Kaguya Historical Record:
Shikotsumyaku (屍骨脈; Literally meaning "Dead Bone Pulse", Meaning (Viz) "Macabre Bone Pulse") is the kekkei genkai of the extinct Kaguya clan, which gave them the ability to manipulate their own skeletal structure (their osteoblasts and osteoclasts). By infusing their calcium with chakra, they could manipulate the growth and properties of their bones to their liking. The ability seems to be rare amongst the clan members, as Kimimaro is the only known user even prior to his clan being eradicated. Apparently, this ability gives the user a unique skeletal structure, as when Kimimaro was fatally ill, Kabuto Yakushi claimed there had been too little information on his body to give any medical treatment. After integrating Kimimaro's DNA into himself, Kabuto was able to gain access to this kekkei genkai which he uses through a doppelgänger of Kimimaro, which emerges from the base of his navel snake. The main capabilities of Shikotsumyaku is allowing the user to manipulate the speed of their bones' growth as well as the location of calcium deposits. This allows them to create weapons of bones that can either protrude from any part of the body, or pulled out and used like hand held weapons. The user was also able to create armor of dense bone underneath their skin. Immediately after the bone is pulled out, the broken skin heals. Although it seems it takes a bit longer for the limb to become usable again or unless the user regrows the bones consciously. They can even fire pieces of their bones as long-ranged projectiles. Any bone that they remove from the body immediately regenerates, as does the skin that is damaged when the bones are removed. Users can increase the density of the created bones, making them stronger than steel. This not only makes the created weapons very powerful, but also makes their bodies virtually indestructible; the bones can withstand even a chakra-infused blade, which is usually enough to cut through anything. The bones structure can also be hollowed out completely as shown by the copy of Kimimaro which Kabuto had create a makeshift flute during his battle with the Uchiha brothers. From what the two known users of this ability, Kimimaro and Kabuto, have shown, most of the techniques are named after flowers. Most of them are also taijutsu-based sword dances, which are used for close combat and defense. However, as Kimimaro demonstrated, the bones can also grow quite a large volume, and likely grow from each other, as a form of a ninjutsu, and that he can emerge from any of these bones. Orochimaru coveted this ability greatly, stating the kekkei genkai granted the user an impenetrable skeletal frame, which can resist any type of physical attack. In addition, should a Shikotsumyaku user ever go on the offensive, they could instantly turn their bones into the sharpest spear. Overall, the Shikotsumyaku is considered to be the ultimate taijutsu ability, which is held in high regard.


Passive Traits:
• Can learn one [1] Taijutsu or Bukijutsu per post.
• The Bones of a Kaguya are harder to cut than the average bones. As such, the bones take one [1] rank less damage from slashing or edged weapons. Weapons that do blunt damage, and all spiritual or complex attacks, are not effected in this way.
• Typically have incredibly high pain tolerance, although this is not required.
• Kaguya may choose Hone Soujuu [Bone Manipulation] as their starting technique.

Kaguya Abilities:
Hone Soujuu [Bone Manipulation]
Description: This control allows the Kaguya to create and bend existing bone as though it were their own. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body. It should be noted that one can only manipulate the bone they themselves have made. Additionally, any bone that is being freely manipulated is not very strong, and can be broken or blown away as if it were completely natural. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.
___ Rank E: Very small amount of bone [a finger].
___ Rank D: Small amount of bone [a hand].
___ Rank C: Medium amount of bone [a torso].
___ Rank B: Large amount of bone [a body].
___ Rank A: Very large amount of bone [an elephant].
___ Rank S: Massive amount of bone [a whale].
• Requires [5] posts to learn, and must be learned before proceeding to other techniques. Receives no reductions.
• The amount of bone that can be created is limited to the user's experience rank limit [at E-rank can make up to C-rank, D-rank up to B-rank, etc.]
• Freely manipulated bone is fragile, losing any durability bonuses and resistances in exchange for flexibility. Bone manipulated with this ability has a durability of [5].

Kaguya Techniques:
Teshi Sendan [Ten Finger Drilling Bullets]

Speed: D
Description: Hardened bones from the fingertips are shot at the enemy, with a spinning motion added to the skeletal bullets. A direct hit will excavate skin, flesh, and bone. Since the bones of the user can be regenerated, the rate of fire from the user's arsenal is limitless. This technique is essential to a Kaguya for long distance attacks. Ninjutsu reductions apply to this technique.

Yanagi no Mai [ Dance of the Willow ]
Rank: C (Complex)
The first of Kimimaro's five dances. To perform this dance, Kimimaro grows several long bone blades from his body for use as weapons. There isn't any set form for the Willow Dance. Just like a willow that is shaken by the wind, the opponents attacks are simply parried and countered. Uncharacteristic of a willow, the hardened bones puncture and damage the opponents body. Though he primarily uses two blades grown from the palms of his hands, he also uses several secondary bones grown from his elbows, knees, and shoulders. This dance form is incredibly acrobatic, using spins, charges, and long sweeping slashes to make the strikes more effective and to evade opponents' counter strikes. Kimimaro can also extend his bones to attack his opponents without having to adjust his own movement.

Tsubaki no Mai [ Dance of the Camellia ]
Rank: C (Complex)
The second of Kimimaro's five dances, which he performs by modifying one of his upper arm bones to create a short, bone-hilted bone sword. He then stabs chaotically and continuously which causes the opponents eyes to lag behind. The speed resembles afterimages, the hand with the sword is again and again visibly projected. And yet the movement is irregular which makes it difficult to predict. With each thrust the sword's track is very capable of changing. The attack comes from unexpected angles, causing a person's delicate defense reaction to come off guard. Though one can have great reflexes and moving ability, it is next to impossible to keep dodging the fierce attack until it stops. Thus if one showed an opening, a finishing blow will be dealt by one stab in an instant.

Karamatsu no Mai [ Dance of the Larch ]
Rank: C (Complex)
The third of Kimimaro's five dances. From the body, several bones pop out all at once. The stronger the opponent's physical attack, the more powerful the counter attack is, dealing severe damage. The sudden defense, combined with the needle-like bones high killing ability, makes way for a technique which potential his high for battle. The bones can be used to block or trap an opponent's strikes. In addition to being an unwelcome surprise for opponents, it makes him basically untouchable at close range. If an opponent would start to get close to him, he would start to spin rapidly slashing the foe in multiple areas of their body.

Tessenka no Mai [ Dance of the Clematis ]
Rank: B (Complex)
Tessenka no Mai is a form of Taijutsu developed by Kimimaro to take advantage of his cursed seal and bloodline ability. It is the fourth of five dance forms. He performs it after activating his level two cursed seal form, though a C-rank version is possible without doing so. The following two taijutsu are possible during this:


Tessenka no Mai • Tsuru [ Dance of the Clematis • Vine ]
The first half of Kimimaro's fourth dance. With the Shikotsumyaku, Kimimaro can modify and pull out his own spinal column, and regrow a new spine to replace it. Between the bones in the gaps there is cartilage that allows flexibility, which makes it possible to bend it as if it were a whip. With average estimation skills along with the impossible range it stretches, dodging is difficult. The protrusions on the vertebrae are modified to make them stronger and sharper. He would follow up with Dance of the Clematis: Flower to pierce the immobilized opponent.


Tessenka no Mai • Hana [ Dance of the Clematis • Flower ]
This technique is the second half of Kimimaro's fourth dance. To obtain the strongest-absolute hardest weapon a considerable amount of chakra is needed. Enhanced to the highest degree-maximum solidity due to the dense compression, the bone weapon is exceedingly large. Since its destructive power has no meaning if the blow does not connect with the opponent, Kimimaro first binds the opponent with a "vine". This weapon's not subject to being cut or sliced off by either normal blades or chakra steel within complex/spiritual bukijutsu, A-ranked or under.


Kaguya Ninjutsu:
Sawarabi no Mai [ Dance of the Young Ferns ]
Rank: B
Sawarabi no Mai is the fifth of five dance forms. After activating the level two cursed seal form, Kimimaro quickly grows a multitude of tall spikes from his body to create a large forest of bone. While in this form he himself can merge into the bone trees to attack his target from whichever spike he wants. Also: The last of Kimimaro's five dances. Countless bones rise from underground, which can be as many as thousands, up to the tens of thousands. The blades of bone indiscriminately slaughter whoever stands on the ground's surface. Furthermore, if this fails to bring down his foe, Kimimaro can become one with the bones, which in turn can allow him to attack an enemy unnoticed. Out of all the techniques shown through the Shikotsumyaku abilities, this dance is the only one that is ninjutsu, rather than a taijutsu.
Can be used without the level two cursed seal form, but the forest is now considered small, numbering only in the hundreds. Merging with the forest takes a C-ranked amount of chakra per post, outside of the level two cursed seal form. Those within the level two cursed seal form do not have a merging cost.


Gaikotsu no Hakui no Mai [ Dance of the Skeleton's Robes ]
Rank: A
Forming several hand signs, the user is able to form a bone cloak over them, similarly to the way bijuu form theirs. If witnessed themselves, the user will be able to exactly mimic the forms the bijuu put out as well. Unlike forming weapons and such, these bones are still considered living, and can have other Shikotsumyaku jutsu emit from them. The cloak formed must remain attached, and they will drain a C-ranked amount of chakra per post as an upkeep cost. Is considered 'supplementary' after the first post. Those within the level two curse seal form also gain a bonus to their bone's flexibility, increasing the amounts of cartilage so that the cloak is highly usable.


Obon no Mai [ Dance of the Festival of the Dead ]
Rank: A
Mostly usable only when in an area filled with quite a number of the dead, human or otherwise, the user will follow several hand signs with extending a bone sprout into the ground. At a rate of 3 bodies per post, this jutsu will raise any of the dead around the user to fight for them as simple zombies, incapable of further jutsu usage but made sturdier due to the Shikotsumyaku within them. Beyond 3 bodies, the 4-6th bodies lose their complex/spiritual resilience, and any 7+ will lose their simple buki resilience. An upkeep cost of B-rank will apply to all those in the 1-3, C-rank for the 4-6, and only a D-rank for those in the 7+. Those within the level two curse seal form also gain a bonus to their controlled bodies: 1st-6th lower their upkeep to C-rank, 7-12th is D-rank, 13+ is E-rank, 4-6th gain the complex/spiritual resilience, and 7-12th gain simple buki resilience. (13+ lose all resilience still)


Nyuushin Bunshin no Mai [ Dance of the Inspirational Clone ]
Rank: S
After forming a one-handed hand sign, the user will step in any direction, leaving a full, separate clone of the user's entire skeletal system. This clone will mirror and mimic all actions that the user takes, but is capable of taking specific, oral directions. All chakra is shared in a pool between the two, so that if the clone performs a jutsu, the chakra is drained from the user accordingly. Those within the level two curse seal form also gain a bonus to their bone's durability, raising the complex/spiritual to A-rank and under.


Shikotsumyaku no Mai [ Dance of the Dead Bone Pulse ]
Rank: S
After forming a one-handed hand sign, the user will thrust their arms outwards, depositing all natural chakra in the area (up to 5 meters) to a bone state. Beyond 5 meters, long spikes will form from the bone sphere, extending in the direction of the target(s). Each post after the first (for a total of 11 posts), an additional spike will extend off of either the original spike, or the sphere, depending on whether the target(s) is closer to one or the other. Those caught within the initial deposition will remain trapped until they die from suffocation (5 posts), or the user gives them air holes to breathe through. (though they remain physically trapped until the technique ends) Those within the level two curse seal form also gain a bonus to their bone's durability, raising the complex/spiritual to S-rank and under.

The Paper Arts - Origami no Dara [Under Construction]

Origami History:
This Kekkai Genkai has just recently shown itself amongst the villages. It is known to be only in the Konan family.This bloodline gives the user control of paper. They can shift, move, and control the shape and density of paper. This does become stronger over time, training, and rank. Children, usually Gennin and academy students can only make small things using the paper, such as shuriken, or knives as sharp as razors. Full adults such as Chuunin or Jounin can disperse themselves into paper, or turn themselves into paper butterfly's to escape battle. They also can make bomb tags.

Passive Traits:
• Can learn Fuuinjutsu and Origami techniques one [1] post faster.
• Against regular, white paper, Doton [Earth] and Fuuton [Wind] techniques are a half rank [.5] weaker against Shouton techniques.
• Against regular, white paper, Katon [Fire], Raiton [Lightning], and Suiton [Water] techniques are a half rank [.5] stronger against Shouton techniques.
• Origami no Dara members may choose Kami Soujuu [Paper Manipulation] as their starting technique.

Hot off the Press: While Origami no Dara members have natural resistances to the elements that they possess depending on the colors of their paper, this does not help them much for elemental attacks outside of those elements. As such, for each Discipline Point expended, the clan member may choose another color of paper from the list of types that they can create.

Color Specialist: Naturally, techniques used against an associated color of paper act as a half [.5] rank weaker. This discipline amplifies that. For each Discipline Point expended, one color of choice gains another half [.5] rank of resistance against the associated techniques.

Off the Shelves: Even with their abilities, clan members can only produce so much paper at once, which can become costly rather quickly. Each Discipline Point invested increases the yield of [Kami Soujuu] by one [1] step.

Effect:Charging a Minuscule amount of Chakra,The user can use it’s crumpling Effect to fold paper into any shape they desire,the more paper and chakra available the stronger it will become.


Kami Bunshin no Jutsu [Paper Clone Technique]

Speed: D
Description: Using their ability to manipulate paper, the user will form a clone made up of numerous sheets. Because it is made up of many lesser parts, the clone can disperse and reform without ending its existence, making it difficult to hit with a physical attack. It has a D-rank dodge bonus, and can take three [3] physical hits up to D-rank before the paper can no longer reform. When destroyed by a physical attack or dispersed by the user, the clone creates a brief but distracting screen of paper.

Kami Shuriken [Paper Shuriken]

Speed: D
Description: Using chakra, the user will form their paper into bird-like shapes. These can then be controlled as a group to attack a target, striking and cutting as if covered in small blades. While this technique is always considered D-rank in Strength and Speed, the user can use a Fuuton technique without an additional activation to add "punch" to the thrown shuriken, possibly even launching them with deadly force behind them. A Fuuton technique used in this manner stacks with the shuriken, adding to the attacks speed and strength. Five [5] shuriken can be created at E-rank, and each rank doubles from there (10 at D, 20 at C, etc).

Chou Tokkoutai [Butterfly Kamikaze Unit]

Strength: C
Speed: C
Description: The user directs their paper to fold into a small swarm of butterflies, and marks any one opponent that they can see. These butterflies can then track and follow the marked opponent for up to two [2] posts. At any point during the technique, or once the butterflies are within five [5] feet of the opponent, they crumple further into paper shuriken, which are as sharp as any standard shuriken. Once activated, the shuriken will dive bomb the marked opponent, dispersing once contact is made--regardless of whether with the opponent or the ground. Assuming the paper is not destroyed, it can be reused.

Chou Tokkoutai ll [Butterfly Kamikaze Unit II]

Almost the same as the first, except that the paper used is composed of detonation tags. They will attach themselves to a target, and detonate, destroying themselves, but severely damaging the enemy.


Kami Hitoku [Paper Concealment]
Rank - B
The users folds their body flat on the ground becoming highly undetectable and very covert.


Shikigami no Mai [Paper Style Dancing]
Rank - A
Using their high origami and ninjutsu skills, the user will turn their body into many sheets of paper. This paper can create feathers for floating. They can then be launched at their target as dagger-like projectiles. They can also form paper spears for attack and turn into butterflies or paper airplanes for quick transport.


Kami Jisatsu [Paper Suicide]
Rank - S (Uses all Chakra)
In a final act of desperation, the user releases their entire amount of paper to surround an opponent. The paper is revealed to be almost entirely explosive tags, almost 10 thousand, and all detonate simultaneously.
Restriction: Must spend at least 10 posts, 2-3 sentences each, preparing the tags.

___Ancient Past:
Originating from the Tea Country's Hide family, famed for what is colloquially called the "Kihakugan" or "Soul Eye," the Raigyo members were born to use the beauty of the land against the shinobi of the world. From time to time it is said that one shinobi out of a group would be born into a beauty that would possess even the most evil of hearts, and thus the clan formed. Formed from beautiful members, both male and female, the shinobi of the Raigyo clan spaced out amongst the villages of the world and sought to bring their abilities into the world's eyes. Their mastery of the human emotions allowed them to be skillfull in genjutsu of all kinds and ninjutsu in various elements. Through the use of their abilities and skills, they have been known to be the sirens of the time, as the ancients have said, "...That once caught in their seductive jutsu, one would be lost forever." The ability to control emotions stems from their special dojutsu and flower/petal combination. As the dojutsu activates, it infiltrates its target's chakra and tenketsu akin to the way Genjutsu works. Unlike Genjutsu, it merely provides a pathway to make use of the pheromones and scents carried upon the flowers and petals in the area. In this way, the dojutsu acts more like a Ninjutsu, forcing people to accept what is in the atmosphere, at a higher reaction than normal.


___Passive Traits:• Users have Fuuton [Wind] as one [1] of their elements.
• Can learn Fuuton [Wind] ninjutsu one [1] post faster.
• Have a natural weakness to Katon [Fire].
• Users have vibrant pink or purple colored eyes, with flower shaped pupils.
• Any techniques involving flowers may be listed under the Clan Techniques heading.
• Their emotive moves are more effective against the opposite gender, increasing the strength of them in these situations by a half [.5] rank.
• Flowers are required to use their emotive techniques. Destroying the flowers reduces the technique’s effectiveness by one [1] full rank.
• Like all Doujutsu, this Doujutsu is locked from progression by an in-character story arc. Until this is unlocked, progression cannot continue.

___Raigyo Emotives:
Eizou Kihaku no Jutsu [ The Art of Reflecting the Soul ]
E
This is the most-well recognized Jutsu of the Raigyo clan, as this allows the user to read and potentially 'borrow' another's emotions, without the use of a medium.
• No medium required.


Touei Kihaku no Jutsu [ The Art of Projecting the Soul ]
D
This is the second Jutsu connected with the Raigyo, which does the opposite of the Eizou Kihaku, allowing a user to 'force' their own emotions temporarily upon others, via the medium. It is enough to bring tears to the eyes, make one smile or laugh, and make one growl or throw a tantrum.
• These are simple emotions, and not capable of doing much.
• Double casting this allows for complex emotions, such as happy/sad, angry/confused, etc.
• Requires a medium.


Hirogeru Kihaku no Jutsu [ The Art of Expanding the Soul ]
C
Allows the user to expand the area that his/her learned Bloodline Jutsu can effect by singing with the emotion of hope, imbuing the Chakra of the techniques through the voice and into naturally occurring, unaffected flowers. This is usable mainly as a way to affect people at very long distances, where the normal Hanajutsu would be useless in helping the emotives work. By doing this, all of those within hearing range of the new medium become affected by any of the Kihakugan’s techniques, regardless of whether or not they are friend or foe. The major downside to this technique is that singing easily allows for hostile forces to locate the user, so we advise that the user not perform it in close range.
• Requires a medium: natural flowers.
• Is only able to be used in Korabo with other emotives.


Joushou Mizu no Jutsu [ Rising Water Technique ]
C
A skilled user can simulate the real feeling of drowning, through the usage of the medium. This Jutsu feeds off of the fear of death and drowning, making those already susceptible to them even more so. It instantly cancels at the point of death, making it ineffective for killing, but for those with the fears, it is great for putting them into an unconscious state. Using this jutsu on friendlies is an immediate breach of honor and trust. Genjutsu usage is advised while using this jutsu.
• Has three times the stated ability on those with the fears of drowning or dying.
• Other fears can be simulated, but at the stated ability's level.
• Requires a medium.


Kujiku Kihaku no Jutsu [ The Art of Crushing the Soul ]
C
Intensifies the target(s) own emotions greatly, “condensing” them in to a small ball focused in the heart and mind of the target that prevents him or her from acting based on anything other than emotion while in battle.
• Requires a medium.


Shimeru Kihaku no Jutsu [ The Art of Strangling the Soul ]
C
Causes the target to lack all emotion for the duration of the jutsu. While this is seen as a benefit to enemies, this is typically used as a last-resort move on allies to rid them of their fear; however, if this technique is used for longer than eight posts, the target gradually loses consciousness, and their emotional capacity begins to shrink until, at around the fifteenth post, they are driven to suicidal thoughts because they believe their life is devoid of any meaning.
• Requires a medium.


Kihaku Kouin no Jutsu [ The Art Seducing the Soul ]

The Raigyo clansmen are known for their seductive ways, in which this technique fully utilizes this important aspect in their lives. By releasing a pheromone into the air around them, via the flowers, the members of the clan can try to seduce an opponent and cause them to be in a state of intense infatuation. This state of infatuation will attempt to cause the victim to do what the user wishes, but will only last for as long as either the jutsu is active, or there are complete flowers remaining. If the user can form a good, stable relationship using this jutsu, the target(s) will remain loyal beyond the dropping of the jutsu.
• Requires a medium: flowers. (10 of them, minimally)


Mattou Kihaku no Jutsu [ The Art of Fulfilling the Soul ]

Lowers a target’s emotional barriers, allowing them to truly open up their life to someone. This includes animals, plant life, fungi, etc. Euphoria is a common occurrence with this jutsu, as target(s) will feel in love with everything.
• Requires a medium: flowers.


Naosu Kihaku no Jutsu [ The Art of Healing the Soul ]
B
A stronger version of The Art of Reflecting the Soul, this one takes on the full emotions of the target, relieving them of any emotional pain. Drawn away from the world in that state, the target will be afforded a quicker healing rate, approaching nearly a tripled--but natural--healing rate. If not managed properly, the emotions gained from such a Jutsu will overwhelm the user.
• No medium required.
• Rapid healing isn't enough for in-battle usage.


Torishimaru Kihaku no Jutsu [ The Art of Controlling the Soul ]
B
A stronger version of The Art of Projecting the Soul. However, this Jutsu adds the effect of persuading the target(s) to thinking that activating or continuing the use of any of their Jutsu would be a bad idea. (i.e. a feeling of dread, impending doom, etc)
• Requires a medium.


Meshidasu Kihaku no Jutsu [ The Art of Feeling the Soul ]
A
Copying the target's emotions over to the user, the user performs the Kuchiyose no Jutsu with the target's signature. If the target has a summoning, it will be called out instead of the user's, and will be used by the user unless told to do so otherwise. Usage of Henge no Jutsu is advised. 3 emotional signatures can be stored at a time, with each signature requiring the full A-ranked chakra amount to change between them.
• Requires a medium.
• Requires the target's blood.


Sawaru Kihaku no Jutsu [ The Art of Calling the Soul ]
A
Used on inanimate objects mostly, The Art of Calling the Soul 'reads' the object being touched for emotional signatures left behind. An example would be an Oinin tracking a missing-nin through a very complicated jungle forest. Only the trees that were touched by the missing-nin would have a signature, thus allowing the Oinin to track them. Whiplash effect: If the signature was too strong, confusion sets in, and the object can't be read again with any success for 3 posts. 'Too strong' refers to such things as extreme acts of hatred, love, etc.
• Requires physical contact with the object being read
• A.N.B.U. can use this only within the village, for a B-ranked cost.
• Oinin can use this only outside of the village, and with only 1 post of any whiplash.


Dekishi no Kihaku no Sousaku no Jutsu [ The Art of Searching the Drowning Soul ]

Used mainly for interrogation, this jutsu makes telling the truth or correcting a lie the most desirable action at that point. As questions are asked, potentially aided by the Rising Water technique, the user uses their suave abilities to determine whether or not the target is telling the truth. This requires forming an emotional bond, so using the Water Rising technique past the point at which a person can breathe normally is not advised. This technique takes a strong mind to break it, and can only be dispersed through the infliction of pure, unbridled pain, if the user ceases to use the technique, or the medium is destroyed.
• Requires a medium.
• A.N.B.U. only, within the village.
• Oinin only, outside the village.


Ueru Kihaku no Jutsu [ The Art of Planting the Soul ]

At this level, the user's eyes have taken on an airy, hazy look, and the user can change the emotions of many things in a small area through their medium. In history, many Kings/Pharaoh/Presidents have been noted in being able to control the mood of a gathering simply by the way they breathe: this is different only in the medium used.
• Requires a medium.
• Emotions available are relegated to simples such as hate, love, sadness, confusion.
• Double casting this allows for complex emotions, such as confusion/sadness, happiness/hate, etc.


Sainamu Kihaku no Jutsu [ The Art of Tormenting the Soul ]

A much stronger and more generalized version of the Joushou Mizu no Jutsu [ Rising Water Technique ], this technique (for an instant) erases all emotions in the target(s) other than that of fear. This produces a state of utter paranoia in which everything becomes a part of the target(s) fears. This jutsu does not distinguish between friend or foe, and lasts for 5 complete posts.
• Requires a medium: 40 flowers minimally.


Utsuro Kihaku no Jutsu [ The Art of Emptying the Soul ]
S
This jutsu allows one to drain their entire life's emotions out into the medium in exchange for temporarily doubling their stamina pool. Some cases exhibit a loss of friend/foe distinction, skin paling, or strange markings forming around the eyes, so please use caution when performing this jutsu! All feelings and emotions that collect out within the medium provide a figurative vortex of volatiles that will attach to anyone within its reach.
• Kage only.
• Requires a medium.
• The Stamina Pool is temporarily doubled and filled. (usable once per fight)
• Distinction between friend and foe is nullified.
• Lasts until the Stamina Pool reaches 10% of the original pool.


Kihaku no Ninjou no Jutsu [ The Art of the Soul‘s Empathy ]
S+
Allows the user to copy and replicate his/her personality and store it inside another. This duplicated soul inhabits an emotional seal located deep within the folds of the target’s personality, and allows the target to interact with a mental copy of the user without exerting any energy to do so. This copy of the soul can be passed on to others, including offspring, occasionally, and contains everything that the user knew at the time of use, including all abilities, skills, etc. This copy, because it is not actually a part of the user any more, can be used freely by any of those that bear its mark (a small marking under the target's left eye similar to the user's), even after the user has long been dead or out of contact.
• No medium required.

Karei Hana Soushi [ Beautiful Flower Creation ]

Official Description: By focusing the chakra and molding it into the shape of a flower or petals, the user can create multiple flowers or petals to use. The maximum amount of flowers that one can create with one use of the jutsu is three, the maximum amount of petals one can create otherwise is 100. Fields of natural flowers can be harvested quickly using this technique, doubling the amounts. The Taju version, for an A-ranked amount, can create either 48 flowers or 1600 petals.
Guild Description: Must learn before proceeding to the other techniques. The Taju version, Taju Karei Hana Soushi [ Many Beautiful Flowers Creation ], is a separate jutsu that must be learned and listed like the other Hana Jutsu. The average ratio of petals to flowers is 33 to 1.


Hanatoku [ Flower Shield ]

Official Description: After getting a number of petals and putting them in a concentrated area, the user of this jutsu can create a protective shield. This shield can withstand up to a D-Ranked jutsu before being destroyed, or an E-Ranked Katon [ Fire ] before being destroyed. Being destroyed by non-fire moves is a great way to start the emotives up close, as the scents/pheromones will quickly spread.
Guild Description: Requires 1 flower's worth of petals, minimally.


Shuuseigun [ Army in the Field ]

Official Description: This jutsu makes all of the active flowers non-lethal, non-sharp, et cetera, and floats them about the area between the ground and 3 meters high. In addition, scents and pheromones gain a boost to their saturation in the air, making it much easier to use emotives.
Guild Description: The saturation extends out from the user to a total of 10 meters, while the floating occurs out to 30 meters.


Hanabushin [ Flower Clone ]
Rank: C
Official Description: By performing the necessary hand signs, one can create a clone created of petals or flowers. This clone looks like a normal kage bushin, but has one-half the amount of fighting capacity. Once destroyed, this clone will explode in a burst of razor sharp flower petals, and release a pheromone which will cause normal shinobi to go delusional for two posts while causing those with higher smell abilities to be delusional for twice as long.
Guild Description: The gas lasts for two posts before dissipating into the atmosphere, and overwrites any active emotives. Requires 2 flowers' worth of petals, minimally.


Hanasakuran [ Flower Distraction ]

Official Description: By creating petals or flowers and moving them in a tornado pattern, one will entrap the opponent in the swirling mass of razor sharp debris. Once doing so, the user will be able to skirt along the outside nearly undetected, as the great quantity of petals/flowers will be enough to obscure vision. [ Unless by Doujutsu or other matters ] In this state, the user can throw weapons, throw punches, kicks, or even perform jutsus to attack the opponent.
Guild Description: Requires 10 flowers' worth of petals, minimally. Cancels any current emotives.


Hana Jajjimento [ Flower Judgement ]

Official Description: By performing a string of hand signs, the Raigyo member's chakra will start to become visible and seep from their body. As it does this, the chakra forms into thousands of floating chakra petals. These chakra petals are different though as they are sharper and thinner than other Raigyo jutsu, being able to cut through even chakra steel. The user of this jutsu is able to control them with their mind or hands depending on which they prefer. The normal speed of the petals is that of a B-rank. (Jounin)
Guild Description: Controlling the petals with the hands, the power will drop a rank, but the maneuverability will increase to their rank. Controlling them with their mind, the maneuverability will only be that of a C-rank rank (at best), but the power will remain at the A-rank. Can only choose one method of control per each fight's usage. After the initial chakra cost, the user can maintain the jutsu for a B-ranked cost. Cancels any current emotives.


Tsuki Hana Kyuuzou [ Moonlight Flower Implosion ]

Official Description: After the initial hand signs, each unused flower will let loose their petals to join the rest of the horde. The petals themselves will glow brilliantly for a single post, becoming brighter and brighter as they absorb the chakra from the activation of the jutsu. Upon the beginning of the second post, the petals will race towards their target(s) at the current speed of the user, hoping to engulf them whole. For a better mental image, consider thinking about Gaara's desert coffins, only sharper and faster.
Guild Description: Uses all of the flowers and petals currently controlled in the area. Cancels any current emotives.


Nobara [ Wild Rose ]

Official Description: Useful in situations where there are highly pesky--resilient folk--to the emotives, the user can create a singular wild rose from their hand to aid them. The most beautiful flower in all of creation, it forces the target(s) to accept the emotive trying to be given, within a ~33 meter radius of the user. The saturation of the area is dense enough to infiltrate the breathing equipment from Takumi, through the tiniest of gaps.
Guild Description: Kage only. Cannot cause immediate death through strict usage of this jutsu alone. Affects both friend and foe alike.

___H i s t o r y:
Coming forth from Far Eastern Tea Country, the Hojo were once a thriving clan that oversaw much of the coastal region with a kind and fair eye. Although their origins are not entirely clear, according to various chronicles the Hojo were once common only to the Far Eastern sea region. For unknown reasons, the Hojo had at one point in their history formed a severe summoning pact with the squids of the area. The ultimate result at the time appeared to be a permanent fusion between the family members and the ivory cephalopods. Thusly the reason for a number of their current known traits: beautiful pale skin, silken hair, and above all else, their odd ability to form and release various inks from their body. However, it is apparent that as time passed the effects of the fusion have lessened. The current age Hojo clan members have begun to resemble more and more their old humanoid selves, and are typically only able to generate and release ink from their mouths. It seems it is only a matter of time before their unique abilities utterly fade from the world. . .

Passive Traits:
• Users have Suiton [Water] as one [1] of their elements.
• Can learn one [1] more Suiton (Water) technique per post.
• Ink can only be removed with hot water.
• They are not affected by adhesives from their own inks.
• They can extend their natural arms up to three [3] meters.
• Hojo are unhindered by water resistance when submerged, allowing them to swim quickly, and do not require a technique to breathe under water.

___D e f i n i t i o n s:
Definition: [ Typical shot. ]: The amount of shots required for a Hojo clan members ink attributes to be effective. A typical shot is a stackable detriment. For each typical shot stacked on top of the other the ink blends rank of effectiveness increases by one rank. (I.e) A D-ranked Taffy Blend could become a B-ranked Taffy Blend with three successive typical shots. In addition some blends gain greater benifits the more typical shots applied to a target. A Typical Shots detriments will decay by one [1] rank for every two [2] posts.

Note: The Adhesive or properties of a blend can be nulled by the Hojo with a single handsign. However, the inks color will remain stained on the target requiring hot water for it's removal. Unlike traditional inks alcohol is ineffective.


___I n k i n g ○ M e t h o d s:
Blot Spit
The Hojo clan member will build up ink within their mouth, causing their cheeks to expand and roughly double in size. After further preparing the ink technique, they will spit out the ink in a spherical lump the size of an average human skull.
Ink fired in this method is often referred to as a [ typical shot. ]
• Requires [3] posts to learn.

Fountain Spit
The Hojo clan member concentrates a large amount of chakra and releases the ink produced skyward causing a rain of small individual ink pellets. This technique can be blended for devastating results if Twin Blend 050 has been learned for a lofty chakra cost. Expends double blend ranked chakra when blended. Each hit counts as 1 out of a percentile per pellet fired of a typical shots effectiveness. Fountain spit has the capability of covering an expanse the size of a district if used at it's full potential. Dispersal of these pellets however, is rather slow. This inking method is treated to be heavily slower in comparison to other inking methods. Shots are also small and easily evaded.
• Requires [8] posts to learn.

Cluster Spit
The Hojo clan member will build up ink within their mouth, causing their cheeks to expand and roughly double in size. After further preparing the ink technique, they will spit out a quartet of ink bulbs. Because of their quartered sized, each bulb has only one fourth (1/4th) the amount of potential as a typical shot. However, when used in conjunction with a blend the blend is treated as one rank higher in effectiveness should all four connect. Cluster Spit's smaller sizes allows them to travel further faster confiding a [ Mildly ] increase to the techniques speed.

Sticky Fingers
The Hojo clan member will build up ink within their mouth, but rather than spit it out, will allow it to leak through their body until it reaches the tips of the fingers. Using a basic surge of chakra, they will press the ink out of their pores allowing it to line their inner palms. Each slap or grab with an inked hand only has one fifth (1/5) the potential of a typical shot, however. This can be applied to other limbs for the same results as long as the skin and pores are exposed.
• Requires [10] posts to learn.

Stream Spit
The Hojo clan member will build up ink within their mouth, causing their cheeks to expand and roughly double in size. After further preparing the ink technique, they can pressurize the blend before letting loose a powerful string of ink. Although linear, ink fired in this method is often far more precise, swift, and potent, possessing more potential than a typical shot. Treated as 2 Typical Shots of ink when connecting, Skips Constricting Blends and Corrosive Blends Setting Periods. ( Pressurization costs [5] chakra & an activation. )
• Requires [14] posts to learn. When Pressurized is treated to be heavily faster in regards to speed.

•Note: Inking Methods Are Unique, The Method Itself Consumes only the amount of Chakra the method is blended with, and does not consume an Activation, However, in exchange for this utility the method is only as strong as the blend used in conjunction with it.

Blinding Blend 001
Rank E
The most basic form of Hojo ink. Requiring absolutely no additional preparation, this ink is a pitch black adhesive that cannot be seen through (unless by Doujutsu or other assistance). [3] [ Typical Shots ] or more will disable the ability to use Doujutsu to see through the bliding blend.

Grey World Blend 002
Rank E
The user produces an ink that removes the color from the coated subject resulting in it being black and white until washed off. This technique can be blended if Twin Blend 050 has been learned removing the color descriptors on the ink it's blended with.

Slippery Blend 009
Rank D
The ink will undergo minor alteration, causing it to become a clear transparent goldenrod color. This blend makes the subject of the inks effects slippery. As such it is capable of loosening an individual's grip. Since Hojo are immune to their own adhesives this slippery ink does not stick to them and instead allows them to glide across it or slip right of an opponent's hands. [Grapple Effects are treated as [2 Ranks Lower] when attempting to grapple or maintain a grapple when under the effects of the slippery blend. Unless the opponent has a skill to prevent it, a [ Typical shots ] worth of slippery blend on a weapon or hand makes it nye near incapable of being held.

Taffy Blend 013
Rank D
The ink will undergo minor alteration, causing it to become a deep pink color. This ink has very elastic and adhesive properties, binding those it comes in contact with. Each [ Typical Shot ] After the first increases the Blend's adhesive properties. Taffy Blend Confers a [ slightly ] penalty to [ speed ] , [ reflex ] , and [ strength ] per [ Typical Shot ]

Enfeebling Blend 018
Rank C
The ink will undergo alteration, causing it to become a navy blue color. This ink is capable of reducing the muscle strength of the afflicted by 10% for every typical shot that makes skin contact and sticks. As thus, one is able to completely exhaust their opponent with successive shots. After accumulating [10] [ Typical Shots ] of this ink the opponent is no longer capable of moving and is rendered physically helpless until the ink is washed away with hot water or the inks effectiveness decays. They are still able to perform Doujutsu or any Ninjutsu technique that do not require hand signs. Prior to [10] [ Typical Shots ] each [ Typical Shot ] reduces the target's [ Strength ], [ Speed ],& [ Fortitude ] by a [ Mildly ] Descriptive.

Moth Blend 019
Rank C
The ink will undergo alteration, causing it to become a forest green color. This ink is capable of burning through cloth and leather materials, but has no effect on the skin. Higher applications of typical shots allows moth blend to eat through thin alloy at [2] [ Typical Shots ] and Corrode Heavy Armor at [3] [ Typical Shots ], at [4] [ Typical Shots ] moth blend can burn through any non-organic matter with the exception of custom weapons, puppets, and armor.

Searing Blend 026
Rank C
The ink will undergo alteration, causing it to become a crimson red color. This ink horribly increases the sensitivity of the pain receptors in the skin, causing any damage that would befall the afflicted area to feel excruciatingly worse. Of course, this ink must make contact with skin. At [2] [ Typical Shots ] the pain becomes crippling preventing one enemy activation if injured in that turn, [3] [ Typical Shots ] the pain becomes unbearable to the point where injury is no longer required to feel it. Causing the enemy to lose one activation regardless of injury [4] [ Typical Shots ] the opponent is in an unfathomable state of pain and sensitivity where even walking hurts reducing their number of activations per post to [1].

Ceremonial Blend 032
Rank B
The ink will undergo great alteration, causing it to become a deep purple color. This ink is applied to the Hojo clan member or an ally, rather than an opponent. The ink increases the muscle endurance of the person it is applied to by 50%, allowing excelled physical maneuvering. However, because it is composed mainly of chakra, it does not last very long (4 posts). Blending with this ink is required for a Hojo to be affected by their own adhesives. (Multiplies existing physical modifiers by [1.5] Strength/Agility/Speed/Fortitude)- Further Applications Will Only Refresh The Duration. I.e Target has a mildly increased(0.2) to the strength descriptive. Ceremonial Blend increases that descriptive by a slightly descriptive (0.1) half of the mildly descriptive for a total of (0.3) becoming a moderately descriptive. (Rnd Up)


Mending Blend 38
Rank B
The ink will undergo alteration changing from it's original black color to a salmon pink. The blend provides a regenerative coating. The coating slowly seeps into injuries recovering small scrapes after the first post E-rank. D-rank injuries on second post. Flesh wounds, C-rank on the third post. Deep cuts on the final post B-rank. More typical shots extend the duration allowing it to seal grievous wounds. A-rank and S-rank. Multiple applications do not accelerate healing. Injuries recovered are only temporarily treated. The ink forms a 'false skin' which acts as a form of 'band aid' for open wounds. The 'false skin' degrades after four posts causing wounds to reopen. This is not a healing jutsu but a preventative measure. It is often combined with Ceremonial Blend used after the Hojo has lost a limb to prevent from bleeding out while attempting to regenerate a new one or get medical treatment. Needless to say this has no effect on heavy bruising or broken bones.


Spiral Blend 041

The ink will undergo alteration, however, rather than changing from its original black color, it will take the shape of a sharp twisted cone. When fired with a projectile spit, it will rotate in the air, acting as a drill. When used with [ Sticky Fingers, ] screw-like ink claws will form around the fingers. This technique is treated as [1] Rank higher when against Doton-jutsu. The claws confer 2/5ths of a typical shot for a blends effectiveness when used in conjunction with sticky fingers.


Piercing Blend 044
Rank B
The ink will undergo alteration, however, rather than changing from its original black color, it will take the shape of a thin long needle. When fired with a projectile spit, it has the potential to cut through most defenses. Use of this technique is treated as [1-Rank] higher when attempting to break through a defense. When used with [ Sticky Fingers, ] sharp ink talons will form around the fingers. These talons can then be used as such, or fired off as projectiles. It's thin form only allows it to confer 1/2 a typical shots effectiveness. When used in conjunction with sticky fingers the talons can apply 2/5ths of a typical shots worth of ink. When thrown each talon is considered 1/10th of a typical shot.


Twin Blend 050
Rank A
A simple yet delicate mixing art which requires a vast amount of training to master, while preventing the loss of any potency. The Hojo clan member will cook two different ink blends within their mouth, resulting in the next ink attack to hold both properties. The Rank of this Blend is the highest of the two Blends [+1]
( Rather than costing [80] chakra to perform, the cooked blend is the cost of the two ink blends combined. )
• Does not receive learning reductions.


Corrosive Blend 059
Rank A
The ink will undergo alteration, causing it to become a lime green color. When this ink comes into contact with skin, it spreads out to cover as much area as possible. After flattening itself, the ink will then begin to bubble and hiss, slowly eating away at the flesh of its victim. Prolonged exposure to this ink typically results in total skin loss.
( After a successful hit, it takes one [1] activation to flatten, and another [1] activation to trigger.) When stacked again with another typical shot of the same blend, allows the blend to bypass thin clothing like cloth or leather but not armors or metals.


Constricting Blend 066
Rank A
The ink will undergo alteration, however, rather than changing from its original black color, it will take on a "wrap and bind" characteristic. When this ink makes contact with any surface, it will begin to stretch and reel itself around the object. After entrapping its target, the ink will begin to bind and tighten, acting as if a boa constrictor; crushing bones and most anything else, to be honest. Negates the following descriptives from the target. [ Speed ] , [ Reflex ]. Ninjutsu requiring hand signs are unable to be used.
( After a successful hit, it takes one [1] activation to wrap. )


Iron Blend 070
Rank A
The ink will undergo alteration, causing it to become a murky gray color. Unlike other blends, this ink is both moldable and durable, allowing the user to stretch it into various weaves. Because of these characteristics, the ink is most commonly spat into the hands and then spread wide to form a powerful shield. Iron Blend's forms are only limited to the individual's imagination. However, nothing is sentient.


Elemental Blend 088
Rank S
[Once learned, Elemental blend does not consume chakra. Elemental blend instead consumes an activation to apply the listed effect to the ink blend it's being used with. The elemental properties only as strong as the blend it is used with. It also takes up the second slot of Twin Blend.]
The ink will undergo alteration, instead of an alteration in color it adopts the traits of one of many elemental affinities. However, the element is determined by the users chakra natures and only one is applicable per use.
Raiton: Electrifies all ink and typical shots
Futon: Ink blends can be emitted in gaseous form or transition from liquid to gaseous on contact.
Katon: Ignite all ink blends and makes it hot enough to rival magma.
Doton: Ink blends can be emitted as solid forms or transition from liquid to solid on contact
Suiton: Allows partial manipulation of [Typical Shots] in mid-flight. (i.e causing them to veer to a particular direction. Also allows one to manipulate to density of [Typical Shots] either doubling their effectiveness or reducing them by half.


Penultimate Blend 100
Rank S
The ink will undergo alteration, causing it to become a rainbow of color. This blend Allows a Hojo to fuse any number of blends together for their costs similar to twin blend. Multiple instances of the same Blend will increase said Blends Rank. The rank of this blend is equivalent to the highest blend [+X Ranks, however many blends were added to the mix.] Because of the Penultimate Blend being the Ultimate in Hojo Blending skills it consumes all the Hojo's activations that turn to prepare, so...you better make that one shot count.
• This Blend does not receive learning reductions.

Many Arms of the Squid

As the Hojo cultivated and developed the realization that multiple crude arms could instead prove just as an effective tool for preserving their extensible limbs came to light. However these extra limbs were intentionally made imperfect as they were easier and less excruciating to produce. They bear even more of a resemblance to their pacted brethren in the sense that limbs produced this way do not have digits and are instead nubs not unlike tentacles.
• This Technique can be trained up only to the user's maximum body rank.
It can then be retrained at each body rank increase the number of limbs.
• Each Rank of [ Many Arms of the Squid ] confers an extra appendage that may extend from one's back, sides, or neck. The appendage is retractable capable of hiding within the body and may extend up to 10 yards away from the body. This appendage however, cannot form hand signs.
• If an appendage is lost, the only way to recover it is with the Hojo technique [ Arms of the Squid ] which makes them just as precious as one's current limbs.
• The appendages for the most part can be considered tentacles, these appendages feel pain as any other appendage, these appendages have a unique benefit of being treated as [ Whips ] for whip oriented Bukijutsu.
• These appendages are severely disadvantaged using taijutsu that requires, hands, fists, or great feats of physical strength resulting in [-2 Rank Detriment] to the technique it's used in conjunction with.
• Using these appendages with Taijutsu that grapple confers a [+1 Rank Bonus] to the grapple and sustaining the grapple.
• These appendages can be used in conjunction with Hojo clan [ Sticky Fingers ]

[Special] - S+ rank : The option of allowing the limbs to grow actual hands at their ends becomes possible. These hand can thus do things such as throw shuriken and form hand signs. The Taijutsu penalty for not having hands are negated. S+ training is required for each individual limb one wishes to have a hand. If the limb with the hand is lost, when/if it is restored the S+ training to reattain a hand on that limb must be done again. These extra limbs do not grant extra activations.


Arms of the Squid

As the years of their fusion summoning swept by, the early Hojo began to realize that possessing arms that could stretch great distances was both a great power, and an incredible weakness. Those who became flustered in combat, or simply overpowered, were often delimbed. To a normal ninja this commonly led to death, but to a Hojo, losing his arms was as good as losing his head. In order to combat such weakness, the Hojo took inspiration from the very beasts they pacted. By making use of an incredible amount of chakra, and self-inducing excruciating pain, one could regenerate lost limbs, so long as the greater socket remains (shoulder for arms, waist for legs). It is not entirely clear if this feat can be mimicked or produced by other methods, but is is very apparent that the act is highly sought after.
• Can only be used four [4] times per battle.
• Requires one [1] undisturbed post of concentration.
• Inflicts severe pain at regeneration point.
• Cannot regenerate head.

___H i s t o r y:
The Oni were originally a clan of horned humanoids from the far off mountains of Stone Country, where they stayed blissfully unaware of the workings of the outside world. In their solitude the Oni found great pleasure in all sorts of gaming and competition- often creating new games from some of the most simplistic materials in the world. Because of their love for games, the Oni are a very competitive race, and it is very unlikely that you will ever find an Oni clan member that will shun or not participate in some form of contest. Unfortunately for the rest of the inhabitants of the mountains, one of their favorite "games" happened to be geiin... or... heavy drinking. Because of their deep desire to compete, and love for the sauce, the Oni would challenge any and everyone that lived on or ventured to the mountains to all sorts of drinking games.

As one would imagine, the Oni were the almighty and undisputed rulers of their drunken domain. There was not a single being on the mountain, not even wild life, that could put up a challenge. Bored by the mundane and effortless victories, the Oni began to scout their mountains- to be sure they overlooked no one in their drunken state.

Unable to find a challenge within its rigid peaks, the Oni stretched their search to the seas that bordered their mountains.

Unable to find a challenge within its pure clouds, the Oni stretched their search to the volcanoes that bordered their mountains.

Before they realized it, the Oni had ended up completely abandoning their mountains. Their once beloved home had become a better forgotten memory of drunken nostalgia. As the Oni scouted the rest of the world, they discovered more and more varieties of activities that lured them from their old lifestyle. It was more than just competition that taunted them- entirely different lifestyles became possible, it was merely a matter of adapting to the ways of human life. And although difficult, the Oni, once secluded in their mountains, are trying their hardest to bend to the whims of such human complexity.
All of its aspects; civilian, royalty, and ninja alike, anything they'd find some fun in.


___Passive Traits:
• Users have Suiton [Water] as one of their elements.
• Can learn Suiton [Water] and Saketon [Alcohol Release] ninjutsu one [1] post faster.
• Techniques are known as Saketon [Alcohol Release].
• Oni bear a pair of tan or beige colored horns that symbolize their strength.
• These are incredibly hard to break, but the Oni will lose control of their bloodline abilities if they are removed. The horns will grow back in twenty [20] posts.
• Oni are physically durable, receiving a half rank [.5] reduction to damage from Taijutsu, and are fire resistant, receiving a half rank [.5] reduction to damage from Katon [Fire].
• If the Oni is not “alco-hydrated”, in other words drink a form of alcohol every ten [10] posts, they lose the above benefits.
• Oni Clan members may choose Sake Soujuu as their starting technique.

Sprout: Losing one's horns is a horrendous experience as it is, but the side effects? Terrible! As such, those who invest in this discipline will find the time it takes to regrow horns reduced by four [4] posts per one [1] point spent.

Blood to Wine: While creating sake is good and all, sometimes there's not enough of it around. For those who invest in this Discipline it becomes possible to utilize their blood and convert it directly into liquor...for a cost. For each Rank worth of Sake produced, the character takes one [1] point of temporary damage to their Power and Agility stats. Each additional point put within this Discipline grants an increased number of ranks for each point, with one [1] point granting E - rank, and two [2] granting E and D - ranks, etc.

Give the Man a Drink: Although the Oni rely on the ability to produce Sake in often large amounts, the output that they can actually create at one time is rather limited. As such, for each Discipline Point expended, their yield is increased by one [1] step.

Sake Soujuu [Alcohol Manipulation]
Description: This control allows the Sake user to create and bend alcohol. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body. It should be noted that one can also manipulate alcohol they have not made. Additionally, any alcohol that is being freely manipulated is not very strong, and can be broken or blown away as if it were completely natural. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.

___ Rank D: Small amount of alcohol [a glass, 8 ounces].
___ Rank C: Medium amount of alcohol [a gallon].

Because of its contents, it is not only obscuring, but also semi-intoxicating. Smokescreen covers a ten 10 meter area and lasts for three [3] posts. If an opponent is exposed to the mist for the full length of the technique, they experience stage one Drunkenness.

The Oni will manipulate sake with their chakra to create three clones that are roughly one third [1/3] the height of the original user. These clones aren't particularly strong, and are destroyed in one hit, but they can become quite bothersome in hordes.

The Oni will pluck a single strand of hair from their head and place it onto the head of one of their sake pests. The strand of hair from the original is filled with chakra, which will transfer to the pest. On the user's command, the sake pest will explode- a blast three times the size of the pest. The explosion causes impact damage, and can knock someone out, more than anything else.


Tebukuro no Sake [ Alcoholic Gloves ]

The Oni will coat their fists with sake, and then apply one of their chakra elements to the newly formed gloves. Fire will result in burning punches; water in extended punch range; wind in corkscrew punches; earth in heavy punches; or lightning in electrical punches.

Chinsui Mosaku no Jutsu [ Drunk Groping Technique ]

The Oni will gather sake in their mouth, swish it against their cheeks once or twice, and then spew a glob of alcohol which expands into a well sized puddle after making contact with a surface. As the puddle of sake is imbued with the Oni’s chakra, it will react when another chakra signature is nearby. If an enemy, or even an ally, steps over this puddle, anywhere from six to sixteen hands of sake will rise up and restrain the intruder. Just watch out- they’re kind of grabby.


Sake Tama no Jutsu [ Sake Bullet Technique ]

The Oni will gather sake in their mouth, swish it against their cheeks once or twice- imbuing it with chakra -and then release it in thumb-sized pellets. The impact of the pellets isn't enough to pierce straight-through, but it will cause a good amount of blunt damage.


Shikon Hoppeta Kasei [ Purple Cheeked Growth ]

Taking in a deep breath, the Oni will gather chakra into their upper torso, hold it there, and then let it spread throughout their body as they exhale. The pulsation of chakra causes the Oni’s body to expand- doubling in size. For a moderate amount of time, the Oni will be able to fight with increased durability and physical prowess, at the cost of a minor speed reduction. After the duration of the growth ends, the Oni will need to vomit.

Merutodaun no Tenou [ Heaven's Meltdown ]

The Oni will wrap an arm or leg with a good amount of sake. Imbued with chakra, the alcohol will form a skin around the aligned limb. With the sake attached to the Oni's limb, they are free to attack in two different ways; mid ranged- manipulating the sake to increase range, or far ranged- throwing off the sake in pieces like projectiles.

Baundo Soeki no Jutsu [ Bouncing Pest Technique ]

An adaption of [ Sake Soeki no Jutsu ].
The previously annoying sake pests will become all the more bothersome with this little upgrade. Learning this technique allows the Oni to meld their pests into bouncy spheres of alcohol at any time.

Zansatsu o Kijou Oni [ Massacre on Mount Oni ]

The Oni grasps their opponent, typically a single hand to a loose limb. With a firm grip, they will then swing around in succession, spinning until they see fit or until they become dizzy. The Oni will then slam their opponent into the ground in one swift leaping drop. The impact of this technique is enough to break boulders, needless to say what it can do to a normal human.


Okkuu Soeki no Jutsu [ Annoying Pest Technique ]

An adaption to [ Sake Soeki no Jutsu ].
Granting them ever more methods to aggravate their target, this technique allows the Oni to mold their sake pests into flying beasts of burden. With a snap of the finger, the sake pests sprout a pair of wings and are thusly capable of flight.

• Chakra is not needed to perform this technique.


Merutodaun no Naraku [ Hell's Meltdown ]

The Oni will wrap their entire body in a skin of chakra infused sake. The sake will slowly torrent itself around the user, acting like a constantly flowing armor. Much alike [ Alcoholic Gloves ], the user is then able to apply a chakra element to the sake- fire for a burning shell; water for an extending shell; wind for a swift rotating shell; earth for a powerful shell; or lightning for a zapping shell. In addition to these outer effects, the Oni will also receive a physical bonus. Fire and earth result in physical strength; wind and water result in physical defense; and lightning results in physical speed. ( For example, if you apply fire to your sake shell, it will be like wearing a barrier of flames, while also having your physical strength increased. )

___H i s t o r y:
Formulated by the Ketsueki clan of Water Country's outer lands; the art of Saiketsu is a specialty seen only by those who are deemed worthy by the clan's higher-ups. The Ketsuki were secluded, silent, and extremely picky. Forging few bonds, making less friends, and allowing little to none to join their ranks. This was not only partial to their attitudes, but also because of their feeling that only the purest of the pure be allowed to learn their particular skills and abilities. Those who managed to scramble a position in the Ketsueki clan were not only pure of heritage, but possessed incredible potential in all physical chakra arts.

The main reason for the Ketsueki's picky behavior was in fact a direct result of the requirements of their clan jutsu. The Saiketsu jutsu, or technique of drawing blood, demands that the user have at least above average chakra control and wealth. Saiketsu pulls the blood from a wound on the user's body, shapes it, and hardens it into a gem like stasis. Although the act of pulling blood is possible with non-elemental chakra, without manipulation over water it cannot be crystallized and made a useful weapon. A method made infamous, and held secret, by early members of the Ketsueki clan.

○ Throughout the Saiketsu technique descriptions the word "Dehydration" will arise a few times. Dehydration simply means that the limb which it applies to has been utterly drained of blood. However, because of the practice of the Saiketsu jutsu, this state of dehydration typically only lasts a moderate amount of time (4 posts).

• They regenerate blood very quickly.
• Abilities do not manifest until the character is at least fourteen [14].
• Saiketsu techniques are weak to electricity and Raiton [Lightning] techniques, being overwhelmed by techniques of equal rank.

Recycling: Blood is a finite source to those who don't feel like dying, and no one knows this like the Saiketsu. As such, per Discipline Point invested, the Saiketsu are able to recycle a portion of the technique they just used, with a total of five [5] energy per technique that was used. This can be selected a total of three [3] times.

Rigorous: Use of blood as a component can be quite costly no matter who or what you are, but the Saiketsu learned that Chakra need not be the only fuel for their "blood magic". Those who take this Discipline at a cost of three [3] DP will be able to use either Stamina or Chakra to fuel their costs, though this does not inhibit their dehydration.

Paint it Red: Blood is a necessity to survive, and Saiketsu understand this better than anyone else. Although they rely on blood for their techniques, they must still wait for their blood to regenerate before they can risk using more of it. By taking this discipline, the amount of time it takes to regenerate an amount of blood is decreased by one [1] post per Discipline Point spent, to a minimum of one [1] post.

The act of crystallizing one's own blood. After drawing blood in anyway, the user will shape it then pump additional chakra through it, in order to make it as hard as stone and as sharp as a typical blade. This basic form of Saiketsu is really only good for small amounts of blood, with which one can form small projectiles.
• Must learn before proceeding to other techniques.

Sasu no Hari [ To p***k with a Needle ]
Rank E
The user draws a small amount of blood from their pours, allowing them to create a very small needle. This needle is thin and only stretches about 3 inches- basically a sewing needle. Its main purpose is simply to pierce the user in order to draw additional blood.


Arei no Hari [ Array of Needles ]

The user takes aim with a single hand and then launches 15 stone red pin needles from the pours of that hand.


Shinku Wa [ Crimson Ring ]

With a flick of the hand, the user draws their own blood and flings a sharp ruby disc roughly the size of the palm.


Ken no Rubi [ Blade of Ruby ]
Rank C
Draining a good amount of blood from either hand, the user is able to create a red stone sword of any shape they choose. The usage of this technique results in the dehydration of the drained hand.


Ikatsui Tsume [ Grim Claw ]
Rank C
The user surges blood from either of their hands, resulting in dehydration of the chosen. The blood will wrap around the fingers of the user, crystallizing whence they've stretched out about eight inches.


Chi Pa-ji [ Blood Purge ]
Rank B
The user places a hand over an open wound, slowly funneling any foreign or poisonous agents. Unfortunately, this process takes a good amount of time (4 posts).


Aka Kouseki Keppei [ Red Crystal Clot ]
Rank B
Whenever a severe wound is dealt to the Saiketsu user, they are able to almost instantaneously crystallize this wound to prevent excessive blood loss.
• Can only be used three times per battle.


Aka Harinezumi no Sujou [ Birth of Red Porcupine ]

From any conscious position, the user will flood their body with chakra, pressing small amounts of blood from every pour. In a flash moment, the user will then crystallize every single strain of blood inching from their flesh. This hasty maneuver offers a wonderful defensive retaliation. It should be noted that this technique does not have very impressive range, stretching only about 6-7 inches.


Kyuuketsu [ Donation of Blood ]
Rank A
The user pulses chakra throughout their body in order to recuperate lost blood. Simply put, this is a way to rehydrate multiple limbs in exchange for chakra.
• Can only be used three times per battle.


Sabi Kougake [ Rust Colored Gauntlet ]
Rank A
By forcing all of the blood from a single arm to rise and wrap, the user is able to generate a protective and offensive armament. A full arm length hunk of crystallized armor. The tip of the gauntlet is typically twisted and divided into a trio of drill-like fingers, while the length is a series of five platted discs. It should be noted that behind the gauntlet, the user's arm is dehydrated.


Akahagane [ Red Steel ]

Realizing that stone wasn't exactly the sturdiest of materials, the Ketsueki clan developed a method to increase the strength and durability of their techniques. By applying additional chakra to their jutsu in thin twisting layers, the Saiketsu user is able to make their end product as tough as steel and as sharp as a fresh blade.
( Rather than costing [80] chakra to perform, each modified technique costs an additional [20] chakra. )


Kekkon Shinryu [ Divine Dragon Stained with Blood ]

Making total use of the blood within the arms, the user releases a harsh straightforward torrent of blood- shaped like a menacing eastern dragon -upon the target. Rather than causing direct damage, if this dragon manages to make contact with its target, it will attempt to drive itself into the enemy's veins. Traveling throughout the body, the dragon will attempt to reach the heart chamber of its victim where it will begin to slowly close its maw upon the heart itself. As the dragon's fangs sink into the enemy's heart, the deliverance of the final bite is controlled fully by the whim of the user. Needless to say, this technique could easily be used for torture or blackmail. It should be noted that both arms and nearly the entire upper torso region become dehydrated after usage.

___H i s t o r y:
Explosion / explosive release (爆遁, Bakuton) is an advanced chakra nature kekkei genkai. This chakra nature gives the wielder the ability to utilize combustive chakra in combat, causing explosions to be triggered when contact is made. The only known users of this nature were members of Iwagakure's Explosion Corps., but as of late the clan seems to have expanded and gone the way of the nomad; traveling a vast many lands and villages, very few settling down to a place they can call “home.”
The clans of the Bakuton users are split into two groups; those that use the Physical Method, and those who still maintain lineage of the Clay Method. The Physical Method is a style in which the user typically must first make contact before releasing explosive charges, while the Clay Method is a unique sect of owners who have developed mouths upon their palms and chest. These mouths are used to meld clay into various shapes, and then entrust those clay structures with explosive chakra- essentially creating bombs.

___T r a i t s:
• User must choose between Physical and Clay methods at character creation. Physical Method can be found under the Manipulation Clans heading of this list.
• User must have Doton [Earth] as one of their Elements.
• User learns one [1] more Doton [Earth] Technique per post.
• Techniques are formed by the user molding clay with their additional mouths, giving chakra to the clan.
• Clay Users are more likely to be harmed by their own techniques but can shape them to almost any desired shape and size.
• Cannot access techniques outside of their own method, aside from the general method techniques, without finding the clan scrolls for the Physical Method.

Description: Balling up their fist, the user will make a throwing motion, opening their hands in the process. In the perceived line of motion, a bunch of loud, blinding 'pafs' of varying colors will explode in a fireworks type of fashion. They are harmless otherwise. No handseals are required.

Hirameku [ Flick of Light ]

Description: Holding the first two fingers out like they are tracing, the other hand will hold a simple hand sign. As long as the hand sign is held, a line of light can be drawn in the air. Once either the hand sign is released or an object/person touches the line, it will flare out for several feet, singeing or otherwise concussing those affected. The user can produce a single continuous line which will hang still in the air as they trace.

Bakuhatsu no Senkei [ Fan Shaped Detonation ]

Official Description: Forming several handsigns, the ground spreading away from the user's feet (in front) will crack into a fan shape several meters in length. Out from the cracks multitudes of fireworks will spring, of varying shapes & kinds. In addition to being incredibly loud & blinding, these carry harmful charges. Small & medium-sized fireworks only. Examples include bottlerockets, crackers, M80s, black cats & other widely available charges.

Itoguruma [ Spinning Wheel ]

Official Description: Making several handsigns, a large earthen wheel will draw up into the air in front of the user & start spinning. Dropping to the ground, it will take off towards the target as the explosives start to burn, causing it to rotate faster. The jets emitted spray off high temperature ash, effectively burning everything in its wake. A wire can be attached to the center to allow for directional control. Lasts for 2 posts before burning out.

The user will first concentrate their explosive chakra into their index and middle fingers. Anything poked after with these fingers will cause a small explosion. The explosion is not very powerful at all, but it can still singe and offset when executed properly.

Description: Rather than making contact and releasing the explosion upon the enemy, the user will stop their hand about two feet from his/her target. At this distance, the user will quickly pulse chakra through their hand in order to create a short-range withheld blast, roughly the same width as the user's palm. The blast travels about three feet, but the focal point is at its center.

Description: A weak version of the Landmine Fist technique. The user performs a hard palm thrust, attempting to strike a weak point in the target's defenses. Kōton Lore:
The Steel Release (鋼遁, Kōton; Viz "Steel Style" ) is an advanced nature kekkei genkai that can be used to make one's body virtually indestructible by turning it into black steel. The main capabilities of Kōton is allowing the user to manipulate the speed of their iron's growth as well as the location of iron deposits. This allows them to create weapons of black steel that can either protrude from any part of the body, or pulled out and used like hand held weapons. The user is also able to create armour of dense black steel underneath their skin. Immediately after the steel is pulled out, the broken skin heals. Although it seems it takes a bit longer for the limb to become usable again or unless the user regrows the iron consciously. They can even fire pieces of their steel as long-ranged projectiles. Any iron that they remove from the body immediately regenerates, as does the skin that is damaged when the iron is removed. Users can increase the density of the created steel, making them stronger than normal steel. This not only makes the created weapons very powerful, but also makes their bodies virtually indestructible; the created black steel can withstand even a chakra-infused blade, which is usually enough to cut through anything.

Passive Traits:
• All Kōton users must have Doton [Earth Release] for one of their elements.
• All Kōton users learn one [1] more Doton [Earth] and Kōton [Black Steel] techniques per post.
• The user cannot be hurt by their own black steel jutsu.
• Users get heavier the more steel that they create, and lighter the more they destroy, down to their basic fleshy weight. When heavier, the character's body frame is counted as one [1] higher, and speed of physical techniques is decreased by one [1] rank.
• Due to the ability to grow Black Steel from their body, members of the Black Steel surrender the ability to start with one [1] technique, but instead start with the ability to learn Kou Soujuu [Black Steel Manipulation].
• Black Steel is somewhat vulnerable to elemental attacks, and Katon [Fire], Raiton [Lightning], and Fuuton [Wind] techniques are a half rank [.5] stronger against them.
• Black steel, as a technique, has a base durability of only fifteen [15] in exchange for flexibility, without outside bonuses. However items crafted out of Black Steel are doubled in durability to thirty [30] and retain any durability bonuses applied to the base durability.

Kōton Abilities:
Kou Soujuu [Steel Manipulation]
Description: This control allows the Black Steel user to create and bend black steel. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body. It should be noted that one can only manipulate their steel objects they themselves have made. Additionally, any steel that is being freely manipulated is not very strong, and can be broken or blown away as if it were completely natural. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.

• The amount of steel that can be created is limited to the user's experience rank limit [at E-rank can make up to C-rank, D-rank up to B-rank, etc.]
• Freely manipulated steel is fragile, losing any durability bonuses and resistances in exchange for flexibility. Steel manipulated with this ability has a durability of [5].

While Kikou no Mukankaku is active, this technique allows the user to grow--from their affected body parts--black steel weapons known by the user. As legendary weapons & custom weapons can't ever be fully known, they are not copy-able. These weapons retain the qualities of Kikou no Mukankaku, allowing them to do double the durability damage normally dealt. Is usable only from the affected limb at the time, increasing the number of weapons created by each rank: 1 for D, 2 for C, 3 for B, 4 for A, 5 for S. Weapons become highly brittle if Kikou no Mukankaku ends.

Hardened, hollow-pointed steel from the fingertips are shot at the enemy, with a spinning motion added to the bullets. This technique is essential to the weighted down user for their long distance attacks.

Kōton: Kōryūheki [ Steel Release: Steel-Style Wall ]

From several handsigns, three thin walls of steel will erect themselves in front of the user for a last ditch defense. Not being made from the body these only count as C - rank defense for a short time, having a Scale of 3. Can be retrained twice to become the Tajū (multiple) version, applicable with an A-ranked amount of chakra, allowing one to make up to six [6] layers at a time.

tab tab The history of An Teaghlach is long, and shrouded in mystery, more from the absolute chaos centered around the Ghorta, or Famine, than anything else. Despite this, there is a vein of details that all Septs agree upon in one fashion or another: it began with a ritual. The justification for it is lost as fact, but the common belief is that it was a desire for family, and a hatred of humanity. This progenitor, seen as a deity by some, was named Tighearna, or Lord, and they hated mankind for its selfish desires and the betrayal of principals. They desired a power to force men to become that which they truly were, to expose the beast within them to the light of the day. The ritual bonded their spirit to a spirit of primal energy, ancient beyond knowing with a name lost to the sands of time, but were granted this ability.
tab tab And so the first Sept, the Sept of the Wolf, was born.
tab tab The following centuries saw a slow, but methodical growth within the bloodline as it was spread through specific means of contact and through dark rituals similar to the original. Over the same time, new Septs were added, each for another successful creation of a Progenitor bloodline. The order is argued over, but overall the final list became: Wolf, Jaguar, Aquatic, Avian, Equine, Ursine, and Fox. These were the names of the Septs, true, but only by tradition, for all canines and felines fell under the Wolf and Jaguar Septs, respectively.
tab tab The warring came after to establish dominance, and it was only when the Ghorta spread out of the shadows that the first Clann member was made. The discovery that their ritual, something thought only able to be passed by bloodline or by ritual, could be spread by bites, blood, or secretions mixed with human blood, shook an Teaghlach culture to their foundations. Quickly a class system was enacted, with those of the Septs, born to their powers "naturally", were above the Clann, who were made "unnaturally". Breeding between the classes was forbidden, as was breeding between different Septs, though the justification for that custom is disagreed upon heavily.
tab tab And that is where the established history ends, the common threads tied into a knot before the chaos of the Ghorta eviscerates it to the core. This mentality, however, and the class system, remains in effect even as late as the Era of Regret, as journals will suggest. The future of the Septs and Clanns are in the hands of the new generation now.


tab Passive Traits (Septs):
• Unlike an Teaghlach Clann, those born of the Septs are born in a hybrid Phased state. Their Phasing is centralized on the concept of repressing their hybrid forms to become human-like in their appearance. This transformation is something inherently learned by an Teaghlach born of a Sept after their tenth year of life. Suppressing, or becoming, the Phased form takes two [2] Activations, unless done during a bout of Phase Madness, in which case it takes no time at all. While phased, ten [10] Stamina is kept hostage and cannot be used, or recovered, until returned to their birth state. While within their human form the Septborn will receive only half of the benefits their Phasing grants, as they are truly unable to separate themselves from the beast entirely.
• Bloodline members have an inherent belief of their superiority to both humans and Clann members, for they are of pure blood, and more so, their forms are their inner selves brought into the light. This is not mandatory, but is highly suggested as it is how every Bloodline member is raised, given their relatively small numbers.
• Styles and Talents that have a more animal-like approach to combat, such as savagery or calling on an animal for representation, may be learned at a one [1] post reduction.
• All Septborn have physical features of one variety or another that hints at their true appearance. These can be minor, or major, and can be both above and below the flesh. Each member of An Teaghlach gains one [1] Animal Attribute, which follows the sames rules and limitations as Tamer Attributes.
• All Teaghlach Bloodline members begin play with a Proficiency in a natural weapon, such as claws, fangs, etc. If a Teaghlach Sept does not have a natural weapon, such as some types of Aquatics, than a weapon may be selected that is closest to the natural weapon in design.
• To an animal that matches the Totem of the Septborn a member of the Sept "reads" as an "alpha". While this allows some to be cowed, or made into allies, this can also insight some animals or beasts into a frenzy.
• As denizens of the natural world, all Bloodline members receive a two [2] point increase to their Foraging Skill. This increases by two [2] point at C - rank and A - rank.
• Kin Sense → All Bloodline members are able to supernaturally detect other members of an Teaghlach, as well as whether they are of a Sept or Clann. The range limit is five hundred [500] meters, though it only allows them to sense the presence at this range, and does not pinpoint. Personal Attributes and Disciplines may be utilized to make this more accurate at shorter distances.
• Phasing Advantage → Phasing from one form to another provides a temporary benefit decided upon by the Sept that an Teaghlach member is a part of.
• Brood Creation → A member of an Teaghlach Bloodline bears within them a form of Chakra Disease that latches onto the genetic structure of others and transforms them into a sub-creature, called a Clann member. The methodology of transmission, and what happens to them, will be described within the clans themselves.

        → Avian Septborn are always acutely, and accurately, aware of the air pressure around them.

        → The body of an Equine Septborn is built slightly different, more so than the average septborn. Their legs are sturdy things, as are their backs, making any attacks made with their legs that much more devastating. Any kicking attack made by the Septborn that requires direct, physical contact to complete is increased by one [1] rank in Strength
        → Movement over long periods is difficult to bear for most. The Equine Septborn, like the animals that bestowed their gift, are blessed with endurance. They can perform actions longer without getting winded, bestowing twenty [20] additional Stamina upon character creation.

        → E - ranked Natural Defense type Defense. This defense has a scale of four [4]. A full rest cycle must be completed before the scale is reset.
        → Sense of smell is twice [2] that of the average human.

        → Reptiles are a cold blooded lot, and as such need warmth nearly constantly. Heat based terrains, and techniques that inflict damage through heat exhaustion, are lessened by one [1] step. In exchange, effects from incredible cold are increased by one [1] rank.
        → All Reptile Septborn receive an E - ranked natural Defense, with a scale of five [5]. This represents the toughness of their flesh, and regenerates every time a sleeping recovery is completed.

      Phase Benefits ► All reptiles are known for their tough skin. For the next two posts [2], the natural Defense of the Septborn is increased to C - rank.

• Fox

      Physical Benefits ►
        → [+2] Intelligence
        → Deception is woven into the mentality of every fox, making them uncannily good with Genjutsu. Any genjutsu, or effect that causes disorientation or deception, find its cost reduced by one [1] rank.
        → Foxfire is a known strength of the Foxes, who utilize it for miraculous effects. The Fox Septborn has flames that match their chakra color, and more so, their fire abilities find their Base Duration increased by one [1].

      Transmission Method ► Hair Consumption
      Phase Benefits ► A fox when riled is vicious. When Phasing, for the next three posts [3] the Septborn finds all attacks made against something that attacked them physically that much stronger and faster, increasing both Speed and Strength of the technique by one half rank [1/2].

• All members of the Bloodline must select a Sept from the following: Wolf, Jaguar, Aquatic, Avian, Equine, Ursine, Reptiles and Fox. Once selected the decision cannot be unmade, and dictates the entirety of the bloodline's benefits and properties.
• Phaselight Madness → Every Sept has a phase of the moon they are associated with that serves as a sort of rejuvenating effect, and a source of much chaos. The Phaselight Madness, as it is called, is different for each bloodline, but is characterized as the time where the blessing, or curse, of an Teaghlach is at its strongest and causes extreme emotional effects. This lasts until the time that the phase has passed, after which the Madness vanishes completely. For in-game definition, every thirty posts [30] it is assumed a the phase of the moon the character's sept is associated with passes. During this time, all physical changes are further doubled [2x], but aggression also skyrockets, and the transformation is forced for the next five [5] posts. This can be resisted, however, though doing so comes with a negative. Until a Phasing is completed, those afflicted with the Phaselight Madness will have their stats reduced to either one [1] or reduced by three [3], whichever leaves the highest number.

___Background // Lore:
tab There exists a tale, a tale that spans many of generations reaching back to when man first freed themselves from the shackles of evolution. When the first primordial human crawled their way out of the muck of gods and moons. A being that was said to foster the vast diversity of life as humanity knows it, a True Ancestor to the previously dominate species on earth. With all tales of creation this might just be the rantings of a long gone mad man, like the tale of descending from the moon, but as with all myths there exists a tiny kernel of truth to be mined from it. Far down the evolutionary branch of humanity there existed a point from which humanity truly became its own being branching off from its Ancestors. What was left behind however was not left to stagnate and perish, what was left behind grew parallel to humanity. A True Ancestor is a child of the night, a being that latched onto the life-force that existed so strongly in mans early years. Learning to control this unstable energy and refine its rough edges. It is said that once the first Ancestor grasped at their life forces true potential that their body was forever changed. Two sides of the same coin: heads the humans who freed themselves from being empowered and weakened by the cosmic deities such as the sun or the moon, and tails the Ancestors who embraced their connection to the Origin and strengthened their bonds to life itself.
:taB: When the first Ancestor of the clan reached this peek of mastery their body itself halted its advance with time. It gave them access to abilities that humans could only dream of. No longer would the being age so long as their life-force remained strong. No longer were they shackled to eating to survive. No longer were they human. They found that a new craving drove them. Whenever they preformed their new feats over life itself they would feel a pang of hunger that couldn't be solved by consuming bread or meat. This hunger grew more and more until the splatter of blood graced this beings senses. The crimson liquid of their dying foe proving impossible to ignore. Their bestial instincts driving their teeth into the foes flesh. Immense pleasure washed over the Ancestor as the greedily drained their foe off all of remaining life force in their husk of a body. It was this first feeding that started a myth still used to spook children to this day. That of a vampire. It is because of this myth that Ancestors to this day are children of the night, avoiding public use of their true abilities in fear of a mob forming at their doorstep. Truth is always found in myth after all.



___Passive Traits:
◇ An Ancestor has the ability to make a willing person into a Lesser. A Lesser is more in line with what the general populace would consider a "vampire." This would make them a Blood Father.
◇ Ancestor's techniques are not fueled by chakra or stamina but rather by Blood Points (BP), gained by taking the life essence from another being through feeding. [See First technique]
◇ You begin with 100 BP as your maximum and will gain and additional 100 BP max per body rank.
◇ Once an Ancestor's body reaches maturity they will find that their bodies stop aging as long as they continue to consume the life force of others.
◇ An Ancestor's eyes have a passive nightvision, allowing them to stalk prey without the need for light to give them away. A side effect of this is that an Ancestors eyes will always glow to some degree when in low light situations, giving a hint at their true nature.
◇ All Ancestors will see themselves taking an additional rank of damage from any Katon techniques as well as any Kekkei Genkai techniques that are made up of some mixture of Katon.
◇ The sun is in a way an Ancestors greatest weakness but only if they run themselves dry of BP, however even with low BP the sun's rays will have negligible effects on their bodies. Such as dull headaches and irritation to the skin as examples.
◇ When bellow 25% of their max BP the Ancestor will find that while out in direct sunlight their stats are treated as a rank lower, as well as any technique preformed by them hitting for a rank less worth of damage. So not only will they be famished but they'll be physically weakned as well.
◇ When an Ancestor comes from a mixed bloodline background, they will always inherit the kekkei genkai of the Ancestor but will also always inherit the physical traits of the other bloodline as a genetic defense to blend in with their surroundings.


___Notes // Rules:
◇ While this is not required of you per se, but for role play purposes please consider that being close or empty on BP should make your RPC more feral and prone to attacking anything to cure themselves of their hunger.
◇ You will awaken from your crystal prison with only 15 BP stored in your RPC's body.
◇ Make sure you understand [Feeding]'s rules, breaking them enough times will have you stripped of being able to feed at all thus limiting your RPC's lifespan drastically.
◇ Ancestors do not need to consume food or water to survive, the only nourishment they will require is blood. How filling the blood is depends on the rank of [Feeding] preformed. While they can still be consumed it just wont offer them energy as it would for a human, not even alcohol effects them.
◇ The max amount of BP that can be stored in an Ancestor depends solely on body rank, this cannot be increased through personal attributes or through event prizes.
◇ The amount of BP that is drained when using a technique is equal to a like rank ninjutsu. Ie E rank will cost 5 BP.
◇ Taking this bloodline forfeits your ability to choose a starting technique besides [Feeding].
◇ While Ancestors might be bless with eternal youth... you are NOT immortal, plenty of things can and will kill you if your careless. A stray arrow to the heart or brain isn't something you can regenerate your way out of.


___Additional Lesser Traits // Rules:

◇ A Lesser amounts to basically being a weaker Ancestor, due to not being born with the blood that now courses through their veins. As such they have a more limited scope in what techniques they can preform with some additional weaknesses that an Ancestor wouldn't suffer.
◇ Having only an imitation of the blood that flows through an Ancestor the Lesser will find that their skin isn't resistant to the sunlight even if they have a full supply of BP. If in direct sunlight for more than 3 posts at a time a Lesser will find that no amount of regeneration will be able to stave off the decaying of their flesh. This sunlight infection will spread to areas that weren't in the sunlight if it isn't amputated.
◇ A Lesser will be less in tune with a preys life when feeding, finding that they they can only drain a max of [20] BP per feeding, even if they were to preform a S ranked feeding. Sure they drain the same amount of blood, but blood isn't the important part.
◇ Night vision for a Lesser costs [15] BP for activation and an additional sum every five posts, as the vision is not innate but rather fueled by life essence.
◇ A Lesser is completely sterile, they will be unable to pass the imitation of the bloodline down into a family of their own. Along that same vain a Lesser is unable to turn another being at all, their blood not potent enough.
◇ While it is not required a Lesser will find themselves almost compelled to do whatever their Blood Father asks of them. Even if the rpc musters the willpower to refuse, you must at least write about how mentally hard it was to deny the Ancestor.
◇ No Lesser's exist from before the age of Regret as the Chronovores would have reverted their bodies to a point where the infection did not exist in their blood. No matter the age they turned.

Elder Control :: When a Discipline point is invested into this the Ancestor will have more control over which rank of feeding they can use when replenishing BP. At 50% remaining you will only lose access to E and D rank, at 25% remaining you will only gain the loss of access to C rank.

Energy Siphon :: When two Discipline points are invested into this, the Ancestor will find that not only does feeding replenish their BP they now seem to be able to drain chakra along with BP. The amount of chakra gained by feeding will always be half the amount of BP drained, E Rank does not drain chakra. The chakra is taken directly out of the victims pool.

Blood Bliss :: When two Discipline points are invested into this, the Ancestor will find that when using C-A rank feeding not only does the target get weakened but the missing strength will find itself flowing through the Ancestor's body. The stat boost gained is equal to the stat rank lost by the victim and will last until the victims stats return to normal and/or perish.





__Ancestor and Lesser Techniques:
Kyūji [Feeding] - Base Technique
tab ► Feeding will take away all of your actions for the post, if you've already used an action during that turn you will be unable to feed as a rule. You will be left defenseless while feeding as draining the life essence of another being isn't just about getting the blood from their veins. At 60% remaining BP you will lose access to E and D rank, at 40% you will lose access to C rank, and anything bellow 20% will require you to use the A and S rank. This is all due to how powerful hunger can be for a Ancestor, it makes them sloppy and greedy. Feeding works due to how unique the Ancestors canine teeth are, the insides hallow allowing for a syringe like effect where they suck the fluid through the hallow tube in their center. It is important to note that there is no Stamina or Chakra cost associated with drawing, except in the case that the bite must go through armor or another type of barrier. In such cases the Chakra or Stamina must be paid to get through the defense to get to the juice beneath.
___Rank E: Very small amounts of blood, enough to curb a hunger but not enough to fill you. [5 BP]
___Rank D: Small amounts of blood, enough to fill a large goblet. A decent lunch for curbing off hunger. [10 BP Gain]
___Rank C: Medium amounts of blood, generally an amount you could get out of a deer without killing it. Enough to make a grown man weak in the knees lowering preys stats by one rank for the next [2] posts. [20 BP Gain]
___Rank B: Large amounts of blood, draining this much out of a human will leave them unable to stay conscious. Not enough to threaten them unless they have a open wound on their person. The rank decrease will continue for [6] posts. [40 BP Gain]
___Rank A: Very large amounts of blood, leaving the human sized pray drained to the point of life endangering blood loss. For the next [10] posts the victim will find themselves a rank weaker. [60 BP Gain]
___Rank S: Excessive amounts of blood, enough to leave a human or large animal nothing but a dried out husk. [80 BP Gain]

To this effect shinobi even created quaint little illusions to mask their true natures, but to someone gifted with the blood of ancients this is but mere child's play. It is easy enough to pretend you're something different after all, we wear out mask everyday. However the imitation pales to actually being it. Through wrestling control the life essence that flows through their being Ancestors found a way of becoming that which they idolize so feverishly, for a moment of time. But they found however that obtaining your dreams comes at the cost of never dreaming again.

By expending 20BP as well as your actions for the turn you will be able to transform into something completely different for a a total of [5] posts. What you transform into cannot be changed, whatever it is you shape shift into upon learning this technique is what you will forever turn into when preforming it. It must be something your rpc yearns for, it might have combat advantages it might not. Through the gift of blood the child will become wholly physically different their entire presence changing to match their new body. The child will be unable to preform any techniques that do not involve blood or their new body while in this new state.
◇ Returning to your original form before the time limit expires will cost an additional cast of the technique.
◇ Any tracking techniques will be fooled by this change, after all they are now a completely different being.
◇ Nothing will allow you to change your dream once it has been achieved.

The Ancestor begins by drawing blood from both their arms, the means matters little such as a slitting of the wrists. Once this act is preformed they begin the techniques countdown by channeling their BP through the leaking liquid of life. Once Bloodletting is active the Ancestor is able to freely form foot long stakes of blood from their arms for the following [5] posts. These states have the durability of iron.
