The local Dojo has been crafted with one very notable Taijutsu Specialist leading it's daily functions, Karuto Raiken. While he has managed to hire other martial artists to teach their styles of varying weapons and styles to maintain a variety of classes he personally leads classes on weight lifting. As a side business, Karuto sells a variety of supplemental vitamins, herbs and medicines that enhance one's physicality.

Your business has flourished your location perhaps has grown since then. Perhaps you like to keep things simple. That aside the worth of your business is on an incline. People and locals recommend your place of business with warm welcomes.

• Not subject to being confined in the subforum business can be made in any place Kage/Mod permissions granted. The price of a business follows the same progression as the Residency Tiers. Business are broken up into ranks via those tiers and confer an amount of Ryo every [1]-Irl week. Businesses are tough as they require maintaining, however, will yield results as long as one remains diligent. The business will accrue profit up to [1/4th] its listed initial worth every [1]-Irl week for up to [4]-irl weeks. After of which the owner MUST visit and tend to their business. Any irl weeks then after [4] and this condition having not been met will not earn the business profit. If the business is not tended to the following [2] irl weeks the business fails. The Owner then loses the cost of the business x4 and if unable to pay are placed in debt. You will be unable to open another business until getting out of debt and will be pursued occasionally by..THE REPO MEN. Business are also subject to being ROBBED...and in some of the worst cases DESTROYED. Any time during a profit period a RPC may attempt to rob a business in which case they steal 1/2 of that business worth in profit. If there is no profit the money is stolen from the worth of the business. If a business ever reaches 0 it has failed. A Business Owner is given [1]-irl week to respond to the robbery. Where if a response is not made the robber is considered successful. A Destroyed business may not generate profit but isn't considered failed until the passing of [2] irl weeks. To repair a destroyed business one must pay 1/2 of that business worth. An insurance policy may be claimed where in the Business only produces profit every other irl week but the business is insured if destroyed.

Jyn entered with an easy stride, relaxed from a day's work in their family garden. Since Konoha had been in recovery for five years from the war, Jyn had fallen into place with new habits and a healthy appreciation for calmness. They lined themselves up with a dummy, feeling at first that they were going to practice a punch but, at the last moment, opening their palm upon the decision to place a seal instead. It exploded across the surface of the dummy's chest. The chakra within the seal was designed specifically for demons, so it registered no effect against the lifeless dummy.

[Ephemeral Ozymandias]

__ A tall and slender young man with fiery red hair stepped into the famous gymnasium. Similarly to Lahlil, he had a physically frail body thanks to the Sakkakugan and his childhood illnesses certainly were not helping matters. He was intimidated by the idea of exercising and preferred to conduct his shinobi missions with fire and genjutsu instead. He was decent with the chakra-focused martial arts styles like Phantom Slayer but beyond that, he was quite out of shape physically. The first person he saw was a brown-haired woman training intensely causing him to gulp. He went to the bench press and struggled to remove the weights. Once that was done he grabbed the bar and lowered himself onto the benchpress. Shouri began lifting just the bar and was visibly sweating. After four reps he was already huffing and puffing before he could no longer hold it and the bar collapsed on his chest. "Ah! Help!" He ran out of breath when the bar landed on his chest as he reached his hand out toward Jyn indicating that he was in desperate need of help.

This is only useable up to the users self ranked korabo level and each genjutsu is still treated as separate when interacting with kai. Any upkeeps are also increased to reflect this change.
• Otherwordly Imagery | Genjutsu performed cannot be mimicked or reversed by any means. ( Genjutsu can still be broken, however. )

Jyn wiped the sweat off of their forehead, unaware of the red haired shinobi training in the same building until he cried for help. They rushed over, grabbing the training bar with laughable ease after their extensive physical training. They placed it on the rack, then leaned over to look at the red haired gentleman more closely. "What were you thinking? This much iron is dangerous. If you are not confident about your limits, it is good to have a spotter." Their voice was soothing but chastising all the same.

Concern was evident in their eyes as they looked over the fellow shinobi. "I have not seen you around before. I suppose that is more on me than on you, since I was an outsider to Konoha for many years before coming here recently. Are you interested in physical ninja arts?" They had known the red head was a shinobi from the way he carried himself as well as his equipment. The man also seemed to have oddly tinted eyes, but Jyn didn't comment on such a thing. "I am Juniper Nara, but you may call me Jyn." Their build was more masculine but face more feminine, and the voice and name were androgynous enough to leave anyone questioning; it had become a source of amusement for them, seeing which perception suited strangers more.

__ The ease with which this stranger helped him made his face flush with embarrassment. What made it worse was that he needed a girl to help him. A very muscular girl, but a girl nonetheless. He wiped the sweat out of his eyes as he felt it begin to sting. The well-earned admonishment he received did not patch up his dignity in the slightest. He nodded at the introduction as he waited to catch his breath before sitting up and responding. "Nice to meet ya, Jyn. I'm Shouri Uchiha and I'm from the old Konoha and then Uzu and now I'm in the New Konoha. Thanks for your help." The whole situation was incredibly confusing but he hoped that this village would outlast the others. He was confident that under his love Lahlil's leadership that the fledgling village would fly. He sighed before "I've never been to the gym before. I was sick for a very very long time and one of my kekkei genkai makes my body quite frail." He then rested his chin in his palm with his elbow atop his knee. "I'm a genjutsu user mostly. I'm only here because a girl I've been dating has started exercising and I thought maybe I should too." Shouri's complete lack of experience in the physical ninja arts was quite obvious. He honestly was just doing this because Lahlil was and if she was doing it then it must be a good idea. She was the smartest person he knew and she was good with self-improvement. "I watched you train for a bit. You're really good! Wait, God, I hope that wasn't creepy. I wanna roll up and die." The embarrassment of the whole situation revisited the mentally-plagued Uchiha-Kurama clansman. He did not know what else to say as he stared at the floor.

Jyn made a mental note on Shouri. Their expression was solemn at the reminder of Konoha's violent and intermittent history. "You possess two kekkai genkai? I am glad I am not the only one who comes from two paths. I am also glad you are celebrating your good health, but perhaps heavy weight was not the best solution." They laughed heartily, clapping a hand on Shouri's shoulder in joy.

"I do not think you are creepy, just intriguing. Though, I have to ask, do you make a habit of dating girls? I thought it more fitting for someone of your age to be dating women," they critiqued lightly with a teasing smile. "That aside, it is quite impressive that you have survived so many wars in this village. I am still fuzzy on the history of this place but I am honored to fight by your side all the same. I have been here for two years but I still feel like a tourist in my new home. Where do you go for fun in this village?"

__ Shouri's jaw dropped at her statement about Lahlil out of complete confusion. "She's younger than me, but not too much. Why wouldn't I be creepy if you thought I was dating a kid?" His question was innocent if not nervous as well. Shouri misunderstood that she actually thought he was dating a pre-pubescent female of the species and needed to correct that notion immediately. Now he was horrified that she actually thought he was a *****! "I thought just the bar would be okay to start. It wasn't." He was stating the obvious at this point. When she asked him what he did for fun he looked at the kunoichi or at least that was how he perceived Jyn. "All I do is wait in my, uh, ladyfriend's office until she's done with work and then I talk to her." He supposed that when he was there or at home with nothing to do that he got a lot of joy out of playing boardgames. "Do you have hobbies besides the gym?" Shouri desperately wanted to keep the conversation in motion to get his mind off of his embarrassment.

Jyn laughed at the incredulity of Shouri's question, but sobered up soon enough. They cocked a brow as they formulated a decent answer. "I think a grown man such as yourself should be more than capable of referring to his girlfriend - or, ladyfriend, is it now? - as a grown woman." Their smile cut any sharpness out of the teasing as they cocked a hand on their hip. "That said, I think you need some new hobbies as well. As for myself, I have lived with my tribe for most of my life before immigrating into Konoha. I usually hunt with my family or tend to the garden. While I can trace my ancestry down to some famous Konoha clans - the Nara and the Uzumaki - I have always been raised with my tribe and I understand their culture best. I am disconnected from my blood beyond techniques."

The admission made Jyn feel embarrassed. They lived in the village of their ancestry but had no relation to either clan's residences within Konoha. "Anyways... hunting is not as appropriate within Konoha. I do not have my tools, either. I guess I usually go look for spiders. It is similar to bird watching but my tribe has always felt a connection to specific animals depending on the individual and, for me, it is spiders. I feel close to them. I think they are fascinating. Intriguing, like you." They couldn't help but let their eyes fall on Shouri's form. He was certainly not made for lifting weights, but there was an experience displayed on his face that explained that he was capable in other ways.

__ Shouri's face relaxed from confusion into an exhausted one but he still tried to pay attention. "She calls me boy all the time, but I don't care. She can call me whatever she wants. I should ask her if she shares your opinion on the word girl." He made a mental note of that for later. Shouri always liked knowing what she thought about any topic really. When she said that he needed new hobbies he raised an eyebrow. Why would he do anything besides missions or hang out with Lahlil? His life was so much simpler now than it once was. He did even have to think or plan because she did all of that for him now. "Why am I intriguing like a spider?" The most interesting fact about him was probably that he was dating the Hokage. On his own, he was not very interesting. He was just a Chuunin in the village and a rather unexceptional Uchiha who leaned more on his Kurama ancestry's powers anyway. "Sometimes I like to go to the big bridge over there at dusk and wait for the bats to fly out. Bats are super cool. Do you like those?" His interest in bats only began when he went to the Echo Caverns but he started reading a lot about the creatures and developing a kind of kinship with them since then.

He strode into his gym, throwing the doors open wide with a wide grin upon his face. It had taken him many hours, and a lot of petitioning, but Karuto's Muscle Mansion had been up and running for some time and GOD DANG had it been profitable. Of course, he didn't care about the money as much as he did having his own work out location. People all across the village had been coming here to get healthier and he found the positive impact more satisfying than all the Ryo in the world. People had also begun to recognize him both due to him being Konoha's First Sannin as well as a health enthusiast.

Despite the loss of his arm, Karuto had not skipped his weight training at all. In fact, some people would say he had actually grown bigger over the last five years. He now easily stood seven and a half feet tall and was weighting in at nearly 400 pounds. So, it was no surprise that when Karuto stepped up to the squat rack he went ahead and filled the bar up with as much weights as it could hold. As he loaded it up, he spotted two people who he did not recognize, although the red-haired one looked somewhat familiar. Flashing them a smile and thumbs up, he roared out across the gym floor "Have a good lift, my friends!"

He got up under the bar and positioned himself squarely in the middle. Wrapping his one arm around the left side, he used what remained of his right arm to balance as best as he could. With a monumental effort he lifted the bar, took a few steps back, and began to knock out reps.

Jyn felt more intrigued by Shouri as the conversation continued. He was dodging identifying his girlfriend, however. "And this woman-girl you are dating, who is she? Do I know her?" Jyn considered that Shouri was unused to being the center of attention or the sole item of focus for anyone before, since he was not quite squirming but certainly uncomfortable with their interest in him.

"You are just an intriguing man-boy." Jyn laughed into their palm, then moved it to cup their face as they considered a better answer. "I am interested in my fellow countrymen. I do not mean to make you feel uneasy. You are just different than my tribe in many ways. We do not have eyes that look like yours, nor do we get sick frequently. It is just... intriguing." They struggled to find better words for it, but there was nothing else they could really assign to Shouri just yet.

"Bats are predators to spiders, but I find them to be graceful, if not a little ugly." Bats had their place in the natural cycle of things and Jyn would never interfere with that. They turned to see a large muscle man come in and encourage them to lift, then lift an ungodly amount of weight himself. "I do not think either of us will ever reach that level of strength," Jyn lamented with a tone equally depressed and impressed at the realization.

__ Shouri's tired expression stared off into space before softening sentimentally when Jyn asked who he was talking about. "It's Lahlil. I'm sure you've heard of her since she's the Hokage and all that." He only avoided saying who she was before because he did not want it to seem like he was name dropping. He was also afraid of anyone accusing her of playing favorites among him and his fellow leaf shinobi. He then laughed when Jyn called him a man-boy. Her explanation of taking interest of him and her commentary about bats also made him smile. "Your clans sound more interesting. Uchihas and Kuramas get too much attention. It also means that I'm only good at genjutsu and katon. You seem like you're good at all kinds of things, but if you need help with illusions or fire then you can always ask me. I hate that I'm only good at lying to and burning people with those skills. There's more honesty and room for mercy in the other shinobi arts. The only good thing about genjutsu is that I can fight people without physically hurting them." He looked back at Jyn as his facial expression became more solemn. Selling himself short was one of Shouri's true skills though. He preferred to use genjutsu to challenge people and make them realize how they can become better humans. Genjutsu had the capacity to make people go insane or permanently scar them through mental stress. It had to be wielded responsibly or it would unmake the world as it nearly did in the Kogarashi war. "Sorry, you didn't need to hear my self-pitying rants. I can't always help it because I'm in Uchiha, it's in my genes to do that." His self-deprecating joke led to him thinking frantically about a way to change the subject.

Before he could speak again he saw the massive Sannin who owned the gym walk in. He remembered him from their expedition into the western forest that ended up not going well at all. He smiled pleasantly and waved at Karuto and watched his impressive exercising. "I know, Karuto is pretty amazing." It was unfortunate that he did never had a chance to get to know someone so prominent in the village but perhaps this was his chance. He stood up and waved with a welcoming smile toward Jyn to follow along if desired. Shouri stood above the bench and watched him do the reps before speaking. "Sorry to bother you, Karuto, just wanted to say that this gym is really great and congratulate you on your success." He smiled kindly in hopes of forming yet another possible friendship. His only real friend was Lahlil and he needed to get out more as Jyn said. "I'm Shouri, by the way, we were in the western forests together. I'm the guy who's always having a mental breakdown." Thankfully, Lahlil was able to train him to control his mind better against the Sakkakugan's influences during their many mental-buttressing sessions in the Echo Caverns. He still had his struggles but he was feeling a lot better these days after years of hard work.

As he was hitting the end of his set, he heard the sound of footsteps approaching followed by someone saying his name. Karuto was standing clear of the rack while working out, and with the weight on his back, turned to face Shouri. Thankfully, Karuto was so tall that the bar on his shoulder swung clear over the man's head! He beamed as his facility was complimented, and was generally glad to re-make the acquaintance of the male. Smiling through his thick beard, Karuto replied "I am sorry, I don't recall that meeting!" He said, pleasantly "But don't worry my young friend! Train the body and the mind will follow!" He gave the kid his famous smile, wink and thumbs up combination as if to emphasize the point- now holding using only the upper arm-remainder of his right arm to balance the massively heavy weight balanced on his back. Suddenly the weight shifted due to the unease, and Karuto stirred as if he had somehow forgotten he was in the middle of a squat!

"Excuse me!" He said to Shouri as he reached behind his neck and, with nary a grunt, lifted the squat bar up and over his head before letting it dangle at his side. As soon as he did, he walked it over and stowed it back on the rack before turning back to Shouri "So, my friend, are you interested in some training?!" He said as he enthusiastically clapped his frying pan sized palms together

Lahlil was dating Shouri? It was such a strange thought, Jyn's expression must have appeared sour but they were merely considering the complexities of such a thing. It was likely a secret, since someone could accuse the Hokage of favoritism... Jyn left the subject untouched, unsure of how to approach an appropriate response.

"Your eyes are very special, then. I would be scared if I had such valuable resources in my head. Not that I do not think you are safe here, I do. I only know a little katon and genjutsu but the latter is a complicated art. I am impressed you have exercised your mind enough to understand genjutsu well enough to trust your life on it."

They frowned at the self-degrading comments of Shouri's, but didn't respond as the giant man - Karuto - responded warmly to Shouri. "Hello, Karuto. I am Juniper, but you can call me Jyn. I am impressed at this gym; I assume you are the very Karuto it is named after? It is wonderful that you have decided to open up a place to welcome shinobi and their hard training." Jyn's head was at a remarkable incline so that they could look at Karuto's face. He was incredibly tall and had more muscle definition than Jyn had ever seen on anyone before.

tab Before she could even respond to the man's argument Karuto had ran off down the street causing Lahlil to groan inwardly. Why did she have the feeling that the twinkle in his eye would mean more exercise for her? Signalling the waitress for more water Lahlil downed as much as her body would allow her and left a large tip before running off in the same direction as he had. As as she had wanted to complain there was at least the benefit of her lower body turning out nicely toned from the constant running. Maybe this workout thing wasn't so bad afterall.

Struggling through the doors and without the gentle calm of her rest break did Lahlil regret her previous words. Working out was the devil himself and anyone who enjoyed it was crazy or a freak for pain. Probably both. Breath wheezing out of her the Kage looked over the gym for whenever Karuto had gotten himself off to when she found him speaking with Shouri and a woman who wasn't entirely certain the name of. What is he doing here? And with.. oh wow... she is very fit. Or persons fit didn't do her quite the justice she deserved, a more lovingly sculpted fit into place. Perhaps she was newly joined into the village in which case Lahlil gave a warm smile and a wave as she strode to the group. A mask over her initial defensiveness over her protege though it wasn't as if a single date had or should claim obsessiveness over her. She wanted Shouri to make friends but feared what might happen with his mental instability. "Hello, pleased to make your acquaintance! I don't think I've gotten to meet you yet." Being thrust into a social situation so soon completely revitalized Lahlil as the ache retreated for another day. "Oh, don't take that wrong way I just enjoy meeting with all those in my village. I'm Lahlil Nevarra." From the side of her vision Lahlil tosses the Sannin a questioning glance still wondering what surprised he had cooked up for her. "I hope I didn't interrupt anything between you three."
