow path, often referred to as the Shinsetsu, originated long ago, in the northern most reaches of the world, twin clans of powerful yet peaceful peoples rested outside of the grip of war. Almost identical in tradition yet completely different in action: one clan stood out, no shame in their abilities; the other shy, reserved, and unnoticeable. When the inner world’s resources began to dimmer, the peoples of the center lands searched and searched, till at long last they had discovered the clans of the Glacial North, and the vast frozen resources they settled atop. For decades the clans were watched in silence, their onlookers tucked into every shadow. In those many years of observation, center-landers witnessed in awe the power of the shameless clan. Their showoff nature resulting in the watchers’ complete understanding of their abilities, however the self-secluded and reserved clan was given little attention. They boasted their power in secretive minority—the watchers abandoning any desire for in-depth analysis.

When the time at long last came, those who had watched and researched for years appeared before the two clans: sword in hand and greed in eye. The clan who was shameless in the usage of their power was the first to fight back. Unfortunately, their resistance was for not; the watchers had seen every possible outcome brought forth by the clan’s abilities, and showed little complication in countering and conquering their every efforts. In what seemed like an instant, the entire clan was obliterated; their land cultivated and made home for the center land’s miners. However, the sect of watchers sent to take out the shy clan was met with a defensive they had no fathomable idea of how to deal with. Before they could venture far into the village, the watchers were coiled within a deep, sudden, stalking blizzard. After countless days of attempting to wait out the storm, the watchers had finally realized, by the white frost creeping on the corpses of allies, that they had fallen into a trap meant to break body and spirit.

The shy clan had conjured this weird weather, storms that would sweep through the entire northern nation for years. The watchers of the center lands were forced to either retreat, or die a cold and grim death. They were successful in defending their homeland, but they learned that so long as they stayed in one location, there would eventually be a day when they would be endangered again. And they could not be for certain that the center-landers, or some other, new force, would not return stronger, and prepared. Due to this fear, families were sent from the homeland to occupy various locations around the world. Anything for a greater chance of continuing their heritage.

___Passive Traits:
All Hyōton users have Suiton [Water] and Fuuton [Wind] as chakra elements.
Can learn one [1] more Suiton [Water], Fuuton [Wind], and Hyōton [Ice] or Yukiton [Snow] ninjutsu per post.
Members must choose between the Ice path or Snow path when creating their character. While the bloodline in general is referred to as Hyōton, only Ice path can learn Hyōton [Ice] techniques, and only Snow path can learn Yukiton [Snow] techniques. Both can learn the general techniques.
Can learn ice jutsu not of their clan as clan techniques, and therefore do not take up slots, excluding Yukiton [Snow] techniques if the Ice path is chosen, or Hyōton [Ice] if the Snow path is chosen.
Members tend to have blue or white chakra, but this is not a requirement.
While not immune to cold, Hyōton users are known to be slightly resistant to cold temperatures. Takes two [2] posts longer for cold-based hazards to progress.
While receiving no increased damage from fire, Hyōton users grow exceedingly uncomfortable in warmer weather. Takes two [2] posts fewer for heat-based hazards to progress.
Hyōton techniques are weak to fire and Katon [fire] techniques, and can be melted by techniques of one [1] rank lower.
Hyōton techniques can cause Frostbite and Hypothermia after extended exposure. Users are immune to this effect, as long as it is their ice.
Snow path members start with the following attribute:
    Tsumetai [ Cold to the Touch ]: The skin of each Shinsetsu clan member is chilled; producing a refreshing, almost intoxicating aura. This aura does not stretch far from one's person, and only the Shinsetsu and those in direct contact with him/her can truly appreciate the feeling. Because of this attribute, humidity is a foreign concept to the Shinsetsu, and only the most extreme of heats will cause those within tsumetai's effect to break a sweat. Additionally, this consistent cold has weathered their skin and innards, providing an internal and external resistance to cold temperatures (takes an extra two [2] post for cold-based hazards to progress). Although not exactly topical, it should be noted that thanks to their relaxing aura, the Shinsetsu are considered some of the most desirable lovers in the world.
Hyōton members may choose to have [Hi Soujuu], if Ice path, or [Yuki Soujuu], if Snow path, as their starting technique.




___Ice Abilities:
Hi Soujuu [Ice Manipulation]
Description: The act of combining wind and water chakra in order to generate water-composed ice, and then manipulate it freely. This method can be performed on existing bodies of water, or by manipulating the minute amount of water molecules in the air. This ability also allows the Hyōton user to meld dormant ice as though it were clay. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be levitated or shifted around as if it were water. It should be noted that one can also manipulate naturally made ice. Additionally, ice that is freely manipulated is not very solid, and can be broken or melted as if it were natural ice.
___Rank E: Very small amounts of water to ice [up to about 10 gallons; a puddle, small fish tank, a sink full].
___Rank D: Small amounts of water to ice [about 50 gallons; a bathtub, a kiddie pool, a water jug].
___Rank C: Medium amounts of water to ice [about 250 gallons; large fish tank, small hot tub].
___Rank B: Large amounts of water to ice [small ponds, small pools].
___Rank A: Very large amounts of water to ice [large ponds, large pools].
___Rank S: Massive amounts of water to ice [small lake, creeks].
• Requires [5] posts to learn, and must be learned before proceeding to other techniques. Receives no reductions.
• The amount of ice that can be created is limited to the user's experience rank limit [at E-rank can make up to C-rank, D-rank up to B-rank, etc.]

Fubuki's Ice Bombs
Description: These bombs are blue crystal-orbs which, when detonated, will release a torrent of ice spikes. The ice rises with enough force to lift a large amount of earth off the ground. For the purposes of the guild, one [1] of these may be created per three [3] posts of crafting. They act as an A-rank technique, but do not follow the user's will during detonation, which can lead to self-impalement if used improperly.
• Requires [6] posts to learn [essentially crafting two], and receives no reductions.

___Ice Path Techniques:
Higu no Jutsu [Ice Tool Technique]

Description: The user performs a single handsign, holds a piece of ice with the opposite, and melds it thusly. Anywhere from three [3] to five [5] basic ninja tools can be created per usage. [Basic ninja tools are simple, small projectiles like shuriken, kunai, senbon, etc.]

Hissatsu Hyōsō [ Certain-Kill Ice Spears ]
Rank B
The user unleashes giant spikes made of ice if they are endangered. Haku used this technique when he defended himself from his father when he attempted to kill him because of his kekkei genkai. Formerly known as the Hi Kasui no Jutsu [ Ice Spike Technique ]: After performing the needed handsigns, the user causes thirty [30] foot tall spikes of ice to emerge from the ground in a ten [10] yard radius of their choosing. The spikes raise at a good speed, but are not reliable in an open area, or on unhindered targets.


Hyōton: Hi Bouheki [ Ice Release: Protective Ice Dome ]

The user will stretch both arms forward, their palms open, and force water and wind to meld into a medium sized dome of durable ice around himself and his allies. The ice formed this way is extremely strong, and even constant barrage by explosive tags is proven useless. It should be noted that the user must hold both arms out in order to maintain the technique.


Kanki Kyouka no Michi [ Frost Reinforce Method ]

The user will surge additional chakra into one of their techniques- during or after formation-creating an interlaced coating on its frame, and throughout key structure points. By applying this coat, most techniques that would typically melt, shatter, or pierce the user's ice, are found worthless.
( Rather than costing [80] chakra to perform, each modified technique costs an additional [20] chakra. )


Makyō Hyōshō [ Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals ]

The abominable and tremendous ability, passed down only within the Yuki clan. It is a technique wrapped up in many mysteries. It was said that no method in existence can defeat this technique. In an instant, multiple mirrors of ice are created around the enemy, reflecting nothing but Haku. The opponent is trapped in a dome of twenty-one floating mirrors made out of ice. Twelve remain at ground level, eight float above the first twelve and angled towards the ground, and the final mirror is above the rest and facing the ground. Once Haku has entered the mirrors, it's possible for him to move between the mirrors at the speed of light. It's near impossible to follow attacks sent out from this incredible movement. As every mirror shows his reflection, one could say it's impossible to see all of Haku's attacks. Even if the opponent tries to attack the real body, Haku will have already moved to another mirror. Without eyes like the Sharingan, it will be impossible to keep track of him. If the mirror Haku is in is broken, he can leap out of one of the fragments and continue his attack or move to another mirror. The technique requires a large amount of chakra to maintain, so Haku's movement becomes progressively slower the longer he maintains the mirrors. Haku can also form individual mirrors, not restricted to the twenty-one-mirror formation. He can create them high in the sky allowing him to take out airborne targets. The cold which emanates from the mirrors is also enough to cause snow to fall. Though they are made from ice, the mirrors are resistant to Fire Release techniques.
Guild Description: Forming single mirrors instead of the full technique requires only an E-rank amount of chakra. Each mirror in the full technique will break under an S-ranked attack, but singly formed mirrors are susceptible to only D-ranks. Movement between mirrors is considered as fast as Shunshin no Jutsu.


___Snow Abilities:
Yuki Soujuu [Snow Manipulation]
Description: This control allows the Snow user to create and bend snow. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body. It should be noted that one can also manipulate naturally occurring snow, and it must be done while holding a double hand seal. Additionally, any snow that is being freely manipulated is not very strong, and can be broken or blown away as if it were completely natural. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.

In the same motion, the user will send a coiling torrent of liquid black ice, whose rotation results in the front of the blizzard to take on the appearance of a dragon's head, at their target. Aside being extremely cold and able to freeze nearby bodies of water, the blizzard sustains incredible ramming force. This technique requires an existing supply of water or ice in order to form.


Hyōton: Haryū Mōko [ Ice Release: Tearing Dragon Fierce Tiger]

After performing the needed handsigns, the user forces a massive single horned whale to rise up from a nearby supply of water or ice. Because of its massive size, the whale is only effective as a distraction, on restrained or immobile targets, or as a creature to absorb an incoming blow. This technique requires an existing supply of water or ice in order to form.


Hyōton: Rōga Nadare no Jutsu [ Ice Release: Wolf Fang Avalanche Technique ]

After performing the needed handsigns, the user will cause nearby ice to take on the form of a hunting pack [3] of white wolves. These wolves are completely controlled by the whim of the creator, and are capable of causing severe physical injury on their target, thanks to their speed and raw cold strength. This technique requires an existing supply of water or ice in order to form. When used as an avalanche, the entire snow supply will be used, creating dozens of wolves. This technique has a weakness to lightning-based techniques, as seen when the wolves completely dissolve when attacked by Kakashi Hatake's Lightning Cutter.


Renga's Ice Creation Technique

This technique turns the moisture particles in the air into an ice disk. They can be hurled with tremendous force at a target and are hard to dodge because of their transparency. The disks can be used defensively, creating highly durable shields or disks to stand on for hovering in the air. They can also be strung together to spy on areas. By forming the ice into a large lens, the user can hover in the sky to focus the rays of the sun into a powerful beam capable of melting and exploding the pinpointed area, but when used in this manner, the beam can be reflected onto the user or anyone else, using a reflective surface, as demonstrated by Naruto who reflected the beams created by Renga's technique on Renga himself using his Konoha forehead protector.

Hyōton: Souryou Boufuusetsu [ Ice Release: Twin Dragon Blizzard ]

After performing the needed handsigns, the user will thrust their arms outward, gathering ice and water to their palms. In the same motion, the user will send out a twisting torrent of liquid black ice, whose rotation results in the front of the blizzard to take on the appearance of a dragon's head, from both hands. Rather than simply attempting to ram their target, these dragons will converge on a single point, using one another's momentum to combine and form a large black ice tornado. Aside obvious impact and wind damage, the sheer cold force is enough to freeze bodies of Suiton (not natural water), and coat enemies' skin in frost. This technique requires an existing supply of water or ice in order to form.

___Background:
A special technique used by the Third Kazekage, of the Satetsu Clan. The Third Kazekage studied a host of the One-Tailed Shukaku and learned to imitate the power to control sand. However, when he imitated sand techniques, he manipulated iron dust instead, thanks to his magnetic abilities. (Jiton Element) It is originally unknown the origins of his magnetic powers, but for a time it was thought to be related to lightning elemental chakra. However, it has been been realized that it was the electromagnetic pulses that are sent through such chakras, that allow him control over the iron sands and dusts.

___ Passive Traits:
• Satetsu users have Doton [ Earth ] and Raiton [ Lightning ] as chakra elements.
• Satetsu users learn one [1] more Doton [Earth], Raiton [Lightning], and Jiton [Magnet] techniques per post.
• Upon creating a Satetsu user, they must select one [1] type of metal they are able to utilize, making them unable to utilize metals from the other types. A Personal Attribute may increase this.
• Receives a half [1/2] rank reduction to the strength and speed of all Raiton [Lightning] techniques used in area while iron sand techniques are active, including the user's.
• Can convert with proper techniques up to three [3] meters per Experience Rank. This maxes out at eighteen [18] meters at S - rank.
• Cannot control metals that compose the human body.
• When facing against chakra steel the user must overpower the chakra in the weapon as well as pay the cost of conversion. If there is no chakra infused in the weapon, the chakra steel is affected as normal. Of course, they must know the object is chakra steel first.

Different Types of Metals and Their Properties

Diamagnetic: → Metals of this nature are utilized by repelling them with the magnetic field created and controlled by the user, requiring near universally one half rank [1/2] more chakra to control than their counterparts. As such the metals that fall under this category are often more suited to being propelled at incredible speeds to pierce through targets. Due to their very nature, metals that fall under this category are more difficult to control and come with unique properties. More chakra is necessary for techniques to be used. Below you will find the list of accepted metals recognized for use with Jiton element, as well as their effects, that are associated with Diamagnetism.
tab Mercury → A highly poisonous, and liquid metal, Mercury is one of the most difficult Diamagnetic metals to use. Exposure to Mercury will depend on the technique for how much it effects them, but consider that each technique that strikes an opponent's flesh exposes them to one [1] dose of Mercury Poisoning, with ingestion counting as two [2] doses. Due, again, to the difficulty of use, the metal requires another one half rank [1/2][/b[ to use.
tab Gold → The greatest conductor of electricity, and far denser than average iron, Gold Sand has been utilized in the past to weigh down and suppress Sand and it's Iron variant. However, the true strength lies in its conductivity. Any Raiton techniques fired against a defense made of Gold Sand will be reduced by one [1] rank. However, the metal then gains an electrical property equal to that of a Minor Crafting Property for two [2] posts plus one [1] per rank of the fire technique defended against. tab Bismuth → Bismuth, most commonly found in cold regions, is a strange metal in Shinobi Strike that reacts differently depending on the temperature it is used in. In cold temperatures structures made by Bismuth become thicker, denser, and heavier, slowing down their Speed rank by one [1] while increasing physical strike Damage by the same amount. This density also helps with any defenses made by it, increasing all defensive techniques and properties by one [1] rank, and its Scale by two [2] or Durability by five [5]. depending on item created. However, in the warmth, the Speed and Damage stats will flip around as the metal becomes less dense, thinning out, making structures made from it more brittle. The defensive bonuses are then flipped. At "comfortable levels", neither hot nor cold, Bismuth is neutral with benefits or negatives, and instead inverts its cost, requiring one half [1/2] rank less Chakra to utilize from the base cost.
tab Copper → The greatest thermal conductor known among metals, copper has several unique properties that can effects its use. Chief among them is the conductivity of heat, causing any fire techniques that strike it physically to be reduced by one [1] rank in strength as the fire is absorbed into the metal. However, the metal then gains a fire property equal to that of a Minor Crafting Property for two [2] posts plus one [1] per rank of the fire technique defended against. Paramagnetic: → Metals of this nature are known as the Chemical Metals, meaning that while they exist naturally in the world they are almost exclusively rare or found through chemical means. That being said, they do exist, and can be harvested from old technology when in need, depending on what us used to harvest from. Unlike Diamagnetic and Ferromagnetic metals, which are either pushed or pulled respectively to control, the Paramagnetic materials utilize both and are thus more fluid in their movements, and precise. These metals are characterized by their subtle properties, the use of which is often requiring of detail and precision to utilize effectively. They do not take quite as much Chakra to use as Diamagnetic materials, but they are not as cheap as Ferromagnetic either, leaving them sitting in the middle with most of the properties while being difficult to obtain overall.
tab Magnesium → One of the most abundant, and volatile metals known to man, Magnesium is a powerful, flammable material that reacts violently to fire, causing C - ranked Fire damage instantly to materials it touches, and dealing twice as much durability damage as warranted. That said, use of Magnesium with fire destroys the material. Fire techniques combined with it find their damage increased by one [1] full rank, and due to its very nature is unable to be put up by water without utilizing a water technique at least one [1] rank higher than the adjusted fire technique's rank.
tab Aluminum → Aluminum is the most plentiful material in the earth's crust, and that hasn't changed much in Strike. That said, in Strike it also has an unusual property that is quite useful for defense. It obscures the perceptive powers of a Sensory and Tracker, causing all techniques that utilize these two types of technique and talent to require an additional rank of cost to overcome it. Likewise, any sensory or tracking effect that does not have a listed rank will be defeated instantly by the Aluminum, as long as the object is ninety percent or more [90%+] covered in the material.
tab Tungsten → Tungsten has many uses and applications in the real world, but what it is known for in Strike is the extremely fine, razor edges that forms naturally in its structure. As such, constructs that utilize an edge, whether projectile or melee, the speed and damage is increased by one half [1/2] rank each. Furthermore, handling the material is difficult, and nearly impossible to do without a reinforced container due to the incredibly abrasive and destructive material, making carrying large quantities of it extremely difficult.
tab Gadolinium → A metal utilized to defend against and contain radiation, it is the go-to element for resisting radiation and resisting the Radiation hazard. When utilized effectively, it reduces radiation effects passing through it by one [1] rank and step.
Ferromagnetic: → Metals of this nature are utilized through pulling on their magnetic field in direct contrast to the Diamagnetic's pushing, thus making metals of this nature better utilized for quick, slashing movements. With the strong magnetic field they already possess mixing with that of the Satetsu member's the pulling takes place at a rapid speed and, when angled, can cut through other materials with extreme prejudice. Unlike the other two, Ferromagnetics are fairly common and lack mystical properties, instead exchanging quality for sheer quantity. In the Source Material, Iron Sand was used with Ferromagnetism in concept, pulling on the most common form of Iron, Magnetite. Due to the extreme ease of the Ferromagnetic metals' use in Iron Sand, they cost one half rank [1/2] less to use in techniques. Look below for the list of guild accepted Ferromagnetic metals and the differences between each.
tab Magnetite → While the most common of Iron's forms, Magnetite is its own metal within Shinobi Strike. Magnetite is the easiest metal that can be used by Ferromagnetic Satetsu users, but the greatest benefit is that the metal calls to users in a way no other metal does. When coming within one hundred yards [100] per Experience Rank of Magnetite, the user will feel a strong pull, a "ping", towards the direction it is hidden.
tab Cobalt → Resistant to rusting effects, making them the best metal to fight against Seiton based characters. All techniques of these two natures utilized on the Cobolt Sand is reduced by one [1] full rank.
tab Nickel → A metal highly resistant to corrosive effects it is the go-to material to use against Futton users and effects. Techniques or effects that are corrosive in nature are reduced by one [1] full rank.
tab Iron → By far the most "useful" of the Ferromagnetic metals, Iron is a metal that can break down into the finest sand Satetsu can utilize. As such it bonds at an extremely finite level, allowing more complex creations such as swords, hammers, armor, etc. Techniques that utilize sand to form physical objects are reduced in cost by one [1] rank. That said, it cannot sit well with other metals, and as such will only bear this property if the construct has no trace of other metals within it.

Jiba Soujuu [Magnetic Manipulation]
Description: The act of converting one's own chakra into the magnetic energy chosen upon creation [ferromagnetic, paramagnetic, or diamagnetic]. Although no longer chakra, per se, it can still be controlled as though it were. Using this method, one is able to control, but not create, metals associated with their magnetic type, most notably, iron sand or powder, but other forms as well. The iron sand is a very easily controlled solid--malleable almost as if a solid--and can therefore be shaped as desired. Other forms of metal, however can only be controlled, not shaped. Structures that have resistances or other forces working against the user obviously require more chakra to manipulate, and are typically deemed "a waste of energy."

Satetsu Soushi [Iron Sand Creation]
The act of converting earth and/or metals into iron sand, via a single handsign, and chakra compression. Iron sand created this way can then be used on the spot, or stored for a later time. Iron sand that is almost, if not completely molten cannot be controlled by Satetsu bloodline means.

Description: The user will place a hand forward, pulsing out chakra, while simultaneously turning it into magnetic energy. It should be noted that when dealing with Raiton [ Lightning ] ninjutsu, you must release chakra equal to the amount used to perform the incoming attack. Description: The user will force iron sand to crawl up on their target. The sand will then wrap up and around, until it fully encases the target. As the sand encloses, it will apply a crushing amount of pressure [see Satetsu Soushiki], more than capable of grinding bones. Although it is almost an assured hit after it makes contact, it is a rather slow technique, and therefore fairly easy to dodge.

___The Senju Family Tree:
The Senju clan (千手一族, Senju Ichizoku) was a group of shinobi that were the strongest, feared and most respected clan above all other clans in the ninja world during the war-torn era before the founding of the hidden villages. Together with their rivals — and distant relatives through a common ancestor — the Uchiha clan, they are responsible for founding the first hidden village named Konohagakure and making the village into what it is today. The clan has produced three of the five Hokage of Konoha: the First, Second, and the Fifth. Wood Release (木遁, Mokuton; Viz "Wood Style" ) is an advanced nature kekkei genkai formed through simultaneous use of earth and water-based chakra natures to create wood, or complete trees. This ability can also be used to create other aspects of trees, such as seeds or even flowering plants. Wood Release techniques can be produced from anywhere, including the user's body, as the user's chakra is literally converted into a source of life. Wood Release Techniques (木遁の術, Mokuton no Jutsu) are commonly affiliated with the Snake seal.

___Traits:
• All Mokuton users have Doton [ Earth ] and Suiton [ Water ] as chakra elements.
• All Mokuton users are able to learn one [1] more Doton [ Earth ], Suiton [ Water ] and Mokuton [ Wood ] ninjutsu per post.
• All Mokuton techniques have a weakness to Katon [ Fire ].
• The Senju Clan is highly susceptible to the Moulding Mushroom and its effects.
• Mokuton cannot be used with vegetation, and only can be utilized to create wood and wood alone.
• When creating a character, members of this bloodline must select one [1] wood type that they may utilize. Disciplines will allow this number to increase, and a Greater Personal Attribute may be utilized to bestow one [1] additional Wood Type.
• Users may choose to have Moku Soujuu [Wood Manipulation] as their starting technique.


Wood Types

Oak: The original "anti-Bijuu" wood, any technique utilized with Bijuu chakra is counted as one [1] rank lower when interacting with techniques from this Bloodline's technique list per three [3] Experience Ranks.

Pine: A dark barked, light colored wood with often found in temperate to cold locations such as the mountains, this wood has chakra dispersal properties associated with it. Any technique that utilizes wood as a form of sealing, or Spiritual defense, is considered one half [1/2] rank stronger than normal for every two Experience Ranks [2] the character possesses.

Ironwood: A dried, grey wood found in deserts that bears a hard, dense state that lends durability to items and structures made of it. All Ironwood has a Defense of D - rank already established that bears a three [3] durability. At every two [2] Experience Ranks the Durability is increased by another factor of three [3].

Aspen: A pale wood rent with black, Aspen represents spiritual cleanliness and purity among the spiritual community. None hate this wood more than Demons and Fades, who feel is it their purpose to generally avoid these growths. Aspen can cause a weakness in Demons and Fade who are touched by it, increasing the cost of all of their activities by one [1] step per two [2] Experience Ranks.

Willow: A hardy plant often found is excessively water-logged areas, the Willow represents a sort of uncleanliness, for they survive off of fetid waters and feasting on the dead left in their roots. Spirits abhor the touch of these trees, finding their presence weakening and disheartening. Willow can cause a weakness in Spirits and Sprites who are touched by it, increasing the cost of all of their activities by one [1] step per two [2] Experience Ranks.



___Senjutsu Techniques:
Mokuton: Hotei no Jutsu [ Wood Style: Laughing Buddha Jutsu ]

After performing the required hand seals, the user creates a number of gigantic wooden hands that erupt upward from beneath the ground, which encircle and then attempt to restrain a chosen enemy. The size of each of these hands is around the size of a tailed beast. ( Must be in Sage Mode to use )


Senpō: Mokuton: Shin Sūsenju [ Sage Art: Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands ]

After entering Sage Mode, Hashirama creates a wooden statue of titanic proportions, easily able to dwarf a tailed beast like Kurama. Thousands of hands emanate from the statue's back in countless concentric rows, while its two main hands are clasped as if in prayer. The statue can serve a variety of purposes in battle from fighting on Hashirama's behalf, to defending and even using other techniques with it. ( Must be in Sage Mode to use )

Mokuton: Kajukai Kōrin [ Wood Release: Advent of a World of Flowering Trees ]

Taking advantage of the innate properties of Wood Release which allows the user to force trees to grow on any surface in an instant, the user creates a dense forest of flowering trees. The pollen produced by these flowers is then released into the atmosphere and when inhaled, renders any afflicted target unconscious. With enough willpower, it is possible to regain consciousness. However, in order to counter the technique fully, either the trees themselves must be destroyed completely or the target must continue to remain elevated above the dispersed pollen. ___Mokuton Abilities:
Moku Soujuu [Wood Manipulation]
Description: This control allows the Senju to create and grow existing wood at a rapid rate, or pull it straight from the ground. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were free from the ground. It should be noted that one can also manipulate naturally occurring wood, so long as it matches the type(s) they are capable of using. Additionally, any wood that is being freely manipulated is not very strong, and can be broken or shattered as if it were completely natural. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.
___ Rank E: Very small amounts of wood [bits of bark, twigs].
___ Rank D: Small amounts of wood [saplings, large sticks].
___ Rank C: Medium amounts of wood [young trees].

Mokuton: Sashiki no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Cutting Technique ]

Description: A versatile technique where the user can produce sharp wooden spikes from their body to either fashion short-range weapons akin to a makeshift sword, or else use them as long-range projectiles, where the branches' growth can be triggered remotely, skewering the enemy as a result.

Description: The user creates a semi-circle of wood around a captured target, and then forms spikes within the ring, pointing at the target, preventing them from making any sudden movements.

Moku Bunshin no Jutsu [ Wood Clone Technique ]
Rank: D
Description: A clone that is created by using chakra to alter the user's own cells into vegetation. The clones can be as simple in function as a wooden dummy for use in the Body Replacement Technique or completely mobile and able to perform techniques.[4] They have the ability to travel far from the user and are able to communicate with the original. Moreover, since the wood clone has the ability to merge with plants and trees, it is also great for reconnaissance missions.[5] By directly touching the wood clone with his hand, the user can absorb the information it gathered and change the shape of the clone.[6] Unlike the Shadow Clone Technique, the wood clone doesn't disappear when hit and even appears to take the damage. This, according to Madara Uchiha, makes it the perfect clone technique that only he, with his dōjutsu, was able to see through. If a wood clone is changed into a seed and ingested into the body or left on a target, it can be used as a transmission device of sorts. The user can use these to track their target as the seeds respond to their chakra only.
( Each additional clone beyond the first costs [15] chakra to make. Each clone is able to be given their own chakra pool through donation during creation. )


Mitsuori no Mokusei no Tate [Threefold Wooden Shield]

Description: The user forms a shield of wood, which consists of three round parts out of their hand. The shield is very durable and can be removed and reconditioned any time the user wants to. The shield has a durability of five [5], with a flat defense of D - rank, and is susceptible to fire.

Wood Release: Underground Roots Technique

Description:
Using the Wood Release, a user can manipulate the terrain, bringing out underground roots of varying sizes to fit various offensive situations, such as using the roots for trickery, misdirection and restriction. One can also use a large scale version, bringing out massive roots over a larger area that tangle around each other with such force that any one caught in-between is violently crushed to death. ( The Tajū version is treated as A-ranked, and is named 'Mokuton: Daisōju [ Wood Release: Great Spear Tree ]' )

Ki Eda no Jutsu [ Tree Limb Technique ]

Description: The user summons forth five thick tree roots from the ground. These roots can then be used to shelter, shield, or impale, depending on the user's whim. Unfortunately, they don't stretch too far.

Jukai Heki [ World of Trees Wall ]

Description:
The user creates countless wooden branches that grow at high speed from the ground. The wood interlaces to form a wide, net-like wall with an impressive defensive power.

Mokuton: Mokusatsu Shibari no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Smothering Binding Technique ]

Description: By transforming their arm into a tree, the user can then create multiple branches which will rapidly grow around the target, immobilizing them.

Mokuton: Henge [ Wood Release: Transformation ]
Rank: C
Description: This jutsu is just like any other Transformation Technique. The user performs the necessary hand seals, then wood emerges and covers his entire body and a puff of smoke or chakra covers up the transformation. Once the jutsu is done, the transformation is complete. It acts more like a costume than a transformation, as the user is able to leave it behind if necessary. He also demonstrates the ability to adjust his voice while using this technique.

Mokuton: Daijurin no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Great Forest Technique ]

A technique that changes one's own arm into big trees. Using chakra, the tissues are transformed into trees at the cellular level. Then, by activating the trees, stimulating them to grow rapidly, they lengthen at high speed and fork into many branches. It is possible to capture the enemy with these branches and at the same time, if one changes the ends into sharp stakes, turn them into countless, sharp, spear-like piercing weapons. This technique has also been used to break through stone walls. When a small hole is found the tree will squeeze in the hole and grow into a square shape and increase the size of the hole so a human can pass through.


Mokuton: Shichūka no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Four-Pillar House Technique ]

By sending chakra into the ground, the roots of the plants are converted into raw materials. This technique allows for a building to be constructed, by forcing accelerated growth. Just like with the Four-Pillar Prison Technique, the size and shape of the building are taken from the user's imagination or memories. By placing tags around the house, the user creates a barrier, making it impossible for the enemy to detect it and allowing the user to "camp" in peace.


Mokuton: Jubaku Eiso [ Wood Release: Tree Bind Flourishing Burial ]

This technique lets the user summon a tree to slowly wrap and bind their opponent. This technique is relatively powerful and holds opponents much more gracefully, with less of a strain on the user, because the user sinks them into the ground. Afterwards, the user can enclose the opponent so that their body implodes. This technique requires some preparation as Yamato first had to crush the earth and then add water before this technique could be used. ( 1 post of preparation time needed )


Wood Release: Foo Dog Heads

A technique used to absorb a tailed beast's chakra. The user produces the "sit" (座, suwaru) kanji on their palm and creates a series of wooden pillars, which are engraved with what resemble foo dog faces and have lit wicks on top of them. When the user slams their palm on the ground, the wooden statues rush towards the target and absorbs its chakra. ( Deactivates demonic chakra & tailed beast chakra not being emitted from the original owner, and absorbs it as normal chakra for the user to use )


Wood Release: Stocks

Yamato uses wooden stocks to suppress the targets chakra with his Wood Release. There are also two candle-like appendages on each end of the device similar to the technique Yamato used during Naruto's training. (Foo Dog Heads) In the anime, the stocks were illustrated with metal rings. ( Prevents B-ranked and under chakra usage while in the stocks )


Mokuton: Jukai Kōtan [ Wood Release: Nativity of a Sea of Trees ]

Mokuton • Jukai Koutan is a Ninjutsu technique used by Yamato which uses the Wood Element. After doing the needed hand seals, a small woodland will grow from the ground. The size of the forest is dependent on how much Chakra is used. E-rank usage may only create a few small saplings, but an A-rank usage will create tens of adult trees.


Mokuton: Renchūka no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Serial Pillar Houses Technique ]

A larger scaled version of the Wood Release: Four-Pillar House Technique where instead of creating a single house, Yamato creates multiple houses at once. Because of the sheer volume of structures created with this technique, it appears to exhaust him rather quickly. It should be noted that in the anime, these constructs emerged fully painted and with glass windows. ( In essence, this is the Tajū version of Mokuton: Shichūka no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Four-Pillar House Technique ] )


Mokusatsu Shibari no Jutsu [ Smothering Binding Technique ]

This technique is similar to the Wood Release: Great Forest Technique, as it also transforms the user's arm into several wood tendrils which can be used to capture and restrain an enemy. This technique can be made large enough to capture a giant enemies or a mass of normal sized ones.


Shichuurou no Jutsu [ Four Pillar Prison Technique ]

The user converts chakra into timber under the ground and makes it grow rapidly, while forming it into a wooden prison. The size of the prison is based on the user's imagination. From an insect cage to a great prison, one can make it into whatever they want by regulating the amount of chakra used. The timber itself is treated with a chakra coating, making its destruction extremely difficult. During war, it has the great ability to detain prisoners, but it can also be used as a disciplinary measure for quarrelling subordinates. Parts of the prison can extend into the interior to serve as additional shackles to bind prisoners, and sealing tags can be placed onto the prison, which, when removed, caused the prison to disappear similar to recalling a summon, for later use.


Mokuton: Mokujōheki [ Wood Release: Wood Locking Wall ]

An extremely versatile move, this technique uses chakra to activate the roots in the ground and, using the user of the technique as a reference point, makes wooden pillars appear from left and right. The wooden pillars join together in a dome-shape with the user at the center. This process can be used to catch the enemy in a double sided attack. Also, in case one confronts the enemy at a short distance, the enemy can be locked up inside the dome, setting the situation for a one-on-one fight. This dome can also be collapsed or burnt with the enemy inside to inflict damage. Furthermore, it functions as an easy shelter against the enemy's long-distance attacks, like shuriken and kunai. When Yamato used this technique in Naruto 5: Blood Prison, he formed the dome around Naruto for protection, instead of using himself as the reference point. ( Blocks all projectile-based, non-Katon Ninjutsu A-ranked and below )


Mokuton: Mokuryū no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Wood Dragon Technique ]

After performing the required hand seals, the user creates a gigantic wooden dragon from any surface, which is then directed to attack an intended target. Its shape closely resembles a Chinese dragon, though with a short trunk-like nose, having an elongated and serpentine body, which can be used to constrict larger opponents. It also has the ability to absorb a tailed beast's chakra once it is bound. The dragon created by this technique resembles a creature predominantly seen in Hindu mythology known as the Makara. Over time, the myth surrounding this creature has spread throughout most of Asia, and in Chinese renditions of the creature it most resembles this one: a dragon with an elephant's trunk. If being used from the bark of the God Tree, this technique's name becomes 'Inukai Takeru no Mikoto'. ( Requires Sage Mode to be activated, but does not draw from the Senjutsu Chakra pool unless directed. )


Tajū Mokuton Bunshin no Jutsu [ Multiple Wood Release Clone Technique ]

This technique is essentially a mass version of the Wood Clone Technique wherein the user forms the clone-oriented hand seal and then, using the pre-existing vegetation in the immediate vicinity as a medium, creates a large number of wood clones.


Hokage-Shiki Jijun Jutsu — Kakuan Nitten Suishu [ Hokage-Style Sixty-Year-Old Technique — Enclosed Hermitage Entering Society with Bliss-Bringing Hands ]

This technique utilizes the power of the Wood Release to forcibly suppress a tailed beast's chakra. To invoke this technique, it is necessary for the user or a jinchūriki to be in the possession of the Crystal Gem (結晶石, kesshōseki) that responds to the First Hokage's chakra. The user produces the "sit" (座, suwaru) kanji in his palm, and by touching the tailed beast, or its host, with their hand, the user suppresses the chakra inside an area lined with ten pillars. When Hashirama used it on a tailed beast directly, rather than a jinchūriki, he circumvented the use of the pillars and channeled the tailed beast control through his Wood Release: Wood Human Technique.


Mokuton Hijutsu: Jukai Kōtan [ Wood Release Secret Technique: Nativity of a World of Trees ]

A technique developed by Hashirama Senju, founder of Konohagakure, the user forces trees to grow on any surface, easily creating a dense forest anywhere they choose. A small plant can grow into a forest in an instant.[2] By generating chakra, the user manoeuvers it as they see fit for attack and defense; and furthermore, this omnipotent technique even allows them to capture the enemy at the same time. With their tremendous life force, the trees can pierce through earthen walls, and extend their branches at their prey in an instant. Even stating that Konohagakure wouldn't have been established without this technique wouldn't be an exaggeration.

Using Wood Release, the user creates a dome-like defensive structure that completely surrounds which takes the form of a dragon's face. This defense is split down the middle and can be opened on the user's command. It is strong enough to withstand the destructive force of a Tailed Beast Ball. Chōjō Kebutsu [ Top Transformed Buddha ]

After creating a gigantic wooden statue that possesses thousands of hands, Hashirama utilises all of these hands simultaneously to deliver thousands of powerful blows to a target. Due to the sheer volume of the punches involved, defending against the entirety of them is nearly impossible. These punches are of such magnitude that they were able to completely destroy Madara Uchiha's final Susanoo, strip it off the Nine-Tails, while at the same time create a massive crater which later became known as the Valley of the End despite the fact the overall damage of this technique had been weakened by Madara shortly before it landed on Kurama. ___H i s t o r y:
Famous within Kumogakure, the Storm Release bloodline enjoys a long yet well hidden history. Members of the family usually have hot tempers, act before thinking, have a stylized 'Lightning' (雷) tattoo, sport a darkened skin from hard training in the sun, but retain a marvelously blond head of hair. They are also fiercely loyal to their family and village, having never had a member go rogue. A unique naming scheme permeates through the family, having some with names consisting of the English alphabet or being a pun upon a word.

___Passive Traits:
• Ranton users have Raiton [ Lightning ] and Suiton [ Water ] as chakra elements.
• Ranton users have a tattoo of the kanji "lightning" (雷) on their body. This serves as the focus for their attacks and, if destroyed, causes Bloodline Techniques to go out of control, requiring one [1] rank higher in cost to control properly.
• Most Ranton users have a fierce loyalty, comparable to that of the Hatake. This does not mean they are required to be Oathkeepers, however.
• Most Ranton users have short fuses, darker skin, and very pure, bright hair, but this is not a must.
• Ranton users are able to learn [1] additional Raiton [Lightning], Suiton [Water], or Ranton [Storm] technique per paragraph.
• Techniques are black in color and have reduced visibility as opposed to other Raiton techniques.

Arashi Soujuu [Storm Manipulation]
Description: This control allows the Storm user to create varied amounts of black colored electricity. Electricity created by this technique has a static effect that can cause temporary numbness or even paralysis on contact. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body. It should be noted that one can only manipulate the electricity they themselves have made. Additionally, any electricity that is being freely manipulated is not very strong, and can be broken or blown away as if it were completely natural. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.
___ Rank E: Very small amount of electricity [static shock]. Can cause tingling and discomfort at contact point. Effects lasts one [1] post.

Kaminari no Kekkai [Lightning Barrier]

Description: While this jutsu does not actually require any seals to perform other then a held ram seal its rather taxing for the user. By quite literally venting Raiton chakra from the body the user creates an aura around them which, while no more then four inches in size, is filled with black lightning. This forms an emergency shield of sorts to protect the user. Given its nature its ill advised to strike the user with hand to hand combat, as it will deliver a nasty shock. Can be maintained for half the original cost per post, and is dismissed by releasing the ram seal.

Denki Bakuhatsu [Electric Blast]

Description: Functioning in a similar way to Kaminari no Kekkai [Lightning Barrier], the user forms the ram seal and releases a surge of black lightning. It is weak but has the potential to cause burns and numbness at higher ranks.

Lightning-based techniques act as [1] rank higher in strength against soaked opponents.

Description: This technique functions almost identically to Denki Bakuhatsu [Electric Blast] in that black lightning is released in a surge from the user by forming the ram seal. However, instead of a radial blast, the lightning is released in a straight line forward. The stream is approximately [3] meters wide and about [15] meters long. If caught directly by the stream, the opponent may suffer severe burns and temporary paralysis, lasting [2] posts.

Description: This technique creates up to [10] brilliant beams of black lightning that the user fires at the enemy. First, a halo of bright energy spreads around the user's hands as the technique is activated, then it encircles the user's hand. From that the beams are shot forward. The user is able to alter the beam's direction after being shot, making it possible to strike multiple enemies with pinpoint accuracy, even bypassing hostages held in close proximity. The more beams that are created, the weaker each individual beam is (all beams together equal the strength of the technique), but being hit by one is enough to deliver a nasty shock that stuns the opponent, causing them to lose [1] activation on their next post. The effect stack per beam the opponent is struck by, up to [1] full post of activations lost.

Description: As the user performs the required hand signs, a substantial amount of black lightning gathers around their form. At the last seal, the user holds their hand forward and releases a mass of lightning in the shape of a panther-like beats to strike a desired target. The panther will then focus on the opponent for [3] posts or until dispersed. Because of the sheer size and intensity of the panther, contact with it can cause severe burns and numbness at the point of contact.

Description: Unlike most lightning-based techniques, this one is slower and easier to dodge, but incredibly devastating on contact. By creating a string of seals, the user creates a flat, vertical disk of black lightning in front of them. This disk is fired straight ahead, leaving a trail of destruction in a conical shape up to [10] meters from the user. Trees, walls, and barriers are fairly easily blown through and treated as full strength against such defenses. However, as the technique is not inherently designed for use on people, the damage dealt to organic targets is [1] rank lower, leaving it still powerful at A-rank but not nearly as devastating.

Description: The user takes aim with both hands, builds up chakra, and then releases a twisting torrent of black lightning at the target at an impressive speed. While twisting, the black lightning will separate and converge, as if dragons clashing during a fight. When the attack finally makes impact the lightning will cluster, swirl, and electrocute a [10] meter area. Then, just as the technique seems to come to an end, the user performs one last hand sign, causing the lightning to coil and spin in a miniature electrical tornado, pulling anything within [20] meters towards it. The dazzling display can cause horrible burns and is likely to knock out if not paralyze anyone caught within.

Kishou Shousa [Weather Manipulation]

Description: The ultimate display of control, the user has learned to temporarily freely manipulate the weather around them. Regardless of the natural atmosphere, they can manifest many different weather effects, effectively turning them into powerful attacks or defenses. It should be noted that the area of effect is not limited to outside, as the user is able to isolate their abilities to relatively closed off areas while within them. The user displays a great level of control over the range and direction of their ability. The user is able to alter the weather of up to a [1] mile radius once every [5] posts for an S-rank cost. From there, an X-rank amount of chakra can be spent to manipulate the weather for both offensive and defensive purposes, like other manipulation techniques. Once the weather effect is created, it lasts for [5] posts before dissipating and returning to however it was previously. Requires [10] paragraphs to learn. Here are some effects:

    • Rain: Once manifested, it could rain softly or fiercely, and could even be directed towards a single person. The rain itself seems to have an unusual effects on opponents, as it is able to drain them of their chakra and vitality, while seemingly making them sad as well. For an X-ranked cost, the user can summon varying sizes of very powerful, pressurized, water trenches to either block incoming attacks, restrain, or crush their opponents. They could even create huge water bubbles that attacks opponents with concussive force. Coming from many different directions, each of the attacks could manifest from anywhere within their vicinity, seemingly coming from thin air. The rain's drain is equal to a C-rank per post per victim.

    • Snow: The user is able to turn a simple snowfall into a powerful blizzard, enabling them to near instantly freeze everything around them, including people. Requires a cold area, otherwise the snow will turn into rain. Anyone caught in this effect experiences cold-based hazards developing at double their normal rate.

    • Lightning: The user can produce large bolts of purple lighting. The lightning could be directed from anywhere, to anywhere the enemy is, and in rapid succession. The lightning is always A-rank in speed, regardless of outside modifiers, but the strength is X-ranked. Should the lightning ever connect, it is powerful enough to instantly kill the target. However, if the user wills it, the lightning can completely obliterate the target, or only shock them.

    • Wind: The user is able to fully manipulate the direction and intensity of wind by whistling. They can summon anything from a concentrated tornado, to several whirlwinds at an X-ranked cost. Each of these attacks have the offensive capabilities to slash and wound the intended target.

    • Sunlight: The user could also make the sun shine brightly. There are no particular effects associated with this weather effect.

___Background:
An extremely well hidden clan. Even within the confines of the shinobi world, only one member has been publicly seen using Scorch Release techniques: Pakura of the Sand. Other suspected locations of this devious clan include Iwagakure, but information is very scarce. It is known that those from within the clan highly respect one another, and their children even after death, which may contribute to their continued stealth and secrecy.

___Passive Traits:
• Shakuton users have Katon [ Fire ] and Fuuton [ Wind ] as chakra elements.
• Can learn Katon [Fire], Fuuton [Wind], and Shakuton [Scorch] ninjutsu one [1] post faster.
• Members tend to have red or orange chakra, although this is not a requirement.
• Users are accustomed to heat and humidity, and thus are not offset by mild examples of these climates. Takes two [2] posts longer for heat-based hazards to progress.
• It takes Suiton [Water] techniques of one [1] rank higher to put out scorch techniques.
• Because they are accustomed to heat, they do not handle cold as well. Takes two [2] posts fewer for cold-based hazards to progress.
• Shakuton techniques can cause Dehydration and burns after extended exposure. Users are immune to this effect, as long as it is their scorch.

___Shakuton Abilities:
Shaku Soujuu [Scorch Manipulation]
Description: This control allows the Scorch user to create weak orbs of scorching heat that can cause burns and trigger the dehydration process when in very close proximity, depending on the rank. While the shape cannot be bent far beyond an orb of condensed heat, it can be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body. It should be noted that one can only manipulate scorch objects they themselves have made. Additionally, any scorch orbs that are being freely manipulated are very weak, and can be broken or blown away as if they were completely natural. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.
___ Rank E: Very small scorch [marbles]. Causes first degree burns at contact point.
___ Rank D: Small scorch [baseball]. Causes first degree burns at contact point, and triggers Dehydration process.
___ Rank C: Medium scorch [kickball]. Causes second degree burns at contact point, and triggers Dehydration process.
___ Rank B: Large scorch [beach ball]. Causes second degree burns at contact point, and triggers stage one Dehydration.
___ Rank A: Very large scorch [boulders]. Causes second degree burns at contact point, triggers stage two Dehydration.

• Manipulated scorch orbs lose any modifiers, and are beaten by techniques of the same rank, or one rank lower against water.
• Scorch objects made via this technique last three [3] posts. An amount equal to the initial cost can be paid to reset the timer.

Mizu Shirizoke [Water Repelling]

This technique produces a mist of pure Shakuton chakra that dehydrates Suiton techniques that come into contact with it. The amount of chakra used in this technique is directly reflective of the incoming attack. Meaning a Suiton technique which costs [40] chakra to form is intercepted by a Mizu Shirizoke worth [40] chakra, and so on and so forth.
• Takes [5] posts to learn, and receives no reductions.

Youen [Heat Haze]

Description: This technique puts the user into a specific chakra mode, enabling them to affect their own Katon. While in said mode, all Katon enacted becomes half Shakuton, half Katon, and their chakra becomes visible to the naked eye. For each rank of chakra invested, this technique gains a post of duration. While this ability is active all Katon [fire] techniques have the ability to dehydrate for their duration, decreasing the time it takes to progress by one [1] post per rank. This stacks each time the opponent is hit with an affected technique. This ability is an augment of a technique, and does not take an activation to use.
• Each rank, E-S, must be trained individually. Reductions do apply.

Bakku dorafuto [Backdraft]

Description: This technique puts the user into a specific chakra mode, enabling them to affect their own Fuuton. While in said mode, all Fuuton enacted becomes half Shakuton, half Fuuton, and their chakra becomes visible to the naked eye. While this ability is active all Fuuton [wind] techniques have the ability to dehydrate for their duration, decreasing the time it takes to progress by one [1] post per rank. This stacks each time the opponent is hit with an affected technique. This ability is an augment of a technique, and does not take an activation to use.

Atatameru [To Heat]

Description: This technique imbues a nearby metallic object with the ability to dehydrate. It's not strong enough to cause burns, but the object in question will become too hot to be touched by anyone aside from Shakuton users for one [1] post. Kansou no Bunshin [Scorch Release: Dehydrated Clone]

Description: A shadow clone technique on a timer. These clones are created with the sole purpose of performing kamikaze style attacks. They will charge their target in order to catch it in a predetermined dehydrating wind-blast. The power of the "explosion" is roughly that of a standard explosive note, but the winds that follow are capable of causing stage one of Dehydration. The clone will self-detonate after two [2] posts, or can be triggered early for an additional full cost of the technique.

Description: The user performs a single handsign and generates ten [10] small shuriken-sized fireballs which hover around a designated area. Kyoujouki no Hitoya [Extreme Steam Prison]

Starts the process of Dehydration to all in the afflicted area, unless otherwise protected.

Kajōsatsu [Extreme Steam Killing]

Description: The user performs the appropriate handsigns, and generates four [4] powerful fireballs which hover around an allotted area. These fireballs are capable of utterly dehydrating those that come into contact with them. This technique trades power for elemental immunity, thusly becoming weak to Suiton techniques of the same rank. Causes stage two Dehydration upon contact, as well as severe burns.


Nichinaishuuki [Diurnal Cycle]

Description: After performing the needed handsigns, three false suns [roughly 3 yard diameter] are generated and rotate around the user. These suns typically keep away attackers while their rotation forces a moderately dehydrating radial wind. Closes proximity causes dehydration process to begin, and direct contact causes stage two Dehydration, as well as severe burns.

Shōkyaku Eikōdan no Jutsu [Incinerating Flare Technique]

Description: The user combines several of their flaming orbs to create a single massive one, which then violently explodes with enough force and power to incinerate a large area around it. When this happens, steam can be seen emitting from the area. Requires 'Kajousatsu [Extreme Steam Killing]' to be activated first. Retains the required jutsu's Suiton weakness. Indirect contact, within five [5] meters of the explosion causes stage two Dehydration, and anyone within an additional ten [10] meters is affected by stage one Dehydration.


Taiyo no Senkou [Flash of the Sun God]

___The Way of Crystals:
The Crystal Release (晶遁, Shōton; English TV "Crystal Style" ) is a rare and specialized field of elemental Ninjutsu that can create crystal as well as manipulate already-existing crystals and crystalline structures. It is seen only in the anime, and its only known user is Guren. It is thought to be comprised of Doton and Suiton.

Crystal Release can crystallize any substance, thus, earth, water, and wood techniques are useless against it. Using crystal Ninjutsu, the user can crystallize any physical material and even the moisture in the air around them, turning them into a weapon. In the case of human targets, Crystal Release can solidify its targets down to the cellular level, imprisoning and even killing the victim should the crystal ever be struck, reducing the mass of crystal and the victim down to crystalline dust.

The Crystal Release, though powerful, has two known weaknesses, the first being that it cannot crystallize either raw energy or Chakra as they have no physical mass to crystallize, allowing a person with either energy-based techniques, such lightning, fire, wind, or good Chakra control to properly counter it. The second weakness of Crystal Release is that it is susceptible to a specific sound wave frequency; because crystal requires a very precise build-up of molecules, the proper sound waves can break down the build-up before the crystal can properly form.

___Passive Traits:
• Users have Doton [Earth] and Suiton [Water] as chakra elements.
• Can learn one [1] more Doton [Earth], Suiton [Water], and Shouton [Crystal] ninjutsu per post.
• Doton [Earth] and Suiton [Water] techniques are a half rank [.5] weaker against Shouton techniques.
• Katon [Fire], Raiton [Lightning], and Fuuton [Wind] techniques are a half rank [.5] stronger against Shouton techniques.
• Creatures directly touched by Shouton crystals are destroyed when the crystal is. The Shouton user can decide that this doesn't happen by simply not crystallizing the person thoroughly.
• Chakra-based barriers can prevent crystal growth, regardless of rank. An example of this can be seen canonly when Hinata covered her body with chakra about an inch from her body, thus allowing her to not be crystallized completely through.
• Users can move freely in their own crystal, though doing so costs five [5] Chakra per post of doing so. The cost covers all movement through crystal for the duration of that post.


___Shouton Abilities:
Shou Soujuu [Crystal Manipulation]
Description: This control allows the Crystal user to create and bend existing crystals as though it were their own. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body. It should be noted that one can only manipulate their crystalline objects they themselves have made. Additionally, any crystal that is being freely manipulated is not very strong, and can be broken or blown away as if it were completely natural. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.

• Freely manipulated crystal is fragile, losing any durability bonuses and resistances in exchange for flexibility. Crystal manipulated with this ability has a durability of [5].

Shishō Tenketsu [ Pressure Points of Harm and Death ]

Official Description: Guren releases two tenketsu points to greatly increase her chakra for a short time by changing her life force into chakra, allowing the use of taxing techniques such as Crystal Release: String of Glory. The amount of chakra released is so much that it causes water to form a vortex around her, similar to the one caused by opening the Sixth Gate of Joy from the eight gates, also her eyes momentarily go completely white, and her chakra is so concentrated that it becomes visible around her.
Guild Description: By carving off one year of life per 160 Chakra gained, the user can either gain the Chakra as a temporary boost or use it to replicate the effects of the Sixth Gate opening for four posts. Chakra is sacrificed in bundles of 160. Trained as S-Rank. Average human lifespan is treated as 100 years for the sake of using this Jutsu. If the years subtracted equal the character's age, the character dies.

Shining Judgment of a Thousand Stones [ Unnamed ]

This unnamed Ninjutsu technique is utilized by members of the Shouton clan. Few knew about its existence until an unnamed member rediscovered the ability and began teaching it as a staple in the clan bloodline. It is seen as the next stage of power in members who possess it, and as such the requirement for learning it are steep in regards to time. This technique allows the Shouton bloodline member to create crystals harder than quartz, or a 7 on the Mohs Scale of Mineral Hardness. This encompasses anything that science, in our world, has dictated to be a crystal.
• Requires [12] posts to learn.
• Encompasses all crystals beyond the 7 hardness scale.
• Must learn before proceeding to use with all other techniques/skills.
• Crystal takes on the properties of the crystal it becomes, such as resistance to heat or conductivity with electricity.

Kurenai no Kajitsu [ Crimson Fruit ]

Official Description: Guren creates a dome of crystal to surround a target. It is highly durable from both external and internal attacks, and can be used to either protect or trap a target.

Official Description: This technique, which seems to be a minor version of the Crystal Release: Crystal Pentagonal Prison, allows Guren to completely encase a single target in crystal. If the crystal is shattered, the victim disintegrates along with the crystal particles. However, Hinata was able to surround her body with chakra before she was completely encased, thereby avoiding the disintegration effect.

Kesshō Gokakurō [ Crystal Pentagonal Prison ]

Official Description: Guren completely encases her opponents in crystal. When the crystal is shattered, the bodies of the victims disintegrate along with the crystal particles. When Shino's kikaichū were examined after being affected with the technique, they appeared to be covered with a frostbite-like pattern.

Shōjinheki [ Crystal Encampment Wall ]

Official Description: Guren sends out a wave of chakra which then turns into an almost impenetrable crystal wall which also repairs itself when damaged. This crystal most likely has a similar endurance to the one created by the Crystal Release: Jade Crystal Labyrinth Technique. Only Shino's enhanced insects were capable of weakening the wall enough for Kakashi to finally destroy it using his Lightning Cutter.
Guild Description: Creates a 20 meter radius field of crystals. Chakra-based techniques are treated as one rank lower against it.


Suishō Bunshin no Jutsu [ Jade Crystal Clone Technique ]

Official Description: After she performs the Crystal Release: Jade Crystal Mirror technique, Guren can make multiple clones of herself emerge from the mirror. These clones are made of crystal, as after Hinata Hyūga defeated one, it crumbled back into crystal. Clones made by this technique are also able to deceive Byakugan users because of the reflective nature of the clone. However by focusing their sight, this can be circumvented.
Guild Description: After creating the Jade Crystal Mirror, up to three clones can step out of it. They are treated as full clones of the user in terms of strength, but have the defense of Shōton crystal. Dōjutsu cannot see through this clone.


Omiwatari no Jutsu [ Gods’ Crossing Technique ]

Official Description: Guren places her hand on a surface, creating a long stream of sharp crystals to bind and pierce a target.
Guild Description: Creates a line of waist-height crystals 100 feet in length on whatever surface the user is touching in whatever direction the user is facing. Crystals that pierce targets will automatically envelope them.


Shōrōha [ Crystal Imprisonment Wave ]

Official Description: A larger scale version of Crystal Release: Crystal Pentagonal Prison, Guren can encase a swarm of opponents in crystal, as shown when trapping Shino Aburame's kikaichū. Unlike other crystal prisons used by Guren, where the crystal emerged from the ground, this crystal forms in the air.
Guild Description: See official description. Only requires one hand’s usage for purpose of hand seals. Traps in crystal everything within 5 meters of the user, including insects.


Suishōheki Hachi no Jin [ Jade Crystal Wall Eighth Formation ]

Official Description: This technique allows Guren to encase a large area in crystal, thus crystallizing everything within it. This technique was first used in Guren's battle with the Three-Tailed Beast, but to no avail, as it broke out shortly after.

Kesshō Ibara [ Growing Crystal Thorns ]

Official Description: Guren creates growing thorn-like crystals that she can manipulate to continuously grow towards her target's direction.
Guild Description: At first usage, creates a large, leafless tree made out of crystals. For every post afterward, the user can create or extend one branch up to ten meters long for ten [ 10 ] Chakra. Branches are sharp enough to pierce through all but the hardest materials.


Suishō Rokkakuchū [ Jade Crystal Hexagonal Pillars ]

Official Description: This technique, which was used for the process of summoning the Three-Tails, creates six large pink crystalline pillars around the user. It was used to enhance Yūkimaru's ability to the point that he could summon the Three-Tails, although with assistance from Kabuto's medication.
Guild Description: After the needed hand seals have been performed, six large crystal obelisks—each twenty meters tall—rise from the ground in a hexagonal formation. All Chakra-based techniques used within the area marked by the obelisks is greatly increased in power. Enhancement effect lasts for six of the user’s posts.


Isshi Kōmyō [ String of Glory ]

Official Description: After using the Pressure Points of Harm and Death technique, Guren encases herself in a prism of crystal. The prism can hover in the air, but seems to be immobile. However, the prism protects her from almost any attack, as it was capable of withstanding a barrage of continuous Rasengan, only shattering in the end. In addition, this technique allows her to attack by focusing her chakra into powerful heat blasts launched through the prism's tip.
Guild Description: See official description. Heat blasts overcome any defenses up to S-Rank, and up to 4 heat blasts can be launched per activation. Requires Shishō Tenketsu [ Pressure Points of Harm and Death ] be active, sacrificing at least 320 Chakra. The barrier is treated as S-Rank in strength.


Suishō Meikyū no Jutsu [ Jade Crystal Labyrinth Technique ]

Official Description: First Guren creates a large number of crystal flowers. Then she can grow these flowers into a gigantic labyrinth consisting of red crystals. Enemies trapped inside it will mostly be lost because of the fact that the red crystals reflect their personal image as well as generates mirror images of the routes, paths, and details within the labyrinth, confusing and intimidating them. It is even capable of confusing the Byakugan because of its reflective nature.

Because of the crystal's stable molecular structure, a simple attack focused at one point is rendered useless, and its wide surface will disperse the force of wide range attacks, reducing their effectiveness. To overcome this technique, an attack that has impact force both wide and powerful is required to smash through it.
Guild Description: See official description. Labyrinth is totally enclosed and is 500 meters across and 50 meters tall. Can be destroyed only by elemental Korabo Ninjutsu of the same rank or higher, regardless of elemental components. Reflects Dōjutsu.

Yōton Knowledge:
Lava Release (熔遁; 溶遁, Yōton; Viz "Corrosion Style" or "Lava Style" ) is an advanced nature kekkei genkai that combines fire and earth-based chakra to create lava and related substances that can serve multi-faceted purposes. Lava Release ninjutsu has been known to do such actions as spitting out lava that can melt almost anything in its path. The great amount of steam generated after the lava strikes can serve as an effective smokescreen, allowing the user to attack again while the enemy is distracted. A significant amount of exposure was enough to melt even Madara Uchiha's Susanoo. Lava Release jutsus can be emitted from the mouth, or created externally.

Passive Traits:
All Yōton users must have Katon [ Fire Release ] & Doton [ Earth Release ] for their elements.
Can learn one [1] more Katon [Fire], Doton [Earth], and Youton [Lava] ninjutsu per post.
The user's lava jutsu will prefer to stay atop ground, rather than penetrate it.
Great resistance to heat, although can still be burned.


Yōton Abilities:
You Soujuu [Lava Manipulation]
Description: This control allows the Lava user to create and bend lava. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body. It should be noted that one can also manipulate naturally occurring lava. Additionally, any lava that is being freely manipulated is not very solid, and can be broken or blown away as if it were completely natural. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.

___ Rank D: Small amounts of lava [a platter].
___ Rank C: Medium amounts of lava [a table].
___ Rank B: Large amounts of lava [a floor].

Rank: D
Official Description: The user creates a rope with lava converted into a rubber-like material. It can be used to quickly withdraw an ally of the attack line, being more efficient when combined with a distraction. Good for 10 meters of relaxed rope.

Yōton: Gomu no Bougyo [ Lava Release: Rubber Defence ]
Rank: D
Description: The user creates a short tube with lava converted into a rubber-like material which can be used to guard against enemy's attacks. Can defend from simple unbladed physical attacks up to C-rank, & bladed/complex attacks up to D-rank.

Yōton: Gomudama [ Lava Release: Rubber Ball ]
Rank: C
Description: The user expels a large glob of lava from their mouth, which quickly solidifies into a hollow ball that can be used to protect an object by surrounding it with the durable rubber-like material. The properties of this substance mean that it can both absorb and dissipate the force behind a blow when struck, resulting in it either deforming or bouncing upon impact. A skilled user of this technique, such as Dodai, is capable of making it appear as if they were intending to protect an object or individual within the sphere, when in fact they merely use the ball as a distraction in order to occupy an enemy, while instead covertly withdrawing the item in question from the ball during its formation. Can defend from simple unbladed physical attacks up to B-rank, & bladed/complex attacks up to C-rank.

Yōton: Tama [ Lava Release: Lava Globs ]
Rank: C
Description: The user releases several globs of lava of various sizes at the target. The technique can also be manipulated to block doors and narrow exits using the hardening process of lava to prevent a target from escaping. 1 post until the lava cools.

Yōton: Kaibun no Yuki [ Lava Release: Ashen Cement Snow ]
Rank: B
Official Description: This is a Ninjutsu that blurs the target and the user's vision whilst causing a choking reaction, and cakes the ground with even more in a 20 meter radius. This can make the user/target feel as if they are getting weighted down if they don't break out of the immediate area somehow. 3 posts until cement hardens.


Yōton: Seishikidou [ Lava Release: Cement Ring Orbit ]
Rank: B
Official Description: A stationary orbiting technique that is used to protect the user. Liquid cement flies up from the ground and floats around the user. If the opponent attacks the cement, they will become stuck within it while it hardens. Over time the cement will harden and become rock, and fall to the ground with whatever is stuck within it. 3 posts until the cement hardens.


Yōton: Daichi Atatameru [ Lava Release: Ground Warming ]
Rank: B
Official Description: The user can heat the ground to the heat of ~150 degrees within a 20 meter radius. This can easily melt shoes and fuse them with the ground to make the target bound to the ground, or make objects easier to enflame. 5 posts until the ground cools.


Yōton: Yōkai no Jutsu [ Lava Release: Melting Apparition Technique ]
Rank: B
Official Description: The user releases a large amount of lava from their mouth, which spreads into a broad, thin sheet as it travels through the air. Since the lava is shot upwards in an arc, so as to descend onto the targets from above, it prevents the intended individuals from jumping up to avoid the attack. A great deal of steam is created afterwards by the effects of the lava, so should the targets still be alive, a follow-up attack can be conducted while their vision remains obscured. Good for a 10 meter square sheet. 1 post until it cools.


Yōton: Sekkaigyō no Jutsu [ Lava Release: Quicklime Congealing Technique ]
Rank: A
Official Description: The user expels a large quantity of quicklime from their mouth, which is capable of inflicting damage to an opponent. This ability can also be manipulated in order to restrict the intended target's movements, as after the initial blast the remnants of the substance can act in a similar manner to quick-drying cement. However, the technique requires the subsequent addition of water to set off the necessary reaction to make the substance harden. This can be easily achieved through the subsequent use of a water release technique, which can also serve to increase the area covered by the substance, thus further increasing the potential range of the technique. As a water release technique is needed to harden it, a secondary teammate is usually the preferred choice. 5 posts until it hardens.


Yōton: Cement Bunshin no Jutsu [ Lava Release: Cement Clone Technique ]

Official Description: A technique where a heavy, slow clone is created out of lava, in which it can fire off a drooping stream of fresh liquidy cement from its arms not to exceed the volume of the clone. 2 posts until cement hardens.


Yōton: Yō no Namami [ Lava Release: Lava's Living Flesh ]
Rank: A
Official Description: Can use parts of the user's flesh to turn into small bits of lava, starting with the skin. Great for suprise attacks, as a single flick can cast off a superheated fingertip. Caution: Can't use forever... you lose flesh by using this! Lava cools after 1 post.


Yōton: Gomuheki [ Lava Release: Rubber Wall ]

Official Description: The user creates an enormous torrent of lava from the ground directly in front of them, which then forms into a wall possessing immense durability due to its rubbery consistency that allows the material to deform when attacked, meaning it can both absorb and dissipate the force behind a blow rather than just simply obstruct it. This technique can also be used to provide reinforcement to a pre-existing barrier. Raiton techniques B-ranked & above may penetrate the defenses.


Yōton: Yō Hitoya [ Lava Release: Lava Prison ]
Rank: S
Official Description: The user performs various hand seals as they charge Chakra deep into the ground. Finishing with pressing the palms of the hands against the ground, fresh lava erupts from the ground as it surges, creating a large dome either around just the opponent or both the opponent and the user. Within the prison is it very hot until the lava cools, causing the ceiling to drip before it solidifies. (3 posts) When the lava cools it is very difficult to break, and is almost an inescapable prison, requiring an S-ranked attack to break out from. Usable once per battle, due to the stress upon the earth.

A Mirror Reflection - Hari Clan

Hari History Window: The Hari Clan is special clan that utilizes a special element, "Glass". Rivals of many of their elemental counterparts, this clan is calm and lays low. Depending on the Chakra amount, this clan can create Glass that is shatterproof in density. Denser Glass will have a greener tint to it, but this can be changed with added Chakra. This clan uses a combination of three Elemental Styles Earth, Wind, and Fire. The clans techniques can be created anywhere, even from their own bodies, similar to Mokuton counterpart. This technique Garasu (Glass Release) Technique, works by combining near by Sand and Wind, combining with the techniques implemented heat source, by touch, creating a glass.

Hari Reflections:
• Users have Doton [Earth] and Katon [Fire] as chakra elements.
• Can learn one [1] more Doton [Earth], Katon [Fire], and Kagamiton [Mirror] per post.
• Their techniques are usually referred to as Kagamiton [Mirror Release].
• They cannot control glass, only make it.
• Their glass is shatterproof, but that does not mean it cannot be broken. Takes a physical hit one [1] rank higher than the glass to break it, but it is susceptible to ninjutsu of equal rank.

Hari Clan Jutsu:
Garasu Bunshin (Glass Clone)
Rank - C
Utilizing it's glass creation, the Hari Clan will perform the necessary hand seals. Then a glass clone will emerge itself from the users body or touched object. When destroyed this clone will shatter into many sharp glass pieces, that can cut the enemy whom hit it.


Garasu Shuriken (Glass Shuriken)
Rank - C
The user will use his Garasu [ Glass Release ] technique to form a sharp and dense Shuriken as well as Kunai from his hand.

Garasu Shouheki no Jutsu (Glass Barrier Technique)
Rank - C
The user will perform this Ninjutsu technique by forming his necessary Hand Seals, and touching the ground in front of him. This will create a shatterproof glass wall/barrier in front of the user.

Garasu Yoroi no Jutsu(Glass Armor Technique)
Rank - B
Using his Garasu [ Glass Release ] technique, the user will form glass armor on his/her body. This armor consisting of a green tinted Chest Plate, Helmet, Grieves, Gauntlets, and boots is very dense, however after a certain amount of hits this armors durability will become useless. Chest Plate: Three Hits, Helmet: Two Hits, Grieves (Legging): Three Hits, Gauntlets: Two Hits, Boots: Two Hits.


Garasu Subeta no Jutsu (Glass Sword Technique)
Rank - B
Using the Garasu [ Glass Release ] technique, the Hari clan can form the necessary hand seals and create a dense and sharp sword from his body or object. This weapon is breakable (10 posts), though it can with stand some of the strongest attacks.


Garasu Ni-Doru no Jutsu (Glass Needles Technique)
Rank - B
Using his Glass release technique and forming the necessary hand seals. The Hari clan members can touch the ground in front of him, creating a large line of glass needles from the ground. These glass needles are very sharp and the Jutsu itself can create a line that is 10-20 yards in front of him. This is a good far range attack.


Garasu Sajiki no Jutsu (Glass Box Technique)
Rank - A
Using Glass release the Hari clan will form the necessary hand seals. If the user connects with a touch a glass box will form around that person, concealing him into a box of glass. This box is shatterproof and is very difficult to get out of. Because of the glass being concealed from air, the inside of the box will fill up with the enemies own carbon dioxide, thus suffocating him if left alone.


Garasu Chikei no Jutsu (Glass Terrain Technique)
Rank - A
Using the Hari clan's glass release technique, the user will form the necessary hand seals. The battle terrain around you and your enemy will then turn into slick and smooth glass. This terrain is very smooth and slippery, making footwork hard to control. However once the terrain has taken enough impact the class will shatter into sharp pointy shards, that can easily cut ones flesh. With the terrain smooth and slippery, the Hari clan has perfect mobility because of the familiarities he/she has with this substance.


Amegarasu Kiregire (Raining Glass Shards)
Rank - A
After forming the necessary hand seals, a cloud of wind and sand will form in the sky. With the wind and the sand violently moving within this cloud, the sand will create enough friction to create raining glass shards to fall from the sky. These shards can range from very small shard, that can easily make you itch or hurt your eyes, to very large shards that can cut the flesh with ease. This rain will continue until the user stops this Jutsu or until the Jutsu has ceased. [ Fifteen Of Your Post ]


Amekikan no Jutsu(Raining Mirrors Technique)
Rank - S
Utilizing the Amegarasu Kiregire (Raining Glass Shards), the user will form the necessary hand seals creating the clans ultimate attack. The shards will form into large mirrors, that will fall to the ground shattering. These are very large mirrors that will cause great damage when hit. The mirrors can also be used to conceal where the user is. With this ability and in the air, the reflection of the light and the user himself can greatly confuse the enemy. This does not restart the 15 posts count of the Amegarasu Kiregire (Raining Glass Shards), so what ever amount of posts are left of the Amegarasu, is how long this Jutsu will last.

___The Rokushō's History:
___Hidden away in the caves of Iwagakure, one of the locals had given birth to one of those who had been deemed for training for multiple arts. Metal crafting and shinobi. An odd combination when ti comes to the very ideals, where perfection must be expected in both fields. The child grew with speed, and the oddity began as he overtook the local business. His blades were unique, constantly changing in his grasp, and none seemed to grasp precisely how he had such a knack for creating these specialized blades. Even more so was the abilities that he had when he was on the field, his blade adjusted frequently for a variety of situations. The blade darkened and shined. At long last on his death bed, he explained it all: Oxidization and molecular bonding. The Rokushō clan began to continue further, used most frequently to support themselves, adjusting bonds within the confines of the steel blades, causing an odd adaptability rarely seen with a swordsman. Due to their ancestry in forging swords and various weapons, the clan itself has a practice. At their coming of age ceremony At the age of twelve, each child of the Rokushō line is taught the basics of the use of the oxidizing seiton element.


___Passive Traits:
• Must possess Doton [ Earth Release ] & Fuuton [ Wind Release ] elements.
• The Rokushō have a great innate talent with weapons, resulting in one [1] post reduction for all Bukijutsu.
• Is able to learn Doton [ Earth Release ], Fuuton [ Wind Release ], and Seiton one [1] post faster
• The Rokushō are comprised of mainly metal smiths, making them stronger than others of their same rank. Add a one half [1/2] point to Power.
• The Rokushō, for the same reasons, are quite used to intense heat and suffer no ill effects up to moderate heat levels.
• The word "weapon" is used liberally, as it can also be applied to a puppet (among other things), if of the proper materials.
• Coating techniques have a base duration of four [4] posts, with an upkeep equal to half [1/2] of their equivilent rank's cost to maintain those effects.
• Requires a regular supply of metals for clan jutsu to be most effective.

__Disciplines:
Rust Beast: Learning to destroy the items and weapons of others is the purpose of Seiton. Those who focus on the destructive qualities this bloodline possesses may increase the amount of Durability their techniques deal by one half [1/2] rank.

Efficient: Metal flakes are the meat and bread of Seiton, and as such it becomes exceedingly difficult to progress anywhere without somehow being able to increase the amount of high, or low, quality flakes they intake. For every three [3] points invested into this Discipline they are able to decrease the time necessary to keep the weapon on someone before it's considered "higher" quality by half [1/2]. This can be taken up to two [2] times, at which point all items used for more than ten [10] posts will garner High Quality flakes or Low Quality, as desired.

Well Oiled: While rusting, and destroying, items seems to be the name of the game for Seiton, increasing the weapons and armor of their own metallic gear is another aspect of the bloodline. Use of techniques that increase the user's equipment will have their increased by one [1] step per one [1] point of Discipline utilized. This number effects their Base Duration.

Shrapnel: While increasing the quality of flakes is always important, having a large supply can also directly aid. As such, invest one [1] point in this discipline to increase the amount of flakes created by one [1] step.


___Seiton Abilities:
Sei Soujuu [Rust Manipulation]
Description: This control allows the Rust user to bend, but not create, rust. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body. It should be noted that one can also manipulate naturally occurring rust. Additionally, any rust that is being freely manipulated is not very strong, and can be broken or blown away as if it were completely natural. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.
___ Rank E: Very small amounts of rust [a few handfuls of rust].
___ Rank D: Small amounts of rust [a small pile of rust].
___ Rank C: Medium amounts of rust [a large pile of rust].
___ Rank B: Large amounts of rust [a dumpster full].
___ Rank A: Very large amounts of rust [a small house].
___ Rank S: Massive amounts of rust [a large house].
• Requires [10] posts to learn, and must be learned before proceeding to other techniques. Receives no reductions.
• The amount of rust that can be controlled is limited to the user's experience rank limit [at E-rank can make up to C-rank, D-rank up to B-rank, etc.]
• Freely manipulated rust creations are fragile, losing any modifiers, and are beaten by techniques of the same rank.

Haijin [ Ashes and Dust ]
Rank: E
Official Description: The user throws a handful of low quality metal flakes into the enemy's eyes, making it appear as if the user breaks down into flakes of rust, disappearing on the wind.
Guild Description: See official description. Works akin to a Kawarimi, but simply causes the mere reflect of light away from the user. Lasts for 1 post.


Sei Shūha [ Rust Wave ]
Rank: D
Official Description: The name is quite contrary to the actual technique, in which the user will grasp a hold of a number of shuriken, and toss them off after imbuing them with their seiton element. Though it's quite easy to tell they are coming, the projectiles themselves are covered by the clouds of rust flakes falling about, obscuring their locations.
Guild Description: See official description. This produces only low quality flakes, but in great numbers.


[ Flimsy Objects ]
Rank: D
Official Description: Extending one's chakra into their rust flakes, and through a held object, weapon, etc, one can lace the insides of the grasped object with rust. This act weakens the object to such a state that it acts like rubber as the flakes peel away from it.
Guild Description: Using 1 object's worth of high quality rust flakes instead of the normal low quality ones extends the rusting out to objects that come into contact with the grasped, rubbery one. If the ones contacted do so for more than 2 posts, high quality flakes will begin to drop from it.


[ Exploding Rust Clone ]
Rank: D
Official Description: A simple clone made from rust flakes blown into the wind. It will keep its form long enough to track down its prey, whereupon it will detonate, sending its flakes careening as far as the winds will take them.
Guild Description: Affected objects will rust away to higher quality flakes in greater quantities at the end of the object(s)' 4th post.


Konji [ Dark Blue Ground ]
Rank: C
Official Description: The Rokushō apprentice begins learning with a way to cover a fundamental flaw in the bukijutsu user's combat and the natural conductivity of a weapon of steel. Utilizing some of the metal they keep on their person, they coat their blade with an obviously dark blue layer that increases the length of the weapon considerably. Composed to reduce the effectiveness of raiton techniques by one rank.
Guild Description: Lasts for 3 posts. Acts like a lightning rod for lightning and Raiton techniques, but it does not negate the effects. Usable thrice per battle. Using 1 weapon's worth of high quality rust flakes instead of normal low quality ones reduces the effectiveness down by two ranks, but it also requires maintaining physical contact with the object to do so.


Suimo [ Weaken & Decline ]
Rank: C
Official Description: In the midst of combat, the user will set aside the safety of their blade to catch the enemy's, their blood will seep onto the blade, dramatically oxidizing the steel, dulling the edges, & reducing their weapon's capabilities greatly.
Guild Description: For all intents and purposes, treat non-chakra-coated Bukijutsu as a rank lower in ability after affected. Can be negated simply by tossing the weapon away and getting another one.


[ Rust Dragon's Roar ]
Rank: C
Official Description: Rust flakes in the wind, blown from the user's mouth. Covers a wide spread area in a thin veil, making it easier to find available metals, and to start the rusting effect from far, far away with great stealth. Affect objects can be 'told' to rust within 4 posts of doing so, causing the rust to make them brittle within another 4 posts.
Guild Description: Requires 2 objects' worth of high quality rust flakes, and affects at minimally a city district sized area.


Danzetsu [ Break Off ]
Rank: B
Official Description: Utilizing excess metals, the user will settle a brittle coating upon their weapon. When met with resistance, it triggers a visual Henge, making it appear as if the weapon has broken. In addition, contact with the object by anything other than the user will 'break off' pieces of the brittle coating, typically causing rough coughing to those that breathe it in, the user included.
Guild Description: Lasts for 10 posts. Use of 1 weapon's worth of high quality rust flakes will allow for the affected object to take on the visual properties of a legendary weapon. (though in a rusty, broken state)


Sentan Kidō [ Spearhead Railroad Tracks ]
Rank: B
Official Description: The user makes use of a trail of metals--usually steel wire due to costly trails of iron lumps being so pricey--in which the user will rust the line. Rusting the entire length, with a secondary purpose, these flakes will congregate at fixed points and spear upward in an attempt to skewer the foe.
Guild Description: Use of 1 weapon's worth of high quality rust flakes will allow for the affected objects to sprout smaller spears from the main spears, and even smaller spears from those, causing a sort of massively spiked tree to emit instead of the normal spear.


Matsuru [ Deify ]
Rank: A
Official Description: The user builds upon the basis that the Rokushō established for enhancing their own blade. A new corrosive coating is placed upon their held object, augmenting it with a known Doton or Fuuton technique. Any strike to the object, or with the object, will set off the held technique as the object instantly implodes from massive rusting.
Guild Description: Doton/Fuuton added to the blade requires their chakra costs and prerequisites. Lasts for 3 posts or the condition set above.


Shiage [ Finishing Touch ]
Rank: A
Official Description: Catching the enemy's weapon with their own, the user pumps their chakra into the enemy's weapon, embedding into it the accelerated rate of oxidization. Over the next several posts (2), the weapon begins to corrode and break away. Often an unused tactic, due to the user's need to put themselves in harm's way.
Guild Description: Does not affect custom weapons, but does affect metallic weapons with B-rank or less chakra within them.


Chacha [ Disruption ]
Rank: S
Official Description: The user makes use of all the metals within their touch. Steel wire, kunai, shuriken. Anything they can, to create a large quantity of the low quality rust flakes, as they are whipped up in a frenzy, creating a dust storm of sorts. Counter attack is difficult, however, for the visibility is greatly reduced. High quality rust flakes may be added to cause external effects as well.
Guild Description: This sacrifices all of the user's worn or held metal, to produce a low quality but high amount of, rust flakes. Ingested flakes will cause choking, internal lacerations, and general suffocation. Long lasting effects (if they survive breathing this stuff in), requires a tetanus shot. The external effects from using at least 1 object's worth of high quality rust flakes includes a scintillating, strobe light effect from reflecting available light sources.


Kōsotsu [ Armored Warrior ]
Rank: S+
Official Description: Gathering their arms, much like with the technique Chacha, the user gathers their chakra and releases a massive wave of corrosive rust flakes onto steel within the area. Rather than summon up "dust storms", the user draws the materials near to their flesh, creating a material wall between themselves and the enemy. The user may utilize the shavings of rust to form weapons of surprising durability and impress various bloodline abilities on a higher scale during the time in which this is active.
Guild Description: This jutsu, once activated, cannot be deactivated until the chakra cost would otherwise kill the user. In addition to being able to move the affected objects around at will, all other clan jutsu are able to be cast at two less ranks in chakra. Movement speed of affected objects is of Konin. Affected area is of 30 meters. Requires 5 rusted objects worth of high quality flakes.

The Yashi Clan

___Lore:
Just as the Uzumaki clan are close relatives to the Senju, The Yashi clan originated as a collection of Senju who did not adopt the belief of Ninshū and for the most part did not have any desire to remain in Konoha during its habitation and founding. Still the signs of their heritage are present in their larger chakra reserve, the clan from then on functioned independently focusing on the sole tenant of nature itself. In a sense as hard as these ancestors tried to distance themselves from Ninshū the concept of sage and sage chakra was still heavily present. Because of their desire and way of life that favored isolation it would be no surprise that members of the Yashi Clan were to a degree far more primitive and far more tribal than the actual Senju themselves.

The Yashi Clan seems small in size. Comparable to the Shinsetsu in the sense that its members are few and scarce. However, it can be said that multiple Yashi Clan's could have been spread to different islands as there is naturally no record of which Senju's went where. As the years ticked away the Yashi's clan isolation took greater effects on what they became today. Due to typical shortages of food to support one another, as they typically bred often due to sickness and dying young being common, the Yashi focused more on the foliage and fruit bearing abilities of their capabilities. Suffice to say one can't eat wood. Eventually the entirety of [Wood Release] became nil among the Yashi clan. Instead they would be able to grow grasses, fruits, and the like. Their abilities of wood manipulation only extending as far as making the thin branches of a berry bush.

The Yashi Clan however, had more than just their way of life to blame for their shortened life spans. Like all things in life there is a balance. The ability to say create sustainable food sources with ones chakra was indeed a power to behold but it had an unknown cost. Which still remains unknown to this day.
Perhaps it is this cost that had Senju stick to primarily wooden constructs.Producing anything that could be considered consumable nutrition using ones chakra shaves off some of the Yashi clan's overall life span. As essentially to give life one most lose life in an equivalent echange.


___Passive Traits:
• Jutsu are referred to as Kōjōton [Plant Release].
• Users have Suiton [Water] and Doton [Earth] as chakra elements.
• Can learn Suiton [Water], Doton [Earth], and Kōjōton [Plant] ninjutsu one [1] post faster.
• Kōjōton users can produce sustainable food sources from their Chakra in exchange for decreasing their life span by the typical amount of time it would take to grow said sustainable food source.
• Kōjōton techniques are weak to [Ice] OR [Fire] techniques and are overpowered by said techniques of the same rank. Kōjōton with high water contents are resistant to flames but weak to ice. Kōjōton with low water contents are resistant to ice but weak to flames. This is determined by Vegetation type
• Kōjōton cannot be used with wood, and only can be utilized to create vegetation and vegetation alone.
• All Kōjōton users have access to the General Vegetation. When creating a character members of this bloodline must select one additional [1] Vegetation type that they may specialize in. Disciplines will allow this number to increase, and a Greater Personal Attribute may be utilized to bestow one [1] additional Vegetation Type.

Wellspring of Chakra: Gain an additional twenty-five [25] Chakra Points to the total pool the character has per Discipline Point invested.

Arboreal: When in contact with natural vegetative surfaces the user is more acclimated. While surrounded by natural vegetation, those with this discipline will recover chakra and stamina at twice [2] the normal rate. This will increase by one [1] multiple per one [1] Discipline Point, this only applies to complete surrounding of natural vegetation i.e a jungle not a meadow, tall body high grasses, not a lawn.

Greener Pastures: For every [3] Discipline points invested the Kōjōton gains access to an additional form of vegetation they have access to.

Bumper Crop: For every [1] Discipline point invested the amount of [Sustainable] crop yield per life span sacrifice increases by [1] step (i.e. 3-5 yield becomes a 6-10 yield). This will increase by [1] multiple per discipline point (6-10 would become 12-20 etc.).

Poisonous: All Vegetation that falls under the classification of a natural hazard. It is to be noted that the user them self is NOT immune to the hazards the particular vegetation produces. For intents and purposes follow the guidelines for hazards. This category however does NOT include fungi. [Weakness: Ice]

Fungal: All Vegetation that falls under the classification of Fungal. This can include but is not limited to mushrooms, spores, and mold. If the particular fungus is considered a hazard follow the guidelines for hazards. Additionally the user is NOT immune to the hazards produced by the fungi. For edible fungi follow the rules seen in the Sustainable Vegetation Category. [Weakness: Fire]

Sustainable: Vegetation that commonly falls under the classification of edible and nutritional. Note the option to create sustainable vegetation is still possible without shaving off one's life span however, it will provide no nutritional value. Tomatoes, carrots, apples, and fruits are some examples of the sustainable category. For every average harvest of food or vegetable made with chakra. The lifespan of the individual is cut based on that foods growth time. As an example a normal potato crop will yield 3-5 potatoes in 70 days. Another example is the average amount of bananas found in a bunch. Singular fruits i.e oranges apples are considered 3-5 per harvest. As a result of creating these instantaneously through means of chakra the user sacrifices 70 days worth of their lifespan. If the crop was made using one's life span one can indeed use it to plant and create more crops naturally. If the conditions are right of course. [Weakness: Ice]

General: General Vegetation falls under the category of brambles, grasses, vines, thorns, weeds, seeds, and leafs. All Yashi Clan members have this vegetation type by default. While not the most dangerous outright it is the most versatile of the vegetation allowing for the easiest manipulations and are the quickest to grow. If this vegetation is selected a second time, whenever it is used with Kōjōton. it is treated to take a half [.5] rank less chakra to grow and use for techniques. If selected thrice, cost will be reduced by one [1] rank. [Weakness: Fire]

Description:

The requirements for hand signs can instead be replaced by having ones hand or hands firmly placed on the ground.
