Nestled in the midst of a group of gently sloping hills covered in a light forest lays the peaceful town of Estia. The town is quite large for it's being less than four years old- adorned with paved streets, bustling shops and inhabitants of various walks of life. Estia has no standing military and no presiding authority except for a few general rules that help keep the peace. In times of distress, the Estians turn to Belamos for guidance and, if need be, protection. The town was built around the Karna Residence with many of the current inhabitants moving here in the hopes of a peaceful life. While Estia has no ties to either Shinobi Nation, neither does it hold animosity towards them. People are free to come and go as they please and strangers in Estia will always be met with a warm welcome, a soft bed and a plethora of friendly company.

Leia's hunter hut
Leia is in her hut, she can hear ruckus a bit from the other house but she focuses on the animal she had caught from the forest, a boar, big one. Leia uses her katana to break off its tusk, any time she catches a animal and kills it, she has to take the time to take every piece of the animal. The meat she may get out of this can be used for a big dinner one night, perhaps a boar dinner. Through the several years she has lived here, she never really joined Belamo's family for dinner, its not proper, anything else though, she makes sure they can eat every night, sometimes they hunt as well. Nothing she can do about it, this merely passes the time for her and among all else, she even has a bathroom system set where its cleaned out and no waste gets into the ecosystem of the forest. The forest would suffer big time if that was the case and would ruin where they get their meat from. She always save a piece of meat for herself, something she can use for a stew or even a seasoned steak since its from a boar. Leia leaves the hut heading out towards the meat shed she calls it and stores another bag worth of boar meat, the family tend to use it slowly and not go through it so crazy. With that, she returns to the hut, closing, bolting the door shut, not giving any entry into the hut. Leia lays down onto her nice hut bed, so comfy and lively for her as a hunter and trapper. She even has some static strings set up around her hut so that while she is sleeping and somebody crosses over the strings, it will wake her and let her know somebody is coming up. She wonders about Belamos, the man who took her in and offered her a place here in Estia. Its peaceful and that day far back, she thought he would of killed her but he didn't. Its all thanks to that man she has a place to call home after all. She begins to close her eyes really tired from hunting down the boar, who was a really big catch for sure and all the bones among other left overs disposed of properly anyhow.
It had been quite the journey, but finally, after much traveling, Takashi had found his way to Estia. He was quite impressed by the current state of the little town. Despite being established only a few years ago, it was already bustling with people and had impressive structures. It made him excited at the prospect of making his own mark on the town, hoping his craftsmanship could add to the town's growth and development. Before he put his nose to the grindstone though, he first needed to find where Belamos was. After all, that was the whole reason he had come to Estia.
After asking one of the passing locals, Takashi discovered that Belamos resided in a house on the far eastern side of town. Thanking the townsfolk for their help, he then set a course for Belamos's residence, hoping to find him at home.
Sheva walked through the center of town, she observed the citizens closely and the horizon. Though there had been nearly 5 years of peace, the Koragashi War did something to her. She grew more paranoid about the thought of random portals appearing, patrolling the small village was something that enveloped her ever thought and motion. She walked through the town and headed to the outlying areas to make sure nothing was wrong. She was more then happy to be there, she never really considered Arashi her home; more then anything Sheva felt more alone in a larger village then Estia.
She took out a small notebook and took notes on what she saw and moved on.
__Some amount of walking later Nohea came upon the townโs center. No matter how many times she tried there was just no caging her up, the scent of the outdoors was far too intoxicating anyway. Putting herself on a mission Nohea ran past all of her usual stops in the town, making her way to the old hunting shop the young shark girl burst through the doors with no apparent concern for notifying anyone before doing so. A gruff voice calling out form the back as she did so. โWhat the hell I tell you bout that ter door eh?! Donโt make me get yer dad!โ Smirk on her face Nohea retorted loudly. โYeah yeah old man, where are those traps you want set up?โ Curses, grumbles, and metal clanging echoed from the back but all ceased when the buildings owner, Jack, dropped all manner of traps imaginable onto the desk Nohea waiting at. Without waiting for a response Nohea swiped them and ran out the door for the forests.
The two had sort of an understanding between them where, Nohea would go out every now and then to set up and collect animals caught in the traps for the old man who was far too tired to do much anymore. In exchange she could take things from her shop at will and learn hunting secrets in the process. It was surprising just how much she had learned from the old man but that was something she would never admit out loud. Metal clanging on her back it was less than an hour later when Nohea sat deep enough in the woods where the deer tracks could be seen fresh in the dirt. This year has yielded good so far and many would eat well in the winter from her hard work.
The bear traps were first, there sharp teeth hidden in the foliage like a hungry shark ready to snap itโs jaws close. Bears never came close but it was a good deterrent regardless, and since none of the previous traps had found their luck it was time to go right to setting up new ones. The first were the clover traps meant to catch young deer. Similar to a small house there would be a trip wire along with some bait that would drop the cage door behind them. Once fully prepped Nohea used the left-over wire to make snares at the tree bases. Rabbits might not seem like much, but Marie could turn them into the most delicious stew Nohea had ever tasted. Even if it was cooked.
Her job completed Nohea made her way out of the forest and back to old man Jack to see if she could squeeze herself out a reward. The thought of the manโs homemade beef jerky already had her mouth watering after a hard dayโs work.
