A man in shinobi uniform came up with a wheelbarrow. The student just happened to be along his path. "Hmmm, no," the person in passing optimistically, however weary, chimed in as he paused to place the wheelbarrow. He gestured at the mess that was once a building. "You're pretty much there! See, look at this swarm of ninja and police. " A swarm, indeed. The wounded were cleared, mostly. Just about anyone left was busy occupied with the clean up. What wounded the student may have noticed were just ninja with a dusty bandage wrapped over a scrape: proof of their clean escape from the toppling tower. The first quarter of clean up was under way where service people were already hauling off debris. No use having the old broken bits in the way of the new. Wasting chakra on the matter didn’t seem to be the first method of action. "In fact, the woman running the operation is," he snapped his fingers, flicking his wrist and pointed dramatically to the Sadayo standing among a growing pile of recovered documents. "Right over there!"

Ayumu arched a skeptical eyebrow at the man pushing his wheelbarrow. ‘What the hell is this guy on about?’ He thought. Obviously this wasn’t the Hokage’s office. Why would the leader of the village have their office at a demolition site? Ayumu’s eyes traced a path between this kind stranger's overly-dramatic gesture and a woman with, what he would describe as “large” hair. He turned his attention back to the wheelbarrow-man and jabbed a thumb in Sadayo’s general direction. “She’s in charge? Great, thanks for the deets my guy.”
The blonde boy hauled his luggage over towards Sadayo. He paused a few feet away and dropped the duffel in his hand. “Well,” he started to say, but the lengthy pause afterward made it fairly clear that he didn’t have any intention of adding to the interjection. Instead he crossed his arms and tapped a finger rapidly on his bicep. When the response he was expecting, for his lack-of-a-question-question still did not come, he pursed his lips and tossed his arms to the side with a huff. “I'm in a friggin' hurry. Can you tell me where the Hokage is already?”
The man's reply was flat, confused some, and more concise as he continued to gesture toward the lady, ”Over there.” It was easy to forget students didn’t know the Shadow’s face. ”Right there. Same woman.” He traversed to side of his wheelbarrow, collecting a sizable, hefty block with both arms. ”She is the Hokage.” The uniformed man managed the weight like it wasn’t much struggle and carried out a practiced effort before chucking the block aside of the path. He dusted his hands and cast a glance in her direction. ”She has been the Hokage for about six months now." His attention set on the mansion building as he shook his head and scoffed, "Ugh. What a mess. ” His path resumed to the wheelbarrow where he plucked a few precarious pieces of snapped painted lumber. He smirked upon his turn and he called over shoulder, ”heh. Maybe she’ll put you to work here.”

Branded like an animal, I can still feel them burning in my mind.
With introducy done with the Hokage, and getting a premise of what is going to be expected of her as a Hidden Leaf shinobi, she stays within her animal form as she would leave the office. She has to meet more people, the desire burns brighter within her, though she wonders about the youthful ones, the ones that could be younger then her. So without further do, she proceeds out of the office keeping her tails tucked close to her body so that she doesn't potentially damage the office any further then what it has suffered. As she would go down to the steps away from the office, she would use her nose sniffing in her six tail fox form which would look normal. She would then use her quick reflexes as a fox to leap across roof tops towards the Academy and can hear children from a distance.

The red-head would pause as she saw the triple-ponytails holding out her palm. From what Nagisa had heard of the Hokage, which was often dipped in hyperbole, this lady did match that description. However, being that she did not confirm she was the Hokage Sadayo, Nagisa would hold it and state softly, "I mean no disrespect, ma'am. But, I can only show this to the Hokage Sadayo. And you did not tell me that's you... As a side note I really love the pony tails, they really suit your kind of sassy appearance! I want to think and believe it is you, but for something as important as this I need some kind of proof. Can you do one of those crazy puppet tricks I've heard you do?" Nagisa was not trying to be difficult, but given Himitsu's degree of importance, she thought delivering this to the wrong person was unacceptable. Even if the Hokage was going to be angry or mad at her, perhaps she'd appreciate the focus on security.

A solemn, yet thankful nod to him was the boys way of showing gratitude for this information. He reluctantly made his way over to where the woman was located, leaving his duffel bag on the ground where he dropped it. Clearly it wasn't full of any important items. She seemed to already be engaged in conversation with another young person, so Ayumu cleared his throat, then glared at the Hokage. His attitude aside, Ayumu did have at least enough patience and manners to not directly cut into the conversation.
Her hand was withdrawn. They really didn’t recognize their Fire Shadow. Sadayo’s neutral exterior crumpled with an ascending brow. “I see…” She was quick with a flick of the wrist. The act disperses extensions of bright orange lines to tether her fingertips to a stack of boxes. "I can,” she replied, slowly processing the request. “But I won’t.” Paper cubes typically didn’t come with malleable joints. It wasn’t without effort that Sadayo was able to make boxes bounce up and down, thunking, dusting themselves in a tidy leaping succession. ” I could make you dance, instead, if you'd like. It's easy. You’d just have to let me lead and not let yourself go limp like a wet noodle." It was a single handed effort that Sadayo had a free hand to adjust her cape’s long scalloped collar. But that free hand was covertly at work with strings. One such colorless string had been flung onto the message. ”How ‘bout it?” Was that enough proof? Although, how far did she have to go to convince a student?

Without really processing what Sadayo was suggesting, Nagisa nodded and kind of closed her eyes thinking this was somehow necessary for this little show. "I mean I wasn't aware you could puppet people too, but I guess that's probably a thing. I should probably have paid more attention in the academy's puppetry class, but I was a bit too preoccupied with history class and stuff about crows." Relaxing her body, Nagisa sort of seemed to surrender herself to the situation. If this wasn't the Hokage, it probably wouldn't be much of a hurdle for this individual just knock her out and steal the scroll with vital information at this point. But, for some reason she felt like it most likely really was the Hokage, and could trust them. "Well, go ahead and do the thing, whatever it is you mean by making me dance... For the record I'm not good at it. I have no rythm."

As the discussion between the Hoakge and the academy student seemed to wind down slightly, a figure was suddenly visible standing beside the pair. Although known by both, the student might be surprised to find the man far bloodier and battle-worn than their recent encounter. His armor was scuffed and worn, and large swaths of blood were apparent across it, although it was unclear whether it was his or others. Himitsu silently made eye contact with the kage, revealing to her how far his dojutsu had advanced since their semi-recent adventure to the north. He gave off a sinister vibe as he silently looked about the ruins of the kage's office. After a moment, he finally spoke, his usual joyful tone instead flat and dispondent. "Gods, it's still like this? Just say the word and I can make you a perfectly functional office in an instant. At least until you get a proper office under way." As he spoke he removed a rolled sheet of paper from his vest. After unrolling it he reached behind him and cut the tip of one of his fingers just slightly on his windmill shuriken, then dabbed it quickly on the scroll near the bottom before tossing it to the kage. "They're there. Miki and Nimure are on-site, along with another host. I left a clone to monitor, but there's an insane barrier preventing progress." After finishing, he looked down to the student. "Good work. Not sure you want to be here for this next bit though. Just remember I warned you..."

The combined sight of witnessing one who sent a carrier and was now appearing with something else wasn't something she could just verbally stumble over. “There's still clean up and organization-" Having caught the second message, this officially made two items from one Himitsu. What were the odds the first one was all a game? The timing of it all felt strange. The look on Sadayo's face was hard thought (or downright skepticism). The yellow bar painted over her lips parted some as her brow crumpled. Sights squinting, generously scrutinizing the new, bloodied note. It went without saying that some part of her was grossed out.
“For formality's sake and to make sure we're all on the same page. Where are they and why?" Damn the details of why she was asking. Follow-ups were important and Himitsu was here to tell it all if he had to! Like a note intercepted among school children, she waggled the message plucked from the student. "And this is records now." She even opened Nagisa's delivery with a practiced flick and tried the same with the new scroll. She didn't have a table at her side, just boxes, but Sadayo had a grip on whipping out sudden flashy tricks if all she needed to do was hold paper and read. It was here, finally, she gave a gentle skewed nod to approach toward the boy who was waiting patiently. He was ninja. He wasn't barred from Himitsu’s message if they were all standing in open air.

Something she had hoped this mission would lead her to achieving. It was presumptuous of Himitsu to think she was just going to wander off and not do as she had been advised. "Oh, it's the guy who gave me the scroll to give to the boss... What exactly-... Jinchuurikis? Jashin? I feel like I'm not really... ranked high enough to be privy to this information... maybe I should- Oh you're just going to keep going, okay. I'm here. I'll just errm... stand here." She quietly scooched over standing facing the two power houses of Konoha in a very deep conversation.
She did not know what about the grouped named Jashin seemed to disgust and creep her out. It was an absurd feeling of both fear and hatred which seemed to seethe within her. The fact they went after this man who was willing to entrust such a mission of importance to her. Nagisa, felt it was personal. They needed to be judged. They were a disease on this world. As Himitsu mentioned joining an operation to pursue the Jashinists, Nagisa would step forward and exclaimed, for some reason, she felt compelled, "...Bring me with you! I want to help. I... I am more talented than I look." A bold fire and energy seemed to reside from within her, the nervousness now disappearing. "I don't know anything about this world. I've always been coddled. And been told I can't leave the village or go anywhere that's dangerous. But I chose this path to protect the innocent. We know the risks with being kunoichi. Let me put my life on the line... For you. For Konoha."

Ayumu watched patiently as the woman who was supposedly the Hokage dealt with the girl making some sort of delivery to her. He made a few faces as he eavesdropped on their conversation. The girl volunteered to be strung up like a puppet, which seemed like a weird offer to make. He could understand where she was coming from, though. The Hokage was supposed to be an incredibly skilled puppeteer, so maneuvering a willing human being should be an easy task.
The ponytail wearing woman pulled a fast one on her. Instead of attaching strings to the girl, she instead used what he assumed was an invisible chakra thread to pull something from her hand, then gave her a warning on the dangers of being a living puppet.
Ayumu began to check out after that. He started glancing around, bending his leg to bounce his toes repeatedly against the ground. He was still half-listening as a bloodied guy appeared and entered into a much heavier dialogue with the Hokage. He didn't mind. Patience was a virtue, after all. When the Hokage gave him a signal to approach, Ayumu stuffed his hands into his pockets and moved closer. Cocky little s**t even had the nerve to look the Hokage up and down as he closed the distance.
As the blood covered guy pressed on in his report, Ayumu suddenly made a face of disgust and spat on the ground. "Gross, Jashinism." Ayumu looked at the guy who claimed to have "taken care of" a few practitioners and gave a nod of approval. "That's the best way to deal with those weird a** people. Nice job," he said before finally addressing the woman in charge. "'Sup. I'm Ayumu. Are you the Hokage or not? I'm supposed to tell the head honcho that I'm here."
On the subject of a collective struggle where the seven and nine hosts were occupied, the map, the marker, the barrier, and the lone jashinist, she frowned. Glared, even. Leaf had dodged the wallop of the insurrectionist group that revealed themselves in full at the Pale Citadel. How could she tell the difference between them and the rabble? Or just even guess? While the other jashinst groups were trouble they didn’t meddle with the mortal muscle brandishing Tailed Beasts. And the ones who did were pummeled. The inshou radicals were twice the trouble and twice ambitious.. A brand of trouble that Sadayo was hesitant to throw all of her resources on and, more so, send a fresh face like Nagisa to withstand.
On the subject that shed a light onto a personal horror Sadayo’s glare lessened. It was dispiriting news that softened her knitted brow and frown. The look on her face became a neutral, withdrawn look, but an aching undertone sat beneath. In time, she knew this instance would sting harder for reasons she quietly brushed aside. Sadayo didn’t blink. An assistant near-by had slowed progress on organizing recovered documents. The assistant looked appalled as they too took in Himitsu’s report and attempted to approach to borrow Sadayo’s attention with a simple hand gesture.
Something of a silent exchange where Sadayo’s sights peeled off Himitsu long enough to nod and dismiss the assistant to have the slain jashinsts’ collected before taking in the last upswing of the Bear sage’s report. “Fine.” She said, finally letting herself blink and soothe the singe of keeping her eyes open. “I want secured borders. That will keep you on the move to respond to anything needing a response.” The withdrawn look hardened and brows furrowed. Again. Her tone of voice took on a sharper edge that some seemed to associate with her. “And probably enough proof to satisfy the two of you.” Her sights swapped down from Himitsu to slide over Nagisa and finally Ayumu. If I’m not the Hokage then who exactly are you expecting to be the Hokage? Is the academy not teaching all of these children the fundamentals of our village military hierarchy?”
