No Village is perfect. The Black Cloud District as its referred to while not inherently the most impoverished looking is the most prone to criminal activity. Drug lords, skeevy types, and human traffickers are commonly found here due to its position being the furthest from the police activity. Grafitti is often found everywhere but despite the ever-present scent of homeless urine, for the most part, the district itself in the day seems rather safe and normal. But when the sun sets and darkness blankets the district the true colors of the district start to stand out.
"Good its not demolished. This is it then, the streets lead me here again bloop. I realize now its just on the edge of the Black Cloud District. I best avoid notice. Last I was here I recall the village had yet to rise bloop and I can think of no other inhabitants that would hate to see my face more than these men and women. Mask it is then bloop." Toso would reach into his attire and dawn his mask which bore similariteis to both octopi and the hyotokko masks of festivals and would then take a leap unto the disheveled puppet shops. I mean, if it didn't draw that comparison it would draw a comaparison to those nut spitting monstrosities in that one game with the kid who wore a green tunic.
Anywho, he'd hop on top of the roof wherein there would be the latch for roof access. He'd much prefer not to enter through the front again for the memories of his clone reminded him it was not an ideal place to enter. You typically wouldn't enter a building that said foreclosed and wooden planks nailed into its windows in the first place. He'd land back into the room which lead to the downward spiraling staircase.
He'd enter the old lab area only to find something had changed. The fuuin circle was gone and much to his dismay Toso while incapable of producing a face of shock saw that covering the walls the words GONE were scrawled everywhere in what seemed like blood. What was worse on the table... the body of a woman was strapped to the work table. Toso would approach with a calm but cautious approach. He was uncertain due to the darkness that blanketed the room only illuminated by a single soft green light coming from a desk lamp focusing on the body. He was uncertain if it was alive. As he approached it he'd witness the body seemed or dead. There was no rising in the chest. Toso would check for a pulse...definitively dead.
Where her eyes were there were only dark holes of where the once were. Removed it seemed. To say he was not unsettled would be an understatement, everything involving this woman showed signs of torture at the very least. But what stood out most was beneath her white dress there was a large surgical scar down vertically on the body. He breasts were slightly visible but the cloth for her sake was thick enough to hide them. At least she would die having her spirit know that the Kage would have seen her in such a shameful manner.
"What was he..." Toso's curiosity had gotten the best of him. Being next to the body he reached out towards the scar on the woman only to hear a beep and light emit from her stomach. "SAME!" Toso would shield his face as an explosion filled the room of massive scale filling its entirety with an explosive nature that would send anyone reeling from concussive force alone and equally disgusted by the splattering singed viscera of the gibbed corpse. Had Shion followed him but remained outside she would feel the tremble echo through the ground. Had she followed him and stayed hidden in the Shadows she would be succumbing to its impact just as well within this room no bigger than a study. Toso's condition would be unknown aside from coughing amidst the smoke. He should have known better, but it was deathly apparent now, the target knew he was being pursued or at least knew he would be pursued and had laid traps and Toso took the bait.

SHIONxxxxxMORI Shion followed the kage from a considerable distance, easily putting two blocks between the two as they traveled. It wasnt until Toso made his way into the building that Shion closed the gap... perhaps this wasn't the best idea. As she landed upon the roof of the building just opposite their objective, Shion felt the sudden shake of the blast... and obviously heard the thunderous eruption. She'd feel her body lurch forward, almost acting instinctively to jump into action; luckily, she stopped herself just as quickly. No, he's got this. If he needs help, he'll call me. Over and over, she'd repeat this, and other sentiments reflecting it. He was a big boy now; maybe Toso could finally go on a mission without getting himself captures.
So you see, as stated before whilst he was talking to himself, he nary had any idea that Shion was accompanying him on this mission. After all for the most part he believed that it was his responsibility as both Saiken's host and the village leader to focus on disposing of any ulterior threats while the rest would focus on the main task at hand, which was, of course, the impending war time. Plus this was 'his' promise to Saiken, not any others. It was likely good on Shion to keep herself held back, as she would correct in believing that Toso could fend for himself. "Poison?" He would cease his coughing his body felt a slight tingle. He'd look to his hand and begin opening and closing it. "Paralytic. However, severely diluted. My, I must be quite lucky bloo bloo bloo." Toso stood up unimposed. For you see, such a minor hazard was nothing to him. His blood ran thick perhaps with the corrupted chakra he had taken in from the blood moon then. His knowledge of toxicity from the Ukyo, and in texts combined with his recent acquisition in the fundamentals of the Harmonic Death Arts had granted him this immunity.
As for his state of being. That would be answered by the dent in the wall of the workshop. Toso's skin would begin to flake...or was that his skin? No, it was something else, he hadn't much time to react so instinctively the grey ink known as the metal blend started to peel off his exposed flesh like a cracking eggshell. Emitted from his pores via his unique method he could create an armor for himself while bolstering his offensive and defensive prowess. The gas continued to permeate in the room. No doubt if the one he was pursuing was watching him they'd be aptly irritated wondering why he seemed unphased by the poison on top of him being for the most part unscathed and dusting himself off.
Then came that familiar sound. That familiar sound of rattling. Several little rattlings. Toso would look to the door. The metal door of which still had every dent and mark from his clones visit where it had a run in with a tiny army of deadly marionettes. "Oh dear." Toso would then thusly with his weapon Ikane in hand have its small blade tip jut out the end of the cane. Confident but not cocky he'd make a clone of himself. "Right that should d.." then suddenly his clone began to reel almost in pain. This unsettled him before it started to take a strange facial appearance and spoke. "My apologies I could not contain myself Tosokurui.""Do not scare me like that Sai-chan." Toso would say with a hand on his heart. He'd have almost died of a heart attack..comically speaking.
You see Saiken could tell her sibling was nearby. But aptly decided not to inform her host of this. More over it seemed she directly wanted to participate in the vengeance she desired against the terrorist who had placed her in an innocent child. "I believe that it would be in your best interest to worry less of me and more of them." The Saiken possessed clone would say pointing to the door that was being pounded by mad marionettes and had succumb to their collective strength and broken open. Weak but numerous the sound of exchanging steel would be heard on the roof where Shion was lying in wait. Their voices would carry over in echoes to the roof level above. Had the Nibi decided to state the female voice it could discern as being Saiken's but what would prove more interesting from their exchanging of words would not be her voice but what was being discussed among the clattering of steel and breaking wood.
"So then, Tosokurui-san what is that girl to you." The sound of metal on metal. "Shio-nee? She is a comrade Sai-chan surely that much was obvious bloop." Crushing wood. "I see. Is that all?" the sound of metal clamping and sparks. "Ah, a close friend, I do not see what is your aim here Sai-chan" wood split in two. "You know as well as I my relationship with Homura was one that was mutually beneficial for the two of us. It was no more comparable to a business agreement, the divorce as you call it is just my way of ascertaining she does not get caught up in my dramas now that I'm in this position." The sound of flames, being fired and it striking something resillient and dispersing. "I didn't thick you such a cruel man Tosokurui-san." something slimy sounding striking something and a small explosion. "I'm afraid I don't under..stand... bloop. Have I done something.. wrong?" a hard strike of clashing metal against metal, multiple instances of it. "I am saying women are fragile things Tosokurui and that perhaps your perspective is a bit one sided. As for your comrade, I merely wondered of your affinity as men and women of your kind typically have." a concise sound of multiple pieces of wood splitting. "Homura is no fragile woman Sai-chan and it seems you're inquiring what I think of Shio-nee on a personal level bloop?" Then the sound of walls warping to a sudden influx of something. "However, *pained grunt*, deep down I believe she has others interests at heart, that she is a kind woman but like many of us are, is uncertain of who and what she wants to be. In that sense, I suppose she is not unlike my soon to be ex-wife bloop." the sound of a massive destructive force and then silence. "What about her as a woman in general?" "*pained grunt* You're oddly curious today aren't you Sai-chan? I suppose while Shio-nee lacks certain endowments I find it somewhat appealing that this is the case. I can't see her as anything but what she is bloop. A lovely young lady with a fire, that would make a man somewhere very happy someday. Bloobloobloo *grunt* but if that's not satisfying enough for you Sai-chan perhaps I'd go so far as to call her cute."
If Shion were to make her presence known now at the point she'd enter Toso would be sitting down on the edge of the wall taking a breather. The floor would be covered in marionette corpses and splintered wood and the clone Saiken had possessed would poof as having known all along Shion was nearby having successfully toyed with her host enough. Where Toso was taking his breather had a pool of blood primarily dripping from a severely wounded tentacle.

Explosions, chaos, the sounds of conflict; all of it screamed and tugged at her very base instincts to help her own. A watchful crouch turned to a readied stand which turned into anxious pacing. Something was wrong and here she was, standing and waiting. Orders sucked. Leadership sucked. She could be doing so much more to help if she was only allowed to do as she wanted. Sparks of the bakuton chakra that had become her signature flared up in the girl's hands as she milked her fists."Calm down. He's fine." The Nibi's purr, usually a source of distress, carried a soothing tone. She was right, of course. Toso would have had several methods of contacting her... also his bijuu would have sprung out into the open if anything had happened. The sparks died down as Shion steadied her breath in an attempt to calm her nerves. Anxious pacing turned into a readied stand which turned into a watchful crouch. "C'mon, idiot. Dont make me break anymore bones for you..." she'd whisper, waiting for her signal.
"Ah.." Toso sighed having caught his breathe. Looking at his disfigured if not maimed limb. Where its face was, bore only a frown, a sign of its otherwise dead if not dying state of being. He realized the reasoning behind the low end paralytic gas. Even slightly restricted movements would have proved tedious to perform against said onslaught of one hundred little wooden death toys. Even when it was two against one it proved its own challenge. Only solely if for the fact it was a confined area. The one hundred that Toso fought off back in Core, well it was much easier to pace around them, he also had covering fire from the agents. "No matter how many times it happens I never look forward to this bloop." Toso would say to himself with a stony tone. Meanwhile, Saiken would privately send message to her nearby 'sister'. Matatabi and Saiken's brethern were at their cores genderless but depending on how they felt it often varied. Such as with Toso Saiken preferred to be referred to as a She with others a He. Slugs and snails in all actuality were both. Although in the past Matatabi referred to itself with female inclinations and Saiken would have this leaning.

Taking a deep breathe and soon a swallow what sounded like a sickly pop followed by wet fluid like sound occurred. A new tentacle replacing the other would burst forth and retreat back into the mans back. Toso then for the moment lost his composure and howled as he exhaled. "GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUAH!" It was never fun, it was a painful experience, had he someone by his side to have done it for him it would likely have been less painful but free of anyone spectating he could let loose his pained voice for once. Without another word Toso would look down into the depth of the lower staircase leading into the shop basement. The dark basement which was once filled with those ravens devoid of any light. Placing a finger on his chin now in the darkness, he pondered before hearing what sounded like skittering. THAT WAS NOT GOOD. He remembered he had lenses which had night vision properties but applying them here and now especially whilst wearing his mask would have been terribly inefficient. A tactical retreat. Perhaps it would have rung clear as day...assuming Toso's own Bijuu wasn't in a playful mood. Shion's message would be cut off and then made to sound irritated. Essentially what was supposed to be "Is that it? We done here?" was warped into "THATS IT?!" "Shio-nee?" The squid kage would turn his head to see Shion was opposite of him only to look back at the hatch wondering what he'd done wrong, more over why was Shion here, he didn't dislike the fact but still, he was fully prepared to do this ALONE. Toso was confused with what he'd heard and naturally defaulted to Saiken for guidance as her message seemed angry. Saiken of course decided to expedite the process. Telling Toso that he'd told Shion everything he'd said. Which of course wasn't true. Naturally, Toso defaulted into a slight panic. He didn't know how to handle women specifically angered women. Flashbacks to Homura and her body presses into furniture just for saying her hair looked frizzled. Was Shion not satisfied with his praises? Toso would then mutter to himself, if Saiken told her everything that means she must have told her the brash and brazen parts as well. Oh no, if that was the case then Toso understood how his praised were nowhere near enough. "I have to fix this." Meanwhile Saiken was laughing to herself.

In fact if not for you I'd have likely abandoned Arashigakure." Toso looked out to the sea of clouds. "Kaileer, Wanryoku, Hakanai, Nathaniel, Miko, Even Unk-nee and Shiro despite returning. They all left or pursued careers, the remnants of the original village in the clouds..you were the only one left. Without you I..."
The moment was cut short as suddenly the puppet shop would erupt into an explosive flame. Eerie carnival music would begin to play. The explosion enough was startling but nothing was coming out of it. "AH! They're burning any evidence bloop!" He'd say in a rather stoic manner before he put his mask back down and took a leap toward the flaming building before gathering water in his free hand to snuff it out. At least permeating flames would serve as sufficient lighting for whatever was on the lower floor.

SHIONxxxxxMORI Oh goodness. He was doubling down? "What? No... not that just, jeez shut up, nerd." She'd interject, cutting off his rambling compliments. Though she didn't really mind the compliments, the remarks about being a great wife certainly threw her off. Shion was never really the kind to see herself getting into a long term relationship. Most of her affairs were brief flings with random people she'd met. The thought of settling down with someone just felt alien to her...
"Of course I'm here. It's been like... a day, dude. You said i could join so long as I stood watch and waited for your signal if you needed help. How could you forget?" A long pause. "I'm not going anywhere. Sure, it aint Cloud, sure, all our friends are gone, and sure, you got some dorks in charge around here, but I'm not going anywhere." Another pause would permeate the air. The blast would not startle the girl; you really think an explosion would phase Shion? Please. The girl blew up more times, willingly or not, than she could remember. It was just another constant in her life. Explosions and awkward interactions with co-workers... and a shitty reputation, but she kind of liked the bad girl label that had been attributed to her. "With what, dude? I'm only good at starting fires. Undoing explosions aint really my gig, man."
When questioned, the fact of the matter being he'd already taken a charge, so there would be no answer to Shion's question as to 'what she could do' however that would be answered shortly for as soon as the squid dove in he'd face a concussive burst launching him back. From the wreckage, the sound of carnival music began to echo. These eerie like tones echoing through the slums. Kenshin had made the report evacuations had already begun which was good as no person was currently in the vicinity. Toso would feel heavier just from the sound of it. As would Shion, where was it coming from? It would need some form of sensory divination but it was indeed somewhere amidst the smoke and rubble. Speaking of smoke, as if making an entrance on an acting stage where the building once stood small shadows loomed. Toso would land next to Shion. "Well. Looks like they've grown tired of hiding."
The smoke cleared, ominous eyes flashing. The following creations of wood making themselves known.
A Puppet that is a large Trojan Horse. Albeit with appearing to have opposable limbs in the center. A doll, resembling porcelain dolls found on antique shelves. Sporting curly blonde hair and white bloodstained gown, an oversized half of bloody rusty looking scissors in hand. Opposite of her a similar doll with a similar weapon only hair raven black and gown dark with similar stains. They were on opposite sides of the horse to each other staring blankly at the two nin with their empty glass-like eyes. Finally atop the horse a wind-up soldier with a key in its back. It initially not seeming very intimidating standing only four feet tall but raising its hand a massive blade larger than it perhaps eight feet long would be held in its hands as if it were a common plaything.
Not mere seconds later did they being their assault. The clacking of porcelain the shaking of wooden joints but their puppet master missing. The black haired Porcelain doll would have zoomed its way through the air as puppets do to unleash behind her from its mouth an assortment of wires that would spread large and wide like a spiders web which would bind her immediately should it land. Similarly, her sister would open its mouth and from hers, several chakra threads would be emitted attaching to her fellow puppets in an eerie overture adding to the eerie musics cadence.
As soon as this was done. The house-sized giant horse-like puppet would rear back and leap as heavyweights took the place of its hooves. Then building Shion and Toso were standing on would then be demolished with the intent of crushing the nin. Followed up, before any breathers could be taken the puppet a top the horse after a quick pulling back of the four-legged beast by the hidden puppeteer the toy soldier would obliterate the remaining area with a huge glowing red chakra projectile focused on the duo.
What Happened

They then begin to snake around a target restricting movement and digging into flesh. Following auto grappling rules the technique succeeds and an amount of stamina equal to the entanglement must be spent to break free. SHIONxxxxxMORI The second blast, followed by the creeping orchestral music immediately sent Shion on the defensive. Though it looked like she would remain stationary, the puppet's string attack and the horse's kicks would both similarly miss their mark despite actually hitting their mark. As bladed tendril and hoof collided with the girl's body, they'd both phase through a flickering mirror image as the real Shion would appear behind the string-puppet, delivering a punch capped off with enough Bakuton chakra to level a city block... only it was aimed squarely at its backside.

Toso simultaneously being targeted by the same onslaught of attacks aside the binding technique of the porcelain doll decided to immediately use the oppertunity to gather what little information he could while he entrusted Shion's ability to handle herself in evading the dolls' assault. When the Trojan horse took its leap Toso reacted by drawing forth his shield. Toso was one who analyzed the field of battle rather than go in guns blazing. These were puppets. That meant there was a puppeteer. Where was the puppeteer? He looked carefully for the reflection of chakra strings in the air at the sound of the horse's leap he tried not to concern himself with it. What little time he had he'd catch a choice glimpse leading to where the former stairs were that lead into the dark basement. 'There' Is what he'd think to himself. Toso would then raise the large shield above him as the building the duo were standing on crumbled from the moment of impact but Toso stayed firm in stance as he legs landed a floor down. He would endure the beasts trampling where Shion would dodge while trying to take in his surroundings.
When the beast retreated he knew there could not be a moment's rest if he assumed the puppeteer wanted them dead there was still one more minion which had yet to act. In his other hand his cane would twirl readied. A large red projectile was launched from the windup soldiers massive blade. Toso would take a quick glimpse at Shion who was focusing her attack on the dark colored doll. Ignorant of the attack incoming. It was up to him then. A glint in the mans glasses as Toso leapt toward the projectile, with a horizontal sweeping motion from his cane came a swathe of ink from its tip like a fountain pen. Colliding with the technique it would vanish as if never having existed. Toso would then shout loudly "SHION! I'm going to see about fishing out the ring leader bloop! Do try to hold out until then!" This was said right at the peak of her explosive blast towards the black porcelain doll.
Question was, how would Toso get to the area in which he suspected. The white porcelain, the trojan horse, and the wind up soldier had gathered around the location. Toso would think to himself. I suppose making it as inhospitable as possible would suffice.' The thought came to him. Still that annoying music persisted...it was really starting to give him a headache. Toso would then inhale deeply before releasing a spray of lime colored ink from his mouth. It seemed like he was targetting the horse but instead it was concentrated on the rubble which covered that passageway that lead below ground. The rubble would begin to melt, and with his hiding place outted the person would make his exit quickly before the rubble caved in atop of them. As the rubble collapsed and what seemed like a rotund being jumped out the music intensified. A tiny umbrella in one hand and the other seemingly occupied per finger manipulating the puppets he'd land atop what could only be considered a circus ball that appeared beneath his feet in confetti. This didn't look like any ordinary human and the stiffness of its movements implied something to Toso. This was either another puppet or the puppeteer was nested within. A puppet which manipulated other puppets however, that was a terrifying concept in its own if it were true.

With its garish arrival. First, its pinky would move. The porcelain doll which was confronting Shion's blast zoomed completely behind her as if having performed a shunsin, this, however, was not the case. Puppets were not humans, they were not confined to the limitations humans had such as the need to build momentum. Shion would have had to have gone airborne to have met with the doll as after all a majority of a puppeteers puppets 'flew'. In fact it was this freedom of movement that made them particularly deadly as a ninja tool. Shion's attack of course was released an when it was Toso would have to remind her after several homes as shitty and shoddy as they were in this district were obliterated simply because they were shoddy enough that the feedback from the released attack was more than enough. It also decreased the amount of footing attainable in the area on which to land. "SHION! I REALIZE THIS IS INTENSE BUT THIS IS STILL THE VILLAGE! YOU MUST CONTAIN YOURSELF IF YOU CAN TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY." Then an echoing voice came from the being balanced atop a ball that seemed loud enough to resonate through the general area as if shouting. Although comparably it would be like the sound of a PA system. "Disgusting. Miserable. Disgusting. Playthings." its pinky finger moved again. The doll behind Shion would brandish its scissor-like blade and swing downward down the length of her back while she was still in mid-air. Taking into account the time it took to speak for both Toso and the clown looking thing Shion would at least be given enough time to maneuver in the air just enough to dodge normally if she opted not to shunsin, that is, if she wasn't caught off guard or by surprise by the puppets movements and Toso's words which while certainly not the intent could have painted Shion embarrassingly incompetent. Even though she likely very well knew better but simply didn't know her own strength. Really it was districts own fault for being poorly constructed.
"Why do you exist...WHY! WHY! WHY WHY WHY!" The rotund things back seemed to snap backward making a sound similar to a bone snapping its face looking directly into the sky as its fingers moved madly and the umbrella was thrown to the side. The other hand beginning to move wildly as well. As he wildly chimed on in incomprehensible mumbles like a whale-shaped drive thru speaker simultaneously the following would occur. A smoke billowed beneath Toso a mole like a puppet with a bowtie would erupt beneath him which would force him to move or suffer the consequences as a drill like nose shot upward. On top of the attack from the black dressed doll Shion would suddenly find that some form of clockwork owl was swooping down on her from her front with its aim being to claw at both her arm with each independent talon. Should she move away the wind-up soldier would have leaped to intercept as its hand would shoot out towards one of her legs. If it was successful she'd have been rapidly reeled towards the soldier to be struck down by its eight foot blade.
Meanwhile, Toso again would be getting trampled with his shield held up to resist, but not without becoming pincered. The white porcelain doll behind him as he held his shield upwards wielding her rusty beheading scissors. Ready to swing horizontally across his back while it was going to be required to have his shield arm up and occupied. Then as if taking a dump from inside the horse puppets rear cavity a hatch opened. The spider-like a puppet with a human skull for a head fell out of it crawled down the horse's length and was making a beeline towards the defending squid where it would thrust itself forward all its legs splayed outward ready to apply a vice. A puppet master was capable of manipulating a puppet per finger, could this deranged thing be that skillful? If he was, there was now eight maybe nine puppets on the field including the rotund one, where was the last? More over was he just toying with the two of them?

Tier Three puppets only have to pay 5 chakra to dodge any attack. This technique's usage matches that of the dodge system.

SHIONxxxxxMORI Did Toso really have that little faith in her? C'mon, dude. She'd been blowing up, willingly or not, for the past five years or so. Did he really think she hadn't learned a trick or two on how to control the damage? Whatever. It didn't matter right now; what mattered was stopping these puppets. Toso had elected to find the source, which left Shion with the grunt work. The upside was, as far as she could tell, she could perform entirely uninhibited so long as she try to keep damage to a minimum. "Matatabi, I'm gonna need some help on this one. Just a little extra juice, if you would." As usual, she'd get no response. Well, no verbal response at least. The black and blue chakra that was the Nibi's signature flooded around Shion, creating a thin blue cloak ending in a single tail. With the surge of new energy flowing through her, she'd be more than ready to take on... what... three or four puppets? Let's go, boys.
The scissor swipe at her back was an easily predictable move. Not to be outdone in a show of agility, Shion would once again flicker only to appear behind the puppet while a mirror image took the blow. Unfortunately, she could not follow through on the attack as she'd wanted as apparently a new puppet had appeared and decided to make her its enemy. In a snap, Shion stretched out one palm at both of the puppets approaching her, rather than commit both palms to one puppet, and let out two simultaneous explosions. The one directed downward would be a controlled burst to avoid too much damage to the surroundings, but the one aimed up at the owl would damn well be nearly full power.
Shion couldn't take proper account of how well her attacks paid off however, as, once again, another set of projectiles came at her. She was more than ready for them this time. Think you know how she got out of this one? That's right, Mirror Images. The blades would slip through the girl's body, dispersing her form as the real Shion landed safely on the ground below.

Simultaneously as Shion kept her assailants at bay Toso did the same. The same trick again would prove no match once more when faced with his shield. Of course, the real intent was made clear, it was only to apply pressure so that the mole puppet could make its appearance. He had to move or attack but the black clouds that were being exhumed as it drilled upwards towards him was fulfilling its purpose. That purpose being Toso's lack of being able to see the approaching Mr.Skullyhugginz and the duo of Toso and Shion being unable to see each other vice a versa. Still to believe Toso was cornered would be a mistake. Moreover the puppeteer likely assumed he would run from the upwards drilling mole but rather he'd raise his cane. A stab through the peeking head. A faint trace of red eyes through the black smoke the wafting breeze of a dress behind him. Had he been a normal human with two limbs the attacks would have landed without fail but Toso was no normal human he was with no shadow of a doubt a Hojo. A tentacle would fire itself from his back to collide and send the spider puppet packing although not without some minor glancing wounds from its legs, while the other would clash with the porcelain dolls blade biting down on it like a dog would a bone to disarm the puppet by causing its blade to shatter into fragments. That when he would hear it. The alarm. The war. The attack it was happening now of all times. Toso would enter a momentary loss.
