Yashima wasn't particularly excited about the training alongside Karuto and these others. It seemed normal to him, most likely just cause didn't really know much about the popularity held by those around him. Thinking to himself as he walked where he was ushered to. When he noticed the waving motion to the side of him he would do so back, reaching his arm up in a bit of a wave and saying. "Hello Seika, I'm doing quite fine. Yes Yashima is what I prefer to be called." He offered in response, unsure of whether or not he should continue conversation any more so than that. Seika would however notice that it seemed while they were walking he never looked towards her, and seemed to just be facing forwards as he walked. Almost as if he was staring into space still.
Meanwhile something caught Yashima's attention a bit. A male voice that seemed to whisper out 'H-Hokage-sama.' Off in the distance it seemed, maybe even a little further beyond the figure that he thought was approaching their small group. He didn't show any sign of his attention being caught however, he simply progressed onwards. Listening to very rapid sounds of what was apparently Karuto setting up some somewhat complex obstacle course every so often. By the time they arrived it seemed that large man had already finished what he was setting up. Tossing the group of them weights, which Yashima would catch while still staring forwards for the most part. As Karuto began explaining how this training was going to go the courteous smile slowly just began to sort of fade away. After the explanation was done Yashima would slowly approach Karuto and hold the weight given to him out.
"My apologies, I am not particularly fond of this kind of aggressive training. Thank you for your offer though. I think I will sit this one out. Although if you don't mind I do not mind observing." He would say, hoping they were okay with him staying and observing this particular training. To which he would begin to move towards the inside part of the track, well aware that with the size of the track if they were doing full laps, he would not be able to 'see' a pretty good portion of the training from the actual sidelines.

Seikas hopeful reactions fell through in respect to the younger genin, geez he seems to be on his own little world, well it’s not like we exactly know one another.. She thought, not feeling the need to try and prompt him to converse beyond that based on his lack of reaction, causing her to redirect the initial energy put into introducing herself elsewhere. The amount of setup the guy had done was next to insane, in walking to the track this guy, Karuto had set up quite the involved obstacle coarse, not anything Seika considered immediately challenging but a good strong routine. These thoughts quickly left when this gigantic man showed he was just as mean out of the ring as inside the ring as he produced ankle weights that when tossed she managed to snatch out of the air and almost lost balance. She grunted in surprise and mild disdain, she was basically strapping half of her own body weight to each leg, alright this became extremely intense compared to before, although well paced this would just be a bit of a drag but she’d put in the extra effort to impress.
Just as she was wondering what came next Karuto added his fine little bit to the description and Seikas chewing of her energy bars slowed down and she swallowed that mouthful. Dont give such a cheeky grin with such sinister intent!! Wasn’t expecting bloody challenge mode, Misleading much! She thought to herself as she finished consuming the food and washed it down with some of her bottled drink. ”Alright then, I got this!” she exclaimed with false bravado before setting to work putting on the weights. Her eyes darting towards Yashima as he approached Karuto to excuse himself from this challenge, which made sense to her despite the fact she was going to try. After securely attaching the weights to each leg she stood up and pulled her glasses from her t-shirts neckline and put them on, she’d probably screw up on the tires without em and she intended to be as fast as possible as she had absolutely no idea how she would fair on this Obstacle course.
Parkour, gymnastics, acrobatics, aerobics, martial arts and dance were the skills she had to get her through this and of coarse, her shinobi training, thus Seika had decided how she was going to approach this as she approached the start point. Her idea would almost come of as straightforward, probably because it was, use a speed augmentation technique and then go go go without stopping, as a result her posture at the starting point wasn’t one particularly meant as a good one for a running start off. Whilst waiting for Sadayo to be ready she lifted her legs a few times to try and get a feel for the new encumbrance and perhaps, hopefully acclimatize to them a little, which she at least got a good idea of the weight added as her lifted leg constantly dragged toward the ground earnestly and she frowned slightly, coming to terms with the fact they weren’t gonna get any lighter.
When all participants were at the start point she would look toward Karuto as she secured both of her fans onto her belt she spoke as if asking a question that clearly was more of a statement as there was no exact prompt she expected,”Right well I’ll be going first if nobody minds that is?!! Yūrei no Zenshin.” Her voice and expression shifted from playful to serious with her last three words as she started to channel chakra into her feet turning to face forwards and shooting off all in one motion from a standstill to a full tilt sprint. despite her small frame her muscles tensed up the instant before she started to moved giving away the physical training she endured, if those weren’t a give away the sheer speed she burst off with would do so.. she was no Karuto but her speed was a strong point, even with these damnable weights. Her arms were extended at either side in the classic pose right until she reach the first hurdle, literal hurdle that is. Her left hand reached towards her face and secured her glasses as she prepared to jump, lofting her body skillfully she, her first leg cleared it easily, her body and other leg followed and she felt good about managing the first one first try with these weights.., that is until her toe caught the top of the hurdle and pelted it to the ground and causing Seika to start to fall forwards.
Planting her leg that first cleared the hurdle down into the ground forcefully she managed the catch herself, the weights almost helped her succeed at this as she made a hop forward and managed to straighten out and land her other foot securely with a stumble and a curse then immediately picked up where she left off, bolting to the next hurdle in next to no time, slowing down just shy of the new hurdle and would jump in a completely different way this time, both knees bending with her feet a half foot apart followed by a very fast but noticeable slowed compared to last time as she would do a single, neat somersault over the hurdle, landing with only her right foot on the ground as she skipped forwards a step to redirect the force of the landing and her bodies momentum and was back to sprinting, only her right hand was extended behind her or in use for balance, the other securely held her glasses in place as she decided moving it back and forth was a little much of a distraction than lifting her legs at high speed like this as she repeated the same action with the next hurdle and the one after that. Upon reaching the tires she slowed down to regard the with a look and judging the way she’d have to step before bounding in with her left foot she proceeded to step forwards, a foot landing in each one as she hoped forwards left and right as a markedly slower speed that before.
The required care for here was increased because they were all big steps apart for a short girl like her and the immense deadweight on her legs would result in her falling if she tried to go about it super fast or with any grace. However clearing the first wave of tires wasn’t to much of a problem, no the biggest hindrance(not counting if Karuto ends out face planting her) reared it’s head for the first time, the box jumps. She could do these things easy due to her practice in Freestyle whirlwind martial art, and this type of obstacle/training was a staple, she’d even done it with a cumbersome backpack, but her legs being weighed down like this was something she’d not practiced doing. The part was noticeable treated with more care than anything beforehand in this coarse as she would slow to a basic stand still before bounding, lifting her legs in a straddle jump and planted her hands on the apparatus to launch herself forwards so as to clear to object, bringing her legs down and landing with a stumble before shooting toward the next one and did the same thing, then she stumbled again, tripped, rolled ending on her feet, swearing loudly and securing her glasses before continuing on. The girls speed didn’t decline but she was already using her practiced breathing techniques to supply her body with plentiful oxygen whilst retain a steady breathing pattern, sweat bloomed into being after her first fall and Seika found herself putting out more effort to drag her legs along whilst approach each of these obstacles with minimal interruption to keeping a consistent speed, taking a second to peer back and see the ground she’d covered.
(For sake of uncertainty, you can judge how far I’ve travel, this is going to cover the first 30 - 45 seconds? Either way I’ll leave those choices to the other Prince whom is instructing is :p)
(I thought so XD. Just to clarify these weights are 30kg a leg or 30kg in total XD?and when you say box jumps, do you mean like one would have to stop, hop on, step off, then go back to running to we talking more the big box this that one would jump over and plant their hands to propel themselves the rest of its length? I just wanna know so I can be detailed about approaching them as an obstacleXD, I know I don’t gotta do chakra stuff but ima do so for getting used to doing so when needed neutral familiarization and all that jazz )

Sadayo made a face. An ugly one at the ankle weights. Uhm. Okay. She made a sour looking squint at the weights. She knelt to pick up a pair that skid to her toes. They were heavier than they looked! "You're kidding?" She almost struggled to bounce both in her hands as she inspected the weights and thought it was a joke. Two minutes. Right. Almost smirking at the thought. Then her eyes opened wider quick. Her expression flashes to a frown: "you're not kidding." She spoke quickly. Tightly. Oh no. Talking MEATBALL MEN don't joke around when it comes to kicking off rigorous, physical training! She almost feeling like a blockhead herself for ever thinking so. Karuto clapped and gestured the group away at this point.
Now, 30 kilograms is roughly 66 pounds. 66 pounds is roughly the weight of Kubikiribōchō. Two hideous ankle weights equates to two Executioner's swords weighing down each leg at the same time. Meatheads were serious about their training and Sadayo could very well envision Karuto easily thumping her onto the clay. Oh. She could almost taste the earth on her tongue and hear Masato laughing from whatever mountain peak he might be horsing around on. Sadayo was off! She hurries to shoves an ankle weight onto her wrist with its twin, already tormenting her in her palm. Before long, she could be seen lumbering with what nearly felt like two whopping swords on her body, hopping, trying not to lose her composure as she worked one borrowed bracelet on, one by one.
Wait? Why wait? There was no such thing as waiting as long as the clock was ticking.They had a 2 minute timer to get a head start and build distance from Karuto. Watching it all must have been hilarious from the side lines. Hurdles were being treated like objects trying to attack her. She had to jump still with the weight of two heavy swords weighing her down. The extra weight had to be warped to her advantage against the hideous hurdles. A dramatic, unnecessary succession of leaps akin to a dancer's execution of a grand jete between a stampeding dash away from Karuto really didn't look conventional for a track. When it came to the box jumps. Well. Count her out on the first box. Sadayo's footing was off that she straight flopped forward and bonked some part of her elbow on the screwy landing. Her ponytails were beginning to look totally deflated no matter how much she felt required to endure. The second box, even, there was a moment where Sadayo almost lost her balance before actually she could get steady. Tires? Like swinging Kubikiribōchō over and over again remorselessly. Her heartbeat pounding in her ears. Not even Kubikiribōchō gets this much attention! Was Seika still doing this? Hell. Sadayo was too fixated on the fear of being knocked into clay. There was no looking back even as she toiled through the tires. Just running for as far and as long as this begrudging puppeteer could manage with the clock ticking. "Heavenly momentum!" She spoke tightly between breath. All for heavenly momentum! A stray thought occurred to her at some point to actually threaten to throw Karuto if he actually knocked her into the dirt.
Based on the system's standards Sadayo's running speed is about 5 miles an hour. She supposedly can run 5 miles in one hour. News flash: S-rank Jounin clocks 5 miles an hour running spread but can dodge a fast-moving projectile with ease. Under trained for an elite warrior? Or is this an elite noggin' stuck in a newbie's body?

Yashima was 'watching' ready and waiting to see how the little game of training he could call it went down. Seika suddenly seemed serious as their timer for the head start began. She seemed good, definitely likely better than what Yashima was aware he could have done. Although he was fairly certain if he just asked if he was allowed to use different kinds of jutsu during the race and was told yes he could probably have won. That being said he didn't, and would have felt wrong doing that so he had simply opted out. Sadayo moved well herself it seemed....maybe? Yashima wasn't completely sure about this particularly.
It wasn't long before music began playing from nearby speakers however. Somewhat catching Yashima off guard he flinched a bit....but only a bit. Then a voice began playing cutting off the music. It was the Hokage, announcing that the exams were beginning and the eclipse was not to be worried about. Eclipse? Wait there was an eclipse? Yashima had no way of knowing aside from when someone told him. However he was told not to be worried about it...so he was simply not worried about it. Standing up he would form a few hand signs and then sinking into the ground below him. Using Mayfly to avoid disturbing the others, quickly moving out of the area and to the streets nearby before coming back out of the ground and making his way to find a jounin to take him to the exam site.
Karuto watched them go and gave them the pre-arranged head start. After the agreed upon time, he set off after the two of them. Of course he Sannin outpaced the Genin...it was to be expected. But, still, neither were a match before Karuto's speed. He caught up with both of them, lapped them and then caught them again all within the span of thirty seconds. While moving he made sure to demonsrate the mire advanced concepts of the Freestyle Whirlwind. Despite his claims, he never drove them into the ground. The threat was necessary to push them beyond what they would have given him otherwise. Despite this, every time he neared them he feinted like he was going to strike! Yet...the blow never came. Instead, when the two turned around to look at him they would find Karuto staring up at the sky...at a black sun

The light in the sky was fading but Sadayo wasn't paying mind to it right away. Each time Karuto had come to pass by, the puppeteer would skittishly bow forward as some excuse of an anxious dodge. As she would watch him leave she wouldn't hold back the wide eyed look of a wild woman warning vengeance for something he had yet to do. The day grew dimmer. Darker. Did Karuto's pace stop? Sadayo stopped too, although, she had tripped over another tire and cut off the noise of a swear. Night. Sadayo picked herself up and dusted her knee as she raised her head. She stomps her boot on the side of a tire and looks up. A stern furrow of her brow came quickly under the cover of night. Here, Lahlil was just announcing the chunin exams but this wouldn't be a cryptic stunt she had in the wait. Her first instincts were flooding to thought: strengthen security with additional patrols, keep her agents on guard, and secure the wandering little one. The order to report to "the delta" felt like a kick in the mouth to her position. All of her wandering clones were disbanded save for the doubles minding the waterfall and hospital. Images in her head flooding in about the academy: the green haired zealot, the students, Masato. The events that transpired at the academy had her pinching the bridge of her nose. "What? Am I going to need an officer there too?" She groaned and shook her head. Her ponytails were probably looking like one massive shadow bobbing behind her head. At least she had some inkling as to where she could find Masato now.
In the false night, Sadayo could only assume Seika was eager enough to answer Lahlil's call and was perhaps already on her way to catch an escort to the delta. The boy appears to have departed too. The woman could only shrug and drop her arms having been defeated by the circumstances. "So much for a pretty day." And a stark lesson in physical combat. "I don't like the looks of this. It spells surprises and problems. Watch. " She lifts a leg and unbinds an anklet weight and loops it around her wrist, as before. "I suppose I shouldn't walk away with these." It felt amazing to suddenly not have an additional 66 pounds on her person again. Heck. It was an extra, obnoxious 120 pounds. The second ankle bracelet was removed and Sadayo sighed heavily. "Too bad. I owe you gratitude anyway, so, thank you. " Trying to hold an extra 120 pounds in one hand wasn't a treat either. She hopped out of a tire and set the ankle weights on the grass at the edge of the track. "and Thank you for not dunking me into the dirt."

This was an embarrassing show in Seikas opinion, she shoulda used a Jutsu to strengthen her body but she felt she’d have been scorned for taking a physical activity so neglected to do so. This led into her barely reaching the start point by the time Karuto started moving.. that was when panic set in, the giant was way to fast and would crush her in less than.. NINE SECONDS?!? No less she has frozen to observe his speed. Seika took off like a dart counting down before turning her head when she had about a second left, a dark shadow was looming over top of her, she yelped turning to try and defend herself from the flesh and blood tram crushing toward her, her hands crossed in-front of her face, as the wind force of Karuto tore past her, her hair billowing out behind her dragged along with Karutos wind stream as she felt the impact of the air the fellow had trailing him, she spun and began to try and run again, in less about ten more seconds he was on top of her again, dude was ridiculous.
However little of the mans motions she was able to keep up with she still revived some valuable insight from the man, he was using freestyle whirlwind form movements, much more efficient and well groomed than Seikas were by a mile. Hence in between glances at him and on the avoiding the obstacle in front of her she was aiming to try an apply what she saw and ohh god he was gonna hit her for real second lap!!! She flinched and again was unharmed, feeling a flush of frustration at how slow she felt comparatively.. she also felt that he was taking it easy on them.. the threats must have been motivation.. why did she have to fall for that she did not know. Her heart raced thankful for not meeting the ground and for finally reaching the end of the second lap, her breathing heavy as she put her hands on her legs and bent over to lean on them and pant whilst staring at her sha..dow...? The false night came as a surprise, the hell was going on.. but an announcement rang out from the great Lahil, this cleansed her of anxiety about the dark but created a new one, the exams!!!
Pulling the weights off she stepped over to Karuto and Sadayo, placing the weights on the ground become running to collect her backpack, she then returned to the two older shinobi. ”Thank you very much for taking this time to train us, I failed your challenge and have something I can’t miss.. so I gotta go get some stuff from home so I gotta leave... When I’m back from the exams can Ill return and try to earn the ability to train with you then if your willing!”She said with a very short bow before turning to Sadayo, she expressed a address and continued saying ”Thank you for helping me Miss Sadayo I appreciate it a bunch, come by sometime if your nearby that location.. I live there and wanna serve you tea sometime to show my appreciation but I have got to be on my way now, gotta grab supplies and find Urumeshi, the jounin I was assigned for escorting so I gotta go... and don’t worry I’ll be careful with me hand, promise!!” She gave more of a bow to Sadayo and a smile before she turned, vanishing with the motion by way of body flicker.

Seika's gesture was warm like soft butter. Sadayo must have lost track of her as the light faded. Granted, plenty of tasks began to pile and took her attention justly. She palms the note with the address in her glove and replies with a soothing tone in her voice, "Sure." The genin turns onward to go about her way. "Good luck," Sadayo added as some sort of sad smile curls its way onto the jounin's face. Seika disappeared with the blink of her eyes. As for Karuto, Sadayo had already graced him with her gratitude and stuffed the note away into the safety of her pocket. "Later," she chirped suddenly. Loudly. Just before vanishing with an artsy flip.

After what felt like an incredibly long and grueling training session, Michi was moving on to some of the final techniques from the third stage of the Strong Fist Style. The instructor that Michi had been working with began to describe to him the value of good spacing, and then brought up the Leaf Hurricane Kick. In principle, it was a tool for creating distance between you and your opponent as well as potentially disarming them, which relies on the momentum generated by a backwards jump kick to the target's torso. It didn't take much for Michi to associate the technique with Great Leaf Whirlwind, between the name and almost the exact same movements he wondered what the difference between them was. Now it was time for Michi to run through the jutsu himself, the instructor held out a board and stated, "Now I want you snap this board in two with the Leaf Hurricane Kick, just make sure you aim for the board, and not my face." Michi couldn't help but cringe a little, earlier in the training he'd almost done exactly that. After taking a second to gather himself, Michi turned away from his instructor, glanced over his shoulder, and pushed off into the air, while rapidly spinning back towards his instructor. Yo'ichi walked through the door of the dojo and immediately walked to the counter. He was always a muscle head, he rather enjoyed it. It helped it think and analyze what needed to happen in his grand scheme of things. Looking at the price board above the front counter, he reached in his pocket, placed the fee and enough for one more session on the counter. The representative nodded and took the money ' He is your lock and choose whatever locker in the back, enjoy'. Yo'ichi smiled and marched towards the locker room. As he walked through the Gym, he charted the course he would make throughout. Once in the locker room, he took a locker and placed his dad's vintage chuunin jacket within it. He splashed his face with water and walked back into the workout area.
As he walked out, he looked back at several machines. There was a squat rack in the corner that was currently unoccupied. Grabbing a nearby spray bottle and a paper towel, he wiped down the rack and the bench. Working out always helped him think and there was a lot to think about. Grabbing the bar and placing his legs a shoulders width apart; Yo'ichi lifted the bar up and brought it as close to the ground as he possibly could. Making eye contact with himself in the mirror, he started to think about the processing which to make a poison stronger:

After three full squats, he stood straight up and continued to make eye contact with himself. He was finding a flow with the squats and his own thought processes, this is what he liked to workout. He brought the bar back into a low squat position and held it for a moment. He knew the decay of poison after it's been introduced to the air or water. With both, they can be dispersed and diluted. Yoichi wanted to make something that was ever-present and had an afterlife after its initial introduction. Though that sounded much like a disease, he wanted a beneficial almost symbiotic relationship. With the introduction of chakra.
With another three squats down, he rose and placed the bar back onto the rack. He took a few paces around the machine and stretched nearby, it certainly got his blood pumping. His cheeks were rosy and warm to the touch, he grabbed a paper towel and walked back to the machine to wipe it down. Placing the spray bottle back, he walked over to the other area and found a small rope. He clipped one side to a nearby column and to another nearby column. It was suspended in the air and tight. He stood right next to it as close as he could. He ducked underneath and popped into the other side, weaving side to side. He started stationary and slowly, as he got used to the motion without touching the rope. He began to move slightly faster and more confident.
As his confidence grew, he started to move back and forth. Delivering small jabs while weaving the suspended rope. Placing his thumbs tucked into his palm and his four other fingers straight, he started to deliver small quick strikes. The tip of those four fingers was coated with his chakra and left small purple tracers visibility. An attendant walking by stopped him and added a small link to the hook of the rope. It gave it a swinging motion and they pushed it. Now Yoichi was dodging the rope, he started stationary. It was a lot harder than he assumed.
Toki's rolling body skirted along the ground until it collided into the dojo with a loud thud. Damn. The young boy grunted in pain as he forced himself back onto his feet without the use of his right arm, using the building to slide his back against as he tried to ignore the stagnate pain he felt. While he was well skilled in the art of body flicker, the lack of his right arm severely impacted the trajectory of his technique. Instead of the Hokage's office he found himself at the dojo where he was once bullied severely by a pack of homophobic thugs back in his academy days. As he looked around, two kunai appeared in his left hand. Paranoia halted his movements as he felt as though he was still being pursued. Was he still being pursued? He had to imagine he was, since these forces seemed far too powerful to allow a loose end to escape. His right arm remained limp as his left one rose across his torso to protect him against any possible pursuers. He hoped to high heavens if he was pursued then he could cause enough of a distraction to disappear once again.

Chai followed the kid, but from a far enough distance to be able to see what the kids thought process was. Chai bore a leaf headband temporarily, the one the clone had passed to him, but it felt heavy on his arm and only exacerbated the discomfort he felt at what Toki had said to him - and Chai was never uncomfortable. Toki ended up at the dojo and looked hurt worse than Chai had intended. His frown deepened, and it wasted no time in jumping down to reveal himself to the kid. He put his hands up placatingly. "Toki, I don't want to hurt you. If I did, I'd have introduced you to Zelel directly back there at the gate. I - well, now I just want to talk about how close you are with Zelel. What's the nature of your communication with him? Er, her?" He did value Toki's time, despite what the kid had accused him of earlier.
"I'm here for Ito. I value my bond with her. I don't hurt people I don't have to, because there's no point in wasting their time. I - listen, I can heal that paralysis you're experiencing. There's no reason to fight; I just can't let you get more people to come after Ito." Had the religious scholarship he'd undertaken been incorrect? Was Zelel a woman, and was Chai led astray? He put one hand back in his pocket, fingering the sand timer that he always kept with him as a reminder of his faith to Zelel, and the other hand glowed with iryojutsu chakra as a show of good faith on his word. He was happy to heal Toki, so long as it took enough time that Toki didn't get reinforcements and so long as it didn't result in a kunai at his throat.
Fear flashed in Toki's eyes as he began to swing his kunai to strike. However, just before releasing his weapons, Chai spoke in a way which disarmed him. He wasn't sure if it was his own naivety or an innate ability to trust a rogue, but he felt like this threat was being genuine in his intentions to ascertain Toki's connection to Zelel. He remained silent until Chai's hands glowed with the unmistakable glow of medical chakra. His right arm was still innate, and with his limited knowledge of medical ninjutsu he had no way of ascertaining if this was permanent or not. It was for that reason that a puff of smoke banished the two kunai in his left hand, and he rose it in a ceasefire manner. "You may not be out to hurt people you don't have to, but that masked monster is. Had it not been for that other ninja I would have been dead by that onslaught of attacks." He said, awaiting the healing ninjutsu. Before he unveiled his connection to the divine, he needed to make sure that he wasn't being tricked. Chai didn't feel like an enemy, but he didn't feel like a friend either.

Chai moved slowly towards the kid when he seemed to respect the ceasefire. He let the technique bide him time for a response to Toki's words as he put both hands on the kid's arm, glowing chakra overtaking the limb briefly before undoing the paralysis [ Healing Hands Technique: Major [ Chiyute No Jutsu: Ichidanto ] | Rank A ]. The healing happened quickly, but Chai removed his hands, again slowly, and backed up a few feet to make sure nothing looked suspicious.
"I do not know Rabu well enough to speak on them in that manner. We have been side by side for long enough for me to know they are loyal. Loyalty requires sacrifice. Much as you risked your life for your village, Rabu risks for Ito. We are all devoted in one way or another," Chai said conversationally. His devotion lied with Zelel, as finding him (her?) had given him more meaning and purpose in his life than he'd ever had before. "Now, why is it that your devotion to Zelel looks different from mine? Does Konoha teach Zelel differently?" He seemed relaxed again, much more like his usual self.
The moment his arm was cured, Toki felt the urge to escape. He felt the sudden impulse to disappear and escape the clutches of Chai. However, there was something intoxicating about the charisma which oozed from this man. No matter of his natural charm could stop Toki from sticking his tongue out at the idea of Rabu being loyal. "Anyone who wears a mask has no problem hiding their loyalty. Surely our faith must have taught you that." The young man was suddenly disarmed with how casually he was speaking to Chai. Within a moment's notice he was talking about 'our' faith, and his tone was less fear and more reactionary. It was like they have known each other for months, and yet this was the first time we met. "Before we speak further, I would like your name. You have mine, and while you are very attractive, I am not a trashy romance novel protagonist who will only address you as, 'My angel of the night.'" No matter how much Chai pried, Toki would never reveal how many trashy romance books he has read.
