tab Hello, hello! As some of you may heard a large vote took place within the Discord chats where we discussed
tab the merit of moving the guild in a different direction. In this case, the vote was nearly unanimous to change
tab the direction of the guild to move away from the theme of Naruto. As such, we will transition more towards a
tab high fantasy guild with some science fiction elements such as some automatons, modern cities and
tab railways, transportation and technology that makes life easier. This change, however, does not mean a restart.
tab No, we are not starting over, losing progress, or retconning the world as we know it. What we are instead doing is
tab keeping the world as we know it, with the same map and cities and lore. Every character maintains their memory
tab and their learning, including from the past. How? Because this change, in whatever manner it comes, will take
tab place in character. Somehow, someway, the world as we know it will change. Chakra will become
tab mana, shinobi will become magic users, so on and so forth. Only you, the player characters that exist now,
tab will remember the world as it once was. The NPCs, however, will not. No longer will they understand when
tab you speak of Chakra, of Jutsu and Shinobi. They will know only the ways and words of the new world.
tab But this continues to beg a single question: how? How did this happen? And that is what we are
tab here to talk to you about. Till the twenty first of May [5/21/2019] we will be holding a contest
tab for you, the members, to come up with a way for all of this to happen. While we have one on
tab standby, we would like to get you all involved. Every member gets two [2] Entries using
tab the format below. After the final day all suggestions will be put up in a massive vote, and the top
tab four [4] winners will be given a prize. Once this prize is handed out another round of voting
tab will help us determine the one, final option that we will be using for the guild's change. Given the
tab seriousness of the situation I ask that only serious suggestions be given, as comedic answers will be
tab unless a good enough reason comes with it. As for Rewards, these will be announced next Saturday,
tab but rest assured that all who participate will be given a rewards, and the top four [4] and finally
tab the actual winner of this contest! Without further ado, below you will find the format:

Title: The Shards of Mystery // The Shattering
Description: This current realm exists as a 'shard', one of many such worlds. During this event however, the boundary between these shards, or realities, begin to break down. In the sky over certain parts of the world, large, multifaceted crystals the size of cities appear in the sky. These crystals emit a pulsating aura around them, altering the landscape and in essence, terraform this world to suit the inhabitants of other shards, whose realities are colliding within our own. At the furthest edge of this aura, there are small changes with different plant life and small animals appearing, as if being created by this crystal. The closer you get to the crystal, the more profound the changes with monsters and humanoids being torn from their respective shards only to be thrust into our own. Underneath the crystals is where the power is at its most potent with literal cities being created and great heroes and mythical beasts appearing. Its up to our brave heroes to unravel the mystery of the crystals and fractal realms. ((the crystals can all have different themes and such, be different sizes etc. It just allows for literally anything as different realities merge with our own Naruto based reality.))
- Large Shards/Rifts begin to Materialize
- These shards emit pulsating energy, literally bending and warping reality nearby.
- As other realms are quashed into ours, so will parts of our realm be ripped away, creating patchwork and super varied realms
- Areas become somewhat thematic as the creatures, terrain, buildings, etc are all stylized from whatever reality/shard they originate from.
- The power of the shards is most powerful at their base, creating the potential for raid like dungeon crawling directly beneath them.
- Changes affect not only the physical realm, but the ethereal realm, summoning new gods, spirits, deities, and demons.

Title: Requiem for a Future
Description: A Conqueror of Energy, known as Etin, chose different worlds that had fought him off in the past to bequeath his powers amongst them, as he was growing old of age. To him, this was redemption of the many lives massacred of the innocent and righteous. However, one world in particular, the world of the shinobi, caught his eye and he was unsure if he had wanted to use his last remaining life force. He decided it was best to see if the planet was worth it. With this, he entered this here world and traveled each and every crevice in a matter of seconds before making his final judgement. He had gained a general idea of what the world has become, as it was very worn out. As a Conqueror, he thought that it would be very difficult for the remaining wanderers of the earth to construct a greater future with what they have. He saw potential within them. With a smile, he closed his eyes and waited until every creature was fast asleep before dispersing into light. As this happened, he replaced the Law of Chakra with the power of a Conqueror - energy. Chakra, ki, nen, magic, mana... whichever name one wishes to call it by, all composed into one. Subsequently, what was known before as a "jutsu" will be used to the change accordingly. As the night grew into day, as creatures had awaken from their slumber, the last of Etin the Conqueror slowly faded away into nothingness as a new dawn approached the world that was once was.
"Use what I have given you humans wisely. Atoq will never let me hear the end of it if you do not. So use it with caution; for it is a gift from I, Etin; Conqueror."

Title: Pawns in the Gods' Game of Chess
Description:
◇ Idea is based upon Isekai
◇ We know there are other worlds out there, to a degree, like when we merged with whatever you wish to call the world during the Halloween event.
◇ In short, something similar happened to then as in our world moved too close to another, and the Gods there took notice of us and become interested as they were quickly getting bored of their own world because no matter how much they tried to intervene their cycle never broke.
◇ As such, after observing us down to the last minute, they combined their power to merge our worlds to an extent.
◇ Our main cities and Player Characters would be summoned into their world, however our NPC's would not, but they would be recreated by the Gods with their exact memories and mannerisms with a few tweaks, which would explain why they have no clue what jutsu are or what we called chakra, because the Gods replaced this within them, an consequentially within us as well without us knowing.
◇ Speaking of Gods, they are assholes, they care not for their world, they see it as just a form of entertainment as all the races that live within are just apart of their game to kill time. If you expected to be summoned to this world to fight the Demon King and save them all, while you might be given the impression at first that is not at all what has happened. The Gods simply just wanted to fix their boredom by messing with your lives and seeing how you changed things here, via for better or worse as long as something new happened.
◇ How would this happen? Well, speaking of the Halloween Event from before, I'd like to steal a bit of that.
Your world, a world that knew no fear, falls still as it comes parallel with another called (insert whatever name you want here). At least, not as it was truly meant to be felt. As some slumber tucked into their bedrolls, as others curl into the arms of their lovers or tread the paths of life under the light of the full moon or burning sun the darkest, deepest recesses of their souls began to twitch. A primal fear of something nameless, something that once ravished the world and left such a swathe of devastation that it ingrained itself into the human spirit. Passed down from parent to child, whether human or animal, this memory was such that its barest touch gave rise to an instinctual despair that caused the entire planet for one, silent moment to become still, a collective breath being held in anticipation. Of what, exactly, was difficult to describe or understand, with only some manner of black presence pressing against their subconscious. Yet the waiting would not be that long, not nearly as long as might well have been desired.
It came sudden, without preamble.
A sickening twist within the very soul of the individual would be felt, a sickness that couldn't be described as a feeling, but more as an existence. Tainted by some primordial horror the feeling creeps up your skin, twitching and twisting within your inner selves as you are moved out of sync with yourselves. Almost an out of body experience, you cast your gaze upon a reflection of who and what you are, and then...
You are back.
Back where you left off, where you last remember being. And yet there is something...off. The dark is darker, the light sharper, with edges more defined in stark contrast to their surroundings. Silence reigns for several moments before the sound of the world slowly returns to you as it begins to return to life around you.
◇ This is up to you guys, but I figured that the new parts of the world, to us, assuming there, would be placed between our villages as our lands was merely placed into their world in uncharted territory as to not cause a massive disturbance, because the last thing the Gods want is us to immediately go to war and potentially die which would be perhaps the most boring of things to happen.
◇ Conversely, our cities and theirs could be merged, as a way to save forum space and make less threads that the crew might be afraid will never get used, and to do this I'd suggest having the new worlds cities appear mixed in ours similar to how Protoss buildings are warped in to reality from another place, appearing as if they are slowly being uncloaked from their invisibility. (Lanny would get this reference and would have a good understanding of how it works) If this action is taken, then the Player Characters would need to be "gifted" the native language of whatever city they merged with, unless the crew just wants the entire world to stay speaking Japanese like it already was.
◇ Of course, as a bit of a side note, now that Gods are real, we could have religions and be granted powers from our deities from serving them if that was a wanted thing. Jashinists though would keep their whole shtick though, but they would have a differently named God, cause Jashin obviously isn't in this world.

Title: Jìnghuā Shuǐyuè - Mirror Flower, Water Moon
Description: (heres hoping my idea isnt dumb)
☪ My idea is based on a few Wuxia story ideas combined with my own thoughts.
☪ So far we know there's multiple races from multiple places, but what if they were all on the SAME place, but it's so large there's parts that seem like other continents or worlds.
☪ Picture a huge continent, one so large you could begin walking in a direction and you would most likely die before you reached the end, from dehydration, lack of food, or a monster. It would take years to walk.
☪ If you finally reach the end, hooray! It's an endless ocean, one that you can't traverse without sufficient power or technological advancement. Because of this in the end it seems we're alone, but within this large world like continent there exists old ruins and ancient worship sites from times long past, however within them exists mirror like portals that reflect into another world, one full of beauty and riches, buildings of gold and people flying through the air like angels and Gods.
☪ In reality that world is just an illusion, the portals if unlocked and entered lead to another continent within the seemingly endless planet, one across the once thought endless ocean. Within it were people who knew the ways of the Ninja and the ways of the samurai and every other way of combat, all coalesced into one. Together they controlled both their own continent and our own through the mirrors, via controlling the various leaders of the large villages and powers in our continent.
☪ Through this they slowly began to erase our worlds knowledge of combat, seeking to control our level of growth and power to keep us from growing too strong for them to control or contend with due to the lack of ability to send large amounts of soldiers. This would also extend to the NPC's and such within the world, having rid everything they began to forget, or you could even have it so the large power sent a few powerful people through and erased the thoughts of those weak enough to be influenced in that way.
☪ Basically my idea is to slowly open up the world through in character events revealing more powers within our continent as we realize just how large it is, and how small our thoughts are. However there is ways to get over to the other area, via events that would allow someone to showcase their prowess and mentality, and if deemed worthy by hidden scouts of the power they'd get invited over. Or you can find hidden ruins and ritual sites as I said, but within you'd have to pass traps, monsters, demons and spirits sometimes, and then find a way to open the portal.

Title: The Wellspring of Creation
Description: Part of this is actually something we're already doing, but...
tab An island appears one day in the middle of the ocean something the Anzu appear to be very panicked about. They keep it quiet to themselves that they've seen ancient magic returning to the world, refusing to call it "chakra" as it isn't something the Shinobi knew of. They cannot explain it, and are tight lipped about trying. What matters, however, is the dreams. That night, around the world, those who were asleep and those who were awake experienced a vision of the island, a simple plot of land with trees scattered about. It was quiet, peaceful, until the sky shattered. It began to fall like glass, revealing millions of eyes, mouths, and dark shapes that reach forward towards the lands and ocean that lay outside of the island. An ethereal scream rips across creation as the earth rebels, as the island begins to twist and warp. It stretches to the sides, curving, twisting, growing into the sky as it became a patchwork quilt of seven lands arranged in a circle around a final eighth. Every patch is different, from kingdoms and beautiful forests to lands where gravity is nothing but a plaything.
tab All arranged around a central path, circular, with seven massive walls surrounding it.
tab At the center of this final patch lay a light glowing a color that bore no name and defied description. Yet there, in the way of dreams, is where minds and attention are drawn.
tab From the center open two scarlet eyes glowing with flecks of light that burn with powerful emotion. Yet as time passes they wane in their fiery hue, becoming a vibrant emerald green that pierces the soul and gives the overwhelming sense that it knows all there is to know about the observers. "Your world has broken," it whispers in a voice neither male nor female, sorrowful nor exalted. "There is no going back, only forward. Come, and face the beast before your world is swallowed up forever." All at once the world wakens, snapping to attention. Across the lands portals begin to open, rifts varied in size, shape, and color that all lead to the same place: an ancient, decrepit carnival, one both brimming with life and yet dying. One that beckons for all to enter.
tab The goal of this arc is that other worlds have begun to break into this one, caused by the continued problem with the Gates of Death being filled. As such, the world changes as the other worlds, called the Fractal Worlds, begin to bleed in. The original eruption caused the lands to change, but those of the RPC persuasion have memory. NPCs do not, except those who have directly adventured with RPCs. This leads to out Raid event, our first one in fact, but this would allow people to roleplay the world changing and facing a new, immediate threat that can be defeated at the pace the guild demands.
