Age: 23
Nameday: 3552.10.10
Sex: Male
Sexual Orientation: Homosexual
Previous Rank/Craft: Healer, Journeyman
Rider Rank: Dragon Healer
Weyr: Western Weyr
Physical Description: Terreth is tall and fair skinned, with long red hair perpetually pulled out of his face in a tight ponytail. His nose is thin, long and flat, placed between to almond shaped brown eyes. His face is graceful, cheekbones distinct and regal, lips thin and plain and topped with a mole he’s always disliked.
Physically, he has the lean muscle required to move injured or sick patients, but is certainly not built like a warrior or body builder.
Personality: Terreth is a warm, friendly sort of person, with a collected demeanor. He flourishes helping others, and since a young age has taken on a very care-taker sort of role with anyone around him. Be it animals or people, no living thing is too small or too great for him to care for.
Because of his gentle nature and big-heartedness, Terreth can take on too much work, or allow others to take advantage of him. He is – without a doubt – a lover and not a fighter.
Despite growing up - effectively - a healer’s apprentice, Terreth is often apprehensive of his own skills, and worries about whether or not he’s doing the best work he can. Likewise, he worries about what path he should be on, and where he should truly be dedicating the majourity of his time.
Positive Trait List Kind/caring, Hardworking, Generous
Negative Trait List Overworks / Workaholic, Appeasing / Pushover, Worrisome and insecure.
History: Born to a pair of healers, Terreth never knew his mother through anything but stories growing up. Shortly after birth, she fell ill and passed quietly in her sleep. Her heart was kind and radiant, with room for everything and everyone within it.
Raised by his father and tales, Terreth took healing very seriously and adopted a personality often compared to his mother’s.
Since youth, Terreth assisted his father in all manner of things, from gathering medicinal plants to resetting bones and crafting medical supplies. As his father aged, he took on more physical tasks as well, such as woodcutting, hunting, and even cooking.
He was pleasantly resigned to a life becoming the next healer in the family, carrying on the names of his father and mother.
Despite this, Terreth couldn’t help but fantasize about the dragonriders, protecting the people from the threat of the Thread; a cause he found most noble, and spoke volumes to his caring heart. Nevertheless, it was always regarded as lofty dream – nothing more.
This was especially enforced in the year 3572, when the Thread returned. The surprise and resulting massacre seemed to affect everyone and everything; Terreth included.
His father passed in the first Threadfall after several thousand years, leaving Terreth holding up the role of a late-Master Healer.
Though trained from a young age, Terreth is only a journeyman, and works his hardest to fill in the void between journeyman and master.
Other: Terreth aims to be self-sufficient, and though he has no consummate skill in things like archery, mending, or cooking, he can do well enough to get by on his own.
BAH Sorry its so long.
DRAGON
Name: Solith
Age: 1
Color: Green
Size: 21’
Physical Description: Small, spry and green. Solith has a lovely hide dabbled in little green spots, almost akin to a fawn.
Personality: Though somewhat stubborn and strong willed, Solith shares her Rider’s compassion and kind heart. She’s calm and level headed, and sticks to her values - as it were.
She brings a sense of confidence to T’eth; The ability to stand up for himself and his ethics.
To her, T’eth instills the ability to go with the flow a bit more readily, and to know when to cool the fires of a strong will.
Solith can be something of a busybody - or nosy, as some may say - wanting to keep a keen and watchful eye over injured dragons and allies alike. She’ll spend time with sick and ailing dragons to comfort them, and has occasionally tried to peer into places to watch over humans as well. In fact, she’s been known to push her head into large enough windows, or doors, to check on others - knocking over drapes, tables, and other things in the process. Solith either doesn’t understand or care when she’s shooed away with annoyance for breaking the flower vase for the 23rd time this turn. Simply, she’ll snuff in mild irritation and head on her way to complete her “rounds”.
She has a great deal of comfort around others, and knows it’s a part of the job for her Rider to spend time with others as well, and doesn’t suffer any particular jealousy.
