Furthermore, two techniques separated by one rank in power will take the rank power of the higher rank, but will eliminate any potential weaknesses of the two techniques, and give the fusion the property of overwhelming. So if a B-ranked an a C-ranked technique were fused through the use of Korabo, then the technique would be B-ranked power with the property of overwhelming to techniques of the same rank. Finally, the rules for what techniques can be fused are as followed. The first rule is that the two techniques need to fulfill the same general purpose. However when he asked i she was okay and how they managed to make them retreat her bright smile turned into a bit of a frown. "Physically yes, I'm a durable person it's probably my best trait." She spoke before pausing and then looking down towards the ground. "I'm not really sure we...made them retreat. They had powers I don't understand, that I've never seen before. After you left 3 more people appeared from nowhere, they set those black flames on the tower then disappeared just as fast as they appeared."
As Alice spoke, her frown continued to progress into a more and more dejected expression. "One of he three people that showed up said something to them right before they left. I think they just...chose to leave on their own." Soon there would be a few tears dropping from the blonde girl's face, uncontrolled and real as she now knew the kind of situation she was in. "Now I know, this world I left my island to become part of...maybe it's too much for me. Maybe I won't be able to handle it." With a sniffle she would bring her arm up to wipe her eyes of tears with a portion of the cloth part of her armor. "I'm sorry, may have jumped in the way and defended the attack from that masked one...but I don't feel like I truly protected the village."

The fact that there were three additional people meant that this attack, whatever it was, was bigger than anything they anticipated. Furthermore, given what the bird masked man said, it is entirely possible that the attack on the gates were nothing more than a distraction. This means that one of the three figures who Alice saw was the true mastermind, and whatever she was doing was the true target of the whole ordeal.

Although Toki was forcing positivity and a smile, internally he was still terrified by the idea of being butchered by the rogue. "Second of all, we did our part. Whatever that inner group did was supposed to be dealt with by the village, and by the fact that they escaped means our village failed. You did your part by making sure their tirade of tyranny stopped at the gates." Toki continued to rub gently the woman's shoulders as he tried to soothe the shame she projected. Guilt was something Zelel was avid against, since to wallow in the past meant being unable to accept the future. It was from this resolution that his mind formed a plan.

His arm extended in a cheer as he was overly confident that the two of them could pull this off.

"Sannnngggooo. I'm so pumped," exclaimed Himawari, "I mean, we haven't found their bodies so they are definitely alive! And people had heard of Theo! I am so happy! They did say he looks a lot more different than the pictures but it can't be, it's only been uh," paused Himawari to count the fingers on her hand, "Six years? Maybe seven. Hmm. No matter! Let's hope that Konohagakure have answers that we neeeeeeeed." With a squeal, a hop, and a skip, she paused as she sees two people on the road. Niko had been following and entirely quiet the whole time. He becomes concern for Himawari's approach to strangers as if every stranger as a friend. Sango knows of this annoyance. "Oh! Hi!!!!" She called out to them as she ran up to them and started digging around on her attire. "Hold on, I"m not used to my travel clothes. See, back home, I always wear the nice fancy garments but out here- there it is!" She got out a small book that seemed well used. Niko was currently standing behind her, ready to move at a moment's notice. "Okay, have you seen any of these people?" She questioned towards them with a smile and bright blue eyes. There's three photos in the book. One contained a woman with big mane of white thick hair and blue eyes. Darker skin than Himawari that was for sure. Behind her was a massive lion/snow leopard creature and you can tell there was lion blood cause it had a mane which assumed that it was a male. In another was a masculine white haired male, one eye was blue and the other was green. And the last one was a little boy, looked like Theo but the hair had slight blonde to it. "Okay! So that pretty lady is my mum, her name is Hakanai, here's her bestest friend ever, Shukenja, then that's Theodred, mom's friend and my friend's dad which is the little boy over theeeerrreee, that's his son. I'm looking for them! Mom, Shu, and Theo was in trouble so they dropped us off at Masahiro's place and then Theorded, the little boy, who is a dumb dumb and decided to run away to find Theo without our help so I'mma smack him senseless when I see him and drag him back home." It seemed that Himawari was able to talk all of this without needed to take in the air as she stood there with a bright smile on her face and waited for their answers to if they had seen them. Quiet as his breed, Niko watched the two and listened for anything else around them.

S A N G O - "KNIVES" - O S A D A
The long anticipated journey to the west find Himawari's family had finally begun. Not too long after returning from the Land of Tea, it was all Himawari could talk about. Sango, of course, agreed to assist her on her quest in searching for them. Their first stop was Konohagakure. It was one of the closest villages to use as a starting point, and with the Emperor having some ties to the village and is related to Himawari in some way (at least, from what Sango knows/has gathered), it'd be likely that the duo could uncover some leads here. The individual named 'Theo' was somewhat known, so that in itself was a positive. "Mhm! Don't worry Hima, I'm sure someone will know something. If not, we'll just have to keep looking!" The young ward's enthusiasm was contagious, and Sango couldn't help but smile and feel happy for her best friend who was excited about their adventure.
Further down the road, two individuals stood before them as they approached. Himawari took no time in introducing herself before Sango could get a better assessment of them. "Hima- !" Internally the street performer couldn't do much but sigh, and follow closely behind her. The two people they approached appeared to be a mother and their child - this was the conclusion Sango came to at least. The two of them had to be some kind of Shinobi or travelers given their attire; the woman's armor was a bigger indicator that she was some kind of knight and/or Shinobi, just going off of what she experienced back in Gurinbare-to. The boy could have easily been mistaken for Himawari's twin brother in appearance, with the same kind of childlike enthusiasm brimming off of him. They didn't appear to be threatening as Himawari eagerly presented photos of her lost family members. This also concerned Sango to some degree, sharing valuable information with such strangers, but then again, she was praying that these two were as friendly as they appeared.
"Please, forgive us." Sango stepped beside Himawari as she finished explaining the motives behind her personal quest. She rested a hand on her best friend's shoulder, bringing Hima close to her own body as if to hide the instincts of protecting the Emperor's ward under a friendly gesture. "We didn't mean to intrude. My friend here is just really excited about finding her family and forgot about the importance of introductions..." Words were emphasized with a gentle squeeze of Himawari's shoulder. "We're travelers from the Fire Country, making our way to Konohagakure in search for them." A vague introduction as it might have been, Sango wasn't one-hundred percent sure if these two were safe to be around. While there was some certainty that these individuals meant no harm, she of all people knew that looks could be deceiving.
The glowing bright smile of the blonde female once more began to shine across her face. Little did the young man know, simply referring to her as 'Ms. Alice' brought brightness back to her person and her thoughts. However his pep-talk made it even better. He was right after all, she defended him from that attack, she protected him. They did what they could do and in the end the harm and damage was kept to a minimum, and the escape was indeed perhaps the fault of the village. Feeling much better about herself and the situation as a whole. However Toki continued, talking about finding the bad guys, just the two of them. Of course she'd have liked that, but she didn't think it was particularly a good idea. She didn't know what to say in response to it...but it would be fine.
As she went to open her mouth to speak, perhaps even offer an alternative to his idea of going after them. A female voice called out to them shouting hi. Alice turned her head to look at the female who spoke about not being use to travel clothes. She then showed them the three pictures, Alice looked pretty closely at the pictures and frowned shaking her head. Another approached and explained in a bit more of a calm and scoldy way towards the girl that approached them. Alice smiled and looked at the two of them. "It's no problem, I'm sorry I haven't seen the people you guys are looking for." She said, not worried much about the particular way they were or being interrupted.
However as she stood there and thought about it....gears turned in her head. Fancy clothes....travelers....a light suddenly lit in her head. A comically worried look spread across her face and an exaggerated gasp of shock escaped her mouth. "OH, MY, GOD, I JUST LEFT KOETSU AT THE RAMEN SHOP BY HIMSELF!" She shouted, looking back and forth as if she needed to figure out what to do about it. "I'm such a horrible teacher! I need to go! I'm sorry I'll see you later if we happen to cross paths again. Good luck finding your friends and family! Bye!" And suddenly Alice was running as fast as she could back towards Konohagakure.
Theo had been walking for a while, probably about a day, when he had finally noticed that he was on the main road through Fire country that headed back to Konoha. Ever since the kind of forced flashbacks that kickstarted his sage training, he had been thinking about Himawari and Theodred. He’d then spend a while mentally berating himself for them not being his first thought once he had gotten free and healed. Pulling an apple out of his bag, he’d pass another one up to his little buddy Qi on his shoulder as he walked.with his staff in hand.
After a while he noticed a small group of people ahead down the road, 2 looking kind of weirdly dressed,one with black hair, the other with bright white-blond ish. Then a couple others with more combative looking gear. Somebody even had a fairly large cat with them. At first, Theo just shrugged them off as random folks along the road, but then he thought about the light haired girl, or at least he assumed they were female from the height and rough body shape he could see from this distance. After a while, he would walk up to them and stop for a second, looking the short girl over, she looked weirdly familiar... but he couldn’t quite place it. He had heard the armored female mention they were looking for family before running off and went with that. “Uhhh... You guys looking for people?...” he would say casually, standing a couple feet behind the group, his voice rumbling like low thunder. As he waited to see what was up, he would lean on his staff slightly and scratch his head before giving little Qi some head scratches too.

Toki leaned back and stared at the girl who rushed over to Alice and himself. His mouth fell slightly ajar at the vivid animation in the manner of which she introduced everyone in the photos. Toki had experience the same kind of euphoria the girl has, but has never seen it in another person. It was perplexing being on the opposite side of the phantasmal display of emotion. Even more startling was the giant jaguar which Toki was sure would eat him if he even so much as sneezed in the woman's direction. When another girl arose to apologize to the first, Toki regained his composure as he awkwardly scratched the back of his head with his right hand. "Oh no worries! Sorry for being quiet. Let's see if I know your... family?" He said, still unsure if he picked out all of the details correctly. Alice did not know them either, and Toki confirmed his ignorance of them also. However, it was then that Alice suddenly bolted which caused the boy to become enveloped in a comically sized dust cloud. By the time it passed his hair was blown back as though hit with a powerful gust.
"And she said I run fast...." He said as he made quick work to fix his hair. As Toki reflected on her lack of assistance, he felt the urge to turn back as well. He was only one ninja, and a genin at that. He only began his shinobi journey not too long ago, and his rank was still only a genin. This was clearly a job for a higher skilled team. However, a resolve struck inside him like lighting crashing into the one tree on a hill. These rogues disrupted the safety of his village, and took from him the sense of stability he was supposed to have. He already lost that comfort once when meteors descended until Uzushiogakure by the actions of one group of rogues. He couldn't allow another to make playthings of village securities. No, he needed to find the cause of this group's actions, and make sure Konoha had the knowledge it needed to be safe. It was for this reason Toki turned to the new group and bowed. "I hope you find who you are looking for!" He said as he disappeared into a body flicker.

Toki's body flicker arrived him back into the residential district without issue. He wasn't sure if he was being followed, but he had a slight feeling as though he wasn't. He gave his note to Chai, and he hoped that was enough to get him off of his trail. As he entered his home, he quickly locked the door behind him. He then stood by the door with a kunai drawn to see if anyone was going to come knocking.

The user's speed and agility when wielding a small weapon is increased by [1] point. ▱▰▱ Dirty Reflection | With proper training and time put in, the user has learned how to angle their blade so that each attack reflects light at the opponent. After each technique, light shines in the opponent's eyes and reduces their agility for that turn equal to the rank of the technique used by the practitioner. Additionally, once every three posts the user can cause tier one blindness on the target. ▱▰▱ Two-fer-one | The practitioner is now accustomed to performing techniques they have mastered with either one or two knives. Once per post, the user may use a single D-Rank or lower technique involving small weapons as a supplementary action. ▱▰▱ Blade’s Edge l The user has learned to utilize projectile weapons with this style, allowing their small projectile weapons to be interchangeable with small weapons for this style. Instead of calling these weapons back to the user, they are able to be manipulated by the chakra threads they are attached to in a similar manner to puppet strings.The chakra threads attached to the weapons remain active for three posts and techniques can be executed from the Manipulating Line technique as though thrown by the user if desired. ▱▰▱ Collaboration [ Korabo ] | Rank X | Passive technique allows the user to combine two techniques together in order to create a single, stronger technique. Both activations of the lesser techniques must be paid along with their original cost from the person casting the technique. If the techniques combining originate from separate individuals, both individuals must have this technique and be able to use techniques equal to their partner's body rank. Two techniques of equal rank fused will become a technique of power one rank higher. So two B-ranked techniques fuse to make one A-ranked technique. Furthermore, two techniques separated by one rank in power will take the rank power of the higher rank, but will eliminate any potential weaknesses of the two techniques, and give the fusion the property of overwhelming. So if a B-ranked an a C-ranked technique were fused through the use of Korabo, then the technique would be B-ranked power with the property of overwhelming to techniques of the same rank. Finally, the rules for what techniques can be fused are as followed. The first rule is that the two techniques need to fulfill the same general purpose. For example, two projectile techniques can be fused together through the use of Korabo. However, an elemental shield and projectile technique cannot be fused together. Second of all, if two techniques of the same elemental property, or the same technique performed twice, are fused then the two techniques maintain their elemental strength and weaknesses. If two techniques with differing elements are fused, then the fusion loses all elemental strength and weaknesses. Finally, techniques can only be fused of different elements so long as they are complimentary elements, aka elements which have no elemental strength or weakness against each other. The only exception is if you fuse a technique with one of one rank higher, and the technique of one rank higher is of a weaker elemental property than the element which is stronger. An example is if you wanted to fuse a C-ranked water ninjutsu with a fire ninjutsu, then the fire ninjutsu would have to be B-ranked. In this example, the jutsu would treat the B-ranked fireball as C-ranked, and thus two fused would act as a B-ranked technique. Techniques fused either have to be of the same rank, or one rank difference. Finally, despite the leaning toward ninjutsu, this technique allows one to fuse complex and spiritual tai and bukijutsu as well. For complex techniques, treat it's fusion with ninjutsu as the example with two opposing elements fusing, (aka, if you want to fuse a B-ranked complex punch with a ninjutsu, then the ninjutsu would have to be C-ranked). The older woman spoke first, apologizing that she hasn't seen them. Himawari didn't become crestfallen! No! She was still smiling! "That's okay! I'm bound to find them eventually!" Himawari doesn't give up hope. Himawari paused for a moment as she had a shock look on her face, "Huh?" She questioned, glanced behind her to see what it was and saw nothing. She turned to face the woman again as she said she left someone at the ramen shop and was gone. Hearing Toki, Himawari couldn't help but to nod. "Yea! She was super fast! It was pretty cool to be honest!" It seemed the blonde haired boy was distracted by something and said that he hoped she find what she was looking for, "Me too! Good luck in your travels," Exclaimed Himawari as she waved good bye. Heard a voice that she was looking for people, "Yea! I am, I'm looking for-" She stopped as she turned and faced him. Her eyes squinted at him. She brought up his picture to her eye level. Then she looked at him. Picture. The man. Picture. The man. Each second was more rapid than the first. "THHHHEEEOOO!" screeched Himawari as she threw the book in air, papers flying everywhere as she ran to Theo and jumped up in attempt to tackle hug him. "Theo Theo Theo!" She said over and over as she was legit grappling him with her arms and legs so hard that it would be hard for her to be pried away. It was as if her aura said 'over my dead body' if anyone dared to try to pry this sunshine away from Theo. "Oh my gosh, I can't believe it's you! It's me! Himawari! Where's Mom and Shukenja? Oh I am so sorry, your son decided to be incredibly stuuuupppiiidd and ran away from Masahiro and me, I tried tracking him but- ugh! He's so stupid I want to smack him and strangle him and - THEO! I Missed you so much!" Another hug. During all that Niko had inched closer to Theo and sniffed few times. Niko had gotten ahold of Himawari and Theo's clothes when they first appeared at Masahiro's home for tracking purposes. Niko felt better that this scent does indeed smelt familiar so he wasn't worried that Himawari had decided to jump on a wrong person.

Ask quickly as the duo met the two strangers on the road, they left just as fast - if not faster, in the armored woman's case. Sango could understand the importance of fulfilling the duty of ensuring someone's safety; not as a teacher, but a guard to the emperor's ward. The Himawari look-alike also made his sudden departure without further explanation, likely to be one of the woman's students as well, Sango would assume.
Shortly after, another man approached with a monkey on his shoulder, inquiring about the individuals the duo were looking for. Only for Himawari to exclaim excitedly that she found the one known as 'Theo'. Sango remembered looking at the pictures, scanning the man over once to make sure her friend wasn't about to go hug all over a stranger. The man appeared... slightly older than what was depicted, but possessed quite a few noticeable features as the picture that Himawari had. Even Niko, Himawari's pet approved after doing their own inspection of the stranger. Sango stayed back, smiling at the reunion of her friend and one of her family members. They were one step closer to finding the rest of her family.
Theodin watched as the shorter girl turned and squinted at him. Tilting his head, slightly confused both at why she seemed oddly familiar and how she was looking back and forth between him and a paper she had held up to her face, he would flinch slightly as she started screeching his name and tackled him. In a little cloud of dust, Theo would land on his back with Himawari clinging to him tightly talking a mile a second as Son Qi hopped off his shoulder to avoid the fall, chattering grumpily at Hima for tackling them and at Theo for letting her. Something about the pride of the Mt.huang monkeys and the monkey sage or something. He didn’t catch it all over Hima’s talking a few inches from his ear.
When it finally fully sank in who he was dealing with, Theo would look down at the girl’s face. “H-Himawari?....” Theo would stammer out, he had planned to go looking for her and Theodred once he checked in at konoha, but hadn’t expected to run into her on the road. Squeezing Hima tightly in a hug, the big man would continue, “... Theodred ran of...? How? When?... why?” He’d ask in quick succession before taking a deep breath. “As for your mom and Shukenja.......” Theo trailed off silently, he wasn’t sure how to tell her that her mom and her partner had died that night when she was sent to Uzushiogakure all those years ago.he could already tell that she at least had been somewhat sheltered from the hard parts of shinobi life since then. Finally managing to pry her off of him, he would get up to a kneeling position in front of her before pulling her back into a more proper hug. “I’m so glad to have found you, at least... “ he’d say quietly.

He disappeared as quickly as he re-appeared. He knew that Kenshin would be quick on his tail, and he had to find shelter before he was cornered once again. With no other place to turn to, he returned to Konoha.

This means that strikes involving the blade cause physical damage including stab wounds as well as seal tenketsu points and any other effects of the technique used through the sword. An additional 5 chakra can be applied to the blade to prevent it from causing physical damage from thrusting but instead seal tenketsu points and inflict pain similar to a stab wound in the area struck but slashing attacks can still cause damage. Half the resource cost of techniques from the rapier style of Sen Gekiretsu Nagareboshi applied allows the technique to carry the tenketsu sealing effects of a same-rank palm strike such as a B-Rank carrying 64 Palms effects. Getsuruito must be in its rapier form to use this ability and 5 chakra can be spent upon activation of this technique to transform it as such. The Righteous Sword of the Sentinel technique has a 10 post duration before necessitating re-activation and costs an E-Rank amount of chakra. The initial activation of this technique consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not.
Smiting Blade of the Night Watch [ Naitō Otchi no Sumittinguburēdo ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Spiritual When this technique is activated it crackles violently with night blue lightning for the entire duration. The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Whenever the blade is swung or thrust over the duration the user can fire a concentrated blast of ten bolts of lightning to accompany the strike equal to the rank applied but for only half the cost to initiate the technique. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. The bolts cause a thunderously deafening sonic boom and can inflict tier 2 burns upon direct contact with the lightning. Additionally, these lightning bolts can be freely applied to all complex bukijutsu for no action cost to smite enemies. The only action cost is when the technique is activated and all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not consume actions and only chakra. This ability can be used in both forms of Getsuruito.
Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibā ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. This same cost can be applied to any complex bukijutsu to achieve the same effect. The original 10 post activation of this ability consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities do not.
