Weapons Class: [Easy Mode]
Implies a broader range of weapon utilisation. Maybe like how Tamer Class characters can specialise in larger packs of companions, the Weapon Class gains no benefits to specific weapons but instead... range of techniques? Perks gained via diversity of Weapon Styles acquired?

Ranged option? Sacrifice stamina for mana and a perk of placing techniques onto projectiles, and technique activating upon impact?



Knight Class: [Normal Mode]
Dedicated to one weapon (+a shield option) and slightly more focused to chakra? More limited in number of techniques and limitation of styles due to its dedication to one weapon. Give bonus to one style choice being selected over all others? Defensive Discipline orientated?



Warrior Class: ['Hard' Mode]
User of Words. Does not gain extra stamina/mana for disciplines, instead Words for effects.

Weapons Class


tab Description:
Weapon techniques are attacks that utilize various forms of powerful tools in order to achieve severe and swift results. Those of this class do not claim mastery of a single weapon, but rather the ability to pick up and skillfully utilise almost any weapon.

tab Notes / Reminders:
Weapon Casting: An optional aspect of the Weapons Class user; these characters can activate techniques through their weapon's attacks and/or movements in place of hand-seals. This does not cast the technique from the weapons. When first selecting the Weapon Class, determine if you want to use your hands or weapons as the medium for activating techniques. This choice cannot be undone, and the opposite now takes two [ 2 ] ranks higher in cost to otherwise activate, suffering all ill-effects associated, if any.

tab Specialization:
• Instantly gain five [ 5 ] additional Stages of Learning {Weapon}, as well as one [ 1 ] point increase in either Power or Agility.

Infused Weapons Able to use any technique via your weapon (where logical). Where any Weapon Class user is able to activate a technique, it is another matter entirely to use the weapons as an extension of where the technique is cast from. This is most useful for longer ranged weapons rather than daggers, knuckles, etc.

By the Blade A nominated blade-orientated weapon is the preferred one to wield, gaining a five [ 5 ] stamina reduction in technique costs and one [ 1 ] post reduction for every Stage of Learning based around bladed weapons that is fully learned.

Blunt-Force Trauma Nominate a weapon that inflicts blunt-force damage, gaining a five [ 5 ] stamina reduction in technique costs and an extra one [ 1 ] rank bonus to the Defence of the weapon.

Knight Class


tab Description:
The Knight is a very specific weapons user able to masterfully utilise heavy armor, shields, and a list of specific weapons. A Knight is dedicated to their weapon of choice—acting as if it were a beloved member of the family. Knights weild weapons such as one-handed and two-handed swords, polearms, shields (bucklers to towers), flails, and axes.

Infused Armor: By reserving a cost of forty [ 40 ] chakra, with a reduction of ten [10] chakra per two [ 2 ] experience ranks starting at D-rank, the character may choose one [ 1 ] of their elements and apply it to their armor. The element chosen cannot be changed. This element hardens the wearer against its effects, granting a D-ranked Defense without a scale against that element. Affects all armor worn. This does not prevent the armor from taking durability damage. If the armor is removed or destroyed, the effect ends on those pieces. Activating and deactivating this ability takes one [ 1 ] activation.

Warrior Class


tab Description:
The Warrior utilizes posture, breathing, and precise movement to fight. When selecting this discipline the Warrior gains access to one [1] “Word” per rank, which can be activated by setting aside a reserve of forty [ 40 ] mana. This cost is reduced by ten [ 10 ] mana for every two [ 2 ] experience ranks gained, starting at D-rank. There is no duration for their effects, and can be maintained indefinitely [edit this?] until switching to another. It takes one [ 1 ] activation to activate the new effect. Only one [ 1 ] Word can be active at any time.

The Word of Wisdom: By focusing one’s mind through measured breathing, the Word of Wisdom keeps the user’s heart beating in the same, steady level and clears the mind of distraction. In this state, emotional based effects are reduced by one [1] rank in strength, and strikes become more precise, granting [1] rank increase to the Damage rank of an attack.

The Word of Valiance: Focusing one’s body by tightening the muscles and readying yourself for what might come is the heart of the Word of Valiance. Choose one effect upon activation: Increase the Defense of one [1] Weapon or Armor by a D-rank amount or increase your Dodge bonus by a D-rank amount. This bonus increases by one [1] rank per two [2] experience ranks, starting at D-rank.

The Word of Restoration: A combination of breathing and careful movement, the Word causes one’s natural Chakra and Stamina reserves to recover more quickly. Your recovery rate increases by one [1] step. Likewise, healing techniques used on you are considered one [1] rank stronger in effectiveness, and natural healing time is reduced by one fourth [25%].

These are so extensive as 'Disciplines' that they feel like their own sub-class. Feel free to put back into the Class, but I'm editing these for my original idea.

Juggernaut - Suggested turned into its own Style

Brute: The character gains the ability to wield over-sized weapons without the Intensive Weaponry proficiency. Likewise, by reserving [40] Chakra, with a decrease in cost of ten [10] chakra per two [2] experience ranks starting at D-rank, the Brute is able to either wield over-sized weapons with one [1] hand or wear any armor without penalty. The choice is made upon activation, and cannot be changed until the ability is reactivated. Takes one [1] activation to activate and deactivate.

Armamentalist: The quintessential “elemental knight”, taking the path of the Armamentalist allows one the benefit of adding elemental effects to their weapons and armor. By reserving a cost of [40] chakra, with a reduction of ten [10] chakra per two [2] experience ranks starting at D-rank, the character may add on of the following benefits to their equipment. Activating and deactivating these abilities takes one [1] activation, and only one [1] effect can be active at once.
    Weaponry: The character chooses one [1] of their elements and cause it to burst into life upon their weapon. This causes the weapon to deal additional D-rank spiritual damage of that element when striking. This will scale up once per two [2] experience ranks, starting at D-rank, meaning at S-rank the additional damage would be B-rank.
    Armor: The character may selected one [1] of their elements and harden themselves against its effects, granting a D-ranked Defense without a scale against that element. This increases by one [1] rank per two [2] experience ranks, starting at D-rank. Affects all armor worn. This does not prevent the armor from taking durability damage. If the armor is removed or destroyed, the effect ends on those pieces.
